Gran Gusto: what do users think?
Kristen Dionne: Delicious neighborhood Italian spot in Cambridge with a confusing as heck parking situation but I made it! The antipasto plate was super super fresh and lovely. My pasta dish actually ended up being tossed around in a cheese wheel next to our table before being served to me and I was beyond happy with this surprise because the more cheese the better, always! I am excited to come back to Gran Gusto!
Karen Messick: Had the bolognese, but was a little disappointed in the lack of flavor. It was average, but other guests I spoke to while there assured me the food is usually amazing. May try again and get something different.Food: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Prosciutto Di Parma …More

Marco Ugolotti: Gran Gusto … what else! Still after 15 years the best Italian pizza place in Boston. Great antipasti and pizzas and all the food is real Italian. Great wine list …. At the right price!Recommended dishes Ceci, Ricotta Cake, Calamari, Margherita Pizza with Fresh Basil …More
Jay Yin: great atmosphere authentic ittalian run location.10/10 atmospherefeels like I should be wearing formal or semi formal whenever I go here.10/10 foodThe food here is hard to compare with othe places and can only be tried yourself.I recommend going here multiple times and trying pretty much everything on the menu, thats what I did.
Laney Morse: Made a reservation for Saturday night and had a great experience! Staff was so friendly and always very attentive - it’s a very well-run restaurant and you can tell they genuinely care about the customers and the product they put out! We ordered drinks, 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, dessert and coffee. Everything was absolutely delicious, good portions for the fair price and we enjoyed everything. The little details really made it - explaining items on the menu, the coffee being very hot with the dessert, and everything else. We’ll absolutely be recommending this to others and we’ll be back!

Alexandra Philip: Would give this place 0 starts if I could. Not only is the food low-quality, but the service is abysmal (and openly racist). My partner and I came for dinner and were the only people of color in the establishment. It took 30 min for someone to come take our order on a quiet weekday evening, while folks who came in after us were already receiving food. Servers were rude and dismissive, and food was cold and tasteless. Recommend going to Carmelinas in the North End for some real Italian and excellent service or Olive Garden for the same food at a cheaper price.

dorothy heisey: We had 2 pizzas to go on Thanksgiving! we Had it one day later on Thanksgiving.we’d buy it more often but on a strict money procedure. get the Quadro.(everything on top) Yum!Parking: Fine with Cambridge permit.
Danilo Ciccola: Best Italian food in town, Antonio will take good care of you, and even make you laugh.
Youyeon Choi: Nice Italian food and wine with reasonable price
Miles: Gotta go back to old reviews n change them cause this inspired a new expectation
Nicholas Stamoulos: Cozy charming authentic Italian. Just the right amount of selections to offer choices but not overwhelm. Never had a bad meal there. Owner is pretty cool and sociable... but he could be a little nicer to staff. I was there for late lunch one time before pandemic and he was not very warm and fuzzy prepping wait staff for dinner. Otherwise never had an issue with service or anything else. Highly recommend...my friend from Bologna introduced me ... he knows his food. Nothing wrong with atmosphere... only been there day time....just nothing special. Maybe better low lit at night. Definitely enjoyed private area for private events one time.
Emily Rode: Wonderful experience. Attentive staff and food was great.

Dig Time: Service is very questionable. We ordered drinks and just never received them. Sat for about 30 minutes. The young female bartender is very rude and not someone you want to interact with on a personal or professional level. Highly don’t recommend as there are a score of other places to go in the area for drinks. Wings were also dry as well.
Jaye Aster Broder: A go-to college pub, Grendel’s has a nice half-priced food happy hour from 5-7pm when you also order a drink. Grendel’sIs normally busy and a little loud. There are stairs down to enter. While in the basement, there are some windows that let light in. There is a moderate selection of beers on tap and cans as well as some simple cocktails. I would probably discourage large groups from coming here as it can be tough to find a table.
Samantha LaForgia: Decent after work spot! Reasonable priced. Some variety to the menu. Check it out if you want something quick and low key!

CJW: Bomb spot. Great divey, service industry hang. Rad folks, both those that work there as well as the people who frequent Grendel's. If Mal is on bar, get a green tea shot (Note: it contains alcohol), it is extremely tasty. Best part, it's tasty for any palette; it's not too sweet, not too sour/bitter, great complexities, and absolutely delicious flavour profile. Yummy! Nice bathrooms, good ambience, great music, and all around good energy vibes. As always, please don't forget to tip your servers and your bartenders, in addition to any and every one else that works to provide a wonderful experience for you. ©️ CJWVegetarian options: Various yummy vegetarian optionsParking: It's in Harvard Square so it's generally fairly difficult to find parking. I suggest using public transportation, or park outside of Harvard Sq. and enjoy a short walk to Grendel's. ©️CJW

Jordan Sandman: Best place in the world to work. Period.
Dan M: Pretty solid Harvard Sq Dive Bar with a scent and stickiness that always lingering. Maybe it’s because it’s in a basement. Anyhow they have a great patio set up in the summertime so I like to go then. Only thing is you need to order some food with drinks when dining out there.
Tom: Decent food, but the bartender looked/acted like he'd rather be anywhere else other than work, which I get, but c'mon guy.
Jan Haughey: we were looking for a spot to get dinner before a show at ART, and this was perfect. First time there. Our server was helpful and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised that the meal was half priced due to the time and drink order! Talulla: what do users think?
Stephen Cornell: Excellent tasting menu and pairings, but price was too high for quality and experience
Ben Kahan: Recommended dishes Rye BreadMore
Aude-Marie Alem: Very intimate restaurant, nice for a date, in winter they have those individual heated living room outside, food is delicious and the bread is the best bread I found in Boston! I wish they could sell their bread on the side!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jea Kim: Great casual fine dining experience in a quiet Cambridge neighborhood.Took a visit here for dinner on a Saturday night. Its casual and rustic interior blended in perfectly with the atmosphere of the neighborhood, and our servers were very welcoming. We were initially planning to do the tasting menu, but the regular a la carte menu seemed too good to miss. We ended up ordering a bunch from their regular menu which turned out to be the right decision. The optional focaccia and rye bread with sweet scallion butter was an excellent start to the meal. From the appetizers, we had the kohlrabi & cabbage, country terrine, and the scallop crudo. Topped with a mélange of earthy and floral ingredients, the scallop crudo was my favorite from the appetizers. Each bite was creamy and flavorful yet inexplicably light. Sprinkled with cranberries and spiced seeds, the kohlrabi and cabbage salad was also delightful. I especially loved the spiced seed toppings which added the right amount of nuttiness and crunchy texture.Saffron bigoli with leeks and clam sofrito had a slightly boring flavor profile, but the pappardelle verde with lamb sugo was phenomenal. I’m usually not a fan of mint toppings, but it managed to become a perfect complement to the lamb sugo. Subsequent 3 entrées were also amazing. Japanese-inspired soy marinated cod was perfectly tenderized, and its delicate texture paired well with the carrots and leeks soaked in dashi. Forking a concoction of chimichurri sauce, garlic purée, and grilled spring onion with tender pieces of beef teres major was also very satisfying. We finished off the meal with the carrot cake sundae and the lemon poppyseed cake. The dessert section lacked refined taste, but we still appreciated their effort to put something unique and interesting. Overall, a really enjoyable dinner experience at a reasonable price. Would definitely come back some day to try their tasting menu.Parking: Street parking available on Huron Ave Concord Ave
Jessica Cersosimo: Went on a date here and decided to splurge on the tasting menu and wine pairing for $135 per person. The food was good but not mind blowing. Honestly for a $400 bill, for two, I expected way more in the food and service dept. The scallop crudo is actually the only course I really remember as being impressive, the filet was cold and chewy.Service was just ok. Pleasant but the whole experience felt rushed. Felt like the goal was to get us in and out as quickly as possible. Wine for the next course was served before we even finished what we had in our glass. I felt pressured to pound back the wine and keep moving. The server didn't even announce the first dish, just plopped it down and left and I have no idea what wines we drank because not only could I barely hear him, he talked so fast I could't understand anyway. The wine was so so and one glass had bits of something at the bottom from what ever was in the bottom of the bottle. All in all, it was an insanely overpriced meal that was pleasant enough but not an experience I would do again or recommend. They did comp our cocktails which were tasty because we had to wait so long to be seated which was thoughtful.

Raffi Asdourian: One of the best restaurants in the greater Boston area. Intimate, cozy and delicious, this is an amazing hidden gem for date nights or special occasions or just indulging. Also, they deserve an award for their bread and butter, absolutely to die for.
Liz Barbour: Wow! Our family has eaten at Talulla twice for special occasions, and it's worth the price. Be sure to get the tasting menu with wine pairing!Dietary restrictions: They were more than willing to substitute a course in the tasting menu because of a shellfish allergy.
Elina Uriaev: Great tasting menu. Intimate and cozy restaurant, with great food, wine list and excellent service. We were there for a birthday dinner and they were very accommodating to someone in our party with gluten allergy and another person who is pesceterian.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Rebekah Dale: Probably some of the best service I've ever had. The staff made us feel immediately welcome upon arrival and the bartender made a superb drink recommendation that I probably wouldn't have ordered on my own. We ate in the greenhouse, which was a super cute and cozy private dining experience. Aside from the drink, our food highlights were also the rosemary honey butter and the white truffle cacio e pepe. Our waiter was wonderful throughout the evening. We loved that the restaurant includes a fee (instead of a tip) to cover reasonable wages for all of their staff. Still left a tip anyway since the service was above and beyond.
Isaac Julien: Delicious!!Recommended dishes Honey Butter, Foie Gras Torchon, Gnocchi, Wine Pairing …More
Hugues Le Bras: We had the tasting menu. Every dish was delicious and the price was very fair for the quality and quantity. The service was efficient and friendly. They even offered our table an excellent pear cider to pair with dessert. We will come back for sure.My only suggestion would be to have a little more extensive wine list by the bottle (although we enjoyed the one we picked).
Barbara Konchinski: This place is an absolute gem. Every dish we tried was fantastic, the staff made absolute every moment feel extra special, the atmosphere is cozy-romantic. Really looking forward to returning for their tasting menus.
Evan Roberts: Everything about Talulla was exceptional. We came here a couple of weeks ago for our four year anniversary, and it was exactly what I was hoping for. My partner went with the tasting menu and I ordered a la carte. We love when food is an experience, and not only was everything delicious, it was an adventure as well. Service was great and the wine recommendations were perfect for our meals. Would definitely visit again!
Jamie Pavlovsky: Phenomenal food and great service! Not sure how they made something as seemingly basic as broccoli soup taste so scrumptious! The spare rib with lentils and pumpkin fell apart at the touch, very flavorful. And my husband really enjoyed the tasting menu, especially the scallops and wagyu steak. It’s a small restaurant with a cozy vibe, would highly recommend.
Andrew Hawes: An absolute pleasure visiting Talulla. Conor and his attentive team took great care of us, and made us feel at home while we indulged in absolutely amazing food. Everything we ate and drank was spot on- ask the team for recommendations and they will not disappoint. Well done, very impressed Conor and Danielle!
Joyce Wen: All the dishes are a little bit salty, and the stubborn chef didn’t take our suggestions, won’t visit again.
Cecile Braun-Jones: Quiet space which was just what we needed.Sat across the door which is covered with heavy curtains that the staff carefully keeps closed so cold outside air doesn't hit you every time the door opens. I much appreciated the attention they gave to that detail.Outside dinner pods available if that is your thing.Shared an amazing butternut soup - which got plated in two separate bowls- and kale salad which was quite large and tasty Ordered the bread as well which came with seasoned buttered you can't get enough of. Roasted squash risotto was incredible, squash was included in different forms that added to the depth of the meal. Delicious.Too stuffed for dessert after that.Service was good too.Reservation recommended
Edward Fleming: Good food good drinks

Salma Shawa: 0 stars if i could. No seasonings on anything, not even salt and pepper. Potato was severely undercooked too. Overpriced with no value added.

Aude-Marie Alem: Beautiful surprise, simple is good!We came for Easter and the food was fresh from the farm, meat was amazing and cooked perfectly.I highly recommend! And service was very friendly and efficient too.
Nolan Shapiro: Overall, I thought the food was good but nothing super special. I ordered the pork chop which was nice (juicy, well cooked, and flavorful), but I thought my friend’s salmon was small portioned and a bit bland and my other friend’s steak was a bit tough and the red wine reduction was too pungent. My main problem was with the service, though. They kicked us out at 9:52 pm. We were done our dessert and just chatting, and they asked us (and about 5 other tables to leave). It was a Saturday night… who closes that early! I understand closing the kitchen, but to ask guests to leave the dining room before 10pm seems shocking to me. Overall, the food was not good enough to return (it was also very expensive).

Jaye Aster Broder: Henrietta’s Table is a strong 4 in my book. Located in the Charles Hotel, it is a nice place to go as a group or with family visiting Cambridge. There is a good mix of meat and vegetarian options. The staff is very attentive. The quality was very strong with a number of local ingredients. We had the scrod, which was haddock our night, and the salmon. You can make a reservation here on Open table.

CNI Global: Despite the food being less than stellar, the staff, the courtesy and the care they showed made it worth it. Culturally diverse wait staff with amazing stories made the time sitting fly by, as we watched for our food. The attention of our server was appreciated. The environment is friendly and the clientele from every age group -except adolescent- and it was just as much fun to watch everyone. I thoroughly enjoyed myself. And, to be honest, I wanted the food to match so very much.In fact, I chose this place because of the chef and his story. My guests expected included professional chefs and I thought they would enjoy it as well, the picky bunch of them, lol. I am saddened by the mediocre epicurean experience. I wish it had been better because everything else was marvelous. For the record, I waited to deliver my review because I hoped I would have a chance to go back. I will head elsewhere instead. Shame.

Jaye Aster Broder: Harvest is a reasonably large space with a nice brunch that can host private events. Overall the quality of the American style food was very good but the poached eggs in the eggs Benedict were unevenly cooked across multiple orders. One egg was poached normally with a runny yolk and one was over cooked; photo is posted. Whatever containers are used for making the cheesecake don’t release well so there were visible chunks of cheesecake missing along the sides. I might recommend Harvest for brunch celebrations but not as a go-to.

It did take ever so slightly long to get our food. But it wasn’t a big deal. The food for most part was pretty damn good. I would definitely go here again, to literally eat the same thing. We got:Vegetarian chili- 9/10. I do wish it was a little more spicy. But it was flavorful neverthelessEast coast oysters: 7/0. I am allergic to seafood but from what I heard, it sounded like the oysters were not worth the priceEggs Benedict: 9/10 well cooked eggs, salmon and very flavorfulHarvest breakfast: 8/10 we asked for over easy eggs, but it looked like it was slightly overcooked. The bacon was a little too greasy, but super crispy and yummy. The sourdough was lathered in butter and basically fried which made it tasty but also super crunchy and greasy.Overal we did really like this place and will definitely go there again.
