Adrian Perkowski: A cute little shop with a wide selection of beers and wine. The only reason why I’m giving this place 3 stars is because of price. $20 for a 6 pack of beer is a little ridiculous. It’s a shame they are really taking advantage of location and convenience.

Alejandro López: Great market with good products. Perfect to buy a gift to take to a dinner. Most of it Italian, but it has many international products. The personal of the shop were really helpful and nice. Not cheap prices, but good quality.

Amadeus: Always an excellent store but today I tried their fresh cookies by the deli...SO good. They aren't just any boring cookies! You have to try the sandwich cookies with mocha cream in the middle.

Martin Steyn: Came in for a lunchtime sandwich and was not disappointed. Bread was fresh, as was all the ingredients, and the sandwiches were quickly made to order. We can definitely recommend the chicken pesto sandwich or the avocado SLT.

Max Baxter: Love this place, and I'm not even a wine drinker. Incredible selection of chocolates and candies, great deli and sandwiches, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Perfect location too, great for grabbing a sandwich and eating in the park. One nit pick is that it's pretty cramped, but it's absolutely worth the visit if you're near the area.

The store has many variety of wines, beers, and snacks. Most of snack brands are exotic and not easily found in supermarkets. Cool experience.We bought a chicken Parmesan sandwich and a roast beef reuben sandwich, very well made, the chicken and beef meat were extremely tender.Definitely recommended!

Also ordered a chicken Parm grinder and what a joke. These ppl clearly make their money from unsuspecting tourists. Shame on this restaurant. Taylor Clarkson: Placed a catering order. Went to pick it up and they didn’t have the order and claimed I called the wrong location which I confirmed I didn’t. They then didn’t offer to remake food and didn’t care. Poorest customer service.

Silyane Larcher: This was my 3rd times at Cardullo's. The sandwiches were quite good for correct prices. But today, the California wrap was absolutely insulting for any customer who paid for eating : I had to look for the avocado in my sandwich... Only crumbs!!... Not sure I will go back....

Diana Picariello: Gourmet galore! Fabulous meats, cheeses, wine and gourmet foods. Don't go here hungry and it's not cheap but great for a special occasion. Love the many gluten free options too (crackers breads ciders etc). Staff is always lovely and wants to help.

Patrick McKenna: Great craft beer selection. Also has good deli that stocks hard to find cheese and meats. The freshly baked bread behind the counter is also a steal.

Colin Eckhoff: My favorite store in Cambridge. Wide variety of high-quality, gourmet Western cuisine ingredients from local US suppliers and European imports. Staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful in discussing the needs of your kitchen. If you like to cook good food, this is the place. Just remember: with food, like many trades, you get what you pay for, so spend accordingly. It's worth it.

Jon Whitney: This is a comment on the tinned fish ***only***, for cheese Formaggio is iconic, but someone recommended I check them out for their tinned fish, and I was disappointed, bordering on insulted.Once again, for their cheese and other specialties they're legendary so this is only a jab on their tinned fish selection and prices.I enjoy tinned fish/seafood in the mornings to bring to work if I'm hungry for breakfast - eat it on crackers or toast - the tins are very portable, last long, and are far more enjoyable to me than eggs without the cholesterol. I'm always looking for more varieties, etc.The selection at Formaggio's was low (sure, there's probably not a lot of demand for it) and the prices were astoundingly high (I get it, Cambridge rents/taxes are way too high and the city only works for the super wealthy at this point).But you can drive to a Portuguese grocery store in Lowell or Fall River and find exponentially more variety, all at a cost of less than $5 each tin. Formaggio's had some that were over $15!I ended up buying a handful, just to see if the quality was any better than what I'm used to (Formaggio's prides themselves on being "premium" top-notch curated right?) but I was underwhelmed.If you're into exploring the delights of tinned fish/seafood, Formaggio's is not the place.

Nicolai Cauchy: Though larger, the new store is more crammed than was the old one, and less personable than was Fresh Pond Market. The prices are, well....Formaggio style, i.e. through the roof, but it is what meets their demand. I regret that the selection of cheeses from micro producers in Europe (especially France and Italy) seems to have dwindled (maybe Covid effect?) and that there is no discernible push for New England cheeses, as some found in VT and the Adirondacks. Timothy Bucciarelli: There are a few places in the Boston area that have stood the test of time for good reason. Formaggio Kitchen is one of them. I've worked there and been a customer for many, many years. Yes, it can be expensive, but if you really care about the quality of the food you are buying and care about the service experience you have when purchasing, this is one of the only places to go. [Update] Still a joy to shop here! You might think cheese from elsewhere is good enough... But their selection and focus on quality (and knowledgeable staff) continues to set them apart. Still great. November/December are great months to go as they are putting out all of their holiday goodies!

Brad: I came here for a cheese making class. The location is a little hard to find, it looks like storage units but then there is a place where they teach the class. I was excited to take the class but it wasn't really what I thought. You don't actually make the cheese, you watch 2 cheesemakers make the cheese. They were great but you are not involved at all, you can ask questions and they provide the printed recipe but they are not that detailed and you have to make your own notes if you wanted to replicate the recipe at home. I mean for $55 I got to watch someone else make cheese and take home the tiniest amount (Small than a golf ball). They do offer some wine but it's super limited, maybe you have less than 1 glass for the whole night, I know that is not the point but to me I just don't think the class was worth $55, you can just watch a youtube video and buy yourself a bottle of wine and you have the same experience.

Vanessa Phillips: I am so sad I didn't start coming here sooner! This place is adorable and all the staff have been outstandingly kind to me. They are very helpful in explaining their offerings and they also let me know they have different made to order foods (like this burger) for different days of the week. In addition to things you'd expect at a butcher's, they also carry ice cream, other snacks, and even mini laundry detergent. Would absolutely recommend, anything I've had from here has been delicious.

I had a few questions about delivery since we've had issues with UPS in our area and the person answering the emails was very prompt and helpful. What really amazed me was that they reached out concerned that the shipment was delayed, but that was only because that day we got like a foot of snow, but I thought it was very thoughtful of them to check in and that they were keeping an eye on it. I'm so excited about that cassoulet I'm making this weekend with their wonderful products. Of course I'll order again! Tip your butchers when you order, they do a wonderful job!

Andrey Sh: What a terrible customer service experience... I placed an order to buy some food in Savenors on 12/26 for my celebration meal and I scheduled a pickup in Cambridge on 12/28. I specifically drove 25 miles to Savenors Cambridge to get my order on-time. When I arrived, I was shocked to see that the shop was closed! I can't believe they just decided to take a day off in the middle of the week and they didn't call me. So, I wasted 2.5 hours to drive to Savenors Cambridge and I'll spend another 2.5 hours tomorrow again (if they are open). If you have a special event, don't count on Savenors, they don't care - just order somewhere else unless you have a backup plan.

Myriam Michel: Pulled up to Savenor's on the day before Christmas Eve to get lamb shanks for Christmas dinner. In typical kiddos fashion, as soon as I pulled up to the shop, both my kids were in deep sleep. Feeling stuck, I sat in the car for a long time debating on what to do. I called Savenor's and explained to Chris, the butcher, my situation and he said "I can help!" He enthusiastically took my order and payment over the phone and brought out my order cheerfully saying "Merry Christmas to you!"AHH - I LOVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!Thank you and you've gained a new lifetime customer!
