Erica Morin: I'm giving 3 stars because our RN was not great. She missed shifts. Never told us what hospice covered. What little she did order took forever to come in. My grams last day she called to see how she was. We explained that she was declining quickly and was resting. Her response was "so you don't need me to come in? I'd hate to bother her". Which sounds like she's being helpful when truthfully she's trying to skip her patient. When she came in she barely checked her. Gram passed that night. The night RN (Cody) which we met before deserves the 5 stars. He was the imagine of a hospice nurse. Very caring. Took time with the family. when our complaint was brought to Beacon they responded immediately and said they would take care of it. No other family will have to struggle with supplies and missed shifts. I'm very impressed they took our complaint seriously.

Every Beacon staff member was simply outstanding, and they provided us with the confidence, strength and emotional support to handle our situation in a way we never would have been able to do without them.We can not thank everyone enough, and our gratitude can not be fully expressed in words. Zulema Garcia: Beacon Hospice, is a wonderful company. My relative passed away and they were empathetic, understanding, comforting and supportive. They completed a special ceremony, the patient was a veteran. They had a flag ceremony and other veterans saluted the patient before they passed away. Beacon hospice is amazing.

Crisca Bierwert: A great help to my mom and to us the grown kids. The nurses' visits were very helpful, and we benefitted from being able to call 24/7 when we needed immediate guidance to handle a crisis, or even when just needed clarification. Also helped us get equipment, O2 and the hospital bed. Wonderful people, very sensitive, very knowledgeable.

Chris Leblanc: Would never recommend this hospice. My mother was on it for about 6 weeks while in Memory Care Assisted Living. Nurse came 2x/week. Good for medicating. Aide in 3x/week for personal care . She was great. Chaplain in a few times. That’s it! Never saw or spoke to a social worker even though I had mentioned possibility of taking mom home., Did notice on Medicare statement that payment included Social worker. Requested volunteers through aide but never had any. Most disturbing was mom died on her birthday and have never received ANY communication from hospice after her death. No grief counseling,etc. Talked about care plan when signing contract. Do not feel they fulfilled their responsibilities.
Gennie Lc: Wouldn't take my father, because they said he was going to live another 6 months - died a week later.About a month after that, called and asked for him (they knew that he'd died! ).Two months after that sent a note to my mom saying that he'd been gone for a year, and they know how difficult that is.I called to ask to be taken off their contact list and they said they could do that - without confirming who i was.
Sandra DiPIietro: CALLED SPOKE WOMAN IN INTAKE ABOUT MY MOTHER WHO WAS DECLINED FOR HOSPICE AND AS i ASKED FOR UNDERSTANDING OF WHAT SHE MEANT BY NON AMBULATORY SHE PROCEEDED TO STATE WE ARE GOING IN CIRCLES ABOUT THIS . SHE COULDN'T HAVE BEEN BOTHERED TO SENSITIVELY DISCUSS HER CONCERNS , RUDE AND HUFFED AND PUFFED . GREAT WAY TO DEAL WITH A DAUGHTER WHOSE WATCHING HER MOTHER DIE DAILY . ALSO THEY WONT TAKE ANYONE ON THAT BASICALLY CAN STILL OPEN THERE EYES, COMPLETELY USELESS. DO NOT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR LOVED ONES.

Lesa Stone2: This company has some areas to improve in, mostly in scheduling and reliable staff. That said, I have spoken many times with Casey, one of the scheduling coordinators, and it is my opinion that they are simply understaffed. Casey tries her best and it is obvious she cares about her job. I am not going to judge this company for being short staffed because unfortunately today many companies are.We were having scheduling issues with finding a reliable Home Health Care Aide. My mom is an 81 year old stroke survivor, and our family relies on someone to come in and help her. The prior Home Health Care Assistants were great, but not reliable. We were going to go to another company, but Casey suggested we switch to another aide, after the previous Aide was having some personal issues which made her difficult to rely on. She recommended we give Robin a try, and we are glad we did.The current Aide, Robin, is excellent. She is punctual, kind, experienced, and is the best aide my mom has had yet. She goes out of her way to make a personal connection with her patients, and you can see that she truly cares about the patients she works with. So, although the company could improve it's scheduling system, I do love this staff member, and also appreciate Casey in the office. I hope this company appreciates how lucky they are to have Robin and Casey!
Jett Craze: Very unreliable while my mother was alive. They just showed two months after her death to help her. I told them she had died and then they came back and said I was wrong. Unbelievable
