Sowy's Bakery: what do users think?
Luby Cancel: Delicious
Vid Feature: Had dinner next door and went in for dessert. Amazing pastry, friendly staff. Eddie was on the counter, Juan in back. I'm told Manny owns the bakery. Got a guava scone...I think it was a scone, thin flaky layers, honey on top, reminded me of baklava. Eddie gave me a free taste test of home made passion fruit juice, wicked good. Bought two loaves of fresh bread, has a coarse grain look, I thought it would be like Russian but it's like cake. Great local business. They try hard and it shows....good prices. Awesome
Q ball: Great Puerto Rican Bakery great sandwiches the pastries are very good and the Spanish bread is delicious had to write a little more I want to thank Sol the owner of the bakery for some beautiful custom cakes that I ordered for some birthdays Muchas gracias
Elishia Baez: A bit disappointed was hoping when this place was taken over it would be better because before it was awful. granted I only tried the empanadas but they weren’t that great fried in old oil got an instant bellyache I could taste it in the empanadas they were very dry and not flavored all that much.
Jordan Correia: Always like to try new places and give honest opinion ...a few of my coworkers recommended me this place ..stating it's the bomb food ..that I must try out ...so I did ...very disappointed because I was looking forward a good lunch ... the rice and steak was $16 ...rice was good ., but the steak was dry ..not sure why he didn't add some juice on it ..the cupcake looks very pretty 10/10 but taste very dry and the frosting was very sweet ...too much frosting on that tiny cupcake $5.50 for 1 cupcake ...and the empanda was also dry and salty ...4.25 for 1 ..I bought 3....The guy behind the counter didn't know any prices , so kept asking ...Overall I spent almost $35 plus $2 tip...not a good deal for lunch ...not returning back ...not because the price but because the food ...you can charge pricey as long as the food is good ...Overall 3 out of 10 ..1 🌟
Abto Robles: Looks great, it says they are open Sunday I went around 12:30p lights were on but the door closed 😳My friend told me that its a great. place. I'll see
Anna Dubovyk: Everything is yum-yum-yummy! The man at the cashier - Juan was nice.
Luis Ruiz: They need to fix the days and hours, I went today and it was closed, saying that it is open.
Chalian Ivette Rodrígüez: Al fin consigo algo con sazón de Puerto Rico 😋 🤤 tenía un antojo de embarazo y allí quedé como si estuviera en casa muy rico el servicio hablan español y inglés hasta pan conseguí
Elaine Maldonado: Pastelillos Wow delicious full of meat,Bread awesomeUnder New management my new go to place for my 🇵🇷 Antojos 👍👍
ash: Best Empanadas in town. Juan is always so nice too!
Ernesto Lopez: really good pastelitos
William Miranda: Very Poor customer service !
PAUL RATHA YEM: Family owned bakery servingAuthentic Puerto Rico desserts and lunch that tastes like your mom's cooking😋
ShooBeDo: Great service and the Alcapurrias, Tembleque and cheesecake is amazing
Isabelle: If I could give this place 0 stars I would. Do not, I mean.... DO NOT buy cakes by the slices here. They are hard and old. Like how do the workers not know that they are selling their customers old cake. Their food is not flavorful and they are just bland. You're better off grabbing food from a bodega than here. Save yourself the trip and money and go elsewhere.
Lazaro Cespedes: Is closed
Alexa lust: Best ham an cheese anything!!! Steak an cheese subs are soooo good .
Virginia: Sowys has been a favorite of mine since a child. They overtime have become less ad less appetizing. Pork seems like it was cooked a few days prior to serving. Flan was burnt and not a good consistency at all.
Esto Ology: Loved it
Tim Collins: Everything is great once you get it. All homemade, authentic Puerto Rican sandwiches and fritura. Key words "Once you get it."

Chiu Yeung Bakery: what do users think?
Justina Horl: All of the desserts i got tasted very old. Most of their products seem to be on the shelf for a very long time, since they don't get a lot of business. Extremely, unfortunate.
Bruce Ma: I think this place is either out of business or the owner decided to take a day off. No open on Saturday 3pm.
Aleena Roath: DONT go here my aunt bought her wedding cake her and it was melted they were RUDE like RUDE RUDE
Jujubee - Madeline: I got a green roll cake slice, a slice of coconut cake and a chocolate cake with the cherries on top. The green roll cake tasted off. It was salty! No kind of vanilla flavoring or nothing then I saw the mold spots ! The coconut cake looked fine but since the green cake was moldy and made me puke I decided to not trust it, I flipped the cake upside down and stripped the frosting… it also had mold on it ! The chocolate cake also went in the trash I didn’t bother checking it . $10.00 in the trash. This place shouldn’t even be allowed to sell food.
James Chin: The cake is really fresh nice service
Saroun: This place is horrible. They sold me a old rotten fruit cake. All dry out. It was old and then they didn’t even want refund you the money. Don’t trust them. Never again!!!
Sonny Sok: Nice little bakery. The owner is very sweet and kind. We ordered 2 cakes, one for my wife’s birthday. The cake was perfect, there was nothing left. We are picking up the 2nd one today for my daughter’s birthday. Can’t wait to try this one, this is coming from a person that’s not a big cake fan. Will definitely be coming here again.
DeeDee Kiv: Ordered a cake for my birthday and it's still as amazing as 15 years ago when I first had a taste...
Yuhong Riendeau: Very friendly owner, ordered a birthday cake.
Somphors Ros: Spoiled/old foods!!!
Ivan Cora: Great place for cake ideas and great service
justbchin: Delicious cake.
Tommy Vo: very nice and low key bakery. staff is nice too. food taste like they should. i got the hot dog buns, they have cool drinks as well that you don't see in too many places
Incrediblelife Style: DONOT order the cake for here again, and service and really rude. I ordered my wedding cake yesterday it was smashed and melted when I tried to bring it back the owner was rude and very disrespectful and kicked us out from the store and not being responsible for it. It’sNot the first time, it happened to my friend’s wedding cake too. I have the video and everything with this stupid lady pushed my mom out from the store. We paid for it not asking for free!!!! I don’t care about the cake but, she needs to be respectful to customers.
Chris P: Had them once really bad..
Jenna San: I've been ordering fruit cake from here for years. I love it !
K’ Studios: Terrible cake service, she sold me an old dry fruit cake that tasted terrible, never go there again! Waste of money, and we didn't enjoy the cake!
Bandit: I only get the hot dogs baked in bread for $1. Quick, easy, and cheap lunch. Owner is very nice lady. Never any wait.
Sarah Côté: Really wanted to stop by. There was an open sign in the window but the door was closed and locked, saw a pair of shoes inside without a wearer inside, lol...The posted sign showed they were supposed to have been open like 3 hours earlier that day. Idk.Never got to try the food. Might try another day. Really disappointed.

Green Forest Tea House: what do users think?
Joseph Ting: Good selection of Asian backed goods and roasted meat (pork, duck, chicken). Glad that there's a good alternative outside of Chinatown. Prices are higher but it's balanced out by not having to drive to Boston.
Kazi Tanzeem Shahid: We came on a late night after Sahel messed up our schedule due giving incorrect closing times. We were thankful we did. The food was reasonably priced and quite tasty. The people working were super polite and helpful.
Farrah Piccoli: Had the strawberry cake and it was light, pillowy, and not too sweet. Delicious. They list the ingredients which are few, just flour, sugar, butter, eggs, cream, etc. My friend got a hot cup of coffee which he said was very good. Also they were open until midnight! Staff is welcoming and genuine
Danny Hebert: Good place to grab a quick bite to eat
Paul Trischitta: I never went, heard great things
Bruce Ho: The pastries selections there are amazing, especially the Big pork steam bun (one of the best I’ve tried) and their Chinese style food are delicious!!!! Definitely will go back again!!!!
Chris M.: First of all, the workers here are extremely rude and throw stuff around. Moreover, some of their pastries are overpriced. Not only that, but recently I purchased one of their Swiss rolls only to find some sort of MOLD or GRAPHITE markings on the edge of the cake upon opening! I still have no idea what it is but it seems to be contaminating the cake. I will no longer be purchasing from their bakery or their products sold at OTHER stores. Would not recommend.
Mike K: Normally they are good but the last time I went I placed an order for a cake and put a deposit down. When I went to go pick up my cake they were closed nor did they ever called me. When I tried to get my refund back while they were closed during the coronavirus shut down, they told me they would pay me back as soon as they were open. When I went to get my deposit back with my receipt in hand they said next time I order, let they know they will credit the $30 dollars they owe me towards my next order. I buy a cake there every birthday that my family has but this time it was the worst experience. That’s why I downgraded my review to 3 stars because other than that their cakes are good.Keep track of your customer orders and follow up on them if you decide you can’t make the date!
Lee Samnang: I bought the Fruit cake for my son special birthday with Duran only. As a result, they mixed Duran and Taro. My son allergy with Taro. I go back and talk to the owner woman, she seem like not really care and just blame to her worker. I walked away without any exchange. I paid full price for that special cake. I'm really sorry to my son that screw up his birthday. Be aware that place.
Santhosh G: Variety of baked pastries that are not too sweet. Tasted most of their individually packed pastries and every thing is good. Fruit cake and matcha cakes are their specialty. They even sell the sponge cake in a tray which is really cheap and delicious. Coconut sweet bun is a must try item as well.
Russ Karlberg: Great bakery items here
J G: Great chinese pastry
Steve B: I came here to get some bubble tea but they apparently don't have it anymore. The gentleman told me they stopped because they found it too hectic to make while they are decorating cakes. The inside of the place looks industrial with most of their pastry on metal cooling racks. Everything looked good but I was on a mission for bubble tea so I walked across the street to Mekong restaurant.
Thomas Fichera: Ask for a grow and you pacifically asked him again when your orders ready to go you made sure it wasn't a spring roll right it was an egg roll right not a spring roll egg roll so as I was leaving to go back home of course it was a spring roll I give it a thumbs down
James Waters: Home made Asian pastries
Michael Nguyen: Delicious cakes with many variety flavors. Great decoration for many special occasions and events. French and Chinese styles - recipe. Great taste for bubble teas and juice drink. Good price. Highly recommend it to others
Kimberly Thach: Last Saturday I went to Green Tea House in Lowell to buy a fruit cake which cost $43 , oh boy those guys that work there are so rude. Anyway I was so excited can’t wait to have a slice of that cake. Pick up at three come home OMG the cake tastes awful, it sour, and the fruit is over due like a week old. I will never going there again and will not recommend to anyone that I know.
study. buddi: the Thai tea was flippin poppin like i was dead as soon as I tasted it give me discount I go there often green sweater glasses
Sampson Wong: Got a chinese style birthday cake that cost $30 (more expensive compared to Chinatown) but figured it's worth it for the time saved. Turns out the cake is probably at least 5 days old and have the refrigerator taste to it. The cake is extremely hard and the fruit is almost spoiled. Will not come again

Poor management of this bakery. Glad they can’t hurt anyone anymore•Excessive dirty dishes•Broken freezer door•Evidence of mice•Expired ingredients•Unsanitary prep areas and storage•Failed state wholesale inspection•Failed 1 of 3 for same issues
Lisa Graves: Closed by Health Dept in September 2022
Chris Tohline: Yum
Darryl Brooks: Opened the door to the smell of cigarette smoke. Very little stock, and no fresh baked Portugese pastries. Sitting table was dirty with crumbs. There was only one table being used so no reason not to be cleaned.

Mr. Gumby: We took our first trip to this bakery. It's small, but had a good selection of Portuguese food, as well as some fresh baked breads and rolls. We tried several foods, including a cheese and a chicken filled fried dumpling type food ( can't remember t h e Portuguese name), and the sweet bread. There is a small parking lot. The young lady behind the counter was helpful and patient with us.
Manuel Beltran: lobe the bread...
