Ahmad: Items are usually stale and more expensive than other places.You can find the same items with better prices in the store nearby. Breads were not fresh, and they were not kept in a fridge.There are a couple of stores in the same street with more fresh stuff and better prices.
tristan dietrich: I called and asked for a certain item. The man said yes, they have it so I drove over and a sign said closed til 1pm. I just wasted time. He could have just told me that it would be closed. Thanks.I am changing this to a 5 star because the owner responded by offering to deliver free nuts. He apologized for not advising me for being closed so they can have prayer time.I have never had any store offer this kind of service so I had to change this review. I wish many blessings on this stores family. We did finally find the nuts so I declined his offer but I fully intend to become a regular December visitor for my hazelnuts.

Shahab Rastegar: Great locally owned Middle Eastern grocery store! They have spices and ingredients I can't find anywhere else. The meat is from a local farm delivered every week and broken down at the store by a butcher. The butcher is very nice.

anna k: Были очень довольны раньше, но последнее время от приготовленных салатов живот болит. У них индейку покупаем только для детей, купили в воскресенье 1/2 паунда, сегодня вторник и уже пропала. Сервис был ужасный от продавца из дели отдела, женщина из Украины обслужила через зубы и на Украинском. Новый продавец которую стажировала к ней относилась предвзято и командирским поведением. Очень не приятно.

D M: Freshly made food from Russia, just like how I remember how my grandma used to make it. The meats and cheeses are tastier than in most natural food co-ops in the area. They also carry medicinal herbs from Russia, things like Siberian Ginseng, which is pretty fantastic.

Godric Phoenix: Not a good place to shop if you're a black folk. I left the there market with a defective shopping bag. My items was not double bag and in result to that the jar of pickles I got fall from a opening in the bottom on the shopping bag along with the tomatoe I had. I want back immediately and told the cashier and the manager at first they said they can't do nothing about it. I told them that that was on them because the bag was defective. The cashier was then talking to the manager in Spanish and he then allowed me to get the item I lost. He had a attitude and I told him that I'm not shopping here anymore.

Lauren D'Elia: Beware.... they have a lot of expired product on their shelves.
Suman S: There are like bazillion Big Y’s within 5mile radius and not one of them are ‘world class’ as they claim to be. A lot less options to choose from. Also the stuffs they carry are pretty generic and mediocre. Even smaller chain stores like Hannaford in Eastern Mass have way better options to choose from. Springfield really needs better grocery stores Or Big Y really needs better inventory planners.

The unfortunate thing is they’ve converted a once very specializedStore to a conventional grocery store. Fresh acres used to make grocery shopping for dietary needs so simple. I was able to shop like anyone else and know that the items I needed would be placed in aisles like any other store. Now they’ve gotten rid of -everything- leaving gluten, dairy free, fods(if there even is any at all) and organics in that one tiny, sparse janky little shelf off to the side. Everything that made that store so special is gone. It was awesome to have something that made shopping for me as easy as it is for anyone else. It’s a small store with too many aisles now. I have no reason to come back to this store, and I won’t be. Big y is a dime a dozen- fresh acres was a dietary need.
