D’Andre Ramos: This place is a scam I sent my daughter here for PCA School and they Gaslighted her saying they have plenty of oppertunities but don't bring up the fact that the opportunity are in CT/Hartford or 3-4 cities away!! Not to bring up the fact you can't get your certificate till you complete 2000 hours of work Damm near out of town! I'm leaving this review for my frustration and hope this helps people in the future. Waste of time!!!

Jennifer Fleischner: I manage the care of my in-laws long distance as I live in California. I have utilized the services of HomeCare Hands for over a year now. Before finding HomeCare hands, I had dealt with 3 other home care agencies over the last 3 years. I wish I found HomeCare Hands first. While nothing is perfect, HomeCare Hands has never let me down. My parents need 24/7 care. There has never been a time where I have received a call that they could not provide care. Many of our caregivers hold a special place in my heart. For many, it is more than a job. It is a vocation. All of the administrators are former care givers. Of course there will always be new hires learning the ropes but they are supported and trained in-house. I never feel like my calls are a burden. If I need to discuss something or have an issue, Nicole, Barrington and Brittaney have always been there for me but everyone pitches in, including the executives! A special shout out to Angie who helped me get started!

JoNan cunningham: Absolutely wonderful HHCA’s, my home has never been cleaner! My clothes washed, neatly folded, and put away. My wood flooring clean and glowing! A roast beef sandwich toasted! Yummy! The care and consideration, kindness and warmth of the office staff and the HHCA’s makes this company a diamond that shines bright! 💎☀️🌈❤️

Beverly King: I have been using HomeCare now for over a year and a half. Started with 24 hour care, when my husband had his second stroke. I was told he would need assistance when coming home. With hoyer, Help with walking with walker. Etc. someone keeping eye on him at night when he tried to get out of bed, he was a fall risk. I called and talked to Nicole E. who has been my angel helper since. She said we could get the help needed for him, and she was there every step of the way to help. Making sure I had coverage, and even stepping in to help cover in case of an appointment.I have had different helpers through this, depending on his needs. He now can’t walk but the helpers now have different duties. For example it was changing from assisting to showers, to sponge baths. Learning to Massaging his legs due to his spasms, instead of helping him walk with his walker. Ulcers that happened due to spasms now are healing due to massaging of legs. We have re prioritize his needs as needed. Nurses and Drs, can’t believe his ulcer has healed! I know it’s to the aides helping to massage his legs.The aides also who have taught me many things in helping care for him also. Tricks of the trade in how to move him when alone and not hurt myself. MyIrene was a teacher of that to me. Ari who helped me take him back and forth from ER to home. Helped with showers, Always on time. Destiny who was good at showers and getting him out of bed the proper way. Getting here 6 am so I could go for my dreaded colonoscopy early that morning. Helping him walk with walker. Taking him for walks In Wheelchair.While all aides can help with whatever you want, my concern was for my husband to get all the attention. Believe me he is getting it and loving it. A very pampered man with helpers at his beck and call. I like consistency of same person when I can, so if I appointments, he is comfortable with who his here. I give Nicole a heads up and she is sure I get the coverage I need for that day, even if she has to step in and help cover. I usually am able to extend hours on certain days if I give a heads up ahead of time, say for appointments.My helper now Ginari is my other angel with helping my husband. I like a helper that isn’t on her phone all the time. Just sitting and holding his hand when she can. Helping get him into hoyer to start the day and back in bed to end the day. Paying attention to him, talking to him. Encouraging him, Showing compassion. He is vey aware of what is going on even though he has asphasia. She talks to him all the time.Where else would the Homecare nurse, Nancy come and bring a thanksgiving dinner to our house from hers, on Thanksgiving. Or stop in when she heard I needed coverage to help with sponge bath last minute?I would highly recommend HomeCare Hands to anyone looking for good care at home for their loved ones. I have been very pleased with the help I have received. Caring, compassionate aides. I highly recommend them as an alternative to a nursing home. I have been very lucky and so has my husband in getting care that was/is needed at time.

Belinda Post: This company discriminates against seniors as employees.I had worked for Seniors Helping Seniors for 2 years in Boston & 2 years in Western Mass.After my interview I was told that I would hear one way or another if I would be accepted.I never heard back.The only other employee I met there was in her 30's at most.I would suggest if you want to work with the elderly go to another agency.

John John: The AFC managers have no clue what they are doing. There are no drug tests or physicals when hired orientation is one day or they throw a book at you like they do to all LPN’s. The nursing manager is an LPN whose is in charge of RN’s (that goes against the nursing scope of practice) an LPN can never manage an RN , but they wouldn’t know because they have no clue what they are doing. Everyone has a title that doesn’t correspond to their background.

Mitchell Lopez: My grandmother was in need of some assistance with her daily personal care but she didn't want to leave her house and move out. MetroCare helped our family get a Home Health Aide who helped my grandmother with basic needs like housekeeping, laundry and sometimes even bathing. My grandmother passed away a few months ago but I know for a fact that MetroCare helped her so that her last months of life were peaceful and stress free. Thank you MetroCare for everything I will always be grateful for the work you guys did!
