Jimmy's Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Ryan Valentine: Had a full resole done on a pair of *abused* Allen Edmonds Higgins Mill boots, plus a reglue of a portion of the outsole on a pair of White's Semi-Dress boots.Excellent work on both!
Zoe Dickerson: I just had a $700 pair of boots resoled here, and they look brand new. I haven't had the chance to wear them out yet, but the quality of the work looks great. It cost me $60 for the new soles, and they look like they'll hold up for years to come.
Daniel: Friendly folks and impressive handiwork.Be aware it's cash only.
Gabriel Szuma: Beyond expectations! I brought in my 5 year old cap toe dress shoes for sole and heel repair. I've been using them mostly on a daily basis for work. What I got back is a pair of almost brand new shoes, beautifully restored. Made my day, will come back! Thank you
Stephanie: My leather Blundstones boots looked scuffed so I brought them in to be polished. The owner explained how to clean and polish them myself, but I opted to have it done by professionals. My boots were ready in less than 24 hours and look super nice and shiny! I’m recommending this place to anyone I know!
Rajat Narula: My dad and I got 3 shoes fixed here. My 6 yo C&Js feel brand new after Jimmy's work. 1 week turn around and fair prices charged. Will be back!
Michael T.: The store has history and knowledgable , great staff!
Bri Kaler: Great work and great service!
Gavin Kleespies: Great independent shop.
Carl Crupi: Did what I asked at a great price. Resoled and tuned my work boots up. Bringing another pair there after the new year.
Julio Rivera: Positive:Professionalism,QualityI had velcro on a leather strap that needed to be replaced. I took it here because of all the good reviews and the service was excellent and the work was fantastic
Joshua Murray: Critical:QualityPaid over 100 dollars to have my hiking boots resoled. Sole fell off after 3 days of walking. Had to glue them back on myself.
Karen Judd: Great repairs done to 2 carry-on bags.He even reinforced ALL 4 of the handle attachment leather pieces for me - not just the ripped one, because I had to wait an extra day to get my bag. GREAT Customer Service!I will DEFINITELY return if future repairs needed on any other belongings !Great work by Nice people!!
Hyewon Han: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueCame in with a pair of sandals that needed to have the straps shortened and re-holed. Jimmy's Shoe Repair made sure to measure both sides and had them done in a week. Prices are very fair and they have the cutest dogs, Oli and Kitana :)
Christian Say: Jimmy's is fantastic. Top notch cobbler with great service! They've re-heeled nice dress shoes, and recently I had them install sole guards and flush-mounted metal toe taps on a pair of shell cordovan Aldens, and they did an amazing job. Highly recommend!
Momo L (Momo): Positive:ResponsivenessI called with an oddball request and was given a really great answer and a solution at great price. I would recommend using this business if for no other reason than they were just super helpful!
David Lyon & Patricia Harris: Great craftsmanship, friendly family guy
Kathryn Garbuzinski: My leather purse, which is a very particular shade of pink, got scraped against cement. I dropped it off one Saturday, picked it up the next, and it looks great!! Only noticeable if you're close to it and looking for it or know it's there. Incredible job, great price, and great service.
Douglas Baumgartner: Great work and very affordable.
Andre DeGroot: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueHigh quality, prompt work at a great price. I will definitely be back!
Mark: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueExtremely quick, quality, and friendly service. Be sure to bring cash though because at the time of this review only cash is accepted.

Felix Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Anna Kapustina: I'm a photographer from New York and was fascinated by the place and the friendliness of the shoe master. It inspired me to take a stylized picture, because really this man is a witness of the century. Appreciate him those who can use his services.
Ashley Gehsmann: Kind, efficient, responsible. Altered a belt perfectly according to my fit. Thanks Felix!
Tom O'Hara: Christos is incredible. He re-soled two pairs of loafers for me and they are absolutely perfect. I would recommend him to anyone!
Caroline Sherman: Heard a lovely story about the generosity of the proprietor to an undergraduate who didn’t have the money in hand to pay at the time they picked up their shoes. Heartwarming!!!
Cole Townsend: Felix basically rebuilt my loafers and they look fantastic. Wasn’t cheap but I got an entirely new sole and he made the uppers look as good as they could have.
Samantha Carrillo: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueLovely man! Awesome, quick service for more than fair prices. He fixed my favorite boots in the world.
Merlene Merlene: Felix went out of his way to show me how to flatten a piece of leather so I could restring my purse with a drawstring. He even suggested that I look at hone for some leather balm before buying a new bottle from him. I recognized the shop’s facade is being Art Nouveau in design, and that I had not seen this style since I was in Paris. He told me that it was shipped over from France at the turn of the century.
Hari Pillai: I had my leather jacket repaired, and Felix did an amazing job. I was very surprised that he also makes custom-made belts, and I am going to take him up on this in the future. I think some of his capabilities in repairing, restoring, and enhancing leather products such as high and boots, and I am amazed at his capabilities.
Hamida Achour: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThe owner is incredibly nice and knowledgeable!
Jøhnny Evil: The owner here is top notch. You come here and are treated like an old friend. He is honest, up front and does AMAZING work. Replaced a zipper line on expensive custom boots that I was told by others would be difficult to replace and still look good... and Felix does it with perfection. I can't even tell the difference. THANK YOU FELIX!
Carlton Buscemi: The owner of this small, artisanal shop makes shoe care and knowledge easy. Careful or you may make a friend here.
kyla deni: Positive:Quality
Sarah Ferguson: Such a great shop! I had a pair of boots with salt damage, and the owner walked me through my options for repair. I didn’t realize the place was cash only and didn’t have enough cash, so the owner offered to let me take home the supplies I needed to clean my boots and to return with the cash when I could. Such great customer service!!
Jazz1: The owner is and services are fabulous! He made a leather belt for me is a few minutes a couple of years ago. I dropped in on the shop a week ago and the owner gave me a hearty welcome. This guy is “the heart of Harvard Square”. He deserves your business.
Susan Doll: The owner is great. He does a terrific job.
Kevin Ventullo: I had a 6-year-old leather laptop bag that, due to how I carry it, was developing a pretty sizeable hole in one of the corners (you could probably push a baseball through it). He fixed it right up and it's functionally good as new. No "before" pictures, but here you can compare the repaired corner with the relatively unaffected corner. Pretty much the same!
Colin: this guy cares about your shoes as much as you do. Felix is the best
Dr. Adele Diamond: Felix is the BEST and HAS been the BEST for over 30 years when I started going to him when he was near Porter Square and I was a grad student. Superb workmanship. Wonderful human being.
Andrea: Came here after this horrible place Cambridge shoe repair - so much better. Yes a bit more expensive but at least the guy will do a beautiful job on time as opposed to first delay your delivery and then lose your shoes ...
Scott Campbell: Not inexpensive but all work is done with pride. He’s rescued several pairs of shoes for me.
ANA O: Brought 2 pairs of shoes to stretch. $25 per pair? Its crazy!

Cambridge Shoe & Luggage Repair: what do users think?
Eli Saltzman: Did a free zipper repair because it only took a few minutes!
Susan Villani: I have been a customer for a long time.I asked if a squeak in a shoe could be fixed, and they said yes and took the shoe. I paid $15 for its repair, and when I got home and wore it, the sole totally separated from the shoe on the first day, rendering it unwearable. I asked for a credit for another repair, if not the refund that I paid, and was denied both.
Al Khalil: Before and after. One week turnaround for re-soling, conditioning and shine. Cheapest price, fastest service I could find anywhere and I called everywhere. Extremely happy with the results. This is your place.
Sharie Camren: This place is the best of the best!
judith motzkin: Overnight repair of shoe, a purse and a jacket for a very reasonable price.
An C.: Excellent value with great service! The cobbler was able to repair my old leather boots and make them nearly as good as new, many thanks!
Dimitris Mylonas: You can rely on them to tell you whether is worth fixing it or not.
Naomi Arenberg: Great service and excellent prices,
Jennifer Winifred Trimble: If you need ANYTHING done for boots or shoes, this is the place to go!!!!! The customer service and turnaround time is great. The owner does the work himself and take the time and care to ensure quality craftsmanship.
Matt Slaughter-Katz (ledfox): Fast and professional service! Don't throw your shoes away - shoe repair is the green way to go.
Javon Goncalves: Went in to get some leather gloves sewn up, great service and good prices! Would highly recommend.
Alex Reiss Sorokin: Simply fantastic!
Marcia Walsh: Jacob is very nice and very professional. His repairs on shoes, boots and luggage are both impeccable and reasonable. Because his shop is run without computers, it may take him a few tries to locate your item but don't despair, he will find them and it will be well worth it! He replaced the lining on a leather tote bag for me and it is gorgeous!
Andrea: Never returning here once I finally get my shoes back
Mina Soltangheis: He was very kind and the results were amazing. My shoes look better than new and he did a great job fixing them and the price was fair. He even showed me and my friend how to use the machines in the shop for a brief second. Strongly recommend this place
Shirley Sosa: Instant shoe repair on Uggs! Happy!
Brianna Sullivan: Love this place! They've brought back my favorite pair of boots from near death twice, including a zipper replacement that I thought was impossible. I've also had them stretch a pair slippers up a half size so they would fit and do minor scuff repaids. Reasonably priced for the great job they do. Sometimes the wait to get your shoes back can be a little long (1 week+), but well worth it in my opinion.
Edward Li: Did not have the shoes repaired at the promised date. Also tried to give me someone else's shoes several times before finally finding mine. One pair of dress shoes had scruffs on it that were not repaired but instead spray painted over with a color that did not even come close to the original. Applied cheap polish to the other pair without attempting to remove the salt stains first.

Peter’s Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Christine Oulton: They can help you keep your shoes and boots for much longer. Don’t throw away - repair!!
Brooks Firth Bard: My Lo & Sons bag shoulder strap snapped so I took it here. I was prepared to live without it for weeks and for it to cost half of what a new bag would cost. No way. I got it back in 2 days and it was inexpensive. When I returned, he didn’t even need my ticket, he remembered me and brought my bag out right away. So friendly and great work, the leather work on the straps looks great. Accepts cash and Venmo only.
Travis Stillings: I'm a Bellman at a five-star hotel in Boston. Part of my job is shining and polishing shoes and had a mishap with a polish on a guest one of a kind handmade shoe. And this is Sunday 11/21/21 no other place in Boston was open. I googled it and the only place open was Peter's out in Belmont, Mass. He's did the best he could with what happened. For any shoe repair emergencies and non emergencies on a Sunday he's open till 2pm or any other day that you may need this is the place to go he's been doing this for years. And I can't thank him enough for helping me out with the situation that hopefully, with fingers crossed turns out very well. Peter thank you again!
Renee Dunn: Wonderful job, wonderful service great price. My new go to place for shoe repairs etc. Pete is a lovely man.
Wei Liu: Positive:Quality,Responsiveness,ValueSo lucky to have this store in my town. The nice lady fixed my favorite but very worn down boots in one day with very reasonable price. They are beautifully done. I also got a pair of leather boots from the store. The lady was very warm and friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to save their favorite shoes!
MAXIMUS RIVADENEIRA: Great work

Cobbler Shop: what do users think?
Linda D.: He's a true artist! I love his work. Exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Since I've found him, I'll go nowhere else, and it takes me about 25 minutes to drive there. It's worth the trip.
Lillian Audette: Done in less than a week, good work, would recommend
Miles Fidelman: Always a good job, a good price, a friendly proprietor.
Maria Riefstahl: Positive:Professionalism,QualityThe guy is by far the best cobbler i have ever used, and i have tried many over the years. He put tips on my shoes and you can't even tell where they are glued. Beautiful job.
trinitylancer: I had a sneaker repaired there, left it on a Monday picked it up on a Thursday morning and he did a wonderful job. I have a bunion on my right foot and what happens is that over the course of 3 to 4 months the material favoring that side of my foot separates allowing water to seep in even if walking across a dewy lawn. The repair was great, the thread he used was a better grade than the original. He saved half of a $170 pair of sneakers for $15. I'll be taking future sneaker issues as described above back to The Cobbler Shop for sure. Again if for any reason material has pulled apart from a sneaker that had been originally sewed in place, The Cobbler Shop can repair it.
Victoria: Nicest man I’ve ever met. Really quick and lovely service.
Derrick Alfama: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueAmazing craftsmanship! These guys are great at what they do and treat your shoes with great as if it were there own. Much appreciated for bringing one of my favorite shoes back to life and making them wearable again.
Helen Goltsos: Positive:Quality,Value
L S: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueGreat service, very professional!! Would give actually 5+ star!!!!
Nicole Newman: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueFabulous service and such a lovely owner. I’ll never bring my shoes (or my kids’ shoes) anywhere else. Truly a gem in every way!
Mark Chambers: Positive:ProfessionalismGreat Service, had to have my engineer boots repaired did a great job.
Kathryn Kelley: What can I say? Excellent service, happy customer, definitely coming back. After 97 years in business, they have definitely earned the title of Master Shoe Repairers. A partial list of services includes overnight shoe service, orthopedics, handbag, zipper and leather repairs, shoes shined, shoes dyed, Rockports/Vibram Siles/Heels and Birkenstock repair. They are an Authorized Airline Luggage Repair Center. They do it all.
Josh Meagher: Not cheap, but fantastic work. If you’re willing to pay a little extra for a great job this is the place to go. Will be returning for more work in the future.
Antonia Lopez: This place is the BEST! I used to travel to Massachusetts almost quarterly for work and at least once per year I'd take an extra suitcase with shoes that needed some love. The Cobbler Shop put so much care into revitalizing my shoes. I no longer travel to Massachusetts and my shoes totally look it...If you are like me and want to extend the life of your shoes because you love how they look and make you feel or, also like me, love the Earth deeply and want to lessen the amount of waste out there, go to the Cobbler Shop.
Jillian Rollock: Great job putting rubber soles on my father’s western boots.
Mayrah Udvardi: I am incredibly satisfied with the work Larry did on my Birkenstocks for a very reasonable price. I dropped my shoes off at 11:30 am and they were done two hours later. Larry also gave me some cork primer to apply later on when my Birks start to show more wear and tear. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Larry! Highly recommend.
Mike P: Far pricing and pleasure to work with. Great knowledge and work!
Rick Johnson: Top notch work fast and efficient without breaking the bank.

Pelham Shoe Repair: what do users think?
DavidR: Great shop! Great folks!
Laura Bortolin: This is a lovely establishment. Husband and wife team running the show. I came in, asking for a zipper replacement for my boots - the kind gentleman behind the counter said "no, that would cost too much, I can hand-sew the zipper and it'll be fixed". Honesty! Thank you! I wish I had found this place sooner! I'll definitely be coming back and you should visit them too! :)
ido keren: I came to ask for a shoe repair. It is an old School place, only cash or personal check. The guy seems to know what he is doing.
Phylly Goodman: Expert repairs. Richard always knows what to do.
oakbluffs road: I was very pleased with their work. I wish I thought of coming here sooner. The only thing that can be a little inconvenient is that they only take cash and checks. It would be helpful to have a visible sign posted to alert customers of this.
Lindsay O'Donovan: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI have been going there for years- they are true artists at shoe repair/safety(he has put SAFE heels on my boots) and they really help you keep your shoes and not have to put them in a landfill!!!! Worth the drive if you are not local(I am) BUT would drive to this place from anywhere
annette jacobs: This is the best shoe, luggage, handbag, briefcase repair shop in close in Western 'burbs. Incredibly knowledgeable and friendly.
Eleanor Friedman: Nice work
Steven Pilis: Let me preface by saying I NEVER write online reviews for anything. I had been putting off finding a cobbler for a while, but was very happy I eventually settled on Pelham Shoe Repair. I've had these LL Bean service boots by Chippewa for about 3 years now. After buying them, I learned that this particular boot was notorious for the toe caps coming unstitched. Sure enough, after about a year, the right toe cap needed to be fixed. I brought it to a cobbler in the South End that kind of butchered the repair, which made me nervous for anything in the future. Fast forward, eventually both toe caps came unstitched (again), the sole was beginning to split, and the boot itself was separating from the sole (I included one terribly cropped picture of the boot before). I finally brought them to Pelham. I went over everything with the gentleman that owned the shop, he was super nice, and very confidently told me, "I can fix anything." I was looking for something with a little better grip, so he recommended the Vibram lug sole. I was amazed when I got them back, the toe caps look as close to new as can be, the sole is great, and the welt job was fantastic. He also cleaned and oiled them, which was awesome. It all cost $125, which is very fair for all of the above, especially to extend the life of these boots. Definitely recommend.
Brian Surkan: I have visited Pelham Shoe Repair twice and appreciate the candor. It is not inexpensive and only takes cash, but at least they provide clear assessments of the work.
Sabrina Lou: Expensive but cheaper than a new pair of Italian shoes. Very efficient and straightforward with price. I trust them with the initial quote and even more with the consistent exquisite work. The new soles will guarantee to last another five years at the least, so the price is worth it.
Madeline Paredes Price: One of my co-workers brought by boots to have repairs to fix the sole and they did a wonderful job. The boots look like brand new. Thank you
Shaw Miller: Family-owned shoe repair business that's also very capable of repairing luggage or jacket zippers. Always easy to work with, timely service, and fair prices.
Brendan Mello: Initially rated 1 star after a botch repair. I'm willing to raise to 3 because they were nice and they fixed the mistake for free next day. Still, it shouldn't have been botched. It was a simple heel replacement on my boots but they peeled after 3 hours wear. I didn't look before putting them on, but they were probably not even properly secured in the first place. The re-repair is better but it still just looks really sloppy and I don't really expect it to hold long.
Lory-San Clark: This man is an artist. He has been re-souling (soles), re-healing (heels) my shoes for years. He brings back to life what may seem lost!! I will follow this family owned business anywhere!! And he has a gum drop jar always half full for my enjoyment 🤗😋!!!
Miguel Contessi: Excellent work on my shoes and great customer service.
Michael Lourie: These guys are great! They honestly make old shoes look like they're brand new. They are also affordable, professional - and they turn around their repairs very quickly. Best show repair in the Newton area - by far. I highly recommend them!
Louie Ramy: What a great place!
Ben Cuddy: Extremely efficient and personable service. I had gone to a cobbler before to get extra holes put into a weightlifting belt but was turned away because they didn’t have the right tools. At Pelham they got the job done in a matter of minutes. Very kind owners, I would return here for any other work I needed done.
Miguel Vergara: Great customer service, always on time with their work, & fair prices . I highly recommend them if you need any work done on your shoes , bags , & whatever leather products you can think of . Thanks Pelham shoe for your great service to the community!
Francine Marcello: Excellent service, speedy turn around, and quality repair. They are experts at their craft. Think twice before tossing your favorite shoes or bag. They are honest and will advise you if something is worth renewing. I just put new heels on my favorite boots. I was promised "another 50k miles"

Arlington Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Barbara Walsh: Great work. I had a leather hat belonging to my husband. I needed the lining repaired. The gentleman did a fantastic job! And for a reasonable price too.
Eric Coffin-Gould: Hakop is an old-school artisan - great work at a reasonable price.
Charlotte Pierce: Okay so this place is great. The proprietor is really a sweetheart though he may seem gruff. 😏 Anyway, he does excellent work. Just remember to bring cash for payment. I brought in two pairs of Birkenstocks for re-soling, $75 each. But considering the cost of new shoes I think it's a bargain. Plus those shoes know my feet!
Michelle Farino: Repaired a couple of pairs of shoes for me & he was reasonable
Tandy Jacobs: Really 2.5 stars. I took my leather flats there to get the side stitching redone about a year ago b/c it was coming apart. He did a decent job, ‘though his replacement stitching was a bit crooked. Fine.I recently took my tall leather boots there to have the zipper replaced. He did that adequately, but when I picked up my shoes the heel of the boot was crushed, and any form it once had in the heel was gone. In the back of the heel and toe there’s a stiff insert b/t the upper and interior material or the leather stiffened to helps keep the form. this was destroyed. It was like someone w/ oversized feet stuck them in my boot and walked on the heels until they were crushed down. I suspect the damage was due to some machine he used and not a fat-footed stranger stretching out my boots. W/ the heel damaged, the fit isn’t the same -- like socks that are constantly slipping down. I was able to re-tighten the leather a bit manually w/ heat which helped a little. But he charged me about the same a new pair of low-priced flats. I was fine w/ the price b/c I’d like to help my community during the pandemic since I'm still pulling in a decent income. BUT when I get a service done, what I get back shouldn’t be stretched, broken or otherwise malformed, and I should not have to go home and do extra work to make it fit properly… which I’m still working on.... and I could see the glue on he used creeping out-- I had to trim the excess. (Does a zipper really need glue?)
Shana Weissman: Such a kind and helpful man that helped me! Great experience. Would definitely recommend this place.
JB: Helpful, quick and quite reasonable
Johanna Van Straalen: Don’t take anything here that isn’t black or a generic brown leather. They will just “match as best they can.” In my case, that meant taking an extra week to mismatch a grey Marc Jacobs handbag that now looks like someone toon paste to the seams and edges. When questioned about how I could blend it better they were dismissive and shrugged at me. Won’t be coming back.
Risa Nishimoto: Don’t bother taking your items to places in the city, this is where you should take your shoes and handbags! Wonderful job with boots and bags, they are very thorough and attentive to your request and I will definitely be back to take my other items here. Highly recommend
David Neto: Reasonable price to repair a tear in one of my sneakers.
Colleen Gordon: Very happy! I brought my winter coat in because the zipper was jammed. It zipped up, but not down. The guy came to the front counter and fixed it right there, it only took 10 minutes. I appreciated that he didn't try to sell me a new zipper or anything because I would have totally thought I needed a new one. Great service.
Laura Jauch: Very impressed- I’ve found my family’s new cobbler!
lauren quinn: I had a zipper replaced on my full length winter coat and was expecting the cost to be $50. It was $15!! And done in a couple of hours!
Tess Clayton: The owner does amazing work. A small shop with a hard working craftsman for a reasonable price.
Matt Read: Smells like leather and hard work. I'm on my second pair of footware with the owner, and he's honest and punctual.

Cobbler Shop West: what do users think?
Trevor Cabrera: Got new heels on my ariats.THE BEST. I was super impressed with reasonable cost and very fast turn around. I work a tough night shift schedule so it was nice to get them done so fast and good quality.
Carys O'kelly-Lynch: Amazing quality of work and fast service! I brought in two leather boots on Monday afternoon, they were both ready by Thursday and perfectly done! One pair needed the soles completely repaired and one needed the calves of the boots stretched. The owner was so helpful and was even able to shorten the heels of one of one pair to make them more wearable! Will bring back any shoes/leather items here in the future, cant recommend enough!
Evan Chu: bad stitching and rough finishes.
Ray Wiese: This guy knows his stuff and I have been using Oleg for years- he once made a tear in my Patagonia disappear!
Joe Dalton: Oleg is the real deal. Fairly priced. Quality workmanship. A lost art.
Lukeman: Oleg is the greatest. My grandfather had an old leather jacket that was very very very very well worn over about 3 decades. My father brought it in to be repaired, and it's the greatest Christmas gift (early or otherwise) I've ever received. I cannot put into words how happy I am because of the work done by Oleg. 5 stars will never be enough
Marc D. Cappello: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ValueOleg is a really nice guy and does excellent work. I highly recommend him for shoes, bags, zippers, you name it. He fixed my nearly 30 yr old leather messenger bag my father gave to me like new. He fixes everything. Really impressed. Thank you Oleg. You’re the best!
Everett Harman: An honest and likeable shoe and leather repairman with excellent skills. He also makes keys.
J Cracraft: Oleg did a great job repairing my worn loafers at a pretty reasonable price. Only took a couple of days and they look beautiful!
Katie Barbarisi: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThis cobbler shop is fantastic. We brought in a pair of men’s dress shoes and women’s dress boots, both in need of new soles and heels. The work was high quality and completed in just a few days. Our shoes are like new. Thank you!
Arnold Kraft: Excellent work at fair prices..quick service
KLP: I had a pair of ankle boots I loved, but the heels felt too high and were giving me backaches. I took them to a very well-regarded shoe repair shop in Newton and was told that the job was impossible--these already fairly low heels couldn't be made any lower. The same shop also told me that they'd charge $35 just to resole my boots, which wasn't even what I wanted. I took the same pair of boots to Cobbler Shop West, and (wish I could remember his name--such a nice man!) said, "Of course we can do this!" When I asked what it would cost, he said $24. I almost fell over. When I returned to pick up my boots two days later, they looked like new. The work was beautiful. I insisted on paying more than $24---these two brothers are such a gift to our community! Highly recommend!
Eris Fairbanks: They fixed my wife's boots and bag perfectly just in time for Christmas! Absolutely wonderful. Thanks so much!
Christon Hill: Fast, great prices, and excellent quality. My wife has gotten many of her high heels re-heeled here and they seem to last longer than the original! Even a pair we brought in where a good chunk of the heel was gone he was able to repair. We even followed him when he moved from Framingham to Natick. It is cash only but well worth that minor hassle.
Mark Murphy: This guy was a lifesaver for me again!. Helped me in a real pinch. Gives you high expectations and beats them.
Colleen Phelps: Oleg is an amazing craftsman. I brought in a 35 year vintage purse that had torn and was missing a strap. I left with an updated and beautiful cross body bag. Highly recommend
Bob Roberts: Longtime loyal customer here. Oleg's a real craftsman. He does it all. Men's brogues with leather soles? Check. Expensive women's shoes? Check. Zipsoles? Replacement straps for leather bags? Zippers? Check, check, check. His prices are incredibly reasonable , everything is completed on time. He works with an associate on some days who can be a little gruff on the outside, but they are both friendly and do quality work. Just remember, it's cash-only. I will never take my shoes anywhere else.
Ryan Dorsey: Oleg is absolutely a miracle worker. He has rescued my favorite leather boots so many times—worn heels, broken zippers, splitting seams. He fixes it all for a terrific price and in whatever turnaround time you need, even just a day if you're in a rush! The saying goes that there's fast, there's cheap, and there's quality; you can have any 2 of those but you can't have all three. After bringing half a dozen pairs of shoes to Oleg, I beg to differ.
Ashley Carneal: Great experience with Oleg & his shop, repairing & resoling my favorite pair of boots. Oleg delivered great work, for a fair price for his labor. He delivered under his estimated time...so if he gives you a month-lead time for work, there is a good chance he will finish way before then.
Ellen Alfaro: Great work, good value
Nancy Cable: My son was here for just the weekend from Pittsburgh. We literally took his shoes off and left them at this cobbler shop to be completely re-soled in 2 hours. Very nice work and my son could return to Pittsburgh wearing his shoes!

Morris Shoe Repair & Leather: what do users think?
Chad Klinefelter: Steve does great work... knowledgeable, quick, and fair prices. Very happy with my repaired leather shoes that I am sure will last for years to come.
David Puyraimond: Incapable and unprofessional. Can't believe I am wasting time writing a review. They tried a battery to my wife’s longines’ watch, lost some screws and broke it, taking no responsibility. I recently went to repair my shoes (change the sole). Paid $80 and the sole separated 2 months later. Joke.
CarolBintheD: Fast and efficient!
Charlotte Dore: Excellent repair of a bunch of shoes made by fleuvogs. Now they look brand new again.
gary washburn: He goes good work but he quoted me $35 on a job and asks for a deposit, and I left $10. When I return to pick up shoes, I asked to buy some shoestrings for the just fixed shoes. He voluntarily puts them on and then charges me $5 for the shoestrings and $5 for putting them on. I never asked him to put them on. When you’re trying to gain clientele, not sure why you nickel and dime them on stuff. An extra $5 to put the shoestrings in my shoes? It was petty.
Felix G: Thank you for the very quick service!
Tiffany Kim: Amazing! My leather purse had a big, noticeable discoloration on the bottom/side from being set down on something that leached the blue-grey dye. I wasn't sure if it was salvageable, but he managed to match this unique (and discontinued) color almost exactly! Couldn't be happier with the result. Also, he was very nice and friendly. The turnaround was only a couple days, and price was reasonable. Highly recommend!
Kevin Jordan: I came in from the cold last winter and met the guys and we talked for an hour. They own the place and were so kind.I am going back there to get a pair of boots before this winter. ( Fall of 2022 )
Paul C: Steve was quick and professional. Made two spot repairs to my messenger bag.
Sarah Guzzi: My experience here couldn't have been better - I walked in with a wallet needing a zipper repair, Steve fixed it in about 5 minutes! Works better than it did originally and otherwise can't tell the difference - exactly what I needed.
Paul: The owner Steve had been around for years. Does excellent work and his prices are reasonable. He also fixes watches, replaces batteries etc
bizzadams: I just got a leather jacket repaired here. Great customer service, Sergey was so kind and friendly. There was a quick turn around, and great prices. Plus this store has been here for nearly 30 years!
Off Perspective: Brought in my leather jacket thinking I'd have the entire zipper replaced because it kept separating. He tried replacing the slider on the zipper instead to save me time and money. Next day, completely fixed! Thanks again!
sipa599: Quick and effective
brendan hayes: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueI dropped my shoes off this morning to have the leather sole glued back on (they were ready the same day) Steve recommend that we stitch a new sole on as well as add a traction pad. The shoes look better than new, couldn't be happier. Thanks!
Kevin F Jordan: A small store with a big heart.
Alianora Reilly: These guys are the best! Really fast, very kind, and they do great work. It was a little pricey but worth it for the wonderful service. They went above and beyond!
El Roz: Quality, professional work.Is it cheap? No. But it is quality.
Belen Lazaro: Love Morris Shoe Repair - does great work and quick turnaround
Kathryn Napolitano: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueSteve repaired a vintage leather backpack of mine. He offered his expertise in what needed to be done and made the repairs quickly. My bag was done the same day! He was lovely to work with and told me to let him know if I had any issues in the future. Would highly recommend this shop!

Hollywood Shoe Repair: what do users think?
Steve Faber: Had my heavy duty hiking boots resoled. When I picked them up, the collar on the top of the ankle was also repaired (something I didn't think was going to be possible as the leather was so thick.Beautiful job for very fair price. Will travel the considerable distance to have any shoe repair done by this artisan.PS - Back when I first discovered him (I believe his shop was in Walpole at the time) I learned that he also will make custom shoes or hiking boots from scratch. He is a master craftsman.
Buck Crowley: Great service, very talented and experienced working in leather.
Ken L: My leather shoes were shined and cleaned very well for my wedding. The service was prompt and was affordable. Definitely recommend !
Rachael Tripp: The owner was so kind to help me out in a pinch (repairs overnight), and is a salt of the earth kind of business owner. We need more folks like him!
Evil Queen: Gave my Birkenstocks a new life!
Beth Rizzo: I went in here after reading reviews because I needed to have a purse strap shortened. I wasn’t quite sure how it would be done, but this man is an expert at his craft. He took one look at the strap, could see that it was way too long on me and we measured what we thought would be the right length for the strap. I didn’t want to leave the bag. It has sentimental value for me, and asked if I could just leave the strap with him to fix and I would come back for it. He asked me if I could wait 10 minutes and said he could do it right now. The work is impeccable and it’s perfect. Bless him! What a lost art form. I hope he is in business for many, many years. Excellent work, a super kind and professional man.
Stacy Lamb: 4 pairs of boots needed polish and some repairsGot them back and look brand new. And price is ridiculous (cheap). He said he had been doing this for 28 years and you can tell by his work and prices. Gave him a tip and he was so thankful and happy. Loved himReminded me of my Papa.
Richard P: I was very pleased. The owner told me exactly how he was going to fix my shoe and he's only going to take three days to do it! He also didn't charge me in advance which is unusual because his colleagues always make you pay upfront. It'll be interesting to see what he charges me!
Nicole M: The gentleman that runs this store is amazing at his craft. I bought three pairs a fry boots and the zippers were basically junk and I brought the boots into him and he replaced the zippers and the stitching next to the zippers for $50 a pair. The boots are very expensive and the zippers that they sell on the boots are cheap quality, and he put very nice zippers in so they wouldn’t bust when I wore them which was what was happening. Not only did it extend the boots a little in the calf area, it was so much easier to zip up. Highly recommend! He did it in one day!
Jerry Murray: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueHave always had great experiences here! I have brought in leather, shoes, coats, sandals, baseball gloves and all done promptly and professionally. It is my go to place and I love recommending it to everyone. It is a hidden treasure. I love going in and seeing them cutting leather to make custom boots. A true craftsman!
Matthew Rausch: I dropped shoes off last week that I am bringing on vacation leaving tomorrow. Was told to pick up on Monday. Im here its closed website says open, the sign on the door also says closed tomorrow. I was told to come back Today. Phone number does not have a mailbox. No way to get ahold of anyone if they are not in the store. Very upset I was referred here and this was my experience. Now they will have to sit for 2 weeks. Till I get back and hope they are open.
Mike Sr Doucette: I think this place is one of the best!!!
mark oneill: Friendly staff and great price
Joanne S: Positive:Professionalism,QualityHe did a beautiful job uplifting 3 pairs of old worn out leather boots. One pair was over ten years old and he made them look like new again.
Nadia Mounsif: Adorable owner and personAwesome prices and great service. Definitely one of my go to places
Leo Thifault: Great small business!
Jordan Miller: This guy's awesome.
Joan Berdan: The owner is a wonderful man! He does excellent work with only minimal charges. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
Katarina Zinberg: Wonderful gentleman! Fabulous job, very reasonably priced. Waited for me for 15 min extra after he was already closed while I was stuck in traffic & really needed my shoes that night. Thank you again, you are the BEST!
A H: After I spent two hours fixing heel caps, I decided to bring my shoes here. Very affordable price! I am so glad that I did not need to give away my favorite shoes. Thank you for your business.
Alex Bakuta: Great service for a good price!
