Today is opening day for the Sox, and I may be at work, but me and my buddy will be thinking about our two seats right in the middle of the bar… so yeah- steer clear of this place, especially the two middle seats…

Deb Barach: We stumbled upon this bar while waiting for a table at a local restaurant. The bartender, Bren, was welcoming and friendly with good energy. After attending a concert at Roadrunner, we decided to head back to Whitney's to complete the night. Bren remembered my name when I walked in, and we had the best time. Fun music too!

Douglas Mort: Crazy small bar, allows way too many people in despite post COVID conditions. The selection of beers is basic and unappealing.

Sarah Senkfor: Hosted a birthday party there with ~70 guests in the main stage room and the whole Stage team was amazing!! I used to work in event planning and I’ve dealt with lots of venues, managers, etc. and the stage team was so easy to work with. Very efficient system with wristbands, showings guests to the room, and showing us how to sign up for Karaoke with the DJ I hired from the venue. Manager Duck was so helpful and went out of his way to check on the group and see if we needed anything. Event booking coordinator Nataly was up front about costs, options, and food/bar packages. The entire staff was so lovely and made the party a great experience, especially security guy Abraham! Food and cocktails far exceeded my expectations. Would definitely recommend hosting large or small parties here and will 100% be back to check out the smaller rooms. I can’t say enough good things about their staff and service. Thank you for making my party everything I hoped and more!!

Godfrey Ainooson: Looking for a place to epically destroy/motivate your friends with your rendition of Don't Stop Believin'? Then Stage is the place to go. This karaoke bar is the nicest karaoke spot I've seen in Boston, great for large and small groups, with good equipment, good drinks. And food as well, I think.

Seamus Glynn: Same as it ever was. I have memories of it from 50 years ago. It deserves attention from a historian or a sociologist. It's a window into Central Square's continuity over decades of change.

Sheika Babin: The Cantab Lounge was awesome. It's been a few years since I last patron the lounge but still offers a good experience. My preference is upstairs with the live band. Downstairs is good with the DJ but a younger crowd. Cantab offers something for everyone and a good atmosphere. The mixed drinks are excellent!

Saul Martinez: Need to update music. Good time because of people. We were scheduled to go into the room at 9-11 but another group had our room and we had to wait for them to get out. Got into the room about 9:40 and they didn’t compensate our 40 minutes lost. Rudely came into room and turned on lights at 11 and demanded us to get out due to another group having the reservation. Yet, we didn’t get our two hours of karaoke.

Natasha Richards: Went for my sister's 38th bday and had a blast! Food was good especially the salt and pepper wings and scallion pancakes! The drink selection was nice a few hard liquor options would be nice, but I'm sure they don't want folks liquored up and damaging property. Pretty good music selection once you figure out how to search, but a more updated selection would be awesome! Overall, we had a blast and plan to return!

Albert Lee: The go-to place in Boston for private karaoke rooms with lots of space, snacks, and great atmosphere. I've been to so many friends' birthdays here and we've always had a blast. Good selection of drinks and food, but a little on the pricey side.
