Shawn Jordan: I used to have no problems filling prescriptions here. I'm not sure what changed, but it seems like it's management at this point, because the workers are doing the best with what they have, but they seem run ragged. I've been trying to fill a script for 10 days now. The Dr. has been on the phone with them 5 times now, each time they tell me that they have spoken with the manager and that the script should be good to go. It when I go it to get it, it says they still need approval and they need more information. It's for something that measures blood sugar. This has been an absolute nightmare. Whoever the manager is that is telling us that it's all good to go is obviously not communicating that with anyone else, nor in their system. My Dr. Is telling me to get it filled somewhere else because of how much of a pain this has been. Wasting my time on the phone, waiting around in the store. Go somewhere else until they get someone competent in there to run the show.
Duke Chheng: Been going to this pharmacy for a while now. Never had an issues until recently the night shift pharmacist will ignore all phone calls and leave you waiting for hours. So I drove there and she wouldn’t refill my script saying it’s too early when it was only a few days early. Made me wait until 6am to pick up my meds 🤦‍♂️.

Wen Gu (wen): The pharmacy is the worst. I purchased an eyedrops (oropatadine, just for allergy redness and itchiness)prescribed by my former pcp for 247 dollars, while there are plenty of alternatives you can get by the counter for about 10 bucks. The physician at Walgreens didn’t mention that at all. When I called to question them, the lady on the phone refused to admit that there were alternatives, and literally laughed at me for paying 247 and told me I can’t return it because it’s their policy.
Vanessa Rivera: i was an employee at walgreens. i always made it to work even if it was a few minutes late. sometimes my whole shift im standing in the register and personally i cant becausse my knee is messed up. and when i told them about it they didnt really care unless i had “proof of a doctors note”. i was offered a chair and then i was told “it’s unprofessional to sit down” an hour later but if my knee is in pain what can i do? i still showed up for work because no one cared. there was times where i got no sleep and was still begged to come into work because no one was working and it was put onto me. and i constantly picked up shifts because i needed the money. one day i just needed a day off because my knee hurted and the boss of the store tells me “it looks like you dont want to work here” over my knee hurting.. and i was still a minor at the time. i only worked there for a few months and quit in july because the people there are so rude and dont care at all. and all the other employees i was friends with would agree with this. no one liked working here.
Brit S: Everytime I go there, it takes so long my entire schedule gets ruined just for a pickup order. I have waited for 25 minutes for them to take 2 cars in a three car line. It is not because of complications in any individual order because this constantly happens. The other one on Middlesex street is worse because they literally don't give you the prescriptions because they're always out of stock or don't know how to transfer scripts or deal with insurance in any proper manner. Terrible service and I can't just sleep before my second job, and personally I can no longer study today like I was supposed to. Why? Walgreens on plain st in lowell...
mr&mrs Mastrullo: Waited in the pharmacy with a fussy baby for 45 minutes with two cars in front of me. The person at the window rang the bell three times and no one answered before I left without even getting my medication. Being short staff isn't an excuse anymore. This is absurd.
rob santoro: I would rate this place a -5 if I could this place is terrible I came here at 12-noon to drop pills off wich took the 20 mins at the window then they told me it would be ready at 1:30 then I came back to pick up the medications at 1:50 they told me 30 more minutes so I was aggravate so I waited until 2:15 then they were still not done so I flipped out on them saying I want the medication now wich they told me I need to wait another 15 minutes the pharmacy is terrible and needs to fire all there employees and get people who will actually get the job done by when they say/on time

Sam Kong: Been a customer at the pharmacy since 2005 but today I decided to switch to a different pharmacy because since Covid they have been so slowww in terms of getting medicines out to customer( usually at least 30-40 mins at the drive-through). Today I had to get down to the pharmacy because my mom prescription had no more refill so normally they would fax her provider to get a new prescription and everything would be all set but nope I spent about 1.5 hours calling them explaining that the provider already faxed over a new refill order( they have confirmation number) but Walgreen’s staff kept insisting they didn’t get it. I would ended up calling my mom provider again and again to confirm this information, it’s been 72 hours and still the same problem. I called walgreen back and asked them nicely to call the provider because they kept telling me they already faxed it over. The person on the line refused to call my mom provider, they all said they’re too busy and it isn’t their responsibility to call since they already faxed it. I basically said thank you and went straight on site to ask one of the pharmacist to call for me since my mom is out of her medication. She was nice enough to call for me, took only 5 mins and I got the medicine within 45 mins. Things would’ve been so much easier if the staff would just calls instead of telling customers they already faxed refills order and there’s nothing more they can do.
Elisha Sidoti: Anyone who has ever used this pharmacy and gave it more than 1 star is obviously being paid for the review. This is BY FAR the worst pharmacy I have ever used. 3x now I have come to pick up medicine that should have been ready at 8am and at after 5pm I've been told it's not ready yet and it will be a minimum of 2 hours. Tried calling on the phone to check if they're ready and I waited for over an hour only to get hung up on the second someone "answered" This place is HORRIBLE

Robert Clark: For a couple of years, the pharmacy had the same people, and were adequately staffed with helpful, patient, and knowledgeable employees. The past year and a half has been intolerable. Always woefully understaffed, constant turnover, combative, impatient, and poorly trained staff. I’ve never seen a downturn like this. Finally transferred everything to another pharmacy.
kayla thomas: Every single time I come in here, it's awful. The older brunette woman who is either the manager or just has seniority over the younger employees, is just absolutely horrible. Her attitude is ugly every time I've come in contact with her. Nobody knows how to do anything here. This Walgreens needs a better training program.

There is an employee who is the rudest person, he never wants to give discounts, he speaks disrespectfully and claims to be the manager of the store when he is not. Although the store manager is the same or worse than him, I saw an employee cry for the mistreatment of this employee (an elderly man from India) Now I opted to go to CVS. at least they treat me with respect. I hope that at some point action will be taken on this store.

Sarah T.: I was truly astonished by the assistance and compassion I was shown today by the manager Carlos and floor associate Jhanley. I contacted the store to purchase a wheelchair for my 97 year old grandmother. Carlos was helpful over the phone and checked to ensure they had one in stock. I needed it today as my grandmother's mobility has quickly declined, and I could not wait for insurance approval to get one through her plan. When I arrived at Walgreens frazzled and in a rush, I was helped by Jhanley who assisted me in finding the wheelchair and a plastic bed pad for Gram. After this, she called Carlos to help me carry the wheelchair. He hoisted it up, brought it up front, opened a register to ring me in, helped looked for discounts, and carried it out to my car. I cannot thank this store, and these two employees enough. I was able to get the wheelchair back to Gram's house and assist her health aid in getting her out of bed. My grandmother is the matriarch of a huge family and means the world to me. Getting bed sores and being bed bound will only come with dire consequences, so I am so grateful for the assistance and help today. Thank you, Carlos and Jhanley- it "takes a village" and you both played a huge role in aiding my family today. Also, thank you Walgreens for having the wheelchair in stock and the other medical supplies we needed! ♡
Goose Moose Juice: I have a very bad experience going to walgreen here on Middlesex st. In Lowell, MA. I dropped by walgreen because it was on my way home. I grab the stuff I needed and waited in line for my turn. When it's my turn, I put my items on the counter for it to be scanned. Right after the cashier ring up my tab. I asked the Cashier that I'm a Walgreen member, do I get a discount for the product. The cashier looked at me and says that this is what I bought, this is what it cost. I didn't get an answer for my question, so I pay and leave the place. There's a reason why people dislike coming to walgreen here, because the staff is very rude. Its gonna be my last time coming here.. I'm not the only one who think this way.
Enhanced Physique: Don't come here if your on any pain killers or addiction medicine. You will be looked down on AND you will not get your meds until you are fresh out of the last script. They won't give even 1 day early on a 30 day supply. Terrible people.

Christina Rohrbacher: I thought I could make an appointment for a quick flu shot but clearly this was a huge mistake. The pharmacy is dirty, I waited 20 minutes just to get the shot, and they didn’t have access to the patient questionnaire I filled out online. The pharmacy techs were openly discussing not feeling well and being sick but coming to work anyway. This place is a nightmare. Stay away.
Cindy Barnhart: I thought today the pharmacy staff did a great job. I was getting a covid booster and they were having trouble getting it to go through. But they got it to work and I got my booster shot. Very nice and pleasant people. Thank you for all your help!!

I asked the worker (Maria) there to help me and she was not FRIENDLY AND NOT HELPFUL AT ALL. She ignored me the first time when I asked her about the mascara. She told me I don’t work in the make up section and she just walked away and she did not even wait for me to finish my question. I came to the counter and asked if there is anyone working in the make up section to help me find another item that I needed but she just said NO. I left Walgreens without getting any items and just a dissatisfied service.

You do your part, call, set an appointment, come on time, and they still keep you waiting, no explanation, the line to pick up meds is always long, the employees are always confused about what is what and who is who. Kristi McDowell: In 3 years of living within this pharmacy's vicinity, I've not once been able to successfully pick up my medication in a timely manner. They only ever have 1 teenager working the pharmacy, where patients line up down an aisle in a store where mask policies are not enforced while their colleagues do who knows what back there but it's absolutely not processing prescriptions with any sense of urgency and wearing their masks under their noses. If there's anywhere for the omicron variant to breed, it's going to be where a gaggle of sick people are forced to into tight quarters with no protection.
Hamza: I went for a covid test and the result came back way passed 72h.Per regulations, you have to take the test within 72h but Walgreens can't guarantee that.If you ever need covid test for travel, I'd suggest CVS or a CVS rapid covid test (if it's acceptable) but never a normal Walgreens PCR as it's not reliable and you'll be risking losing your flight.
Katy Ortiz-Algarin: Went in to find a profuct which was a lower price on the Walgreens app for the location I was at... When I asked a associate if they priced matched online, I got a quick No. I also asked another associate and she seemed annoyed and just moved her head side to side.. So I decided to do a online order to pick it up since I was trying to save money. I then asked another associate if they recieved my order and asked her if they did price match, the polite young lady said ✔️Yes, only if the product is the exact one you want in the store and is not on Sale online. ✔️ (The product I needed was not on Sale). SpongeBob SquarePants: My printing order got purposely delayed from 12:00pm (original pickup time) all the way to 4:00pm (the time it was ready for pickup). The store doesn't seem busy, but it made me upset.
Jonathan Nevins: Pharmacy constantly hangs up after putting you on hold for 5+ minutes multiple times. Consistently mess up prescriptions resulting in delay of filling them. Awful customer service where they don't acknowledge you at the counter for multiple minutes. Just say I'll be with you in a minute as opposed to going right in front my and avoiding eye contact. From pharmacist on down.

They do not judge and everytime I have been in there I hear people yelling at them to try to get controlled substances filled early. Pharmacists have always been extremely helpful. Would not consider going anywhere else. They even go out of therre way to call me and let me if medicine is available ahead of time..UPDATE..for the past 2 weeks I have been callin because I know I had a medication on file and it turned out it was on file, two days before it was supposed to be filled. I was told it was there but they have no idea when I could pick it up. Not helpful at all am extremely disappointed by there tone of voice and demeanor. And rude attitude. Not helpful. Kayla Davis: The worst customer service. There was one cashier with a customer taking forever and another one (Stacy) who walked away when I got in line. I asked her if she could just grab a photo I ordered for me since the other guy was taking forever talking and I needed to get to work. She rudely says “wait in line”. As I’m waiting in line another lady is using the self checkout and she was having trouble, the checkout starts saying “help is on the way” very loud. The cashier who told me to wait in line was about 5 feet from her and could definitely hear it. Although she was doing nothing she just kept letting it say “help is on the way” until she finally came over. Stacy is rude and should not be someone who works a customer service kind of job.

Emma Johnson: Got my covid booster here. Katrina administered the shot and I didn't even feel it! Very impressed, I've never had a painless vaccine before. Everyone was super nice and it went so smoothly.
Katelyn Fone: Pharmacy is horrible when it comes to vaccinations second time I’ve walked or a scheduled appointment because after being on time and early I was told to be seated and wait just for a woman and her daughter to come in ten minutes later and ask if they have time for a flu shot and 3 minutes later they were taken back so 5 minutes after that I was annoyed and left. This happens there more than not they forget about you, for once cvs is better.

Amy Burns: Customer service experience is always spot on. Unless they're busy, I've always been greeted when I entered the building and acknowledged by someone while shopping. Everyone's so helpful and very friendly. This location is very clean. I don't use the pharmacy, because I've used CVS for years and will not change. I do recommend this Walgreens location though

Roberta Bergeron: Twice I went to pick up prescriptions inside the drugstore, twice the person at the pickup counter took care of all the people at the drive through pickup even though I was there before them and he just left me waiting even while he answered the phone. Nicole: Update. Original post at bottom.Because of the constant lying, irresponsibility, and cover up of the pharmacy staff, I have missed, lost, and taken the wrong kind of medications. My medications are getting filled according to my insurance and the app, only to be told by in store pharm techs that that didn't happen, it got filled and not picked up, or it isn't covered anymore (which it always is) and I need to pay out of pocket. I feel this is a tactic to trick me and allow CVS or whoever a chance to line their pockets. Either by me paying or my insurance for having to cover the extra meds. This has caused my PTSD, MDD and high anxiety to sky rocket. CVS literally has me in years over this. I am removing all my business from this company. I hope others due the same. Maybe they help some people sometimes, but personally they're killing me.2/2022 Original Post:Due to not actually checking my file to see there is a new prescription and calling me a liar, I went almost 2 weeks without my medication. Then the systems sends me a text asking about the new prescription. I call to clear the problem and get told again that I was wrong. Expect why would the system ask me about it. This finally convinced whoever answered the phone to actually check, and it was ready in 20 minutes....Good thing this wasn't life saving meds, although not having them did have me living in immense pain for those 2 weeks.Thanks for caring CVS

Adam Narinian: Thursday --- happened from about 7 to 830p by the time I left..... so.. Finally decided to drop this pharmacy. I was on hold and no one picked up after twenty minutes.. 3 times. One hour. You can hear the phone clicking back to rering them. .. So while I drove to the pharmacy still on hold, got to drivethru. As usual, 3 or 4 technicians working. I ask about why literally they are choosing to not answer the phone ( I can hear it ringing in the background) the technician says "we're short staffed" ok? I'm sorry to hear that but.. it's really no excuse to not answer phones.. at all.... For over an hour. nothing new really, everything at this cvs happens at horrible pace. Pretty sure everyone working there is completely numb to complaints and questions. Upper management really needs to look at this place. Huge huge output always 4 people working but always still slammed! There is a reason I go need to go to a 24 hour pharmacy to pick up my meds.. I've been to about 4 or 5 CVS over the course of my life and this one is one to avoid! Stay away.

Betty Smith: Went at this CVS to get some medicine, with a friend ( black Dominican), as I went for the medicine, my friend went to see makeup, as soon as she got the the makeup area they announced in the speaker for assistance to go there, the employee got there, didn’t offer any help to my friend and kept moving the same products back and forth, my friend got so uncomfortable she left and come to tell me what just happen, mind you my friend never asked for assistance, so I told my friend to wait by the medicine pick and I went next to the makeup, the speaker didn’t ask for assistance, and no store employee came to the makeup area, I moved things and even tried some ( I’m white), I’m baffled that in 2022 a store like CVS still targeting clients by race an ethnicity, if you care a little for a better world don’t shop at this store!

Robby Bennett: I called to see if my prescription was ready. And no one answered, two times I called. 10 minute wait before I hung up each time. I walked there in pain not knowing if they were ready, they were. While I waited for my turn I observed 5 people behind the pharmacy counter, 3 calls waiting on hold for them and I look around and 2 of those 5 were doing absolutely nothing! 1 of the 3 remaining that was working was absolutely rude to customers, older lady with gray hair in a bun, telling people where to stand in line and most barely speak English, just made worse. The store itself is never quick, store or pharmacy, self checkout is never working right and yet you walk through the store and there will be 3 or 4 employees screwing around in a aisle somewhere. And it’s busy. Rude managers! I live right across the street from the old cvs on Merrimack street and I knew everyone there. Courteous, smiling and respectful employees. You people really dropped the ball on closing Merrimack. And after today please delete out of your system, I won’t be coming back anytime soon! Just awful every time I go there.

Zuleyka R: I barely ever go to this cvs. Yesterday I decided to stop in super quick grab some things and go! While I was there the second I walked in a lady with black straight hair followed me, and kept watching me. I felt profiled, I felt judged, as if I was going to steal something I was there for a whole 7 minutes and felt uncomfortable shopping so I grabbed two things paid and left. I will never go back to this cvs. They profile and assume the worst of some people they didn’t follow anyone else just me and it was pretty obvious. Yesterday my wife went to pick up prescription that was sent from the doctors they said waits 20 minus. after 20 min not done. she back to pick up again 2 hrs. They said need to 30 min. Today my dad go to take a vaccine that was sent by the doctors. My dad do not understand what they told him. He call me to help translated and ask me to talk to her but she is not polite or helpful .. I wish all Manager CVS can see this comments. and training theirs employees to be professional staff for customer relation.
