Mahalia Minton: I am currently staying at this hotel and have been here for two days for an event at the Mass Mutual Center. I didn’t expect much but I was pleasantly surprised with my stay here. The breakfast was great (they had an actual warm food breakfast rather than just pastries), the service is amazing, friendly, and so accommodating, and everything was very clean. There is a pool, fitness center, and beverages, free of charge, available throughout the day. Each time I come to Springfield this will be where I stay.Walkability: You’re in the center of anything you need. I went and ate at three different restaurants, gambled at the casino, stopped a CVS, and saw a show at the Mutual Center. Never needed to or moved my car once. Everything is located in a short (very short) walking distance.Food & drinks: There are so many food options only feet away from you. Korean, Italian, American, Spanish, and event a great spot for açaí bowls, smoothies and Buddha bowls for healthier options. Park your car and leave it because you can walk anywhere you want to go.
Nancy Kraft: Our room was across the street from a bar. The weather was nice and they took the party outside. Drunk people yelling all night. Sounded like a big party until nearly 4 am! And on a Tuesday! Wednesday was a rough day for me. Couldn’t they do something about this? Like call the police? Other than being unable to sleep, everything about our stay was lovely.

Daniel Parsons: I was very impressed! It had been newly remodeled. It was clean. They had shampoo, conditioner and soap in the shower. Breakfast has omelets, sausage and pancakes. All staff were friendly. It was quiet. The TV was bigger than most hotels.

Brenda Cody: The front staff members steal personal information. I’m sure it was the girl with the short black hair and big eyes, or her little friend that seemed overzealous to see me frazzled. I have filed a police report and will be holding this company responsible for the private information this woman has obtained and disclosed online. Not only did I stay at this hotel in expectation to have a safe place while in town on business yet arrive back after a long week of disasters to find not only has my safety been put at risk due to her disclosing my location/stay, but my personal information and credit card information used not even a full 48 hours after my stay. this was completely unacceptable and the whole process with authorities will just make things so much harder on me than they already were. Thank you Sheraton for being so “reliable” as the reviews online stated. I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear of this place when in Springfield, MA.

V Singh: The check in process was great, I am glad that someone is always at the front desk. The rooms are good but some of the brand amenities are not up to standard. Many times the pool is not clean and the fitness center is missing 4 weights. I know you'll ask me to go through the hilton website to look into this further but I don't really think there needs to be an investigation.

Allyson Wynn: I just want to say how much I enjoyed staying at this hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful, especially the night staff - Tammy and Marcella.I arrived in Springfield around 11pm, expecting to take a lyft from the train station to the hotel for my stay. I could not find a lyft anywhere in the city so I called the hotel to see if they had any suggestions because apparently Springfield does not have cab service either. Tammy was a rock star! She actually came and picked me up from the train station while Marcella tended tothe hotel. Then when I got to the hotel starving, they made suggestions for dinner and activities for the next day. I opted to purchase a frozen meal and a drink from the pantry; Marcella offered me plates, napkins, etc . for me to enjoy my meal as if I were out and about.The breakfast buffet was very good, the room comfortable and clean. Overall I had a fantastic stay but wanted to shoutout Tammy and Marcella for making it even better! Thank you ladies for saving the night for me!Nearby activities: NBA Hall of Fame Museum is across the parking lot, 7 min walk to the MGM Casino and 10 min walk to the Dr. Seuss Museum

Michele Lanci: I booked our stay through Expedia. We arrived at the hotel after driving three hours to be told Expedia canceled our trip. The receptionist said she couldn’t help us and there was no manager to speak to. I finally spoke to the manager Shane. He was rude. He spoke over me. He wouldn’t let me speak. He hung up on me and refused to come to the hotel. We had two families without a place to stay. We were over three hours from home. After waiting two hours another manager, Adam, helped us and we were able to stay. Not sure why we were told there were no rooms and then they found rooms. Our stay at the Hilton ruined our trip. I won’t use Expedia or stay at the Hilton if I can help it.

Robin Holden: It's a nice hotel, always has been. It can be a bit tricky to get around on and off the highway if it's your first time. There are place to eat within walking across the parking lot distance. The only issue was more times than not the elevator stank like weed, as did the area waiting for the elevator on the main level. The breakfast is better than many HGIs, but allow you self some time as it's not quick, but it is tasty and reasonably priced, I think the omelette was $12 with home fries and a side of breakfast meat.

No issues there, the front desk just did not give us our meal voucher when we first checked in and also when we called the front desk at night to ask them to bring an extra comforter they said they would and they never did. Other than that our room was great ! The curtains really block out sunlight which really allowed me to get some long overdue sleep.

Cheryl S: Nice clean motel. Stayed there four days, three nights for a mini quilt retreat. Very friendly staff. The only issue I and another friend had was the fridge, in our room, solidly froze our food we brought for our lunch and supper. Dunkin Donuts is next to the parking lot but no restaurants are within walking distance. Motel is right off the highway and about 30 mins from Bradley Airport. Dogs are also allowed for a fee. I would recommend staying there.Rooms: Rooms are very clean. Refrigerator and microwave are included, however, in two of the rooms the food got totally frozen in the fridge.Nearby activities: MGM Casino, Mass Mutual Center, Basketball Hall of Fame, the Big E, Springfield Armory and Dr Seuss to name a few.Safety: Plenty of safe, well lit parking in the front and back of motel.Walkability: Where this motel is located, there's nothing really close by to walk to, except Dunkin Donuts.

Rachel Darr: My husband and I stayed here for 2 separate occasions, but within the same month. I was having surgery at Baystate Hospital, so this hotel was incredibly convenient for us. Also, this hotel is right next to the freeways, so I imagine it's convenient for most people. The 1st stay was for one night for two adults. The place was pretty quiet and the staff were very kind and attentive. My only real complaint was that the toilet in our room wasn't properly secured to the floor, so it wobbled while in use. The 2nd stay was for two nights for two adults and a medium-large dog. It was much busier this time with lots of kids running around, but that didn't bother us. The staff were still very kind and attentive. Our room smelled mildly musty, but that didn't bother us, either. The toilet in this room also wasn't properly secured to the floor, but it didn't wobble as much. Also, this room had doors on opposite walls that led to other rooms, which was only mildly problematic the first night. We had to call the front desk at 1am because the people in the room next to us starting blaring music and talking super loud, but the front desk immediately intervened and luckily the folks making the noise obliged and were fairly quiet from that point on. My husband and our dog stayed in the room by themselves the 2nd night because I was in the hospital, but he reported that it was much quieter that night. All in all, this place is pretty stellar for the price. Don't expect the Ritz and you'll probably find yourself comfortable here. We will definitely be staying here again!

I am honestly extremely disappointed in this company and will never stay at one of these hotels in my lifetime again even when I’m over 21. For future reference, if you have a policy that forbids people under 21. (I’m 19) to stay at your establishment. You should make that clear as humanly possible. yet this establishment would not. and having it in small print where the average consumer won’t see it just makes you a scumbag.

I love having a membership and getting FREEPLAY money to play at the slots. I will never forget the last time I was here, I was playing at the Piggy Bank slot machines and I was winning as I went into active labor when my water broke. So disappointed that I had to leave because I was definitely enjoying my time there before becoming a mom for the first time.

DY M: We visited the casino to play some slots. The MGM garage parking was not difficult to find while using a GPS APP. There are five levels to park. There are stairs or elevators to use to enter into casino. We approached the front desk to receive a complimentary free $20.00 playing card. The atmosphere was bustling with people playing slot machines. We explored and found many restaurants wrapped around the outskirts of the playing floor. There is a free self accessed soft drink beverage vending dispenser. There are floor employees that can help in teaching one how to use the slot machines if you are unaware. There are many security guards at each entrance of the playing areas. There is a movie theatre on the second floor via elevator. Your playing card receives reward points when eating at the restaurants inside casino. Employee waitresses will bring free drinks while you play. The atmosphere felt safe and enjoyable. MGM is located in the south end of Springfield, Ma., So take advantage of Laflorentina Bakery, Mom & Rico's, Frigo's, Red Rose Pizza, Ciro's which are restaurants located outside of MGM. In all, it was an enjoyable day to explore what MGM has to offer. It's not a very large casino like Foxwoods or Mohegan with all the shopping stores, but it's nice to have a casino in Springfield. We're ready to go back and play more slots. Take a ride and share your thoughts on MGM.
Sam Wallis: The biggest drawback to MGM's casino is that its building space limits itself to such a degree that it can hardly be felt as a casino. Even such, if one were to disregard its spacial limitations compared to places like Mohegan, MGM still feels lacking in other areas. There are hardly any video poker machines now, compared to years past where they at least had their own section. Not only that but a number of my favorite games have gone missing. There are no more James Bond slots and during my last visit I didn't even see any Monopoly slots, its all Eastern themed games and ultimate link stuff.The staff and food court were friendly but the game selections and variety have taken a hit in my opinion.

Kevin Groff: Do not listen to the bad reviews. We had no issues at all with this hotel. Check in was a breeze. The guy who checked us in was super friendly. Come to find out he's moving in a few weeks, too bad as the hotel is going to lose a great representative for their front desk staff. The room was very clean and out of all the hotels I stayed in the last 2 weeks I slept the best in this bed. Felt like we were at home. Yes you could occasionally hear others once in a while but tell me a hotel you can't. We have a 2 month old that it didn't bother so I'd say hotel noise isn't that bad. Breakfast isn't free but I'd rather pay for something that comes to the table freshly cooked vs a free breakfast from others that ya never know what your going to get.

Nitzalice Pizarro: The first problem was when we registered, apparently the card was not accepted and we need another one but the money was taken out of our bank account. If we had not verified the amount of the bank, we would have been charged twice. Before registering, we had called to confirm how much the accident deposit would be and they told us an amount and it ended up being double. The bathroom in our room was full of hair but we were really tired to protest. We decided to order a margarita at the bar and the service was really horrible and we couldn't enjoy the drink because it didn't really taste good.

Robbie Phillips: Stayed 2 nights (saturday and sunday). Checked in but didn't get to the room until around 10:30pm. Upon arrival to our room on the 3rd floor, we heard constant loud noise and banging coming from above our room. It sounded like a party was going on. I waited to see if it would calm down around 11pm I tried calling the front desk (no answer) then went back to the front desk to report the issue. The noise died down enough for us to fall asleep, however, around 4:30am! I was woken up to the same noise and had to again call the front desk! Our second night went much smoother and I asked the front desk if the same group would be above us.. They stated "no" and they didnt' seem surprised at the issue and apologized, they also stated the manager would review the issue in the morning (monday) and would probably give us a discount.Monday morning we checked out around 10:30am and the manager asked how our stay was. I explained the above to which I got "Sorry about that, let me get you a receipt. Be well."Cool, thanks..This topped with the hotel smelling of marijuana smoke and the loud noises will probably be reasons enough for me not to utilize this location in the future.
sandi stewart: Perfect for my daughter extended stay as a travel nurse. Manager Susan Daley and her staff are wonderful. My daughter's room was cleaned, comfortable a mini apartment away from home. We wanted to make sure she was safe, comfortable close to the hospital and in a quite place. This place provided everything she was looking for without having to rent a short term lease apartment. Anyone providing less than 5 star review is not being truthful. As a parent I felt comfortable leaving my daughter here in Springfield at this location. We looked at several locations from apartments to airbnb to other hotels to bed and breakfast and this was the best option for us. Thank you so much. We get to fly back home knowing our daughter will ge safe and close to her job.

Every person I interacted with was polite. Everything was super clean. I really liked the Dove brand soap & hair products! Kristen Ott: I reserved a room for 8/5-8/7 and tested positive for Covid 8/1. As a responsible adult, I cancelled my reservation as to not spread the illness. Because of this, I lost almost $500 due to their garbage cancellation policy that required a cancellation before 7/29. I would recommend staying at literally any other hotel that does not employ predatory cancellation "policies" during an unpredictable pandemic.

When me and my family went to go to the pool, there were people staring at us in a weird/rude way, they got all their stuff and left like we was about to steal.. Nunya Bizniss: My friend and I went to Boston and Springfield for the weekend of November 18-21. Check-in took FOREVER! We were placed in one of the separate buildings which appears to be undergoing renovation. Fine, I get it, you have to renovate at some point, right? But, this stay was pretty foul! The building itself appeared to be falling apart. The overhang had no paneling, lights and ceiling boxes, insulation, all were visibly hanging out. There were broken screens on many of the windows. Then, we step into the room. The smell of stale smoke and ash nearly knocked us over! But beyond that, the toilet seat was broken, the walls were dirty, and the whole room was simply gross. Now, my friend booked this room, so I didn't complain too much. But keep in mind, neither of us smokes! And he said he asked for a non-smoking room. But, we were only going to be staying one night, and spent most of that time out and about anyway. So, we sucked it up and dealt with it. If I had booked this room, I definitely would have asked for a different room, at minimum.

Susy Grison Manzan: Why 3 stars: you only find out that they won't clean your room when you enter the room, the front desk doesn't tell you any information, you have to find out everything about the hotel. He doesn't say the time for the breakfast place, he doesn't say the time for the pool, where the hotel stuff is, he just knows how to pick up your credit card. Breakfast is super ok, but it arrives at 9:30 am and breakfast on weekends is until 10 am, there was no more juice or water and they weren't going to replenish it, I think so if coffee goes until 10 am morning and we also pay for the service no matter what time you get off, you have the same rights as those who came earlier.Another thing that bothered me was the fact that they left little toilet paper, a roll already used before, super thin, that is, at the end and not having any other toilet paper to replace it, since the hotel does not clean the dorms, they should leave an extra roll for the guest! You don't pay so cheaply, because 200 dollars for that is expensive for me, I've stayed in others for less and they're much better.I think the only thing that saves this hotel is the pool because even the room has a musty smell, the size of the room is nice, but the rest leaves a little to be desired. I recommend the hotel if you are staying in the city for one night.Oh before I forget people too (actually children) running through the corridors, screaming, at times when you want to sleep, if you come to a hotel it's not to hear screams and running in the corridor.
