Sam Burke: After signing the lease and sending in the realtor fee, the realtor contacted us 5 days after we thought we closed on the rental and told us the owner was not going to rent to us anymore. He never gave us a legitimate reason as to why we lost the apartment. If the realtor was truly representing the owner of the house he should not have accepted our application, sent us the lease and asked for money if he wasn't sure the owner would rent to us. The realtor was very unprofessional and texted me saying I lost the apartment instead of calling me.

When I called her, she pretended that she made a mistake but clearly she just forgot or cannot show up for unknown reason.No wonder the listing price has dropped $55k but still on market after a month. I hope the seller in Belmont could see this post and change to another agency.

I was barricaded into my bedroom by Judy with my dinning room chairs like an animal (while pregnant) because I ask the realtors and guest to leave my apartment while I got dressed from the shower during an open house. In which they threatened to call the police on my husband and I for asking them to leave for 20 minutes. We had to put the chain link on the door for Judy and another realtor to leave our home. If they treat good well paying tenants like this, I could not imagine how they conduct actual business.

There is always better option. Consult with few people before signing with them.Just saying.
