Boston Costume: what do users think?
lemon: Its just resold clothes from target and shien or wherever else. Nothing is really truly vintage and the rack hasn't changed in months.
Ethan Rossman: Decent selection great organization. Would recommend coming back here if you don’t find anything your first time as a lot cycles through.
Wynter Aiguier: I really just went in for a look around... Great selection of army fatigues and other apparel
Ann Thomson: Great bargains!!! So fun to go here!
Richard Cadet: Great staff , great service
Colleen Childs: Great place to buy almost anything
Michael and Steve: This is a fantastic place to purchase slightly worn clothing at a good price. You can sort through the mountain of clothes on the 1st floor, then check out the second floor selection of sporting shirts, leather jackets and so much more.
M. Mazz: Not many places like the garnet district left! Support it while you still can. Great thrift with a very solid and well organized selection.
Youyeon Choi: Variety of costume and second-hand clothes
R Curt: Place has been my go to costume shop since I was 11. Huge selection and great prices. Also open late
Taylor Anthony: Dan and Eric were super flexible with me when it came to scheduling my appointment and picking up the rental. My costume was in great condition and was a hit at the party! I would definitely recommend Boston Costume’s rentals!
Leidiane Souza (Leh): The store is nice and very big but I felt kind of lost because they sell everything separately so you have to find each peace of wherever costume have in mind.
Ruthmary Weinger: Busy place, with costume packages, as well as lots of items for DIY. We had fun trying on lots of fancy dress items.
Adam Bottis: This place is awesome. It's also got a thrift store on the 2nd floor
S.Christopher Baker: Dope threads
Harvey Muller: For a small place inside a larger store, it had an eclectic collection of items that you would not find in a similar store. And the best thing is it is colocated with the Garment District!
Alvin Snow: Excellent
Adam: Great costumes for purchase or rent, and as Always a helpful staff.
Cynthia Kiss: A little pricey but worth it because the pieces are pretty organized upstairs. Downstairs it's a big mountain of clothes. It's $2 a lb and no exchange or refunds......treasures but you need to dig. :) Here are my $0.80 shirts from the pile downstairs.
Stephanie Shields: Great place to shop for unique clothing or costume elements.
Cecilia Lemus: I love this place

American Repertory Theater: what do users think?
Tim Van Patten: A great venue, nearby parking. The student cast from Harvard were amazing. Saw The Great Comet of 1812
Eric Mankin: Just saw the Widow of Willesden at ART and it was fabulous, even if I didn't catch all the references. Just like 1776 last year, the show made me want to know more about what happened. Zadie Smith's metered play was so funny and clever.
Gail Stewart: Very fun show- The Wife of Wilesden.
Maggie Morio: Every play I see there is unique, special and different than the traditional Theater. The director is very astute and extremely knowledgeable on the staff they are presenting to the public. My most memorable experience there was summer with the production of 1776. Absolutely suburb. Right now is rehearsing for Broadway. I am sure that will get some Tony awards. Be curious and find out what is in their repertoire. You will never regret it.
annette jacobs: Not a bad seat in the house.
Christian Scott: Broadway quality productions in Harvard Square!I'm especially appreciative of their work with schools, my students love the Life of Pi and 1776
S BoweRs: Had the opportunity to see Life of Pi here. The show was incredible. I was happy that the facility still had mask mandates in place, especially during the heavy flu/cold season. Seating was very comfortable and all accommodations were clean.
Rick Johnson: Great performance of "Life of Pi"
mike d: The show we saw was great and the staff was helpful but all of the restrooms were "all gender" which was awkward
Craig Minoff: Incredible production of Life of Pi. Other shows have been solid too, but this one took the visuals and stage direction to new levels. Annoying that you still have to wear a mask and the snack selection is middling.
Quentin Fennessy: Shows from the ART often end up on Broadway and often win awards. Seriously. The Waitress first played here, and the Jagged Little Pill. This is a place for first class drama in the Boston area.
Stephen Dysert: the recent Life of Pi production is everything theater is supposed to be, and perhaps the best blend of high tech wizardry and dramatic storytelling I’ve seen.
Chris Grace: Life of Pi was amazing! A.R.T. presentations always amaze.
Curt Raffi: The American Repertory Theater on Brattle Street in the Loeb Drama Center is a real treasure of Boston theater. Forget the bustle of the city, enjoy amazing performances in an intimate 550 person theater all set in a relaxing side street atmosphere off of Harvard Square. Where else can you get amazing dinner and stroll calmly to the theater and never feel like you're getting pushed and shoved from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Peter Squires: Thoughtful well staged productions
Dan Drago: Very nice venue, medium sized, friendly staff. Came here to see Life of Pi.
Cesar Palma: This is a review of -LIFE OF PI- which I was lucky to attend on December 21st. What propelled me to get a ticket was an article in the Harvard gazette with the headline "Scene stealing puppets of "Pi". That unfortunately was not the case. The only thief that stole the show was the set designer (Tim Hatley) which created two magical moments: the appearance of the boat and the protagonist jumping into the ocean and bobbing mid torso a few seconds later. It would not have had the same effect without the lightning design (Tim Lutkin) and Video Design (Andrzej Goulding). A competent cast ensemble with outstanding performances by Avery Glymph and Sathya Sridharan in multiple roles.I believe the puppets could steal the show if the puppeteers were to be robed in black so that they blend into the background, a device that would have allowed the animals to come into their own. The most successful pairing between handler and puppet were the glowing fish. The rest were disjointed and did not move like their counterparts in real life. Zebras do not move like horses and bengal tiger are majestic not disjointed. The other problem I found was the in the casting. Pi we are told by an official is a sixteen year old boy who is hiding under the hospital bed, and when he finally comes from under it we get someone who appears to be in his early 30's, and with a physique that looked pretty good for having spent 227 days at sea, malnourished and in the company of a Bengal tiger. As competent a performer as Mr. Adi Dixit is, especially in his physical dexterity I had a credibility issue from the start. The initial interaction with the two officers seems to be playing for laughs rather than the traumatic experience he had undergone.Regardless of my reservations I urge you to make yours as soon as possible. It was an uplifting experience, full of awe and a full fledge collaboration of actors and puppeteers.
Daniel Spiess: Always a pleasure. Productions are of high quality. No seat is bad in this small theater.
John Dowd: Never seen a bad show here.Great program for kids here
Kevin Mastro: Just an absolutely wonderful experience, each and every time. Be it for a student performance or the next big show on Broadway, we are lucky to have such a fantastic theater so close by!Thanks ART for everything you do!!
Nick Felker: I saw a production of In the Heights here. The show was said to start at 7:30 but wasn't very punctual. The show was good, with solid production value. They didn't have any playbills though, which was disappointing. Still, a show here is well worth the ticket price.

Party City: what do users think?
Jim Bomb: They had exactly what I needed!!
Timur Rustamov: They really have some crazy stuff there as well as more traditional items that you would expect to see in a party shop. Really a little bit of everything, with good space organization (each aisle has a theme/color scheme).
Georgia Kondylis: I came in very close to closing on a Friday night and the manager, James, still greeted me enthusiastically and kindly! He absolutely rocks and made my shopping experience memorable. Highly recommend this location solely because of James’s amazing service
Shira Frager: I loved browsing but I was looking for a costume and their are not a lot of options. Just a few leftover from Halloween. Great customer service nonetheless and a fun store to be in!
Liam Goldman: Didn't actually go inside but broke down outside of it, so ya 👍
Elizabeth Murrell: This location is okay. Wondering if they're going out of business though because they done have a wide selection or much on many of the shelves... Would call and ask if they have a product before assuming they do.
Kim Lewis: The store always looks empty. I couldn't find what I needed and even after second and third choices. I left feeling like "I guess this will have to do its all they have."
Sherri Pfuntner: Semi found what I was looking for. The place was a complete mess. The employee at the register was completely overwhelmed, which I know my kid, and I was able to get her to smile a few times. Hopefully, she ended up getting the help she needed!
Sol Ucciani: went to get helium balloons, the price was really good compared to the supermarket where we normally get thenlm and the attention was great!
Stephanie Flood: Shoutout to the amazing people that work at the Watertown location!! The store manager, Steve, went above and beyond the call of duty to help me to fulfill a particular balloon needed for a very special work celebration! Personally picked up the balloons from another location to be sure I would have them for this event!!! Just amazing and needs proper recognition for this amazing customer service! Again so appreciated and could not be more great full for him even considering going to this length for a customer!!
carlos buho: Everything you need for your party, they also offer delivery.
Chans View bomh1029: Love this store, always there. Employees treat you like family!
Asaf Waizman: Tricky to find. GPS took me someplace else. However, once I got there, the staff was friendly and very helpful.
Katherine Manopoli: Todd is the best!
T G: No one at this location ever answers the phone, tried different extensions and left messages.
Tristan Bagala: The store was a bit of a mess- in absolute disarray. They also closed 15 minutes early and locked out some potential customers tonight.
Xf Yin: We went there on Friday to get things bought for my son’s Sunday birthday party. The man on checkout kindly offered to let us pick up the balloons on Sunday morning so we would have nice and big balloons for the party. However when I went there around 11am on Sunday, they were so busy with other orders and I waited for 10 minutes for no one helping. The young girl who’s preparing the balloons told me they have more than 300 balloons ahead they don’t have time to get mine ready. I don’t understand why they put online orders even before the order placed a couple days ago in store. If I know the situation earlier I would not choose picking up at all. I ended up taking the balloons home and blew them all by ourselves. It’s such disappointing experience. Hope they have more stuffs on weekends and have some kinder stuffs as well.
Ellen S: Good location, parking is huge. The place is big. But! It needs to increase an assortment definitely and the place needs to be better organized. Most personnel is very nice and attentive without annoyance. Young people work there and it's fun to interact with them. What's strange is that girls didn't give you a sec. of their attention. As the matter of fact after observing who is available I chose a young guy because of his facial expression, when girls wouldn't look me in the eye and acted like I'm not standing right in front of them waiting to get helped.
Bayron Mejia: Tienen de todo. Para las fiestas de todas las edades. Desde platós. Regalos globos. De todos los colores y tamaños. Etc
Mr CST: We drove there to get invitations and found out they no longer sell them...a party store for party's don't sell invitations anymore. Get them on line they tell us....so the store is only good for balloons, paper goods, plastic knife spoons and forks and candy...😥😥
Badr Tejado: Good selection of accessories for any type of party. Friendly and helpful staff.
