H Mart Cambridge: what do users think?
amanda nicole: i love going to h-mart just makes me sad it’s a big far from where i live !!
Thitiwat Pitayapornchai: Good
Young Suk Chang: 블루베리상자를 집다가 쏟았는데,아주 친절하게 정리해주셨어요.직원들이 친절하며 적극적입니다.재료들 정리와 뷴리가 잘 되어 있어요
Key'Ondra W.: I love the fresh fruit selection as well as the pocky sticks and hi chews. The meat and seafood selection is amazing as well. They also sell some amazing mussels in the frozen food section. Staff is usually always pretty helpful and they have saki too 😊. Don't forget to visit the bakery up front, yummy pastries and coffee (also nom coffee) drinks as well.
Eoin Kenny: It's a nice place and convenient but hilariously overpriced. Go to Chinatown and you'll get the same stuff for 33% less.
JK: I was from out of town and loved this place. I thought the prices were good and the prepared food was excellent. I bought lunch from the grocery here, a small lobster roll and fresh fruit ($17 pretax). I was satisfied with my meal and the supermarket. I also had sushi from the sushi restaurant. All very good. It just seems like a well designed market with high quality.
Joseph Chow: They sell kitchen supplies, housewares at the expanded section, candy, seafood and more. Restrooms are for customer use only.
Vincent: Such a great selection of snacks, drinks and Soju!
John Holland: Good H-mart - be prompt and on time with the instacart orders though...
Wei San Ooi: Always love their seafood section
Brandon Smith: Great experience
Jiahao Wu: High prices
Jonah Goldberg: Awesome experience
Ethan L: (2023 review)Still h Mart sells expired products in canned food and mix powder products areas. The stocking guys are mostly distracted, and there is no real supervision of them. The manager is absent.(2018 review)15-25% more overpriced than Burlington H-mart. The staff are hardly communicative either in Korean or English, and, I learned that the store hires some illegal temp workers, who didn't have any work visa or a foreign student status either when I asked.Issues;(-) selling expired gift sets without disclosing the short shelf life and one day, $30 box full of Korean fruit chamwoe had green mold at the bottom of box. These boxes were not refrigerated and left on the aisle and a staff was mopping the floor wet the fruit boxes, soaked of the soiled water. I stopped him and looked for a manager to put away fruits. When I called to complain to the store manager, he wouldn't acknowledge their poor handling but he insisted seeing the mold and ask to bring them back. But we couldn't as we were in Cape Cod. He did not care about spoiled fruits.I instead suggested sharing a video call or pics to be sent to him, to prove the purchase, but NO, he said, flatly.(-) According to him, we should drive 3 hours to Central square for their neglect, deceit, and wrong-doings.The manager is arrogant and invisible to let this happen many times. When you see this Caucasian guy, bald, glasses, just be prepared to deal with his poor attitude.Indeed, I have reported these issues over the years to HQ in NJ, of the lack of management or absence of his leadership in the store, deceiving and mistreating the customers for years since its opening, the HQ people were equally imbecile as if there was a big puppet master above them who wouldn't let them improve a thing.(-) Other than the issues above, I also urged that kimchi should not be sold as "vegetarian" when it has fermented fish and shrimp juice.(-) Other tradional snack like "yakgwa" (choripdong brand, imported by Seoul trading, fried flour dough dipped in syrup) is, in fact, not sealed properly and shipped from the poor facility in Jongro area in Seoul (I know this derelict poor area of Jongro) and shipped out in cargo ships for months to arrive in NJ and open to the air in the storage rooms in the room temperature and later in the store shelf for up to 2 years of its expiry date - can you imagine how much preservative it must have to stay fresh whether it was sealed or not? Although I reported it 6 months ago, H-mart is still selling it on-line and off-line stores today.H-mart secretively owns Seoul Trading company that imports 5his3poy packaged products.I urged them to look at the product and to stop taking such poor product until the manufacturer changes the foul practice. And for H-mart stores, I urged the stores to set the high standard of the quality of their product, and never cheating with the dlexpiry dates as I believe each H mart with a local white American manager wouldn't do such thing without order from their HQ.I also complained about overcrowding of the aisles with boxes, blocking the customers, during the peak hours, and the store still doesn't have visibly marked escape route signs or they are invisible for fire situations. These are all cincerns to me.These Koreans in HQ didn't know what to say or do although they aggressively opened H-mart stires in every state now. Because of stores like H-mart and Target express, local stores go out of business. We used to have 10+ Korean grocery stores but they are gone. Too concentric. So, I conclude to the fact that local government planning and enforcement is non-existent.All I ask was to have a good conscience and Stop the foul cheating act with food products and train the manager to look closely and listen to the complaints. And, uphold the community. It turned out to be an unnecessary hassle and a waste of my time. I should probably call the board of health and the fire department of Cambridge with pictures next time when I see such foul conditions. They need to learn a lot.
Nick Goharzadeh: Nice store, great selection of produce and seafood
Tatiana Gardner: Love this place!
Chante: Love the atmosphere and the foods they offer, always find gems I can't find anywhere else. The staff are always so nice
Amina Lamouaden: My last visit with my kids there it was so beautiful they liked the rainbow 🌈 💕
C P: Everything you could want and then some. Best around.
Helen Martinez: Muy limpio y organizado el personal muy amable.
Sofia Briskin: Nice place

H Mart Burlington: what do users think?
That's Life: Good grocery store. But, It is dissatisfying that the prices of items are getting higher and higher compared to other stores. Many of the products on sale are past their expiration date.
Allan Konar: A wonderland of pan-Asian food. Yumminess awaits.
M S Khan: Great place to get Fish and other seafood. Crowded over the weekend but staff is friendly and maintains cleanliness.
Shelley Peters: Great selection of Korean foods! You have to get there early to get the good bakery choices though!
Sarah K: My favorite grocery store 100%. There are so many options and I always find something new to try. Also the staff is very kind and helpful. The women in the skincare stores are amazing. They gave my friends and I free samples and were so nice!
Roisin Smith: We need more HMarts!! It is my happy place but I live in CT and closest one to me is in Mass and 1.5 hours away!!! If we had one in my state that would be the only place I would shop!!
Allan Toy: Great prices at this location which is different than the Central Sq. location.
S N: Nice and clean. Price is a little more expensive than other Asian supermarket.
Terry T: Hmart is a huge Asian super-store, specializing in Korean foods but with a good selection of Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian items as well. You have to experience it to appreciate the effort that went into this wonderful store. The seafood section is aromatic, as some reviewers have pointed out rather disdainfully. It reminds me of the markets in Taiwan and other parts of Asia, where real people sell real food. Americans are a bit too used to everything in a sanitary plastic wrap. The meats are somewhat specialized to Korean tastes: pork belly, thick cut bacon, chicken feet, etc. The prices are high compared to a regular supermarket. You can certainly get standard American style meats such as chicken thighs and drumsticks, but you might want to get those at the local Market Basket (just around the corner). There's a huge section of frozen foods, most of which are not obtainable from American supermarkets, such as Japanese natto (fermented soy beans), edamame of multiple varieties (Trader Joe's does carry this, but not the variety), frozen dumplings, wontons, and east Asian specialty foods of every variety. The prepared foods section includes a full wall of kimchi selections, in all sizes and forms. If you like kimchi (or you might want to acquire a taste for it, because it's full of probiotics) you will love this place. Not only cabbage; there's kimchi daikon radish and other vegetables as well. One of my favorites is the sliced stewed tofu which is reasonably priced and goes great on rice. The produce section is large and features a fair selection of Asian vegetables and standard stuff like bananas (also Asian mini bananas), a wide variety of tofu's, some Asian fruits such as Asian pears, dragon fruit, persimmons, Korean purple grapes, durian, etc.The kitchen and home ware section includes Korean-made and China-made dishware, chopsticks, rice makers, woks, and kitchen implements, all tailored somewhat to Korean tastes. I picked up a Korean gas grill and some cylinders, for wok cooking in my electric kitchen. The food court has a wonderful variety. It takes several visits to begin to understand all the cuisine varieties that are available. Some dishes are more expensive than others; unfortunately, prices have been going up, but such is true everywhere. The sushi restaurant also carries a good selection of ramen noodles and rice bowls and if they moved to a separate building, I believe they could stand alone as a popular destination. Other stalls offer bibimbap, pad thai, rice omelets, grilled squid skewers, boba frozen drinks... the woiks.Recently a Korean street-food stall opened up, offering a Korean variation of corndogs and a few other fascinating items. If you are looking for Japanese specialty items, I honestly would recommend Maruichi, a small Japanese grocery store in Arlington, Mass. But for the variety, convenience, and good sit-down dining opportunities (albeit, crowded and you may have to wait for a table at certain times of day), Hmart just can't be beat.
Stella Wasswa: Minority customers are followed by an H-mart staff after paying and then want sometime additional in the store. I felt degraded being followed around by a staff that I ended up leaving the additiongroceries and buying them at a different store.
Vittorio Bucchieri: Great selection of a variety of Asian foods. It reminds me of my shopping experience in Dalian. Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Scott Ross: After experiencing other H-marts I had high hopes for this one. In fact I drove out of my way just to come here. The first thing that struck me was how small it was. But the selection they have is small and sparse. Its a very basic Korean market, Keep your expectations low and you wont be disappointed.
elizabeth rizzo st pierre: The number one place to buy all your ingredients to cook Asian cuisine. I literally spend hours just looking at everything. Never knew there's was so many types of seaweed! I also love all the different types of noodles that they have in stock
Natalia: Good fish department for affordable prices. 👌
Philip Germeys: Big assortiment of Korean & Japanese food
Kendall Bell: Possibly the best Asian market outside of maybe China town.
Mark Smith: The best
Do Yunkyung: They always have everything i need.
Jisun Yang: Parking lot needs some directional changes for better flow of traffics. Items seem to be over-priced even with consideration of inflation.
Megan Kupec: Really cute and expansive Asian market. Delicious bread and food court area right when you walk in. Looks like a wide variety of groceries offered as well!
Wendy Pujols: Super !!!

Cheema Supermarket: what do users think?
Rajiv Kanaujia: I generally go here to buy Chicken Seekh Kebab that is frozen and made locally or from NY.
Ahmad Alaibani:

Nadeem Kasmani: It's ExpensiveIt's lacks qualityPrices are not standardI was very upset after my purchaseWaltham, Revere and Norwood has very good halal shops compared to this.
Om Budhathoki: One of the worst place to buy goat meat in the town!! Last time I brought a goat meat(I thought was a goat meat) about $80, I figured it out was not a goat the meat was female goat meat!! Please do not give them business!! Fraud!! Worst!! Criminal!!

Obadah Aloum: They may be small, but they have everything.
Rabee Jamshed: Amazing hole in the wall shop with a lot of variety (from ready made food to spice mixes for umpteen dishes) from the Middle East, Southeast Asia and some from the UAE. Perfect place to shop when you're in the mood for a shock to the pallet in the form of exotic food!
Aaqib Sohail: Expensive and bad qualityI have been to several halal meat shops in Boston. I know that It’s hard to find good mutton in Boston area. But this store is one of bad ones, they have very often their meat smelly and old. And for sure it is a little expensive than other stores. But obviously it’s a convenient to shop here.

Uday Hanamshet: An ideal place to purchase goat meat and other meat products.

Raheel Shafi: Great place for mostly Pakistani and some Indian groceries. All items are halal: fresh meat, frozen meat products, chapati and naan, masalas, mithai and a lot more.

Hong Kong Supermarket: what do users think?
Elden: Nice
Janine Lin: They fixed their fridge and freezer temperatures! Now the buns and dumplings are buyable. Just need to be cautious if that section of the fridge or freezer temperature is cold enough and the meat or bun looks fresh or frozen individually in the package. They have some nice snack and various Chinese dry goods. Most of the veggies are good. Meats (frozen or refrigerated) are descent. The fruits and fish sections are not quite fresh enough. It’s nice to not having to drive more than 15-20 mins to get Chinese groceries. The parking is a big plus!
E T: Hard to find things and know the price. Closer to my home than my usual Asian supermarket, so it's convenient for getting a few things rather than going into Boston Chinatown
Annop Lins: Various selections, with frequent discounts and promotions.
Colbe M: Huge selection of Asian food, etc.
Chris E: An absolute gem. Best prices on meat and seafood!
Maggie Morio: Love this supermarket. Large variety of fruits and vegetables, especially Chinese greens. Large variety of Oriental noodles, wheat and rice and a whole variety of soy sauce, sesame oil and all the Oriental spices. The prices are very reasonable as well.
Priyanka Pal: Too expensive… for cutlery and stuff. We asked for help to find lotus root but we couldn’t get the help as they didn’t understand English. But we eventually found it.
Hiram Duarte: Even if you are just looking for produce? Go! Stand the test between them and other chain grocery stores. So many different things to choose from and how fresh can fish and crab be? They are still alive!
Ronald Libby: I needed some hard to find ingredients and couldn't find them anywhere else. They had everything I needed in stock and I bought loads of other things. They have a great food court too with amazing food.
Lianbo LI: 太贵了
Sarah Thomson: This place has EVERYTHING. Incredible selection of affordable produce, frozen fish (frozen food in general), fresh meat and snacks. This is my favorite Asian market!
Jake Chvatal: Great Asian food options! Easy to grab some great food from a restaurant's booth while shopping for other groceries. Prices are better than H-Mart too!
Bo Jiang: Google map says it closes at 9pm, not totally right, it stops entering at 8:50pm, it happened to me on Chinese new year Eve. I ended up buying vavoli in Shaw's instead.
shinlin LIN: 蠻好逛的應有盡有很符合台式口味
Hendro Hioe: uhhh I LOVE it here
Eric Wang: The place is unsanitized and sells tons of expired products. We discovered that many of the vegetables are moldy and the fish smells horrible. The cashier was also extremely rude, and we never heard back from our refund request.
Star Blidgen: This is one of the best super 88 markets in Boston fresh fruits foods from all backgrounds in your everyday needs in the heart of Austin Brighton restaurants and more
Purushartha Singh: Pretty much the best Asian supermarket i could find. They have all kinds of groceries, snacks, meats and fishes. They even keep basic utensils and kitchen tools for sale. I have had no issues finding a host of options for basic things from Thai, Chinese or Japanese cuisine even as a person not from those cultures.
Ellen S: The store didn't have what I was looking for and most workers don't speak English , so when you go to the store do a research of what you need and be ready to use phone translation app. I believe in chinese medicine, so , this store looks like a small mecca! Next time I'll go prepared. Don't get me wrong: this store is big, not small. My friend buys there some stuff that helps her family with fighting any flu in a day or so!
Qi Li: Lots of great Asian snacks.
