T: We had a private event at Cima on 2/12/23 and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was perfect!! We had about 50 guests and ordered a luncheon buffet with the chicken romano, baked scrod, and beef tenderloin. The food and drinks were 10/10. The wait staff was what you would expect from a 5 star restaurant. Mindy was so accommodating and helpful with the planning and suggestions. We had a 7 pm reservation and didn't leave the restaurant until 10pm. Our server kept disappearing. He would take forever to do everything. I do realize he was busy but other servers around us seemed much more attentive to their tables. He seemed very spacy. He didn't return our credit card after bring the receipt back.

Janine: Do not eat here if you are gluten free. The waitress was very rude regarding my dietary restrictions.I inform the waitress just as precaution that I am gluten free. A lot of restaurants/waiters are happy to be informed and then often suggest what dishes are gluten free if it isn’t marked in the menu or what dishes are easily modified. Anyways this waitress didn’t seem to care.I decided to order a steak as this should be gluten free especially with out any sauce or marinade. I asked what the steak came with. Ok great mashed potatoes, typically gluten free. I ask the waitress if the mashes potatoes are gluten free, just to confirm. Her response with insane. She responds with “I dont know, you tell me”. Then she started listing ingredients and says flour. I honestly was so shocked with her response I just ordered french fries. What mashed potatoes have flour in them? Anyways then I was scared to ask any further questions and didn’t enjoy my meal.

Jim Haynie: I had a 6:15pm reservations. I showed up at 6:09pm and was told that I had to wait until my time. The restaurant was half empty, really? I was greeted and apparently they have no bread, but they did set up plates and knives for it. They could not substitute fries for a small salad, but they did change them for carrots. The carrots were soft and tasty. The steak was burnt on the outside, but we ate the prime steak. The bottom of the potato was burned as well, so they took it off the bill. The garlic was so burnt you could not recognize it well. They asked about a special occasion and I put down my Mom's Birthday as it is her Birthday this week. They did not even acknowledge her birthday. I would not go back given there are so many places to go to that are less money and so much better in quality and service.

Couldn’t over hear others seated near by. Lighting was just right. Seating comfortable. This is a slow meal lasting about two hours but not painfully so. Perfect pace. Absolutely worth the visit and cost.

We were seated quickly into a cozy rounded booth for two.We started with a couple drinks. Pear Moscow Mule for my wife and an Old Fashioned for me. Both were good. The mule was very ginger forward.We had some house bread and butter, the carpaccio, and some soup as starters. The carpaccio was melt in your mouth good. I got the French onion soup which looked as good as it tasted. My wife got the lobster bisque which was poured tableside which is an interesting touch to keep the lobster from getting too tough in the hit broth.We both ordered the 18oz bone-in ribeye. Both came out cooked nicely and we're very good.We finished the night with coffee and chocolate cake.It was a great night and I highly recommend it for special occasions. If you can afford to go more often I wouldn't stop you.

She (I think her name was Emily) suggested the best bang for our buck, and she also let us know some of her favorite meals, sides and sauces. Her suggestions were spot on and didn't disappoint the palate. I gave 4 stars because the utensils (steak knife and fork) were dirty. We asked for a hot glass of water to clean them and that was that. Only other thing was they ran out of a certain sauce and a certain type of chicken strip or nugget, but they made it right with a comparable substitution. The wait staff had one thing in mind and that was to give the customer the best eating experience of their lives. I'd definitely go back.

Fujita 5: I heard good things about Longhorns so we decided to stop in for dinner. We went a little early because I know this place gets real busy very quickly. We were seated almost immediately and reviewed the menu. I was in the mood for a steak and decided on the rib-eye and rice pilaf. My partner ordered a rack of baby back ribs and broccoli. Salads were really good and it wasn't long before the entrees came. My steak was cooked a perfect med-rare but was so over seasoned that unfortunately I couldn't taste the meat. I wasn't crazy about the bland rice. I shared my steak and she gave me half of her ribs. It was a large rack but the sauce was way too sweet for my tastes and one again I couldn't taste the meat. Overall I was not impressed and won't be going back. Alot of money for a poorly executed meal.

I have just two complaints, both of which would have been a simple e-mail to the staff if there had been an e-mail address anywhere on the website. Instead, I will post them here.1) My sister ordered the Udon Noodles with Katsu Chicken which arrived minus the poached egg. It was still delicious but the egg would have added much more depth.2) My espresso arrived in a Right Handed cup. As a lefty, it was both surprising to see and slightly comical to use with my left hand. Maybe less stylish but more functional cups could be swapped in for the sake of the 12 % of the population that are left handed?Just a thought.We will be back to give it another try.

Veronica Maciel: Great ambiance, dimly lit with a light for each table. Great food. For apps, the foe gras duck dumplings were good, the surf and turf dumplings even better. For entrees, the spare ribs are sublime, the surf and turf roll yummy, the chicken katsu is standard, kinda similar to the one at another place for $10 less. The udon noodles were good and so was the bacon fat fried rice. We had some green tea ice cream for my birthday, and it came with a little birthday sign and a candle--also delicious.Parking: Right next to a paid lot. Watch your time for the parking, we were 2 minutes over the hour and we got fully charged for the hour we weren't going to be there.

Our sides were the garlic mashed potatoes and the duck fat potatoes. The sides were good but slightly low on salt, which is fine. You can see how massive the portions are in the pictures.The bone butter didnt taste much different than standard unsalted butter.Vegetarian options: They do have a tofu option for vegetarians

Ashley: Went here for dinner. The food was super delicious, the service was bad. We went as a group and wanted to split the check into separate checks with itemized items. Our waitress said she cannot do that. How come a super fancy restaurant cannot split the checks based on what that person ordered? This is my first time encountered something like this. She said they can only split the check evenly or we have to tel her specifically how much amount to charge on our credit cards. We told her that we need the checks to be itemized so we can each have receipt for the expense report for our business travel. She insisted she cannot do that. She then told her manager to come out and explains it to us. The manager came out and said the same thing. She said they are on “Asian” system and doesn’t do the checks separate. I don’t even know what “Asian” system she meant. It is still bizarre how a restaurant could charge a plate more than $40 cannot afford to a “system” to split checks. This should not be this complicated. I will never go back here. Service is terrible, and they need to invest in a better paying “system”

Maria C: Perfect place for a night out; it is intimate, clean, and modern. The staff is friendly, food is fresh and absolutely delicious. It has become on of our favorite places in downtown Hartford. They have some of the best sushi around, the Wagyu is perfectly cooked and well worth it, and they have many drinks to choose from that always pair well with the main course or dessert if you still have room for it.

Joelle Tavares: Went here for my husbands birthday dinner. The ambiance of the place was absolutely beautiful and a really nice setting. My husband said the sushi was absolutely amazing, my shrimp appetizer was great! My meal was great, I got the filet and two sides of mash potatoes and asparagus. I will say they should have added some butter or something to the steak as when it came out it was a bit dry but I ordered some on the side and added it and it was great. I was also caught off guard because the steak (which was over $50) came with no sides so I ordered some but the sides were well over 2 servings. If I would have know that I would have split the sides with my husband versus ordering separate sides! Also the waiter could have been a little more attentive. I had to wait to find her to ask for soy sauce when the app came out, then wait to find her to ask for the salt and pepper and then wait to find her to ask for butter for the steak before I could eat it. She didn’t come check on us and ask how our food was at all. Overall though it was a great experience with great food. Definitely will be back and now that we know a few dos/donts it will be even better for next time!

moussa magassa: If you love sushi or you are trying it for the first time this is the place you need to be. Happy hour at Feng is out of this world. Fresh, lots of options and quick! Also, the wagu slider is to die for, no need to pay capital grille prices. The staff is so knowledgeable and genuinely proud of their top notch ingredients and food... ask them about the sushi rice!!!!
