Jacob Hammond: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Miso Soup, Sushi, Sweet Potato Tempura RollMore
Maxine Pestronk: Would have been five stars yet their Chirashi leaves much to be desired. Just slapped fish on rice, no vegetables no garnish not really worth the price.
Adriane Musgrave: Food: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Atmosphere: 1/5More
zac a: Coming from the west coast (that's my hook), it was ok. The prices were reasonable, and so was the food, not great, but reasonable. Wouldn't recommend the scallop hand roll (wasn't fresh to my taste), but the fish was good and fresh. I love Tobiko with egg, and was happy to see it on the menu, but it was goopy because they left the egg white (you're supposed to only use the yolk). The hand rolls are worth while, good price and quantity, get that.Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian rolls.
Brandi Peña: The Somerville location has better quality and taste of food.Food: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Tim Russell: Vegetarian options: They have plenty of veggie rollsRecommended dishes Sweet Potato Tempura Roll, Roll, Gyoza …More
Kenneth Livingston: A little pricey but great sushi!
Guangyang Li: Food is fine but overpriced
Mike Dunn: Kind of blah
Stephen Yuwono: The taste is superrrr terrible. The worst Japanese food I’ve tried in USA. The cooking oil also bad, got sore throat after eating here.
Stephen Zicha: Salmon and yellowtail Sashimi was great. But the signature ichiban sushi dish clearly had canned tuna. Will not order that again.
Drenusha Krasniqi: The rolls are tasteless (we had three different rolls). And the veggie dumplings are okay. Definitely not worth the price.
Nathaniel Huang: Don't come to this place, if you value cuisine in any way, shape, or form do not come here. I am in no place to argue prices but for what we got for the price at which we got it, I have nothing else to leave with other than a feeling of deep dissatisfaction. Not only did they charge nearly $3 for a cup of tea, an offering usually synonymous with a free glass of water when it comes to Asian restaurants, but there were numerous points at which I was concerned with overall cleanliness. I still want to provide something positive and have this be somewhat legitimate criticism rather than a spirited rant so I will say that the service was decent and the food alright. Nothing more than an average if not slightly below average restaurant.
KAINOA A: Absolutely love this establishment and location. The server and staff are always so friendly! Food is always consistent and so tasty and very reasonably priced! Always come to this location and does not disappoint at all. Recommend!!!
Bo Jiang: As a doordash guy, I am gaving one star because the lady manager behave in harsh, pushy, and unprofessional way.

Mae Asian Eatery: what do users think?
Jim Manning: If you have not been here yet, don’t wait! The food is excellent, quite authentic and such a delight. The restaurant is run by a wonderful couple, she’s the chef, and he runs the front of the house. Every single dish here I’ve gotten was tasty. Can’t recommend it enough. It’s great for dining, and they have outdoor seating as well.Recommended dishes Indonesian Fried Rice, Crispy Pad Thai Noodles, Pineapple Fried Rice, Mango Curry with Chicken, Spring Roll, Crispy Pad Thai Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Vegetarian menu or section …More
Charlotte Darby: Always crowded at lunch in the small dining area, but for good reason! All the lunch items are tasty and filling portions.
JK: The thing I will say about this place is that they care about the food and about the customer experience. Food menu is well thought out and they take pride in their delivery. Great service, friendly people. Decent wine and beer selection.
Julia Sullivan: Kind service, authentic food and epic tasteA must have Asian food when in Cambridge
Rebecca Jung: Reviewing based on lunch offerings (since dinner menu is very different and has more variety but I haven't tried them yet)Aesthetics is nice, the staff is helpful, and food comes out quick. However I think the food itself is average. It probably doesn't help that the expectations that was set by the menu (not many choices and you must pick a dish and appetizer or get charged $10) and the hype surrounding the place sets a bar that this place is special or "fancier" than the normal southeast Asian restaurant. It advertises itself as a fusion between Thai, Vietnamese, and Chinese, but it feels like a compromise of all three. The ingredients of the dishes are comprised of things that you can find in the US normally (for ex. Thai green curry could have had the thai round eggplants instead of Chinese eggplant, etc.) And on the subject of the number of ingredients, the chive fried dough barely had any chives (like countable on one hand for each triangle piece). The taste of the food isn't bad, but the one main thing that stands out is how sweet everything is, without much spice. I'm not here to judge things based on "authenticity" only; it just feels like the dish didn't come together well in general for what it is.Overall, I just don't think that there's anything that sets the food itself apart from other restaurants at least for how the lunch menu is structured.
Andrew Kalil: Good place for lunch--tastyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Dan M: Great eclectic Asian food and quick service. Highly recommend!
T. Z: The tomyum soup was kinda plain, I ordered take out and was taken aback by how stingy they were on the ingredients.
Patricia Rodriguez: The food is delicious. It's a cozy little place, warm and inviting with great service.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Jarvis Chen: Good Thai food! One of the best Tom Yum Soups in Cambridge, great drunken noodles and Khao Soi
Katja Schroeder: D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S! 👌🏻 Highly recommend the Duck Noodle Soup.Recommended dishes Pork and Shrimp Shumai …More

Karan Gupta: Nice authentic Asian food. Tried thai pad noodles and drunken noodles both taste yum. Visited multiple times there and the restaurant never disappoints.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Crispy Pad Thai, Drunken Noodle …More
Lillian Holland: We got delivery from here last night and it was incredible. Everything is what you expect but elevated - you can tell the dishes are cooked with care and good ingredients. They also followed my request I added (to remove an ingredient) and they did and noted it on the container itself! Everything was above and beyond. My only complaint is that we didn't find this place sooner.
Tim Likarish: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Chicken Wings Spicy, Crispy Pad Thai, Indonesian Fried RiceMore
Ashley Qu: Still one of my favorite restaurants in Cambridge. Food is spectacular and consistent. The owners are so friendly and accommodating. Even though we don't live nearby anymore, we still make an effort to bring our out-of-town friends and family to this local joint. They also sell alcohol now too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Pad Krapow Gai, Spring Roll, Chicken Wings Spicy, Tom Yum Soup, Khao Soi, Indonesian Fried Rice, Drunken Noodle …More

Pro Driver: Very cozy, friendly. The Pineapple Fried Rice was amazing. The Banana Spring roll for dessert is a must look try. 10/10.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Anna V: Great small restaurant. Quick to ask about and make substitutions for food preferences or allergies. The owner took our order, his wife is the chef. Try the Kah Moo small plate. The fried coconut fritters in it are amazing and like nothing I’ve ever tried before and they are from the chef’s hometown.

Brittany Ray: Perfection. Hands down the best bowl of ramen I’ve ever had. I love supporting a business who give back to the community and values it’s customers.
MIKEY B: Ramen is good however owner Jake is generally unpleasant to interact with though. @Jake I saw your message and would love to connect. If you reach out via email we can chat more.
Irfan Quraishi: Came out with complimentary water in the hot sun, 11/10
G Unit: My dream is to finish my bowl ;)
Christine Lee: Delicious food, 10/10 staff! I always recommend this place to friends who visit the Boston/Cambridge area
John McCarthy: Dudes, just go, man.Recommended dishes Pork Ramen Extra Garlic, Spicy Pork Ramen …More
Christine Chao: Come for the ramen, return for the experience.Wait: there is generally a line starting around 3:30 and the ordering system opens at 4:45. It is worth it to get there early as I had a great experience being part of the first group of people to be served (different from other times when I have showed up later)Food: there is usually only two options: ramen with 2 pieces of pork or ramen with 5 pierces of pork. The noodles have a great chew and the pork is always cooked to tender perfection. And of course, you must always say yes to “delicious garlic.
Dylan Souter: Amazing. Their noodles are a work of art
Jessica Costas: I eat here at least twice a month! Best ramen and the best people!
Justice: Visited Boston over the summer during the pandemic and had Yume’s ramen to go. This is one of the best ramens I’ve had and have been a follower since. Can’t wait to go back and share my dreams. Hope to try one of the specials one day.Recommended dishes Pork Ramen Extra Garlic Dietary restrictions accommodated None of the above …More
Rodrigo Carrascosa: This place si worth traveling to Boston just to experience once, from the great original Yume ramen Jake makes, to the experiences from different pop-ups. Also the good energy in the place. Been here over 100 times, and plan on coming back as much as I am able to. Very filling meal, so prepare yourself mentally:)
Sam Seiwert: I’ve never met someone so obsessed with perfection in their craft. It is admirable and yume goes above and beyond to deliver the best product that is possible-or they will not serve it. If you have a complaint, LET HIM KNOW! He would be disappointed if you came in and your experience wasn’t as perfect as it can be. This is how we grow! If you haven’t been, try it!
Christina Cola: I always have such an amazing experience when I come here! The ramen is amazing and everyone who is here from the staff to the customers make the experience so fun and truly an experience you don’t have anywhere else. The bowls are so filling and so flavorful!!! Must go!
nick gabrielli: 👌🏻
Kevin Zhou: As a neurotic rock brained boy who struggles with choices, I love that there's only really one thing on the menu. This place is a timeless Boston classic where dreams are forged and bellies are filled.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Truong Nguyen: This gave me hypertension and kidney damage. The wait was terribly long if you arrive when the shop opens. I waited 40 minutes and I was within the first 15 people that arrived. Obviously when one waits that long, the food should be worth the wait. Needless to say, it was NOT WORTH THE WAIT. The ramen noodles were too hard and not the type of ramen you expect. They're almost amateur made; hard, lumpy, and uneven. However the ramen wasn't the worse part. The soup was almost pure soy sauce with lumps of fat. It was so so so salty. Imagine drinking flavored seawater!!! I will give kudos to the meat portions. It was tender and unctuous! Finally the shop is tiny and claustrophobic. I was shoulder to shoulder with another patron. They ask you if you would like to make a wish after which I thought was a little too much for someone with social anxiety.
Proddy Sukcharoen: Hands down to the best ramen place in Boston! Worth the 30 minute wait outside in the cold. Staff were very friendly and cheerful! Nothing beats the signature pork ramen with extra delicious garlic 😋. Generous portions. We lined up for one of the last seatings of the night and it turns out that the broth at the end of the night was very concentrated in flavor which make the whole dining experience even more wonderful! Would definitely be back again.

KC Chen: Everything at the restaurant was great especially the yakitori! The vibe was nice, staff was friendly and very efficient. Super affordable! There is a line so do make reservations ahead of time!Would definitely recommend!
Marc: When asked by a friend how the food was, "Love in a bowl" was the first thing that came to mind.Absolutely incredible.
Tian Zhao: Our first visit since its relocation from Allston. Grilled hokke (atka mackerel) was too salty, and fried beef tongue was a bit overcooked. The others were pretty good. Would recommend fried oysters, chicken namban, and yakitori.
Jiayu Shi: I really enjoyed the food at this restaurant and plan to come back often. However, I've noticed that like some restaurants in Boston, the waiter swipes your card in front of you at checkout and asks you to enter the tip in front of them. The minimum tip amount is set at 18% of the total price after tax, with tipping options of 18%, 20%, and 22%. Personally, I don't appreciate this type of behavior from restaurants and it makes me uncomfortable.
Ryan Wetzel: We've gone out to the new hot spots all over and come to realize, some of the absolute best are the staples that have been around for the long haul. Varied menu from yakitori to sashimi to noodles, you won't find better Japanese food in Boston. Prices are reasonable and solid selection of Japanese beers and sake. Took me 20 years to find this gem and will definitely be back.
Nicholas Panzarella: Great Japanese cuisine. Authentic, too!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Bella Wang: Okonomiyaki was tasty. I’m not a connoisseur but it was satisfying. I’m mostly reviewing this so I can remind myself never to order the sushi again. It’s terrible and not fresh. It came out last because I think they were defrosting it. Rice was soggy and unseasoned too.
Nhu Phung: Great food! Taste like Im back in japan, highly recommend everything--okonomiyaki, skewers, nigiri etc.
Biao Li: In comparison to other Izayaka locations in Boston, this is by far the best one. Super busy on weekends but well worth the wait. Friendly staff and service.
Nana: I’ve been going there for months, super good!Parking: Lots of parking
Mona Ma: Opens 4pm on Sunday😭they have the best Okonomiyaki in BostonRecommended dishes Original Pork Okonomiyaki …More
Elena “Rena” Christian: Always an amazing time at Ittoku ❤️My friend and I were in a rush and the staff were able to get us in and out in 30 mins. I really appreciate what the wait staff and back of house did to accommodate us. And despite the time crunch the food was amazing!Dietary restrictions: Nut allergy friendly
