Rick Smith: Awesome service, especially Ray in Optical Dept. Even though I didn't buy my glasses there, Ray came out to my truck, took my glasses inside, fixed them in less than five minutes (really!) and didn't charge me. Guess where I'll be going for my next pair!!

The customer service difference was overwhelming; in less than ten minutes, I had the answers I needed and multiple solutions. I was greeted the moment I walked in and helped each step of the way. In less than forty minutes, I had a new set of frames and new pair of lenses for an incredible deal and I had booked my new eye exam with my new optician. Their on-site lab is fantastic! Drew S: moved over here from newyork and my lens broke. so i searched this place up on google and i must say best service ive encountered in a optical. super friendly and fixed my lens in about 20 minutes. will be coming here for all my vision needs in the future.

My toddler rolled over on my eye glasses and broke a temple. My glasses were from overseas so I wouldn’t be able to contact the manufacturer/ company. I went to another optical office and was told they didn’t have the right replacement part to fix it. I thought I’d have to get brand new eye glasses. But, I stopped by Edmund’s Opticians one morning to see if they could help me with my eye glass repair. The owner was so extremely nice. He went to see what extra parts he had available and helped me replace the broken temple with no charge. I can’t thank him enough! Thank you Ed!
Free Country: My grandfather gave me a pair of aviator sunglasses that were issued to him in the MA State Police during the 1950's. I had them for months and couldn't figure out how to repair the nose pads as they were an older design that wasn't used anymore in modern sunglasses. I had already tried another place who told me they couldn't fix them when I finally brought them into Edmund's Opticians. Ed took them, and 10 minutes later returned from the back with the glasses repaired and looking like new! I was so happy. I asked him what I owed him and would you believe that he did it for free!? I was so surprised by that. It's not often you run into a business that is this knowledgeable and helpful and I am so glad I went in here! Thank you to Edmund's Opticians!!!

The other was conversing with a couple about their trip. I walked over to look at frames. Stay for about 15 to 20 minutes Did not get acknowledged once. Thought to myself. They don’t need or want my business and walked right out. I should let my doctor know so he doesn’t recommend that other patients go there.

Jomama: The Optical Shoppe at Baystate Eye Care is THE BEST. All the opticians are extremely friendly and know their stuff. I did say opticians - none of the employees there are sales people. (Credentials on the wall.) I never feel pressured to buy things I don't want or need and their recommendations are right on target. I can tell they really care about what they do. They have saved me more than once when my glasses were broken and didn't just try to sell me something. They actually spent time to repair my glasses (that I didn't think were fixable) so I didn't have to buy new glasses AND never charge for repairs! You will not regret coming to this shop.

JoAnn Demore: STAY VERY FAR AWAY! This was my first time using this Lens Crafters location. The exam was ‘remote’ and very lacking. The tech was almost non functional, barely spoke and didn’t seem to know what machine was what. When I got my glasses, the prescription was all wrong, they had to retest. Turns out they put a + instead of minus. I had headaches and couldn’t adjust for two weeks. After retest (which I had to wait two more weeks for), I got my new prescription. I wore them again for two weeks trying to adjust. I couldn’t even read my computer or see a person sitting across from me at the dinner table. I brought them back for a refund and was told I would have to wait 6 weeks for the credit to go back to my insurance, AND they won’t refund my exam fee even though they failed twice to get my prescription correct. The staff, especially the manager was rude, dismissive and uncaring that I am now going to be living with headaches and without proper glasses for at least 6 more weeks. This was a horrible experience and I recommend you stay away!!EDIT: To answer the reply, you can help by expediting the credit to my insurance and refund me the exam fee. The link you posted does not allow for either. If you truly wish to help, do both of those. Otherwise, your hollow attempt to seem helpful is useless.

Sareyna Thurber: Where do I start with how patient and genuinely caring they are! Usually when a form of payment doesn't go through, people would show irritation and say "your card was declined". Soleil was not that person. She contacted support, and contacted another store for help and even still didn't give up! She went above and beyond for my glasses and if you have ocd and are blind, you will only want her to do your glasses! She was so patient and so knowledgeable, it really couldn't have been a better experience 😊

Called them this morning to come and pick a glasses that they prescribed, I understand the mask state mandate I didn’t have one they refused to provide one to me reason why because im only there for the optical side not the clinic !!!! even though I offered to pay for it still they declined to provide so I can purchase a new glasses. Long story short I decided to request a copy of my prescription so I can go somewhere else and spend my money.

Trish Nonya: I pick up my glasses on Friday 2/17/23. Within a few hours I called them and told them something wasn't right with my prescription. I was told I needed to go back to my eye Dr. I received a second pair of glasses from an online eye glass place on 2/18/23. Glasses were great. I brought my glasses back in to forest park eye care 2/22/23 they checked both my glasses. Told me my glasses were both correct I said I'm still having issues with them. I would like a refund because at this point I don't trust yall. Plus I was hung up on twice when I called Friday. Can't do a refund so I'm stuck with a 175 dollar paper weight. I've been wearing glasses for over 20 years first time I've ever had any kind of issue with my lens. Avoid this place at all costs! How can.they be correct if I'm having issues seeing out of them? Worst place ever.

John Rivera: Went to office to pick up my wife’s prescription and was told the doctor didn’t sign off on it. My wife had spoken to someone at the front desk (2 days before) and was told everything was good and that the doctor signed off on her chart to get prescription for contacts. They took her payment of over a hundred dollars for contacts and she wanted prescription also. Needless to say, nothing was true other than them taking payment for contacts. I handed over my phone to the worker so she could talk to my wife and she puts phone on speaker and gave attitude AND a FACE in front of me. Needless to say, that conversation didn’t go well. This PERSON should be happy she has a job at all. So when you call and get one of them, keep in mind THE FACE being given while you’re talking to them.
