When i questioned it i was told thats the way it works and its pretty much tough luck if i dont like it. I feel this is false advertisement as i should not have had to pay for the next 30 day. So please be aware before signing anything as this was not explained to me. Oh and the gate dont work either.

mark z: We have recently closed are unit in this establishment... although the prices were fair and the places was clean, the hours were absolutely horrible.. they closed at 6 during the week so if you were going to try and get in you had to rush to get there and there wasnt any time to make a second trip to the unit... and the weekend the prime time for moving they would be open half a day and if you were lucky they would be there the entire time on sundays...I would have closed it months ago if I could have gotten In to get my stuff out

laura gentile: A-Lowell has the lowest indoor storage pricing in the area!! I am a repeat customer because the staff is honest, fair and I felt very comfortable storing my furniture in such a clean, secure place. Moving is stressful!! It is wonderful to see that great customer service still exists.

I've had a unit here for almost two years and would recommend it to my closest friends. The thing about indoor storage is the temperature and moisture remains mild so your belongings don't get destroyed like when using outdoor storage units.

Keith Fadden: February 2020 I just rented a storage unit to temporarily store the contents of a house. This facility is super clean. The climate controlled units are very easily accessible. If you decide to rent here, reserve on the website for a significant discount on the price.February 2023 I have just emptied my storage unit after 3 years of storing some family estate items.I rented a climate controlled unit to preserve the furniture and other heirlooms. The facility is well maintained and really spotless. The environment is warm in winter and cool in summer. After 3 years of storage, all items were in the same condition as when originally stored. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone who needs to store items safely.During this time, I worked with Rick who manages the facility.He does a great job keeping the facility in good shape and he is great to talk to and do business with.

Shawn Scalley: Went there twice to unload a truckload of valuables, but could not because the storage unit had a big puddle of water. I was told there was no water issues. The third time I drove all the way there The storage unit was frozen shut, and when I went to ask how to open the door The answer I got was unfortunately you'll have to wait until it unfreezes. So once again I am stuck with a truckload of stuff I have nowhere to put? What a waste of time and money!

Freidrichm: For the price you pay it’s okay, and their customer service is very responsive and friendly. However, the main problem is the storage units are infested with mice. They even built a nest in my belongings which was disgusting. The whole time we were there we we couldn’t breathe and our throats were very irritated due to mouse droppings, dust and mouse urine smell. They could definitely do better with pest control.

Richele Miller: Updating my review after my experience with Tom today. From 1 star to 5 stars because of this guy. He deserves a raise for that positive vibe and smile.Rates are high and increase regularly. My unit was not climate controlled and I did need to throw some stuff away due to mold growth from the environment in the building. They did find me a unit on the spot though and that’s what I get for not doing research.Needed to talk to a rep during normal business hours but the office door was locked with the rep sitting outside in her maroon jeep liberty smoking a cigarette. She watched me walk up to the door and try to open it yet said nothing to me and proceeded to open it up once I got in my car and was already pulling out. Also their rates are kind of insane. There’s better options.

She went above and beyond just to make sure I was satisfied. Even though I was not ready to rent at the moment as it's not for me. She was still very thorough. GREAT asset to this company. Norman Franks: I had an appointment to rent a storage unit at the Westford, MA. location. I knocked on every door, without luck. I called the number to that property, and was told to leave a nu.ber and someone would get right back to me, that was over 24 hours ago, still haven't heard back! Called the district office, but could not leave a message. Called the national number, and was told that the reservation I made needed to be rescheduled, because nobody was available for my original reservation. Today I was sent an email asking why I missed my appointment!!!As a 100% disabled veteran , I'm appalled at the treatment I received from this company. I stood around for over an hour, with a fully loaded vehicle to put into storage. This company should be ASHAMED!

Sandy, the property manager, and her co-worker, Connor, were unfailingly friendly, helpful, and responsive. They answered questions, returned calls, and followed up when they said they would. I hope the Public Storage company realizes what an asset they have in these two employees.The storage unit itself was clean and climate-controlled, the “paperwork” was able to be done entirely online, and the cost was reasonable. I recommend this business without reservation.

They were up front about the terms and conditions for my thirty day stay. You have options to pick from (size, indoor vs outdoor, ground level vs upstairs) and the drive up check-in process via keypad is painless. My ground unit necessitated buying a $20 Chateau cylinder lock, but you keep it after closing your rental. Setting up an online account is quick, and any accommodations can be made easily. Thank you to Public Storage Westford for helping me and my family with the move!

Frank Palladino: When I joined, the staff were friendly and the place was clean and well organized. Two months ago there was a surprise price hike of 50%. Now, I know the business model, so that alone wasn't enough to turn me off. However that event seems to coincide with a huge reduction in staff hours. I guess they laid off the friendly staff I mentioned before, because I have never seen anyone in the office every time I've gone there over the last two months and it has been multiple times at different times of day. So much so that Ive had to pay my bill online for the last 2 months which involves a large convenience fee I've learned. Fee aside it felt good knowing someone was at the facility a portion of the time. Seems like they aren't any longer.(Update Edit on 4/16)The problem I mentioned, namely where there were consistently no staff there while visiting the site, has been resolved after a period where the situation persisted of around 5-6 months. The new staff that are there are different now and are there often enough to be reasonably expected. I am improving my review score from 2 stars to 4 stars in light of this fact since this resolves my main issue. I liked the old staff. The new staff are fine. I haven't had time to get to know them as well but have no problems or issues with them.

art lady: Rates are decent. Units are clean. There is a bathroom on the main level. But know 2 things. 1) don’t expect assistance after initial payment. Sign says they close at 6pm but mid-afternoon, you won’t any staff there. I waited around for almost 1-hr for someone to assist me, the office was still dark when I left as it was the hour prior. 2) all storage units are not well lit. You only have the lighting from the hallway. There aren’t lights above any of the units at all. Bring a battery powered campfire light.

M Saber: Two thumbs up! This location has many storage units of different sizes and all are very clean and well-maintained. The property manager Jim is friendly, very attentive, and professional. Once when we unwittingly failed to close our lock on our exterior drive-up 10’ x 20’ unit, Jim noticed and called me to alert me about it, which I greatly appreciated. This storage business and location are excellent all around.
Contact Knight: Excellent facility. Many units, all clean, good supervision and security, easy to access, and great staff. We’ve used many different storage units in several states and this one has been the best. Highly recommend.
