Ming Yang: I wanted to get a gold necklace repaired (just soldering a tiiiiiiiiiiiny opening that got ripped back together, like so tiny that you can’t even see unless you squint) and I was quoted $20 by the woman. I thought it was high at first but I had already made the trip there. Later when I picked it up, the man charged me $15. I didn’t say anything, that means that there was no set price on it and they charge you however much they felt they could. And that means that the women thought she could charge me $20 (and she was right) so she did. I’m a young looking girl and I’ve gotten ripped off A LOT because of how I look. (And I called the store before hand so they know I was aiming to go there and wasn’t going to say no and go somewhere else) I placed my trust because of the good review, and they took advantage of that. If she overcharged me by a whooping 25% when she feel like she can for something this small, I think she will over charge me for my engagement ring. So, NO, I will not be buying my engagement ring here.

Sean even cleaned and polished my engagement ring while I took ages deciding on a band. My parents are lawyers, and they had sued a “reputable” chain jeweler for something that should have been filed by the prosecutor, because it was downright criminal. Therefore, I was very skeptical going into ring shopping. However, I eventually found Danny and I was first taken by how I really liked the unique rings on his website unlike the mass produced ones that all looked the same.I then went on to read pretty much every entry he had written on his blog, I stayed up until 4 A.M. the night I found it reading, and by the time I was done I felt like he was a friend of mine. I then went in to meet him and got to know him even better. He is honest, passionate, and skilled with his work.My now fiancé and I are engineers, and I came into Daniel’s shop thinking I wanted to buy a synthetic (lab grown, but real) diamond for the engagement ring. I thought it would be really neat, and thought my girlfriend would think it was cool as well. He told me the reasons why he didn’t recommend it, and things to be careful about, but said if that is what I wanted to do, he would be happy to set it into one of his rings. I ended up doing some more research, and decided he was right from the beginning. I ended up buying an ideal cut natural diamond from him instead. I ended up with a fairly priced, custom made, and very beautiful engagement ring.

Leaha Wynn: This jewelry shop is great for the visitor or for the residents. They receive new stock orders every week or so, so there is never a boring moment when re-visiting this shop. Most of their merchandise is also fairly priced as well. There is also a large tradition of selling local artist's jewelry so that you can branch out to new and exciting jewelry styles. Dropping by on a nice day is always easy and fun. Two thumbs up for me for this store!

Steven Salzwedel: The ring buying process was easy, nice options and easy to work with. I was told about the 0% financing option however I was not told this was infact signing up for a credit card...now I have a credit card being sent to an address on my I.D. which is not the address I currently live as I just moved here.

Rashed Alananzeh: I dropped off my watch for a battery change and glass shine. I was told that it would only take 4-6 weeks. They said they would have to send it out and I would hear back soon. Weeks went by and I had to call on multiple occasions, they always informed me that we were still waiting to get a quote. They finally called me with a quote in 7 weeks and I approved. I informed that I needed it by a specific date and was told that it would be done by then. As the date approached, I would call and ask if it was done, I was told they haven't received it, but that they would call and get BACK to me. On numerous occasions, no one would answer the phone. I was told so by THREE different employees and a manager they would call to check on it and get back to me. I never received a call back. I had called after the date passed and they said it was ready where they stated "we just received it." I asked if someone is able to pick it up for me because it took longer than 10 weeks and I was out of state at that point, they refused. I also complained of the time it took and they said they could offer a 10% discount. I personally think that I should get more off as their time line was completely off and they NEVER called back when they said they would. This was a disappointment, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Do not waste your time and money to never get called back or have your watch fixed on time.

Robert Greenwood: I had bought my girlfriend a necklace the day before Xmas eve. After I left Kay I did some more shopping. At some point my purchase was either lost or stolen. After retracing my steps I gave up hope and returned to Kay to buy another necklace. I got there right before they closed and told them what had happened and was helped by an employee named Amanda. Now I work in the service industry and I’m amazed at how helpful she was. Not only was she EXTREMELY knowledgeable in helping me pick out a new necklace, She took down all my info so she could have mall security check the cameras to see if my original purchase could be found. She also got me the best price possible on a new necklace. She was so helpful that I can’t even list every way she came up in the clutch.The thing I appreciate the most is that they were in the process of closing so I expected everyone to be annoyed I was there but everyone (especially Amanda) went above and beyond. I thought I had washed my hands enough after handling some acetone, unfortunately going from washing hands in bathroom sink to picking up my earring...there definitely was some acetone residue on my fingers because they immediately became damaged. If they were real amber that would never have happened. Acetone would have evaporated on real amber. They are some kind of resin maybe entirely plastic, maybe copal, but definitely not real amber. Buy your jewelry somewhere else, save yourself from fraud.
