United States Postal Service: what do users think?
Felix Müller: Unfortunately, I must agree with the other ratings here. This location is extremely understaffed and sometimes even the terminal isn’t working - lines of 20+ people. The staff is still friendly, which is nice.
Shu Talun: Zero stars. The most poorly run embarrassment of an establishment. Be prepared to wait at least 2-3 hrs for passport processing. Do not bring children to this location.
Shaojie Shi (shaojie): Slow af
Sasha Hoffman: If you need a passport photo, go to CVS one block away. if you choose to go here you need an appointment in advance. Such a nightmare when i went. I specifically told them i didn't have an appt and they told me to wait in line and they would do it. I waited for 20 min, got to the front then they told me to go online and make an appt.
Boris S: It's really a shame this location has gotten so bad. I was waiting in line along with over 20 people at 10 am on a Monday morning - I waited for 40 minutes and had to leave, who has time like that? Only 1 employee was dealing with pacakge related issues. The other 1 employee was working at the passport/finger print counter. USPS, I know you guys don't listen to feedback - but this location is extremely understaffed.
Trevor Hill: The very nice woman at the counter was hilarious and helpful. Lifted my spirits! Post office therapy
Tom Thornton: Long lines at 3 and 5
Dilini Ranatunga: Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! Getting our passport application in was a breeze! They even do photos and make copies!
Royce Yap: Just terrible attitude from the Sales Associate Marion. I asked her about the price of the stamps and she raised her voice at me, asking how much discounts do I want. She could afford to have more courtesy.
Matthew Ferrante: Typical for them to have 1 employee at the counter with 12 people in line
Andrew Cunningham: There was a line of 20 people and literally no one behind the counter. When the cashier finally came, ge wasn't even wearing a mask (a federal employee requirement). 0 stars.
Frances W: I am giving a 5 star because the man was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, they seemed very understaffed and there was a long line. Despite this, the man working today was very kind and helpful!
JH Fang: Slow
Abdul Halim Ekram: A clean & well organized post office
S M: Would give them a 5 star in regularly losing my mail, specially annoying when you find out that the recipient never received the check you sent via USPS 15 days ago, I’m talking Cambridge to Cambridge mail delivery! Of course, they blame everything on Covid.
Hyun Kum: Had the most pleasant and professional service for getting fingerprints.
Zak Ickes: They do not understand how to answer the phone, 3 separate voicemails during office hours
Tom Blough: Don't go if you're in a hurry. One lady working the counter this morning just walked off for her break.
Paul G: Best workers in the PO.
Marissa Ruchlin: Line moved quickly, very nice and helpful staff, good social distancing
Jami Mack: I saw them yell at some guy today and it made me so uncomfortable. He literally did nothing wrong and they were acting insane. They were so rude to me.

United States Postal Service: what do users think?
Mary Surabian: I spent almost 30 minutes in line to drop off prepaid packages. I can’t just leave them in the drop off because I need proof of scan for my reselling. After spending that time waiting the clerk spoke rudely to me and acted annoyed I needed a receipt. Just don’t recommend this place.
Dan M: Ehh nothing special about this location.
Lucy Cooley: Nancy was friendly, helpful and cheerful. Thanks!
Ben Kahan: Typical USPS branch except for one thing.. at this branch, it is standard for clerks to FaceTime their friends, on shift, behind the counter while customers await service.I understand it can get slow but really?
Gina: Employees are aggressively unhelpful and brain dead. Budget 3x the time you'd need to send a package.
Patricia Brown: I had an incident with lady at front desk over an error she made they came to my job and found me online , now when I come in to get a money order she rude every time she should of been fired horrible service and I encourage anyone speak up if they have had a bad experience with them some customer service
Jessica Fuentes: Very rude front desk employee. Older lady. Had an attitude and was being smart. I went in and was very polite to receive such bad customer service. No wonder why there are so many bad reviews. First time I had ever dealt with a usps employee with such a poor attitude. I’m sure she does her job well but it won’t hurt to be kind to the customers.
Tedros: The worst customer service I have ever received. Very rude employee. It is a torture. I have never expected such kind of service in US. I am giving one star bcos there is no less than that.
Michael Chen: 30+ min wait in line for something I needed printed using label-broker. Single person serving about 6 people in front of me took about 30 min before it was my turn. When I left the line was even longer reaching the door at least 12-13 people. It’s tax day today they really needed more staff to handle the traffic of customers today. Severely understaffed. Very poor experience
Michael Chmielewski: Wow didn't think customer service could be so horrible... all the reviews are right. If I could rate 0 star I would. If you can avoid this place you definitely need to at all costs!
Urmila Chadayammuri: I paid for my shipping, and filled out customs for the international package, on USPS.com and was then able to drop it off with no worries at all. Line was short at 4pm on a weekday.
John OConnor: The employees here are living examples why the USPS is going broke.
Jeani Rome: Richard threatened to stop delivering mail to my building simply because I had the audacity to ask about my missing package. Totally unprofessional and unhelpful.
Kirsten Whalen-Pedersen: Arlene is a gem. She went above and beyond to solve a problem for me regarding the additional services on a PO Box that others were unable to fix, all with a smile on her face and a very understanding, calm attitude.
Dingwen Sun: Helene literally starts yelling at me the moment I entered the building, a bunch of customers in line were shaking their heads and left after seeing her yelling, I have been visiting this location on daily basis, the rest of the stuff are friendly so I would give it a 3 stars, but I probably would never want to seeing or receiving any service from Helene again.
Camille DeVaney: Came at 330pm on a weekday. Huge line, one person working, took 30 minutes to mail a letter with tracking.
Amanda Jacobs: The clerk complained loudly that she was done with customers even though the post office didn't close for at least another 10 min. Told us we should keep walking to the next one rather than having her continue to work. Horrible person.
Karla Trejo: To the gentleman who completed my two transactions this morning: I don't know what inspires people to act as unfriendly as you behaved when you helped me out this morning--It surprised me because you were so friendly towards the male customer who came before me. I hope you stop to reflect on how your behavior may affect people.
Lauren Yonkoski: This is a high-trafficked area so it's normal for there to be a long line. That's not the issue. The issue is how incredibly slow-moving the line is. It takes upwards of half an hour to get through each customer. Today the line did not move at all for 35 minutes. It's almost impressive how slow they are. They're like the sloths at the DMV in Zootopia. Also, most of the people who work there are pretty rude. When I finally made it into the building to just hand over my package, the woman actually glared at me and said she couldn't help me. This is a pretty typical interaction for me at this post office. Just go to FedEx.
Khadija Laaziz: I hate United States postal because I want to delivered clothing to Morocco but they said still in New York City
sophia rehmus: I agree with all the posts that say that the man working there is incredibly rude. When the customer behind me saw how this employee treated me, he had my back and refused to be served by this guy, and instead waited for the next available person. I now refuse to go in there.

United States Postal Service: what do users think?
IndigoSolution: When their system refused to certify "Czech Republic" as a valid country for some bizarre reason, their agent personally struggled to process that "Czechia" is a valid English alternate name. Rather than go with it, they repeatedly asked me to verify the country name and return later. I had to write it down for them, so I'm not struggling to theorize that they've not familiar with popular country names. I guess I should give them some slack since international geography is a weak spot for most Americans. After that process and being cornered to pay for fragile shipping, they seemed to graciously let me know that VAT for the recipient would be 50% rather than 25% with absolutely no explanation rather than vague gestures to outdated computer system from the mid 2000s. I wouldn't be surprised if they accidentally keyed in something else wrong. Now I'm worried their careless attitude is going to cause trouble on the other end.Looking back at the customs declaration form now, I think I might have filled it out wrong and they mentioned absolutely nothing to me. No, "you need to sign and fill out these boxes". Absolutely useless in providing help beyond the most basic drone work. The only upside is that my package has been mailed. Everything else is up in the air. If you want to mail a package international here, understand that it's going to be a gamble and risk. Thanks Harvard Square USPS. Thank you for reminding me that Fedex and UPS is an option and showing me that their competence and piece of mind is worth the extra ~$100Update: Package made it to Czechia after bouncing between JFK, some random town in the middle of Appalachia, and then back to JFK over the span of a week and a half, but never progressed beyond initial entry to the country. Given my experience mailing it, I'm absolutely convinced that the agent fat fingered and malformed the digital entry of this package's address and now it's sitting on some random shelf in a Prague post office because the entered ship-to address is unreadable and/or non-sensible.Best part is that their standard First-Class international package service isn't guaranteed or insured, so there's nothing I can do.If you insist on shipping a package by USPS, always get insurance.
Jude Heichelbech: Day before taxes are due. One person is serving a growing line which is not moving. No one seems to care. This is normal for this post office. Really, why don’t you care? Why didn’t you staff properly? Two persons with packages have already left the line. So, I just left. 47 minutes to mail my taxes. FAIL.minus 14 stars.
Gabrielle Davidson Adams: The most miserable people I’ve ever encountered work here. Customer service is below par. You ask a question and you get ridiculed. USPS do better.
Tim S: Dave was very helpful. A bit busy of a location.
Zachary Monte: I normally don’t leave reviews or anything of the sort unless I’m blown away for good or bad reasons, and this one is a bad reason. My wife and I were trying to get a passport for our 3 month old baby. Earlier in the week we scheduled an appointment to have pictures taken at this location because we figured it’s easier and minimizes the amount we have to take our baby out of the house in between naps. We specifically did this at a certain time hoping things would go promptly while still having some time in case it was a little delayed but this was 20-30 minutes more which is absolutely irresponsible. When we got there, our appointment was for 1:45PM but nobody helped us until after 2. If you have a little baby, every minute is important to keep them on schedule so this already was ruining our schedule. Then, when we spoke with the lady behind the counter, she told us that the picture machine was down and that someone had spoken to us yesterday and cancelled the appoint with us. My wife showed her phone to the USPS workers to prove that they never called her. The attendant then called over the man who made the phone calls to cancel our session and he claimed that he spoke to my wife and told her that it wasn’t possible to take pictures there. The man straight up lied to my wife and I about calling us and neither he nor the attendant behind the counter had the courage to admit a mistake was made on their part and offer to reschedule. Everything my wife said to them to show them they were lying was met with “I spoke to a woman and she confirmed the cancellation” and yet even with a phone showing the call history and a lack of evidence to show that they called, they still repeated the same thing over and over again. These workers lied and lied and just refused to admit that they made a stupid mistake despite all the undeniable evidence showing that they were lying. It was so disrespectful to do that to a mother with a 3 month old baby in front of everyone that was there, but these workers at this location seemed to not care. Never again will we go to this location and I suggest whoever is reading this does the same.
Yan Boshen: Left this place with an unsent letter and even more confusion about how to even send a letter in the United States
Elivane Paneto: the two people who were working are extremely rude, they treat people with an unusual rudeness and I waiting in line for almost an hour.very disappointed
lafontaine orvild: Workers are very helpful and pretty fast.
Robyn Boyland: I have a feeling that all the people who work here despise their lives. The negative energy is tangible when you walk through the door. Brace yourself for rudeness and poor service. If it weren't for the necessity of mailing packages and getting passports, I guarantee I would never step foot in this facility again. Continually disappointed.
Julianne Bliss: Agree with all the other reviews. I live near here so I have to use this place from time to time and every single time I leave the place fuming because the staff, Jim in particular, are so extremely rude. I dread this place. This is a place of sadness.
Dan Fan: The woman handling the service was passport service was wonderfully kind and patient. The process was very smooth.
Dawson Schawang: Worst post office location I've been to. Incredibly slow, always something wrong.
Becky: Terrible service
Sayuri Inoue: I’m used to a bad service at a post office. However, a clerk ‘Jim’ here thinks he can yell at customers and he does so selectively. There are many hardworking people out there who would happily take his job any day.
Rain Wu: very slow… inefficient
Amr Seifeldin: Terrible customer service, extremely rude. No one wants to do the bare minimum of what their job is about.
Beatriz Segura: Slow and rude. Hire more and nicer people
Tami K: Fabulous that they are open till 3 on Saturdays! The only branch since that is. However, there's only two people staffing the place, which doesn't really fit the known long line. They handle passports at this time too. Perhaps it would be better if they withheld passport appointments for this last hour?
Amy: No one ever answers the phone.
Inkoo: Now I understand why they got so negative reviews. Staffs here are super unkind. Awful.
Isadora Levy: Baffled by how rude the staff is at this UPS. Seems like their goal is to have the least amount of people possible using their services, receiving everyone with a bad attitude. There was an older gentlemen trying to send a form and the man behind the counter looked at it and said “can you read this?” before sending him to the back of the line to fill it out again. It was very humiliating and not helpful. Passport support was also rude and not willing to have patience with a newborn who would not wake up for a photo. As an observer of all this, I was shocked at the poor quality of customer service. They need better salaries, better training or some sort of urgent change in people management because every time I visit this location I am mistreated and made to feel dumb for asking a simple question. Horrible experience.
