Sarah Senkfor: Kyle is extremely on top of everything. I’ve had several other landlords in the Boston area who have been fine, but never amazing. My roommate and I have lived in our new place for less than 2 weeks and are already extremely impressed with the communication, speed, and attention to detail from Boston Capital Management. The apartment was professionally cleaned before we moved in (NOT a common feat on 9/1 move in). We put in a maintenance request late last night for a minor dishwasher issue and management has already reached out before 9am today to schedule the repair. I genuinely hope I don’t have to move in the next few years so we can stay with this management company.

Eric Reed: This is the best management experience I have had in the city of Boston. Management is responsive and attentive, and I have never waited longer than a few hours for a reply to my e-mails. Maintenance is typically done within 24 hours and is thorough (as opposed to many of the half-done fixes common to apartments in the city). The apartment itself is clearly well built and well maintained. I would recommend BCM to anyone.
Jessica Rand: I'm going on year 2 of living in an apartment managed by Boston Capital, and I honestly love them. Kyle is always very responsive and helpful with any issues we have. Recently we had an instance of our downstairs male neighbor being creepy and harassing us (there are 4 women in our apartment), and once we brought it up with Kyle, he took action and spoke to the neighbor to make sure they left us alone. As a woman, it always means a lot when a man takes your complaint seriously. I love living at this place and Kyle makes it easy to get things done.

However, I didn’t expect the superlative level of personal attention, individual analysis and knowledge of the local property market, immediacy of response, attention to detail, and personable individuals as I am privileged to work with at Real Property Management/Commonwealth. In my initial research I learned that each office is independently owned and operated, and I knew that would make a difference. I also liked the fact they do not advertise on craigslist. Adrian (Duch): Poor communications with this firm. We used them to rent and manage our condo. We looked for new renters and followed up with the rep whom never gave us updates except the first initial request. Then fast forward 5 months I call them and the lady said she will get back to me but never followed up in 7 days. I call back and the rep said we got dropped and said a mail was sent out. We never received that mail which is why we were inquiring the whole time. We never requested to be dropped.I would heed caution using this property management company.
Elisabeth Burns: I moved across the country for my job and hate burdening friends and family with looking after my condo like I've done numerous times before for vacas and going abroad for weeks with my current job position. I decided to bite the bullet and researched property management companies in the Somerville/Cambridge area.After discussing options with a few, no one really impressed me or made me feel like I was putting my condo in good hands. When I called C Property Management, the owner Pietro scheduled an appointment with me and met me at my property. This wasn't an option with other property management companies I had contacted and was great for schedule since I travel so much. I was immediately impressed by Pietro's knowledge and attention to detail when he examined the condo. He has put me at ease and made leaving the Boston area tremendously easier knowing my property is in good hands.

Garey House: This review has been long overdue! Moved to Cambridge back in 2007 and was scrambling for a place to rent. Skyline was thoughtful and listened to our story. I didn’t have the most stellar references as I was coming from out of state (highest rent I paid was $425) and had no current work (because I just moved). They worked with a local landlord and negotiated a lease. I highly recommend you to talk to Alex and his team when looking for that place to rent or buy. They are still rocking it today with great service.

Richard Coombs: Real estate broker hung up the phone on me during our credit discussions. One of the most unprofessional brokers i have ever dealt with in my entire life. Would never recommend using these guys, terrible rapport and customer service.**Update 7/7/2018**The response to my original review was a blatant lie. So the fact that the owner feels the need to bash me is even more of a reason I would never rent from this company. Bad mouthing potential tenants is very bad customer service and practice altogether. I am now living in a beautiful apartment in Union Square as my credit is not bad and did not require a cosigner of any kind, again a lie put forth by management of this company to make themselves look better. SHAME ON CAMBRIDGE PORTFOLIOS. The brokers are shady and the majority of pictures posted for listings are small and blurry and cannot be seen properly on mobile devices as well as any regular browser on a PC or Mac (Firefox, Safari, Chrome, IE, Opera).Definitely find yourself a better and more professional broker!!
Fabian Scheidt: I got in contact with Robert after finding the apartment online. As an international student I didn't have much time to find an aparment and get the necessary paperwork done. Robert responded super quick, we had a showing on the same day and signed a day later. He made it possible to get me a short term lease and got me in the apartment even before the first payment was cleared. For the short term lease his service was pricy but I couln't be happier with the result.
