The Cambridge Homes: what do users think?
Catherine Bernier: A great place to have a loved one go to. The Staff are Amazing, Food is good, the atmosphere is Beautiful. I'm a care Taker I've seen alot of them. CAMBRIDGE HOMES, is the Place.
Kent Herbert: My mother has had the great fortune to have resided at The Cambridge Homes for the past 7 years. She and we, her family, have felt so deeply grateful this has been her home these many years. Mom has been so comfortable and at peace in her lovely apartment, as well as in the beautiful Home itself, surrounded by the most exemplary staff. The care she has received has been extraordinary! In the course of these 7 years, her care requirements have changed with the natural progression of age. The Cambridge homes has made seamless changes to accommodate her needs, personally, smoothly and with the utmost loving concern.I live far away, but have been able to visit Mom many times over the years, Staying as a guest in The Cambridge Homes. I feel almost like a family member there! Everyone welcomes me as such! This opportunity has given me a bird's eye view of what the foundation of The Cambridge Homes is built upon and how it operates. One can easily notice that it is a wonderful place to work because the entire staff, in every position from administration, CNAs , reception, cooks,, servers, housekeeping, maintenance and so on, appears to love their job! I feel that the foundation and operation of The Cambridge Homes is built upon genuine warmth, love, concern, and willingness to do everything in their power for their beloved residents.Gratefully submitted byNancy Green Herbert
Nancy Werlin: My uncle, age 90, has been living at The Cambridge Homes for more than a year, and it has made an amazing positive difference in his life. He speaks highly of everyone who works there, feels that it's very well run, and praises the food. Their programs go far beyond the usual bingo and games, and include lectures and concerts. Previously, he was at a different assisted living which he very much disliked, so he has something to compare it to -- and so do I. I couldn't recommend this place more highly.

Neville Place at Fresh Pond, Assisted Living & Compass Memory Support: what do users think?
Arturo: One to 2 hours response time after pressing help button. You can't choose what to eat.You get what they give you.Lots of screaming for help.Foreign care givers are lazy due to their payscale.DON'T SEND YOUR AGING PARENT HERE.
Graham Giese: Having now been living at Neville Place for 6 months, my wife and I want to thank all our friends here - staff, management and residents alike - with whom we share our pleasant home.
Art Az: Rosemary has made a wonderful, remarkable adjustment to living at Neville. The staff has taken extra effort to get to know her better and to make her feel comfortable in her new home. Rosemary has a deep love for children and animals - and very much enjoys their visits. Her talent for art has been unearthed, And she often talks about visits with her friends. All of this adds up to a healthy and happy experience for herlArthur Aznavorian
JAN SHAFER: My mother has been living at Neville for four months and already has made so many new friends! The staff are excellent and do everything they can to make my mother comfortable. My mother loves the food, declaring it to be both healthy and delicious. Our family is delighted my mother is so happy at Neville Place!
Lanna Krik: Father was here for a month or so back in 2018, it was great for recovery. Customer service needs to be better though especially for elder adults. Treat everyone who walks in like it’s your family member or find a new job……
RM Cerv: This is a lovely assisted living community in a historic old building. They have assisted living and memory care run by Senior Living Services.
Martha Williams: We have had a great experience with Neville Place. My dad has been a resident of the Compass memory support wing in November 2019, and my mom moved into a traditional apartment in April 2021. I have found the staff at every level to be caring and responsive. The food is good and the facilities are very nice. I am so appreciative of the quality of life that Neville makes possible for my parents.
Vanessa Vasquez: I am extremely appalled by the choice of staff at this facility. One of the staff posted a video via social media having a grand old time smoking marijuana before her shift. The women continued to record herself intoxicated trying to help a resident get off of her hospital bed, ALL OF THIS IS BEING RECORDED ON SOCIAL MEDIA BY THE WAY! She seemed to be way more interested in recording the resident struggling to get out of bed then doing her job and helping the resident! What happen to patient privacy? Pictures of this women are posted all over the internet not quiet sure how she landed a position with this facility but that behavior should not be tolerated in this environment. How will any family feel comfortable leaving there loved ones with weed smoking CNA's that record themselves on the job! I feel so bad for the resident in the video. Unbelievable !
Patrick Dignan: My mother moved into Neville Place in December of 2015, and lived there until her passing in May, 2018. The staff there are excellent. They treated my mother with love and respect, and are an open book. She was engaged daily, cared for, unafraid, and very comfortable. I do not hesitate to recommend Neville Place Assisted Living.
Anthony Lamacchia: My family's experience with Neville in 2017 for the care of my grandparents was absolutely wonderful. They truly care about their patients and treat them like they are family. From the time my grandparents arrived at Neville to when they past on, I saw the quality of care such a high level, even higher than I hoped for. I strongly and wholeheartedly recommend Neville to anyone needing mursing care for a family member.
Robert Close: A beautiful building and location, right on the nature reserve section of Fresh Pond. Definitely a high-quality establishment.

The Gables at Winchester: what do users think?
Martha Millican: The Gables is a very welcoming community. The care and attention they give to each resident is wonderful. The assimilation of new residents is a success. Bonds with peers along with activities and a skilled staff make this place a gem!
Elizabeth Baratta LMHC: My mom entered Gables a few months before the Pandemic and their staff was and continues to be amazing. Patiently answering all my mom's queries from internet issues to hanging pictures on her wall- they help with everything. My mom acclimated, and is fully engaged with all the social events and sometimes she doesn't have time for our visits! In the pandemic they did an excellent job of keeping residents safe and their hopes up for a better day which is now here! Thank goodness she had these caring group of folks to support her through a very difficult year. Thank you Kristen in particular and all the staff.
Nancy Baratta: The Gables community does a wonderful job of providing compassion care for the residents. My mom moved in in November 2019 and quickly learned what a good decision it was. The staff were wonderful and welcoming to her as she settled in. When the pandemic hit, the staff quickly was able to make all the necessary changes to keep the residents, their families and staff safe. My family is so appreciative of the care and support my mother and each resident receives.
Clara Leo: This has been a long and fearful year with the pandemic and unrest. I thank my stars for having chosen The Gables for my home at this time, they have been unfailing in keeping us well and secure in these hectic times. The future is improving as we will be receiving our vaccine on the 29th. May we see a new light by spring. Stay well. Thanks again to The Gables.
Caitlin McCarthy: Moving during the Covid pandemic was scary and not ideal but the Gables helped ease all of our fears. The staff at the Gables made my father feel welcomed, cared for, and most importantly at home. Communication is always open and they are always receptive to families concerns. Thank you to all the staff at the Gables!
Betsy Steers: Gables review 10/20/2020My mother’s move to the Gables has been a huge success. She has lived here for about a year and half. Both my mother and her daughters feel safe knowing she is in such good care. She was reluctant about making this move - but the hotel like atmosphere with opportunities to see and get to know other residents has been a positive addition to her life. Along with having a lovely apartment and so many meals offered. The community atmosphere has allowed her to feel connected. Her daughters all live out of state - but know that the staff is a phone call away. We were able to experience all the positives of the Gables when my mom took a fall in her apartment and returned from rehab. The staff was excellent at the transition of returning to her apartment and providing the proper supports for her to become a independent resident again. After moving here she is now is able to navigate all the Gables has to offer with a walker along with getting some exercise. In terms of Covid - the Gables has kept the residents protected while allowing them to visit outside with the right distancing. They have kept the families informed with timely E-Mails.The Gables has offered us everything promised plus more. We are very satisfied with our choice.
Donna Natale: My mother has been a resident of The Gables at Winchester for two and a half years. I feel it is important to say how thankful we are for the staff, especially during this time with Covid Virus. We want to express our sincere appreciation to ALL the staff for what they have done to make The Gables a safe, healthy and caring home for our mother and all the residents, during these uncharted times. It is amazing to continually watch how the staff is working so diligently, to maintain a healthy community for all. It has not been an easy job and they all seem to do it with a smile!!!! I've witnessed many acts of kindness, such as Alexis making masks for all the residents, Kristen staying outside in the heat, so she can keep help the residents and guests maintain their 6 feet apart and keep their masks on, Debbie and the activity staff bringing water, ice cream and treats to residents outside, staff bringing supplies up to resident apartments that have been delivered, and staff walking in and out from their shifts happily taking time to talk to the residents and guests. I know there are many more "over and above" acts of kindness going on inside the building, but we have not been permitted inside, just yet......safety first!!!!!Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all you do.......YOU ARE ALL HEROS!!!!!!!!!!
Nancy Cullen: My Dad moved into The Gables this past year. It was a difficult choice for him to move out of his home. We had many meetings with Kristen Woulfe. She was so kind and patient with my Dad and so understanding when she had to answer at least a hundred questions from my sister and I. He is an independent person and lives his life his way, so he wanted to be sure that he could continue doing that at The Gables. He does just that. He loves the unit he is in, especially the fact that he controls the heat and the AC. The staff is wonderful here. Kristen Woulfe continues to reach out to Dad. She is engaging and genuinely kind. All the employees we have come in contact with in Reception, Dining, Housekeeping and Maintenance are so friendly and always ready to help. Dad does not need assistance so we have no experience with the health care staff. I have observed them in the hallways and elevators, however, and have been very impressed with how they engage with their clients, always with a smile. I would strongly recommend The Gables. Be sure to ask the questions that are most important to your loved one. Everyone is so different.
Cathi Gordon: It was such a difficult decision/time for my family to finally move my mom from another state to assisted living. The moment I met Kristen Wolfe and saw the apartment at The Gables, I knew my mother would be happy. The place is great... it offers so much... meals, activities, it very clean and well run. My mom took a while to adjust, but now that she has, she’s doing great. And for me, the peace of mind I have is priceless. This has been the right move for my mom, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the services that she receives there. They are really great and I highly recommend The Gables.
Henri S: The management team is very professional and always there to support our team. The environment is warm and the staff are all fantastic!
Shawn Wilson: My Father and Mother in law both live at The Gables! They have been there for the past few years. It is a fantastic place! The staff take great care of them, always addressing them by their names.Charlene, the director, is very assessable and helpful! Cindy, the Head Nurse, is fantastic with my father! He adores her! Rita, at the front desk, is always helpful for when I need someone to check on my father or his tv remote!!It has a great family atmosphere and I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a place for their loved ones.
Kristian Stoltenberg: My sister has lived at the Gables for the past 10 months and I have found the facility to be a caring and supportive place for her needs. She has mobility issues and has fallen on occasion. The staff has always been accommodative and sensitive to her needs. We receive a phone call whenever she has had a fall and in every instance she has been uninjured but it is reassuring to know that someone has been available to respond and help her. She needs and receives Physical Therapy several times during the week and the PT staff takes personal interest in my sister and makes her feel very comfortable and welcomed. The fulltime nurse on staff has been helpful in evaluating my sister's needs and listens to our concerns in a caring and professional manner. Finally the dining room staff is very personable and greets my sister by name and gives her a laugh once in a while. In summary I am thankful that my sister has adjusted very well at the Gables and the entire staff was helpful in that regard. She is very dependent upon their services and it gives her extended family peace of mind to have her there.
Sam Ibrahim: this place is like a happy resort . Marion Borges , Charlene Borthwick and Cindy Allard are some of the staff that worked hard on making tings comfortable . the unites are modern and clean , the grounds are meticulous , end the dining room is like a regular restaurant ...the staff is very kind , there really is no flows in this place. i would highly recommend it to anyone who needs to be in an assisted living and not want to be treated like a number.
Terry Marotta: We could not have been made to feel more welcome as we brought our dear friend Lois to visit. And how utterly wonderful everyone was, Shane Thomas and Cindy Allard as we moved toward the great day of her arriving to take up residency here!
William Marcy: My mother moved to the Gables approximately 1 year ago. The facility is amazing.  The staff members are warm, friendly, engaging, caring, and FUN. I know mom feels that the hospitality and service are excellent and the people working at the residence truly care about her. The entertainment is abundant - from a saxophone player to a Broadway baritone to glamour shots - there is always something fun going on at the Gables or out in the community.  The on-staff activities people make an effort to reach out which is so important. The on-site physical therapy staff make what could seem like work - a good time. This is such an important activity for mom and they make her want to do it. Having them right there makes life so much easier for mom (as does having the beauty salon on site). Also having people come weekly to change the linens and clean is such a blessing for seniors. Overall the facility is beautifully kept, light, bright, and clean. The atmosphere at the Gables is stimulating, uplifting, and enjoyable.  Some residents needed more assistance than mom.  It was reassuring to me to see that kind of assistance is available should the need arise. The morning wellbeing checks are very assuring to our family - knowing that each day a staff member calls or visits to confirm the residents are all set. Aides and nursing staff seemed very helpful and professional.I am so comfortable knowing mom is in such a wonderful place with a staff that truly seems to care about her wellbeing and happiness.Dale Marcy
Sheila M Doherty: What a jewel In The Winchester area. After looking at a number of facilities I was so very impressed by the friendly and professional staff from the very first call. The residents were strikingly friendly and welcoming. All our questions answered and responded to promptly. FRom the manager to the aids absolutely first class!!! I will end with this experience, we were with our relative her first day in the dining room and overheard the dining manager answer a question from a resident who asked if he needed to hurry and eat before the dining room closed, "John, this is your home, you stay as long as you want to here in the dining room" how much better does that get!!
Al DeLucia: The staff at the Gables have been great to my mother as well as my family. The support, compassion ,an understanding has been above and beyond any expectations we had...A special thanks go out to Shane and Charlene for all there help....After researching all the assisted living establishments in the area, take my word for it. The Gables is by far the best...Al DeLucia
Karen Poggi: My Mom has lived here a year and we both love it. The people are nice, the activities are fun and the food is good. She's very happy here and always has support if she needs it. The staff goes above and beyond. The atmosphere is bright and spacious, and the apartments are great.
Interim HealthCare of Lexington MA: What a place to be, Five Star living for Seniors it is! Interim HealthCare was proud to represent India at International Festival on going at The Gables at Winchester. Wonderful caring Management, Seniors living there seem to have fun, enjoying the activities living at the comfort of their own home. Thank you for giving us an opportunity to service you.

Youville Place: what do users think?
Devils Deck Of Cards: Misogynistic managers, understaffed but also purposefully and knowledgeably leaving one staff on shift, overworking the staff they do have, which includes some people older than 60 who shouldn’t be made to work 12 hours or more straight.DO NOT WORK HERE
Nicole Lynch: All of the staff are warm and welcoming which truly gives this place a home-like environment. The facility is incredibly clean, and the company continues to follow all of the CDC protocols for COVID perfectly. I love that they are still taking everyone’s temperature before allowing visitors to enter the building.
Julie Daniels: Understaffed, residents understimulated, part time director and head nurse. Way behind with technology. Just terrible. Do not put your loved one there.
Taylor Bowne: My Grandmother (who raised me so shes my Mom really) has lived hetr for a little over two years. The staff is great and the plave is maintained very well.

The Linden at Dedham: what do users think?
sindy belizaire: Very clean and the residents are pleasant and upbeat. The staffs are incredible as well.
George Hanson: My mother came to the Linden following rehab for an injury. The staff is friendly and caring, they have great activities, and my mom enjoyed the food, I have slept better at night knowing she's in a safe and caring community.
roy robblee: I'd give more stars than 5 if I could!!!The staff in the Opal Memory Care facility at the Linden are wonderful in all areas. Last week, my wife, who is a patient, had visits from 3 separate groups of people. They ALL contacted me afterwards and told me how impressed they were with the care, compassion and love that the staff gives to the patients. They also commented on how nicely the facility was maintained and how CLEAN everything is.
Susan Barkan: The Linden at Dedham took wonderful care of our mom and allowed her to have a homey, nurturing, fun, and supportive community surrounding her in the last chapter of her life. We are so grateful for the support and love they showed to us/her family as well during this important time of life.
Martha T.: A Hidden Gem!The Linden is a Hidden Gem! It is thoroughly clean & tidy. The staff are incredibly caring and compassionate. I give a shout out to all staff -- administrative, front desk, housekeeping, facilities, dining services. It is evident the staff are happy & work well as a team. Having to suddenly make life changes for a loved one is very distressing, but I could not have asked for a more understanding and supportive team to work with than Donna, Mike, Elaine, & Danielle. They were instrumental in getting my brother settled into a suitable apartment for his needs and appropriate level of care services. The location is serene, surrounded by trees and woods in the distance where one may see a deer or fox on occasion. The Linden is a fabulous community.
Lexa Iantuono Sullivan: The staff at Linden truly care for their residents. We have seen first hand their kindness and compassion with my mother in law. Our family knows she is safe and well-taken care of. The staff is easily accessible and available. The Linden does an excellent job communicating, which is especially important give the uncertainty of these times. I want to thank Heather who is charge of the Opal Unit. She's always positive, helpful and genuinely cares about the residents. Elaine, one if the nurses, has also been extremely helpful. The place is clean, residents are given many food options and there are a lot of programs to engage residents. My family is extremely pleased with the Linden.
Karen M.: The Linden is a remarkable place. The staff is professional and knowledgeable and goes above and beyond to make residents feel at home and happy. Such wonderful, caring people who love making a difference in elder's lives. The facility is beautiful, clean, modern and set up for a great community living experience for their residents. We are so pleased that our Dad can be spending time in such a lovely place.
Sofia Glass: This place, Assisted Living, is amazing. Employees are very knowledgeable and friendly. I 'd recommend to those following this lifestyle, The Linden at Dedham.
Nicole Cummings: Our Dad has been living at The Linden at Dedham a for little over a year and he recently transitioned to the Memory care unit. We have been so pleased with the loving care he has received every step of the way. The nurses and staff are genuinely caring and help him have the lifestyle and experience that fit his needs and personality. The building and grounds are very well maintained. It is a beautiful home for him now that he needs extra care. I can not say enough about the support he (and we) receive.
Maureen Masters: I've lots of personal family experience with nursing homes, assisted living and the diagnosis of dementia. The Linden at Dedham is very good. My family member has resided there for almost 1 year. The leadership team at Linden is excellent.Covid has been extremely difficult for all of us. Whether it was at work, at home trying to educate our children or caring for our parents or grandparents. My family member has been married 63 years and never have they been apart for such a long period of time. Linden has done tremendous job managing the clinical side of Covid but also being transparent with communication and working with families to avoid contact, because that is the right thing to do and exceeding expectations to provide family members alternate methods to communicate.Heather the Manager for the memory care unit is compassionate, thoughtful and shares really nice ideas on how to make our family member feel connected without having contact. In the middle of the Covid surge, for my family member's birthday, she went above and beyond, on her day off, to coordinate the celebration and worked with the staff so my family member could open gifts via facetime with her family, playing videos we created and decorating her room. I genuinely believe my family member thought we were all sitting in the same room. It was fantastic.Elaine, the Nurse Manager, is always quick to respond to questions and provide follow up. I have been impressed with the nurses. Specifically,. LaDonna is kind, genuinely cares for each resident and is so good about reporting her concerns or needs of a family member.Danielle, the Director of the Facility, is responsive, takes feedback seriously and will promptly address concerns. The memory care has excellent program coordinators. Ashley and Nicole are energetic and work to keep the residents happy and involved in activities. Sometimes my family member just needs "some time" and they will just sit, rub her back and share stories. These moments cannot be underestimated on the importance of caring for someone with end stage dementia,Overall the nursing assistants are good. Some are outstanding, I am sorry, I don't know all their names. My family member lived in the same home for almost 65 years, she was "never going to leave". When dementia took it's grip and we had to seek 24 hour care I never thought she could adjust to calling Linden home. After a day out and having dinner with the family, when I bring her back, the nursing assistants will greet her. Most often, my family member will greet the assistant with the biggest smile and hug! Now, these individuals are like family to her. That's when I know it is ok!For any family who is going through the very difficult journey of looking for alternative care for your loved one, I would not hesitate to recommend Linden. No facility will ever be good enough for a loved one, but sometimes we have to make difficult decisions. You can be assured that Linden at Dedham is an excellent option.
Alexandra Alexopoulos: The staff at The Linden are wonderful and loving people. They make it a true community. Clean, Lots of activity and quiet time if you want. The facility is very clean, modern and feels like a hotel. You will not be disappointed.
Maryann Santisi: My mother has been there for several years and loves if. Keeps her social and honestly alive. We brought her home for several months and found she spent 16 hours per day in front of the television, sleeping and just downright depressed. Now she goes and goes and goes - walker and all. If she watches an hour of television a day, it is a lot. She is turning 90 in May and very happy. They go on field trips, have daily exercise classes, play bingo and other games, wine and cheese and entertainment. Her life is full and she is thoroughly cared for. Excellent facility and staff. couldn’t be more pleased.
Jessica Arber: Heather, the Resident Program Supervisor contacted our corporate wellness company to come on-site and provide chair massages to residents. We could tell from the get-go that the team at The Linden goes above and beyond to create a wonderful environment for their residents. Our massage therapist had a blast working with the group and Heather reported that all the residents had big smiles on their face after the massages!
Olivia Walker: The Linden At Dedham is great- my uncle loves the food and it’s very clean!! Steve, the sales associate helped welcome my uncle. He was super helpful and responsive. He also brings his little French bulldog puppy and everyone at the residence loves to pet her! (She’s a certified therapy dog, very kind) Highly recommend residence and highly recommend asking for Steve! Thanks 🙏
Brian Walker: Very pleased with the tidiness of the facilities, staff is professional and attentive.
Gemma Verdelli: It was a hard decision to put our grandmother into an assisted living community, but I am SO glad we found The Linden At Dedham. The facility is always extremely clean and you can tell the staff take pride in making sure the residents are happy and engaged in daily activities. Steve, our salesman, was so patient and kind, answering all of our questions. He went above and beyond to make sure we felt comfortable choosing The Linden at Dedham. Thank you all!!
Ikigai Collection: We have a great Aunt here and she is always actively engaged and has not had any complaints whatsoever. She always go on and on about what she has been up to. We are happy she is busy and not bored or purposeless. She has a lot of friends and this has been an A+ experience for both her and my family. We highly recommend the Linden at Dedham.
Heather Payne: Working at The Linden at Dedham was the best decision I have ever made. The atmosphere is so welcoming and the residents are amazing. I love going to work everyday and putting a smile on their faces!
Kelly Maker: I teach a art class here at The Linden at Dedham twice a month. The staff is so caring and the place always looks clean and professional! The outings seem like a blast and the residents always come down smiling! Great place to work for and seems like an even better place to live!
Donna Folsom: The Linen is the best....so caring about my mom. She has had a lot of medical needs lately and they have totally stepped up to the plate. She is again thriving in this supportive environment.
Patrick Macdonald: I taught CPR at The Linden at Dedham. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the community and even more impressed with the staff. All the staff I encountered and taught were professional and engaged. It was also really great getting to see the seniors that lived there smiling and doing all different activities.
