There was no shut-off valve ,I had to shut the main water supply off . Stated Wednesday would be when a technician could come out. Why advertise 24-hour emergency service if Wednesday would be the earliest..... misleading the consumer with 24-hour emergency service .

Jenn Rychlik: I was told the tech would arrive in 30-45 minutes. When I called after 60 minutes, I was told he was 5 minutes away. 30 or so minutes later the tech showed. While the tech did what he was supposed and was knowledgeable, $700 to snake one pipe 22 feet is outrageous. Additional pipes would be hundreds of dollars more. I will use G&L (Drain away) next time. Included in the price was a free camera service, had I not called to follow up on this, I’m not sure I would have been called. To get a copy of the film is over $600…. Jaron Neutronix: I had a pipe leak water in my home in December. David M Murphy sent plumbers over to fix the problem. However the same area had a leak 9 months later. When I called David M Murphy and left a voicemail they did not get back to me. When I called their emergency line they did not get back to me. I hired a different plumber to fix the issue. They informed me that the work done by David M Murphy was shoddy and the pipe connection had fallen apart due to poor worksmanship. I informed David M Murphy and asked them to cover the damages. They told me they refused unless I file a claim with my homeowner's insurance. Now it looks like I have to take them to court to get reimbursement for an Issue that they caused. Avoid. At. All. Costs.

L: I scheduled two jobs with D Murphy plumbing. They failed to show for either job. I was later told by another property management company that owns several dozen units that they had a similar experience with D Murphy Plumbing either not showing or cancelling appointments at the last minute. My first scheduled job was urgent as it involved a very serious leak in a rental unit tub. I communicated that I needed 24 hours notice to shut off the water in that unit as the main valve would impact several other tenants. The other job was for a bathroom repair in my own home. We scheduled the jobs starting at 8:30am on a Thursday. By not showing up as promised (at 8:30am or any other time that day), Dave Murphy Plumbing inconvenienced not only my tenant who stayed home for the day to accommodate the work but several other tenants in the building who had their water shut off in anticipation of plumbing work. I will have to find another plumber and inconvenience them all over again. Dealing with D Murphy Plumbing was a time consuming and costly experience for me.
Jennifer DuLong-Tringale: We called several plumbers to replace our outside hose connections, and got no call backs. A large company got someone out to us in a couple of days but quoted us $1900. When I said absolutely not, suddenly that cost dropped to $900 if we did the work that day. Thank goodness their tactics left such a bad taste in my mouth, because that's how we found this company. They had someone out to us the next week who was friendly and professional. He did the work quickly and put everything back. The cost was half of the big company's fee! We will definitely do business here again!

Pedro Rodriguez: Easiest way to lose $125. I called for an estimate and was told my job was “too small” for a quote, so I was given an over the phone quote. I explained everything as best as I could and was told someone would come the next day at 7:30am (not enough to look at other quotes). The charge was going to be $125 an hour and it would be approximately 2-4 hours. The next day, I waited until 8:30 before someone came, right before I had to start working. He came in, assessed the situation, and told me something I already knew. He wouldn’t babble to do it until a walk was built. I appreciate the feedback, but I came at a price. Even though nothing was done, he had to charge me $200 just to visit. This was basically my quote. He lowered it down to $125, but it’s still $125 for a quote!!! This is unacceptable, and I’ll never do business with this company again.

Chef: Well, it was actually the well pump, it developed a little leak, the area had a couple inches of water. It leaked on and off before, but this time it was a gentle spritz and time to fix it. I shut the water off, released the pressure and just waited a few days, and they were the first to respond. The pipes were over 20 years old, so it was time. The two younger kids showed up, had it figured out, had to buy the whole assembly of pipes which includes the drain valve, pressure regulator, another valve and whatever else came with it. The whole tank was removed, set aside while they works on it, I asked and they and the gave me a chance to clean the tank with bleach as long as it was out. Parts were perhaps $350, it was about $1100 in total. I can do stuff, I installed some plumbing, sinks, bathroom, shower and stuff but needed this done fast and right.Good job, looks like new, hasn't leaked again (it better not) but the warranty is just 60 days. Nancy Arena: My advice is call Ralph! He is professional in all respects. He is skilled, honest, efficient, and fair. When my gas boiler stopped working this winter, he came out immediately and got the old thing running again. I knew the fix was temporary and the boiler needed to be replaced ( god bless its thirty years of service) so I arranged for Ralph to come back and replace it. He and his son showed up on time, broke down and hauled out the old one, installed the new one and Ralph did not leave until he made sure every radiator in the house was working efficiently. Phil approached the project with exceptional forethought and had more knowledge of how make our condensing boiler heating system perform properly. He responded and said he would come to the house on a Friday, which he did. But the part he brought did not fit, and had to be returned. Adam Domow: There is only one company that we will ever allow to handle our HVAC system needs and that is Ayotte Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning. During a week long heat wave (July (2022), our central A/C unit stopped running. Temperatures in the house reached 85-90 degrees, and we needed immediate service. After calling multiple companies (including one that we were actually a customer of), ONLY Ayotte's was the one who answered our phone call (I am sure they have many individuals answering calls there, but if you are like me and lucky enough to talk with Michelle, you will know from the start that everything will be ok), and scheduled us for immediate service. We called them at 1:00pm and by 4:30pm (same day) a technician (Matt) was there fixing our problem.In a situation like this, as a home owner I want to know that there is a service provider out there who believes in running a business the right way. Beginning with the initial phone call, to the quality and expertise of the their technicians (and I know they have the top of the line people, as we found with Matt), to a reasonable fee comparable to the quality of service you are receiving (face it, nothing is free in life, and I am firm believer in as long as fee is comparable to the service, then one should have very little to complain about), to finally just knowing that you are good in hands with genuine people.So like I said, I will never allow another company to service my HVAC needs...Ayotte Plumbing is the only company for me.Services:HVAC system repair,HVAC system maintenance,Repair HVAC

After coming in when I explained what's the issue and how this 'no power on Y1' happened back in February, the tech basically said it's a thermostat problem and need to call the Nest/electrician (also how they never work with nest thermostat which is bizarre tbh). Me knowing a bit about HVAC, asked him to jump Y1 and RC wire and AC should turn on if it's a thermostat problem. He then said yes, I can try that. Sure enough it didn't work and proved that it's NOT a thermostat problem. Then he finally went to the attic to check the air handler and did something with the condensate Safe T switch and AC started running. There was recent insulation work from MASSSAVE and he said the issue is from the insulation work, even though the problem (no power to Y1) happened back to February (and I just had to disconnect the wire from the thermostat since no need to cool the house back then).Long story short, I have expected more than "masssave caused the problem" . Who knows if the condensate drain is clogged or something and if that caused the shutoff. At the very least I needed a rootcause of the problem. But this guy went down right away and got to his car and said service call would be $180.I hate leaving bad reviews to local business but I really had an odd experience.Leaving 2 star since AC is working, for now, but I am pretty much sure if condensate drain clog is the issue this will fail again and then there would be another $180 "service call".Service:A/C system repair

They charged for an emergency call even though it wasn't the evening or the weekend.They installed an electronic thermostat that needed to be programmed and left them to do it themselves. They were unable to regulate it and the heat was blowing high. They called and were told that no one could help them until after the holiday weekend. Someone came back out after 5 days and put a regular dial thermostat on and charged for another call and additional money for the difference in thermostats.$440. BJC 09: Boiler w/ indirect hot H2O tank went into error mode on a Saturday. All the Techs were out on jobs, so the owner jumped in the truck. Quickly diagnosed the problem & started looking for parts. No availability anywhere. Came up with a temporary fix to get us through the weekend & promised to call me Monday morning. Come Monday they called as promised & still couldn’t get the part from distributors all the way to the West Coast. Again promised to keep me updated. About 5 pm they call to tell me they found the part & will be there in the morning. 👍👍I learned later from the Tech that they called every plumber within 100+ miles (N-S-E-W). The owner sent an employee down (160 miles RT) to personally pick up the part & drive back that night.AMAZING TEAM!!!

Personally, I don't recommend Welch Brothers to anyone. Lesson learned.

Never thought I’d find a plumber that would come that day as there was a snowstorm starting. I called Jerry Daley & Sons Plumbing in No. Chelmsford and told them of my problem. They arrived with the hour and located where it was coming from. It happened to be from the radiator pipe between the floors. A pipe that was over 70 years old probably and rusted and extremely difficult to work with. They used some creative means to get it to a point they could fix it. And lots of hard work. Beth Adams: I wouldn’t recommend this company based on my recent experience. I purchased a house in Tyngsboro at the end of August 2018. As part of the sale agreement, the sellers were to have the heating and central A/C unit inspected and serviced to verify there were no known problems with either system as they are on the older side. The sellers used Jerry Daley Plumbing and I recieved a “clean bill of health” for both systems.Fast forward to this morning (10/26) when I notice my heat isn’t staying on and cold air is blowing out my floor registers. Further inspection found the air filter in my gas furnace completely clogged, and large dust clumps in the vent behind the filter. After cleaning this out, my heat is back up and running for now.I have little confidence that my system was actually inspected or serviced as the most simple of service tasks doesn’t appear to have been completed . I would recommend you think twice before using this company.
