The Wellington at Springfield: what do users think?
Jennifer Bishop: Thank you for friendly welcome to the community. It is nice to know you have a variety of services available to meet the resident’s needs.
R R: Unfortunately, a one star rating is the lowest I can go with here, because at its core, the biggest issue concerns poor management. Is anyone at the corporate management level, paying attention to what goes on at this facility? There are residents here that I know personally, who do not wish to “rock the boat”, but have concerns about many issues. Historically, many residents here have not had faith in the directors of this facility. Residents’ concerns all seem to stem from the high management and employee turnover at the Springfield Wellington. Why are so many inept directors/managers allowed to stay, and drive away the few and only good managers and staff that this place was lucky to have? Seriously, this needs to be addressed at the corporate management level, not just by whichever director of the day, happens to be running this facility locally! If anyone is thinking of having a loved one placed at this facility, please do your homework first! Ask the marketing director why senior management allows so much employee turnover? Ask also, why the few talented, lower- level managers that get brought in, continue to be driven out, out of frustration and exasperation, because they are steamrolled and marginalized by higher level managers here? They have had managers that were loved by the residents, and who did an excellent job, but were driven away for no good reason, while allowing managers and employees with a history of causing havoc, to thrive. I really do hope that this place begins to get its act together, for the benefit of those residents that are paying good money for services that are currently very much sub-par at best! Out of fairness, I do know that obtaining good help was not easy in the pre-Covid world, and it is especially difficult in the post-Covid world that we are living in today. THIS is the very reason that the Wellington should be doing everything possible to attract and retain the GOOD talent that they happen to bring in, however few in number they may be, and not allow them to be driven away by managers and employees that should never have been hired in the first place! Your residents count on you, to place their well-being high on the priority list! This means, that without good management running the day-to-day operations, it all falls apart, and their happiness, safety, and general well-being becomes at risk! Residents and their families/loved ones notice when things are not running efficiently, and when staff turmoil and discord is allowed to fester, and often be witnessed by residents and their families/guests, and though many may not always speak out, it does not mean that they don’t feel the effects of poor management!
Alice M. Longley: I know several people who live here and they hate it!!!!!! They are stuck due to little to no family to help them. The staff constantly changes due to poor working conditions. Constant employee turnover. I am trying to help her get out of there. Do not move your family to this place. Please do not. The management company is terrible, absolutely terrible!!!!!!!!!
Ray Micoletti: My brother and sister-in-law reside at the Wellington assisted living. The staff is very friendly and tries to respond to residents needs. Issues: the food service is poor. Actually delivering food to the table that is on dished with frost on them. That just shows total lack of respect for residents. They turned the air conditioning on during a heat spell in May but when the weather turned cold at the end of May they did not turn the heat back on leaving the residents to be cold for 3 days. They claimed it was too big of a project to switch back to heat only to have to switch it back to air in a few days. I had the heat on in my house be cause it was cold and damp but these old and disabled folks have to remain in the cold because it’s to much trouble to turn it on. These are shameful services from this Co.This is a follow up to my original post. This is how the heating to cooling works. There is always a delay. No one is at risk of being too cold. The staff is great at making sure the patients are safe and taking care of. I would change my rating to 4 stars.
David S. Mazzaferro: keep looking. We scheduled a tour of the Wellington, arrived on time and were kept waiting at least 25 minutes before an employee met with and showed us apartments. They were knowledegable and pleasant. Because we liked the apartments we scheduled a second meeting with the Director of Marketing to get a breakdown of expenses and see any available apartments. We arrived early and were kept waiting over 40 minutes while staff attempted to contact the Director of Marketing. Finally, after 45 minutes we left.If you're comfirtable spending at least $30,00 a year with a company that routinely insults potential tenants by not showing up on time by all means rent The Wellington11/01/22 There's been a big change at The Wellington. We recently re-visited. We were warmly and promptly greeted. Marketing Director, Beth Seyller answered all our questions thoughtfully and gave a good tour of the building and apartment features. The environment was warm and inclusive. If you're seeking independent living visit The Wellington.
Yordann Ramirez: The Gardens is an exceptional building with wonderful staff.
T J: I would never recommend the Wellington of Springfield as a place for my loved one(s). Although much of the staff is kind and caring, the Director of this facility is very non-engaging, inept as a facilities manager, and generally clueless about the daily operations at the Wellington. Emphasis is concentrated on keeping units rented at all costs, without much regard for the “quality” of placement, for elders, and the care level that they may require. Many seniors move in, only to move out after a couple of months, because a thorough assessment of their needs, is not adequately done. The chief concern only ever seems to be, getting units rented ASAP, so that they can collect rental income. Residents pay large sums of money for quality and safe food services, however, the food services at Wellington are neither quality or safe! The dining area is filthy, grimy, and not fit for dining. The food itself is a step or two below, what is served at the homeless shelters. Issues with cable TV and other promised services, which are included in the rent, do not get addressed in a timely fashion. It is apparent that this facility is completely rudderless. This of course, is a very dangerous situation, when you’re talking about the daily safety, health, and well-being of seniors. Do yourself and your loved ones a favor, and skip Wellington of Springfield!
Dick: We moved our parents from a large two family house, in a marginal neighborhood, to Wellington over 13 years ago. The safety, security and community at Wellington was truly a welcome change for them and gave us, their children, a great sense of relief.
Who Cares: Great staff that goes above and beyond to take care of your loved ones. The atmosphere is really nice and the building itself is in great condition and very clean. Highly recommend
Rachael: Great place for family I feel confident they are well taken care of. Awesome atmosphere and the employees are fantastic.
Joyce Joyal: I have been a resident at The Gardens for 11 months. Having moved in at the beginning of the Covid quarantine I must say they have put much effort in keeping us safe and comfortable. I’m assuming things will be even better once covid restrictions are lifted. Most important to me is as long as I remain independent I am not a burden on my family. This is where I call home. More people should consider this move while still in their mid 70’s. Several of us have with no regrets.
Ina Isnora: I love the customer service and they make you feel welcome. I love how they can assure you your love ones will be well taking care of. Very very clean community!!! If you are on the waiting list like my Grandmother was. I love how they still call you to keep you updated. They did not forget about her. This place gave me the peace of mind I needed for my grandmother. They even helped us move her in!!!!! Great place, outstanding people and amazing communication!
Elaine Gomes: I love the atmosphere here!! From the beginning with the great informative tour by Emma to the way everyone made my grandparents and I feel. The loved, care, respect and support that they give us is out of this world!! They make us feel apart of their family.
Lisa Caron: A very nice amenity are the activities are geared for the residents likes and interests in the community, often integrating them within the Assisted, Independent and Memory units. They offer so much variety to keep residents engaged and active.
Mary Witbeck: My mom had stayed here prior to the change to The Wellington. She was there for several years. We found the staff to be very caring to my mom. The staff was also very kind to all of us family members. The activities were great, led by Pat Gelinas. She came up with great games, crafts and trips for all of the clients. Pat knew all of the clients by name. I noticed that she made them feel very special.
Teresa Frazier: I visited the facility for a tour and was impressed by the people and residents, all were very friendly. The facility was very clean, which I loved. Saw some residents participate in some activities and they all looked like they were enjoying themselves. Met the activity director and she was very pleasant and seemed like fun! She had a caring and patient attitude, which impressed me.
Francis MacKenzie: As a musical entertainer I have performed at many nursing homes and senior living facilities throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut. Without a doubt The Wellington at Springfield is one of my favorites. The staff is friendly and courteous to the residents, visitors and each other. Each time I have been there I have felt like I was visiting a community rather then an institution. Seeing residents talking and laughing with each other and with staff is wonderful and heartwarming. If you are looking for a place for an elderly family member I would recommend visiting The Wellington.
Jan Mancini: Took a tour while looking for a new home for a family member. Place is lovely and housekeeping does a great job at keeping it clean. Residents seem happy and all staff that I saw interacting with residents were respectful and pleasant. Food was appealing. One of the things that stood out was the activities program where Pat and Jackie seem fully involved in keeping residents active and happy. I was amazed at the list of activities that residents can participate in! It certainly has been more difficult with Covid but when not in that situation, they have lots of musical entertainment, trips like the Forest Park Christmas lights, and numerous arts and crafts. While family member went to live with a relative, when my day comes I would be very happy to take up residence here!
Patti V: Have had family at the facility. The staff goes above and beyond in caring for each individual’s needs as if they were their own ❤️ Has kept everyone safe in a very challenging and difficult year.
Luke Lombard: Excellent care and consideration from staff!
john lombard: The staff at Wellington go out of their way to make everyone feel cared for. Everyone is thoughtful and positive whenever we visit. Pat in programming goes out of her way to create interesting and fun activities for the members of the community.

I support them wholeheartedly as they work to make a difference in the lives of countless individuals and their families, not just within their organization and affiliations, but in the community as a whole.

Prosper At Monastery Heights: what do users think?
Catherine oRtiz: Any per diem available? I have HHA CERTIFIED for now CNA expired gtta retake exam..
Joan Allen: I would frequently visit my family member here and one thing I will say is that every single person that works here cares about the residents deeply as if they their own family! There's so many great changes that the new owners are making! I wish my family could have stayed here longer, but even though she had to go to a nursing home the directors were so great!
Cheryl King: Done private duty in there memory unit its very dark gloomy down there ! Food does not look good always cold. Never seen them doing activities just sitting watching tv they just painted it down there still gloomy looking !
Katelyn Bacon: Very disappointed to what happened to this community. I loved working at LANDMARK, but Prosper was very horrible to work for. It is no longer a family atmosphere. Most of these reviews were for Landmark, not Prosper.
Wayne E Schlessman: Very nice grounds, rooms are nice and airy. Clean and neat would be a good description.
Elaine Blazejowski: I've worked here for 3 years and have enjoyed working with staff and being with our residents and family members. I always said we work here in doing for our residents but atthe end of the day it's what they have done for us.
Destiny Saez: I worked here for almost 2 years and the residents always seemed happy with the services, the staff is friendly and understanding and I would have no problem placing any of my relatives here knowing they would be taken care of and happy with their new home.
Doug Asselin: Great staff lots of activities for the residents
Karen Morin: I moved my Father recently to Landmark as he needed more assistance and memory care. This has proven to be a great decision as everyone at Landmark are very thorough, compassionate and he is thriving in the new environment. I highly recommend!
Sara Piantek: I have been an employee here for 17 years and have nothing but good things to say about it. The staff is amazing and i have met so many wonderful residents that i think of as family. There are plenty of activities and the food is amazing. I would have no problem having one of my own family members move here.
Danielle Loiko: I have been working at Landmark at Monastery Heights for over a year and can not say more good things about this community. The staff here treat the residents like they are family with compassion and respect. The food is excellent and there is always something going on. Would feel 100% comfortable having my family member move here. Being able to interact with the residents on a daily basis is what makes this job one I enjoy coming to everyday.
Amy: Monastery Heights is a beautiful, historical building inside and out, with a very warm and personable staff. They provide healthy meals and a clean facility. Mom is very happy after nearly a year at Monastery Heights! 😊
Candace Rutz: My mom has called the Monastery home now for 3-1/2 years. Throughout this time the caring and knowledgeable staff members have provided the increasing level of assistance as needed throughout her aging process. Our family has been blessed to have found this community where our mom is safe, happy and enjoying this time of her life among friends.
almaneta lee: The people are compassionate and caring. I feel very safe and loved.
Laura Clifford: This month marks the 2-year anniversary that my 89 year old mother has resided at Landmark at Monastery Heights. It has been a positive experience for her. She loves the view from her room and constantly raves about the food. She enjoys interacting with the staff and participating in many of the activities, especially the weekly trip to the grocery store. Mass and manicures on Sunday? Brilliant! I would recommend this facility for your loved one.
Roger Lavoie: My Dad, now almost 89, has been living at Monastery Heights for almost 2 years now. My family is so grateful to both the facility and the staff that assists him with anything he needs on a daily basis. He moved in at a time when he needed more help and has adjusted to the easy way of life provided for him there. The staff that helps with his hearing aids, compression socks, cleaning, laundry and meals are friendly, attentive and approachable. The business office, social worker, nurses, activities director and desk staff are terrific.I would like to say that Sharon, the administrator, is exceptional. She’s always there to answer any questions we may have and always oversees all aspects of my Dad’s care. I really feel we are in good hands.
Ryan Lavoie: Takes good care of grandfather!
Gary Midura: Absolutely first rate in every aspect. Staff is excellent, friendly and on task. All sorts of stuff happening yet very organized and very calm. It is a very caring and nurturing environment. All that a loved one would want for their loved one. Gary Midura
Philip Spigarelli: My mother has resided at Landmark since 2002.
carl poole: Yesterday being the 5th of February I had the pleasure of speaking with the Executive Director at Landmark at Monastery Heights(Sharon Putham) (I hope I am spelling her last name correctly) Sharon was very professional in many ways in which She took the time to listen to me ask a zillion questions one right after another. (I might add, She had all the satisfactory answers to my questions) She seemed very concerned to listen to me about all my concerns with having my Aunt reside there at the Monastery. After about 45 minutes of Her being interrogated by my bombardment of questions Sharon assured Me that ALL My concerns would be taken under advisement and She would do the best She could to address every one of them...In summery, Sharon gets My rating of two thumbs up...and now I know why she is the Executive Director...I would like to also mention one other terrific personnel person I have the pleasure of doing business with at the Monastery is Heather Luc-Bacon...Heather is the Business Manager with a dynamic personality and a smile of sunshine...she loves her job at the Monastery and it shows every time I have the pleasure of talking with her...in closing...for all those people who are thinking about their loved ones getting care, I would definitely put Landmark at Monastery Heights, at 110 Monastery Ave., in West Springfield, MA 01089 at the top of Your list...Signed...Carl S. Poole and My Aunt...Lucille T. Desorcy.
Liz Edwards: My brother resides at Landmark for over two years and is very happy with the care received and his interaction with the employees. He's doing well, and if he's happy, I'm happy!

Saint Luke's Rest Home: what do users think?
LD CM: I was offered a job here back in the year 2020. I only worked there for a few day's because the environment in this facility left me surprised. This facility is dirty and it looks like people don't clean at all. On the walls I seen cob Webb. The counters had crumbs and you could tell that they weren't properly cleaning. I also seen that patient medication was missing from the pill cart. What left me really perplexed was a co- worker bringing in a 6 pack of beer and put it in the refrigerator where patient drinks were stored. I honestly believe that the Nurse in charge knows exactly what's going on but maybe she doesn't care. It's sad that the patients have to live in such horrid conditions.
Mark Dorsey: Thank you for your care my friend was there and really liked it Dave D
Amy Golon: I worked there less than 3 months there are very few ppl who do there job aja, sam, seidu the rest our dispectful and unprofessional. Residents live in filthy conditions, supervisors dont care, report health condition properly will destroy nurses notes if state comes to cover there butts they will fire you for anything if they feel your a threat but other staff can smoke , drink . do drugs on primeses even with other residents. I was gonna file for wrongful fire but did not pursue due to working conditions. Highly recommend to send loved ones to beaven kelly rest home clean and good staff. I worked at both
Jasmine Franklin: I worked there, I feel bad for the elderly there honestly because their living conditions are gross and a lot of the staff does not care about them. There would be times that older people were stuck in their room because they hurt themselves in the bed and no one had did rounds to check on them...a man laid on his face for hours after falling because no one had did their rounds checking up on them. I ultimately ended up leaving because the building had a bad case of bed bugs, that apparently had been an issue long before I got there and didn’t seem like it would be changing anytime soon.
Gwendolyn Scruggs: Worked there very nice place people freindly
Judith Galloni: It's a great place to work. With good people to serve.

Sixteen Acres Healthcare Center: what do users think?
THE JAMN FAM: This place is terrible. Starting with the administrator who is person who only looks at it as a business and not a home. If you have a loved one there are many other options. I would suggest Pioneer Valley Health and Rehab as one its located in South Hadley. This place is dirty mold throughout the building. DPH needs to come in and inspect and shut it down. I see many new fake reviews on here. Don't believe anything good you read on here.
Xiara Crispin: They have phenomenal nurse assistants and nurses in their dementia unit . They took very great care of my father after his horrible fall.
Edward fountaine: Awesome staff, had a wonderful experience. Staff cared for my grandfather with the upmost respect. Highly recommend.
Hilary Amparo: Great staff
C Barna87: This place is a horrible place.
Minu Brito: If I could give them a 0 I would. My aunt was there. Filthy, poor conditions, staff doesn't follow basic osha standards and basic precautions. No wonder there's a covid outbreak that is out of control. Broken, clogged sinks. Filthy bathrooms. Do not provide low sodium. Low sugar meals for hypertensive and diabetics. Meds are not administered on schedule.
Jen Slachta: My Father was in there for rehab and possible long care stay. Worst place possible. There staff does not care about their patients, you ring the bell and all you get is attitude like your bothering them if they even come at all. You never get updates or Drs report They left my Dad with coffee all over him for hours and expected us to change his sheets and clean the floor. Then they took his clothes to be washed and we never got them back. We got him out right away. Just a few of the awful things that happened here. Never again, stay clear of this place 😔
Kailyn Fellmeth: I visited a family member here and had a terrible experience. I witnessed an elderly patient being forcefully handled by a worker, and later found out that patient was positive for COVID. Their door was open and they were not wearing a mask, thus potentially exposing many other elderly patients on the floor. We encountered seven nurses before we were informed that it was a COVID floor, which we only learned when we asked them directly. This is unacceptable two years into the pandemic. My family member has continuously said that she is being mistreated by staff and cannot wait to leave. After this experience, there is not a doubt in my mind that this is the case. Avoid this establishment at all costs.
Vanessa Padilla: Horrible. Absolutely horrible. My mother fell 2x in 1 week. Thank the lord she is at the hospital right now. Just discovered 2 huge, brand new bed sore she did not have before. Look up Wingate of Springfield, 215 Biccentennial Hwy, Springfield MA. Only 1 good review. These are facts that people have stated. Going to file a report Monday morning. Do not send your loved one here. They make it worse. Lord. I'll beg you myself!! Find another place!!!

Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing: what do users think?
John Schreindorfer: I deliver cat and dog food to a couple of the residents there and it's always super clean always people to talk to. I know my dad's lonely at his house, but if he was at a place like this he wouldn't be. Also the residents that I see are always happy and have good things to say about Reed's landing
Beth Rude: What a difficult time of life - who prepares you for this? We have chosen Reeds Landing assisted living for my mom and will be moving her in soon. Toured many places and chose this for 2 big reasons: 1) everyone working there had been extremely friendly and 2) the assistance with medical care - GP doctor has an office there and they will help get mom’s medications in easy to use bubble packs/coordinate with a pharmacy. Everyone I mention Reeds Landing to gives me great feedback! Reeds Landing is making a tough decision easier! Will update my review after she’s been moved in for a while.
Bonnie Blair: Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing has one of the most inviting campuses I have ever visited for senior living. The lake and the grounds are so refreshing and relaxing. Too, the lunch in Twain's Cafe was special. I was able to build a salad just the way I wanted it. Yum!!! And the staff were so friendly and chatty!! I could live there for sure.
Kathleen Duquette: Looks can be deceiving… All around awful!Under-staffed, lack of empathy, management unresponsive, no accountability… and the list goes on.
Concerned Cardona: I work for a patient at the skilled care part of reeds landing. While it is beautiful and well kept and housekeeping does a great job, the cnas for the most part do not. They either do not adhere to the patients needs as an assist(two person), leave them alone after it is very much stated they are not to, do not come in a timely manner (20 minutes for a call bell, waited 15 minutes for an emergency call bell) or do not adhere at all to the rules. This patient is a two assist and bed pan only and some staff do not even follow that it’s “easier to let me do it my way”. I’ve witnessed a patient fall on several occasions in a matter of weeks and still letting it happen because they are off doing something other than working with the patients. For the price that they charge it is absolutely unacceptable. They need more staffing and more staffing of people who want to work. Not people asking what I can do that they don’t have to. Absolutely not acceptable. While there are a select few amazing cnas, and all the nurses are very much caring and do their job this isn’t a job where they should keep unwilling staff. Even staff members openly admit to this, but where are the efforts of administration doing THEIR jobs to address these issues? There is certainly a lack of communication and a lack of taking Initiative to fix these things. They are highly understaffed however even fully staffed I have seen the lack of work ethic. GET THINGS UNDER CONTROL LOOMIS!
Laura Brown: Excellent care of my father, I never had to worry. Staff are awesome and compassionate! I would recommend the facility for skilled nursing and rehabilitation to anyone needed it.
THE JAMN FAM: Being a agency nurse that has worked here I can say this one of the better nursing homes serving the western mass population. The aides and fellow nurses were a pleasure to work with.
Neveah Lee: where do I start, .All the nurses did were start trouble with the aids, instigate situations, lie, & Be lazy. There Is Maybe 3 Nurses Out Of So Many Nurses That Did Their Job.That Place Had bedbugs(an infestation) in one of the patients room,Then there was a mouse in a patients room,Nurses Were stealing Morphine and replacing it with mouth wash,They Never Found Out Who Did It,Then There Were Nurses Stealing Syringes,Nurses wouldn’t stand by to watch patients take there Meds so half the time aids were finding meds on the floor, patients tables,in hands, their mouths. The nurses would Violate Hippa & Talk About Other Nurses & Aids.Nurses Would Throw Away The Pills and still sign off on meds!!Another nurse used a racial slurr and got a warning,She didn’t get fired but they were always suspending aids because nurses would Antagonize the aids in front of the patients,That Place Was Filled With Drama Lies & Ungratefulness.3 out of 5 starts because there were good days with certain staff who did a great job.Its a beautiful place,Good food for the patients,Great activites, trips & Parties they would Throw for the patients.Activity staff were pretty good minus the head activity who would pretend to think she was the president of the place and would report to HR for stupid reasons,First shift Nurses Didn’t Always Help,Second shift Nurses the same thing(Depending who was on) and they go by minority,so everyone wasn’t treated the same(workers) nurses pick and chose who they wanted to help and who they wanted to see struggle.third shift Nurses were disrespectful, one tried to fight an aid and the other used a racist slurr.that place was disappointing.Negative Vibes & Just Negative energy with nurses and staff. The patients were Lovely, beautiful, Loving and appreciated.
Alicia Moreira: Es un lugar bellisimo

Peggy Ann Glaister: A special THANK YOU to ALL of the Bear Mountain and Hospice staff that cared for my 95+ year old cousin Eileen Worthing in the final weeks of her life. The respect, compassion and gentle care she recieved on a daily basis is and was truly appreciated by all of her family members. We can not express enough our heart felt Thank Yous for the expertise, personal respect, gentle compassion and kindness with which everyone cared for our family member.Blessings to All,Peggy Ann
Liz Macon: This place is a nightmare. I don’t even want to give it one star. My 95 year old mother spent 12 hours there and we went and took her out. The attitude of the staff was atrocious. I had put some things in her room prior to her getting there. When we got back to her room her walker was gone and some of her clothes and the woman in the room next to her took her packages of pads and disposable underwear and put them in her burreau. We eventually got the stuff back but the staff could have cared less. Her call button did not work and when I mentioned this to staff they just shrugged their shoulders and said maintenance. I asked them how is this poor elderly woman going to call someone if she needed help. They gave her a hand bell to ring . Since it was late at night I ended up having to leave her there but I was in tears. Needless to say we picked her up the next morning and got her out of there. I’ve never seen anything like this. The staff was so uncaring about this that I was in shock. That place should be closed down.

Brenden Savoy: The driver of their van/bus almost side swiped me a few minutes ago on Memorial Drive. He was in the left lane doing 25 in a 40 zone. As I was passing him he put on his blinker and proceeded to try and move over without any delay. Perhaps if he wasn’t wearing a mask pulled that it almost covered his eyes would he be able to see.
Mrs Jones: Horrible place to work! I would advice seeking employment elsewhere. I actually work through an agency and I work at many different places but this place is the worst I’ve ever been. I’ve never seen so much drama in a facility and the environment is so toxic. I’ve seen coworkers in a full blown argument in front of me. Now I see why they can’t keep their workers. It’s just not worth the stress.
Elizabeth Cowart: This is the third assisted living facility my mother has been in this year and it is the ONLY one where we felt like they actually cared about her as a human being. They called me the day after we moved her in to let me know how she was doing, which no facility had ever done.Everyone from management down to the staff treats her with respect and compassion, and they encourage me to call or come by any time, which I do. They have been able to convince her to bathe and change her clothes regularly, which she was not doing at the other facilities. They even sent her flowers welcoming her to River Mills. When I have questions or concerns, they address them timely and they keep me updated with any concerns they have. My mother has become friendly with several of the other residents and is the most content and happy I have seen her in a long time. I highly recommend River Mills and am so thankful we found it!
Madison Rayne: My grandfather has been a resident here for 2 years and pretty much all we have heard is bad things. They don't feed the residents good quality food, if someone hurts themselves you can't find the nurse
Nicole Lafleur Henry: A little over a year ago river mills came into my life. I truly feel blessed to part of this community as the business office manager. My journey through out the year, I have meet some amazing residents that I have grown to care for so very much, families I have connected with. The managers are all team players , as we work together to help each other, our main focus is to make our residents happy. From friendly , tasty cookouts, gardening on our patio, live music in our pub and just the simple interactions with others that put a smile on our faces. These memories are everything. River mills has truly become my family, my second home and I look forward to meeting new residents to join our family and make amazing new memories!!
J Tailleur: The ED was so rude and nasty on the phone today. I called to get some information for my mother and the lady kept talking over me, not allowing me to finish my questions, very short and disrespectful. I would not ask them to watch my dog, much less to think about placing my mother in a community ran by such people.Customer Service is very important and having good communication skills goes a long way. 12/14/2021
me cri: I have a very good work ethic and I have worked in many places with all different personalities but never have I felt more disrespected and downgraded as a person working for this facility. I do not advise anyone to seek employment here. There is no work life balance due to lack of staffing. There are many excuses given for why residents are not being properly cared for when they know the reasons why. The management team is horrendous. I stayed as long as I could for the residents but I could no longer watch as they suffered in a dementia unit without anyone caring about them. The staff only cared about the individuals who were more independent and didn’t have dementia. Management favored those residents and would spend money on them to go to eat while the residents in the dementia unit would just sit there and have no interaction but with the RCAs. The ratio of staff versus individuals did not meet guidelines. I really could go on however with that being said please if you want to stay positive in your life and make money this is not the place.
QuadrupleBackflip: do not, in any circumstance, put your family in this establishment. higher management has no clue of what is happening in this facility
