Roni-Lee St.Laurent: This is absolutely 100% the place you want to go if you are looking for ANYTHING ethnic food related from Spanish, Asian, Mexican, Jamaican etc.They tend to be a bit more expensive on some staple items but I love this place. It's cool just to check out the incredible selection of herbs, spices, dried peppers, fresh fruits and veggies that they have. I believe they carry literally anything you could possibly want for an ethnic meal.Personally I do not buy my milk here anymore. For some reason I have had a long standing problem of it souring before it's expiration date.

The store is neat and clean and very laid out quite well. Staff is friendly and helpful. Some prices are reasonable some are a little more expensive. This location is very busy. It was my first time going to the store and probably not my last. The lunch specials are reasonable only $10 unfortunately when I went in and smell the food from the outside and also smell it from the inside it really smells good.

James Siano: Big Y always shines, the only place that compares is Whole Foods and Trader Joe's, but who's driving an hour or more for a head of lettuce? Convenience plays a big part in shopping, Big Y has it covered in all aspects, however I would like to see coconuts that are good! I've broken open many and I'd say 5 out of 10 are bad! Other than that minor glitch I'd still give Big Y 5 out of 5 stars!

profepte: Fui de nuevo detrás de mis gluten free para mis comidas ya que ellos tienen grandes opciones. Si buscas a BOSS red hill allí los tienen. Y unos pastelitos que en la casa le encantan. Lo visito muy a menudo ya que allí también están los huevos Cage free y la leche lactose free. O sea son muy buenos. Estacionamiento amplio y para impedimento buenos espacios y bastante cantidad. Puertas y pasillos son muy amplios para también la silla de rueda pase. Empleados y cajeras muy eficientes,amables y dispuestos a ayudar.

Suman S: There are like bazillion Big Y’s within 5mile radius and not one of them are ‘world class’ as they claim to be. A lot less options to choose from. Also the stuffs they carry are pretty generic and mediocre. Sure, there are a lot of options to choose in terms of Cheese. But produce and meat are subpar and you pretty much have either one or two option to choose. Even smaller chain stores like Hannaford in Eastern Mass have way better options to choose from. Springfield really needs a Marketbasket/ Hannaford/Wholefood or Big Y needs better inventory planners.

The excuse I'm given is that the staff needs to clean the room and they do it an hour before closing.The whole thing left me with a bad taste in my mouth because I had empty alcoholic containers in my vehicle that I brought specifically to cash out and get my deposit back I didn't feel comfortable bringing them back with me I didn't want to be accused of drinking and driving.Big Yreally should consider keeping that room open during normal business hours and only close it when the store closes.It's a disservice to their customers to close that room early and there really is no excuse for closing early that makes any sense to this loyal customer
