Chutney's Cambridge: what do users think?
yakshitha punati: Unappetizing smell, greasy food, too much food color and horrible taste, I once ordered from this place and the food was the worst food I’ve ever had in Boston, waste of money
Akash Burman: Horrible food. Dont Order.
Mani: Indo Chinese (Hakka) spot in a small food court adjacent to Harvard University. We visited this place after the Harvard Tour and we were so glad that we chose the right spot. The appearance of the store front may look deceiving but the food tasted way better. We order Hakka noodles, Triple Schewan fried rice, Bombay chilli chicken, Chilli Garlic Chicken, chicken Momo's. All tasted great except for the Momo's. Highly recommended after your Harvard Tour.
Sushant Prakash: Food was uninspiring: bhel puri was soggy, veg Manchurian was soggy and not a good flavor, chili paneer was just okay, and Hakka noodles were decent. Atmosphere of the food court is not great either, I guess that's why they call it the GarageFood: 2/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5 …More
Rashmi venugopal: its busy corner, good for quick bite, taste is goodFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Momos …More
Sanjana Shetty: This place is perfect for Indian street food lovers who also have a non-sensitive guy. While they do make their food incredibly palatable, they also add a tonne of food coloring and oil. So this is a place to go to once a while when you are in the mood for complete indulgence.
Yev Bronshteyn: They took my money, still no food after 20 minutes. Refused to give me my money back when I asked, lying that’s order was almost done when I could see they hadn’t started.
Deepika V: Got ordered through Uber Eats.Highly disappointed for receiving the burnt veg manchurian and the schezwan rice is too much coloured and didn’t taste good at all..We had ended up trashing it as as it’s wasn’t at all eatable..Couldn’t able to even order anymore from here.Wouldn’t recommend anymore as they lost the valued customers.Recommended dishes Veg Manchurian …More
Kranthi Kumar: Recommended dishes Chicken Tikka MasalaMore
Akshay Patil: Ordered noodles and chicken 65. The chicken was extremely chewy and honestly not good at all. It also felt stale and re-refried !The noodles were okay, I have had better experience in the past but this time the food was really bad !!!
Aaron Kirtland: Very slow service; they cooked noodle dishes slowly one at a time
Roshan Shah: I was super tired after Harvard tour and came here for a lunch. They gave me Naan which was not cooked, it was wet. I asked the worker, why my naan is wet, and they said we use frozen naan here and this is how it is. It was for sure few days cooked Naan, which was not tasty and smelled bad. Wouldn’t recommend anyone here.
Nikunj Vora: Food: 1/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Hana Na: Paneer tikka masala with naan. Wish I had more curry because it was very delicious.
J T: Delicious foodFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Adith R Krishnan: Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Momos, Veg ManchurianMore
Elizabeth Shulman: Takes forever 😴
Ketan Kshirsagar (KK): If you are missing home food. Chutney is best place to have tasty indian street food. Must visit.
raj ghimire: Used to be good but now with new management, food quality is zero. Plz avoid if u can.
Chockalingam: Pav Bhaji and samosas were pretty good. Lassi was decent.
Sahil Natu: You'd find good Indian food or Chinese food here in US, but good Indo-Chinese is a rare thing. I thought it didn't exist here until one day I found this place. The food is hot and spicy - they don't ask for spice level preference, and I like it this way - who has chicken chili or triple schezwan fried rice with less spice. The flavour profile reminds of street food you'd have in India. If you're some one like me who's spent a better part of their life in India and misses the all too common fried rice, hakka noodles and some chili and lollipops, this is the place to be. I believe they have other dishes on offer too, but I'm yet to try those. 5/5, super recommend!

Sophie McMonagle: This is our go to spot for Indian food. Great portions, delicious food, and super friendly staff.
Pragati Satpute: One of the best Indian food places in the area. I get take out food from here all the time. I have tried almost everything on the menu it and never had any complaints.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5 …More
Robert Hertigan: Best Indian food in Greater Boston area. So glad I found Suriya, as I work in area. Grab pickup here minimum 3 times a week! Love vegetable samosas and pakoras. Nice kick to them! Have tried a different chicken entree each time I go and love them all! Prices very reasonable. Highly recommend!
Heidi Peterson: This is our go-to spot for Indian food. All the dishes are delicious - some of our favorites are the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka masala, lamb biryani (so tender), baingan bharta, and raita. Great service and prices as well.
Rilyee Kniskern: Amazing food, amazing service! Great place for take out. I didn't have any idea what I wanted when I walked in and the man behind the counter asked if I would like any suggestions. They were open to my allergies and told me what I could and couldn't eat! Definitely drop in for your next mealFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Teddy Guild: Awesome neighborhood spot that rivals some of the best Indian food in the city! Run by two of the hardest working people I’ve ever met. No matter how busy they are, they always greet you with a warm smile and excellent food - couldn’t reccomend more!
Nicholas Pabon: Fantastic takeout spot. Easily the best curries and breads I've found in the area, prices are great, and the service is always friendly!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5Recommended dishes Butter Chicken, Chana Masala, Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala & Aloo Gobi, Chicken Curry, Mango Lassi, Paneer Tikka Masala …More

joshua destine: Always gets it right to perfection!!!
Charlie Simek: I go to this place weekly, and Raj is always friendly and serving up amazing food. You really can’t go wrong on the menu, it’s all very good. Portions are good and well priced. The picture is Chicken Tikka Masala, Saag Paneer, Naan, and a Mango lassi
David Stauffer: Without doubt, this is the best Indian cuisine in the area.
Laura Steere: Awesome Indian food close by, one of the best kept secrets in Cambridge
Sayak Mitra: Surya Indian is the most authentic Indian Food joint. If someone is looking for Indian food that taste like literally food in India and all healthy ingredient (smell of fresh spices) and a generous portion - then I would highly recommend. I bought Mutton Hyderabadi Biryani and Karahi Goat with Mango Lassi! I have tried other places in Cambridge, Somerville, Boston University area but no one has that quality in affordable price. Karahi Goat is delicious - freshly made and tender pieces of goat. I had Goat Curry which great as well particularly if someone like mild sauce. I also had naan, garlic naan - all is excellent! As a Kolkata/India native, highly recommending.
James Ferguson: Always enjoyed the food - generally a bit more fragrant and fresh tasting than typical - best Indian in the area IMO. Though I haven't loved their biryani. The "daily special" is a good deal, 1.5 to 2 meals for me, and I have a hearty appetite.
Jeffrey Peterson: I’d give this place 6/5 stars if I could!Sooo much food for the price.Recommended dishes Chana Masala, Chicken Biryani, Naan …More
Cameron Batchelor: Yum! This place is our favorite place in the neighborhood to get Indian food! The spices are perfect and decadent !
Adam Lucia: fresh, fast, and delicious, with large portions. I have celiac's disease and appreciate how well the menu is labeled.
keyshawn goudreau: Best Indian food :)
David Bright: Very poor customer service. So I'm giving one star.

Nirvana The Taste of India: what do users think?
Kotesh Makke: Nice place to prefer Indian food, very good staff and helpful. Like to visit again.. reasonable cost nearby Harvard university.
Krima Modi: I went to Nirvana yesterday afternoon and it was awful experience. The attending waitress could not care less, I had to wait to look around for her just to ask basic items like spoon. I was provided fork and butter knife. Another thing is I ordered Chhoe Bhature so obviously I asked if I can have some onions with lemon and salt on it and little of pickle like one mango slice. She told me it will be charged separately. I still Made my peace with it and said okay then she can with just raw chopped onions no lemon not even salt on it. Besides every place served chhole with 2 bhaturas on standard level, This place provided just one. Although the quality aka taste was good. But quantity and customer service made me post this reviews. Last but not least they charge 50cents for to go container. I mean how cheap one can be. I paid that without complain but then I couldn't pack some of my leftover so I asked her for third container being okay with paying for that and she came with the half sized container than the first two she gave me and she charged me same price for it. I'd say if you have any self respect let do not go. People go to restaurant for eat with ease not to being treated like they are there to eat some free food.
Reshma Menon: I tried this place today after always seeing it was busy in the evenings and was really disappointed. I was hoping to get the thali But you can only choose two entrees and there no no appetizers which did not seem very thali-like. So I ordered the non veg appetizers platter and goat biryani. In the platter, the chicken samosa was too oily, and the kheema inside tasteless. The chicken pakora was bland and soggy, like reheated from the freezer, not freshly fried. The seekh kebab was too salty, and the lamb tips tough. Only the chicken malai kebab was decent, and the saving grace was that they had a nice fresh mint chutney. Finally the "biryani" was a joke -- it was rice and a bland goat curry mixed together with peas, bell peppers, and onions!!! At least the goat was well cooked, but this is a miserable excuse for biryani. Someone trying to cook indian food for the first time following a recipe on the internet can make a more decent biryani with actual spices.Vegetarian options: There are a lot of options for vegetarians and vegans as well.
siddharth sharma: Good food - but pricey
Jessie Wilson: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Meredith Landsmann: Wow - so delicious. I appreciate the menu specifying GF, vegan and vegetarian options. and the DOSA's!Vegetable BiryaniDalTofu MasalaVegetarian options: Extensive vegetarian AND vegan options.Dietary restrictions: GlutenDairy
Naveen Jha: Nice indian food at CambridgeFood: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Isaac: Nirvana is my favorite Indian food in Cambridge! It’s fresh delicious and uses great, high quality ingredients. Get the malai kofta!
V Y: Recommended dishes Lamb Curry, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Tikka, Mango Lassi, Chicken Korma, Garlic NaanMore
Khoi Nguyen: Amazing food. I destroyed the butter chicken and naan. Rice is okay. Spicy is spicy. Fast service. Was a little annoyed by the extra charges for takeout containers.Recommended dishes Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan …More
Charu Singh: Great location, taste was average for authentic Indian food. Both vegetable korma and kadhai paneer gravies tasted similar.Recommended dishes Garlic Naan …More
Olivia B: Like the samosas, everything else is good. Want to try other paneers
Sid Sharma: Good Indian food , reasonable pricesSurprisingly well made mutton.Nice ambience, organized and clean.Kid-friendliness: Friendly and accommodating staff, spice levels toned down for our pre-schoolers.
Jesse Tordoff: Recommended dishes Butter Naan, Mango LassiMore
Isabela Maia: new favorite! I am not used to very spicy food and every time I try “this is not very spicy” food, I always think it is too much. this place has a great level of spiciness for those who really mean when they say they don’t want it very spicy and also those who love to cry eating; my husband can attest that. everyone on my party was satisfied with it & loved the food! I tried the paneer tikka masala & can’t wait to come back.
Eric Lecapitaine: The food was excellent and the service too. If you are looking for good Indian food in Cambridge, look no further!
Vance Tan: Overall, the experience was okay. Can't complain about the average price of the menu, decent value in Boston. The texture of the Naan was a little weird, it felt like they used the batter for Dosa for the Naan as well, which makes it a little too chewy.
Eutaw Street: Used to be a great choice for Indian food, even though the service and individual dishes has always been hit or miss. With the prices increase by 30-40%, its definitely not worth it. There are plenty of Indian food restaurants in $20+/entees range with systemically better quality of service and food.Food: 4/5|Service: 1/5 …More
suman jss: Food was not that greatFood: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Siva Dheeraj Reddy Obulam: This is my go to place for Indian food
Schuyler Bailar: Not sure why this only has 4 stars - it should have 5! Everything was delicious. Complex flavors, well-balanced spices, kind waiters, and impressively fast service. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The chicken tikka dal was so good, I’ll be coming back just for that. The dosa was really very good. We were very surprised. Perfectly crispy but still a touch h can eat. The masala was so well seasoned. One of our party had allergies and they were super accommodating and easy about that. The prices felt reasonable and the portions good. We’ll certainly be back!!

Kantipur Cafe: what do users think?
Phoebe: Nice low key cafe with good, straightforward food. Friendly and fast service, and the price per portion was good. Not the most elevated place but nice to grab a meal at.
Jake Drutchas: The food is tasty, but if you are ordering to go be ready for painfully small portions for the price. $17 for chicken tika and you get a not full small container… makes it difficult to want to go back
Sebastian “III” []: The food is not bad, but the Momos were extremely burned and a few of them were barely edible
Ludgie Goin: The food was really good. Catered to people how like spicy foods and don’t like spicy foods.
kartik tickoo: We reserved a table for 8 for 8.45pm. After we reached they told they don’t have a table for us, and they have to close at 9.30. So they can’t sit us. Staff was rude. We travelled for 45 mins. Highly unprofessional, never gonna come to this place again. Not recommended.
Dom Dove: Mouthwatering quaint cuisines.... this food from where it's from... wow! The process to make these similar meals in Nepal is humbling... awesome gem!!Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Agnes Recato: Attentive wait staff and food was brought out in a timely manner. Delicious dishes.Vegetarian options: Had many vegetarian options on the menu. Had the Okra and some naan with coconut in it. I recommend this place!
Shivin Uppal: Recommended dishes Tandoori MomosMore
AISHWARYA SRIVASTAVA: Recommended dishes Paneer Tikka, Vegetable SamosaMore
A I: We had an issue with allergies here. The server swore up and down that there would be no allergens in our food. We emphasized several times that it was very important that the food be free of certain allergens (particular legumes); he "guaranteed" the food we ordered would be fine.Food arrived, and upon laying it on the table, he said, by the way, the momos have soy in them. Would have been nice to know before it was served. First red flag.Long story short: Ended the night with anaphylaxis. The server, in face of evidence to the contrary, continued to insist that the dishes in question were not made with any allergens. We suspect cross contamination. To their credit, they provided us with allergy medication, and (after we requested) took the dishes in question off our bill - I guess they can have a star back for that.
Aleksander Meyer: Vegetarian options: The tandoori vegetable momos are amazing!
Paul A: Lively, neighborhood cafe ambiance. However, I thought the food was at best average, and "medium" spice level on my chicken vinderloo was mild.Parking: I didn't see any public parking, not even on-street metered. I was able to park only because it was Sunday when resident on-street parking can be used.
Travel Y: The Chicken Chowmein is really good, with chopped veggies and chicken inside. Even I order HOT for spiciness, still not very spicy and totally acceptable. The soup is rich, and the chopped ingredients are all pan-fried, which I appreciate this added details. Garlic nann is also very delicious.Recommended dishes Naan, Chicken Chowmein …More
P S: The best momos in Cambridge!!The momos are perfectly steamed, have a delicious filling and are adequately stuffed to be bite sized. The chutney is also well-balanced. No other place comes even close to how good the momos here are.The restaurant has been consistently excellent and doesn’t disappoint. Further, food is always served with a generous smile.
Jai Bhalla: We had an interesting situation in which we needed space for 30 people. The staff was incredibly understanding and even built extra tables. Incredible staff and incredible food!
Sarah Wang: Yum!!! Chicken pakora, steamed chicken momo, saag paneer, and chicken tikka masala!! All so so excellent! Entrees were a little smaller than expected, but the flavor was amazing! I really liked the saag paneer. The paneer was so soft, and the spinach was really good too. The rice was also surprisingly good! Oh and the mango lassis— definite must order!
Em 41: Best momo in town
Sahana: Very overrated food. Surprised by all the good reviews here to be honest. Ordered two of their more popular dishes - chicken momos and chicken tikka, the latter was very disappointing as there was hardly any flavor to the meat at all, the spices mostly consisted of a thin coating on the surface with a predominantly strong chilli flavor and very bland on the inside. The steamed momos were just about average.
Star McBabe: The food here is phenomenal and I love that the vegan options are clearly marked on the menu! New favorite for office lunch!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Akshay Gupta: Food: 4/5|Service: 2/5|Atmosphere: 2/5More
Jessica Reyes: The food was just not very good and we both felt a little ill after. Service was kind of absent.

Royal Punjab: what do users think?
Tony Singh: I really liked the food. It is very tasty . I have eaten Chana masala and butter chicken both are very tasty and are made as per the spice level I told and the naan was also good.Good serviceI appreciate and recommend the restaurant
Ananda Mishra: Some of the food items are great while some of them tastes so bad. Also, the place kind of stinks so I have only had take outs so far. Also, the customer service needs to be improved since the guy who handed over the food was visibly upset and uninterested.
Vivek Kamisetty: Please don’t make a mistake by selecting this restaurant.
Truck life: Please next time with thali please give desert or salad
xiao xiao: Echoing previous reviews: avoid at all costsDirty, rude service, bad foodFood: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5 …More
Laura Resag: Ordered delivery at around 7:30pm. They said it would take 30 minutes. Called after 45 minutes. Said the delivery guy was about to leave. By 10pm the food was still not delivered. Refused to refund me after food was not delivered. Wouldn‘t recommend.
Will Daggett: Ordered delivery ($80 order). After we didn’t receive anything for an hour, we called. The woman we spoke with said it was on the way, which apparently was false since when we called again forty five minutes later, the man I spoke with told me we didn’t place an order and that none of this was his responsibility, even when we could give him the receipt number. Won’t ever go back here
Luciana Ferreira: It is the food ever.
Manojkumar Narayanan: Tried many items many times. Food is always bland / inauthentic. Tired of waiting too long to order for a take out. There is just one person juggling around with many customers. Wouldn't recommend.
Maura Lonergan: Consistently great food. Great vegetarian options - try the baingan bhartha :) the owners are nice too
Jonathan Goode: Ok... ordered take out(vegetarian) it took over a half an hour to be ready. I got back to my job, no utensils, napkins ect. The food was maybe a 3/5. I could tell they were disorganized and maybe understaffed and not super busy. The lady at the front was obviously frantic and stressed. Who ever the owner is I hope you see this. You need to seriously step in and revive this place. I need good Indian food near me :)
Pooja Tirankar: This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. Atmosphere is chill and cool but the staff is also really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good, some chicken classics ,Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes specifically vegetarian thali , dal tadka , malai kofta and wonderful dessert, and for their prices it’s 100% worth it.
Muhammed Arif Akkurt: They’re terrible!
Christine Maher: We started going to another Indian restaurant and when we came back to Royal Punab we wondered why we left. It's great food at a reasonable price.
Mahi Soni: DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AT ALL!! The place stinks so badly the food is terrible not maintained at all!! Seemed like they never cleaned it… unbearable. The lady that worked there was extremely full of attitude also. We were telling her how this place smelled extremely bad she ignored us nd picked up a ringing call! Never seen service like this. If you are considering this place please don't choose this one. You'll regret it.
Frank Garrett: Huge menu selection
mustafees khan: Food: I ordered the Lamb madras and this wasn't your conventional lamb curry, it had a very unique twist to it's taste. The Naan was spot on . Rating: 4/5Service: Great service and the staff members were remarkably polite and welcoming. Rating: 5/5Atmosphere: Small restaurant with a tight seating arrangement, however everything is well placed. Rating: 3/5Overall rating: 4/5
Shanza Awais: DO NOT GO THERE. old food warmed up as fresh food. Mix grill was so bad, we left it without eating much. Not sanitary either.
Alexander Miller: Unfortunately the wait times here when picking up have been extremely long each time I’ve visited with little to no communication from the staff and the inside of the restaurant has some cleanliness issues including a strong urine like smell in the dining room.
Karamjit Singh: I order from grub hub I got frozen naanTotally trashBad experience 😡😡😡
Maya Wyatt: Didn't seem to want to seat us but when they did, the napkins and cups were dirty. Ended up ordering takeout...then we spotted a visible can of Raid on the counter. Yikes. For some reason we still decided to try the food and the naan tasted like a crayon. Save yourself the headache and stomachache
