Anthony Santaniello: I had a wedding party over the weekend with my now new wife. Had an out of state marriage, coming from South Carolina where we live now for the past 8 years it was hard to plan things out being so far away. The manager TJ was so helpful from the beginning, I wanted a room with a Jacuzzi tub for our wedding night so the new wife and I could just relax and “Soak” in the amazing night we’d just had. Being so far away I couldn’t check out the rooms in person, so TJ had sent me his personal number and photographs of each Jacuzzi tub room. I was able to choose which one I wanted, found the biggest tub they had and asked him to even sanitize it the night before we arrived. He took care of everything for me with additional pictures to show what kind of sanitizer he used, and even had the AC unit turned on and the room cooled off for the day we checked in. He told me that night that the following checkout time would be 11 o’clock but to not worry and take our time. He said just enjoy your wedding night, so we checked out at 12:30 in the afternoon the next morning! The service was beyond amazing, and I would highly recommend this hotel. He also left snacks and water in the mini fridge in the room for us, just in case we were a little hungry getting there. TJ was amazing, and I can’t thank him enough!

Melissa Slater: Very terrible place got in the room got settled got in bed after driving for 3 hours started itching like crazy was only in the Room for less than an hour. Call front desk the guy was very arrogant was not refunding me not a dollar of my money myself and my husband were itching all over was beet red from itching so bad wanted to check out ask for money back even if he kept a cleaning fee I was okay with that but did not want to give me back any of my money clearly there's a bug problem in this establishment we ended up leaving and I'm just rooting the payment through my credit card... very bad businessman said the people rob him...
Matt Kreis: Desk Clerk was disrespectful saying there was no room after saying the deposit was unreasonable because we did not have the money for the room. We did no even pay for any so called deposit when we stayed there 2 months ago and we know it is a scam. No respectable should stay in this place with rude staff and polices that discourage people from staying. Do not stay unless you want to lose your money and be completely disrespected by staff.

Yari M: Horrible experience. Came to relax and couldn't even do so. People next door to us was up all night fighting. When asked can we change rooms,all they do is call the police and asked if I wanted to give a statement. No I want to be moved....Police left and it was still the same all night long. Morning time came we asked for atleast a discount. We are told that was not possible.Paid 230$For a room that is run down only good thing is the jacuzzi so we delt with it....But after the yelling all night long,not being moved when asked,or not even a discount...I will be calling my bank to fight the charges.So very very disappointed in the customer service from this establishment.

Nunya Bizniss: My friend and I went to Boston and Springfield for the weekend of November 18-21. Check-in took FOREVER! We were placed in one of the separate buildings which appears to be undergoing renovation. Fine, I get it, you have to renovate at some point, right? But, this stay was pretty foul! The building itself appeared to be falling apart. The overhang had no paneling, lights and ceiling boxes, insulation, all were visibly hanging out. There were broken screens on many of the windows. Then, we step into the room. The smell of stale smoke and ash nearly knocked us over! But beyond that, the toilet seat was broken, the walls were dirty, and the whole room was simply gross. Now, my friend booked this room, so I didn't complain too much. But keep in mind, neither of us smokes! And he said he asked for a non-smoking room. But, we were only going to be staying one night, and spent most of that time out and about anyway. So, we sucked it up and dealt with it. If I had booked this room, I definitely would have asked for a different room, at minimum.

Adventures with Jax: I brought my kids today and I was disappointed. The pool area is nice but it's dark. I asked the lifeguard and he mentioned that he told his manager and the manager responded that it cost thousands of dollars to fix. The changing room was disgusting, dirty with wet diapers and trash in the floor. I understand that they had a previous session before the one I attended but the least they can do is make sure everything is clean before people arrived. They need to remodel this hotel ASAP.

Heidi Horne: I attended an event and the room was dirty before the host even set up. Then the staff was really rude to top it off. The only nice person who seemed to like ppl was the maintenance man. Also the life guard in her fuzzy uggs and sweat clothes didn’t seem very interested in making sure people were safe unless she was life guarding whatever was in her cell phone. A happy staff would go along way in that place. Save your money don’t do an event!

Jen Boylan: I was trying to bring my teen her for her birthday with a friend during winter break, but the water park is only open on the weekends. Thankfully I checked all the details before I finished booking. Very irritated, because I did a search for specific days at places w/water parks and this showed up despite not being offered those days.
Miss Ashley: This hotel looks absolutely gorgeous! I didn't stay in any of the rooms, but attended an event there. The room was plenty large enough, clean, and spacious! The lobby welcomes you in and the peek I got at the water park looks like so much fun!

Stephen Onofrio: If you have any good expectations stop right now, besides having a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in, this place is pretty awful. The smell in my room and the disgust of how dirty everything was, this place needs a complete overhaul. Had to spend $30 on cleaning supplies and sprays just to make my room somewhat clean from the grime and scent, just brutal.
Crystal Hill: First and foremost I was double charged and I did not stay at all. Upon check in for 3pm the receptionist was very rude. Heading into the room the lights did not work we tried plugging them into different sockets which did not work as well the room had a very strong unpleasant smell. I left out around 3:30pm came back for 6pm my daughter had friends over which I told the receptionist. Upon the kids being there one found something inappropriate under the back side of the bed when brought to the managers attention nothing was done so one of the smaller children touched a used condom which had stuff inside of it smh. I check out within a hour of actually being in the room. They also have people living there which was uncomfortable. The pool is a $10 charge the water park is $20 I knew of the water park price but was not aware you have to pay for the pool and it’s only open from 4p-7p which was not stated anywhere when booking. The manager rudely stared me and my family up and down I am African American my fiancé is Latino when I asked why he looked at us like that the comment he made was uncalled for I truly felt discriminated he literally paused what he was doing and stared for a while. I was uncomfortable to the extreme I do not recommend I have stayed at all sorts of hotels in different states and countries this by far was the worst. I was told my double charge will be back in my account I have yet to get it I requested a refund of all charges and was given contact information for someone who can not help with the issue I called the next day and all I did was get a run around highly disappointing
Lou Esposito: Well this will be a mixed review. The staff was very nice. The music venue was also nice, but I had no hot water in my room. Had to take cold showers, and they said they would look into it, which they didn't. When I spoke to the manager on my last day there, he knew nothing about it. I was told they had no rooms available to give me, and that was the end of the story. I realize this is a Clarion issue. The staff doesn't own the hotel. This is no way to run a business.

Kierra Mack: I wish I could give 0 stars I will never give these people my money again. I was quoted and received a receipt for one price but after my stay once I check my statement I see I was charged a totally different price. I stayed here 3/18/23. Today is 3/24/23 and the issue is still not resolved. The first time I called the person was very rude and gave me two different names when I asked for his name then when I offered to email or text proof that I was charged a different price he said "and what am I supposed to do about it on my end it doesn't show that price". The second time I called I asked for a manager and was sent to her voicemail I left a message and a day later still hadn't heard back. The next time I called I explained the situation again to another worker she gave me an email address to send my statement to. The next day I called twice and was told the person I had just spoken to during the first call of that day was not there although I had just spoken to them. By this time I'm frustrated but hoping since I emailed them proof someone would do something. I was wrong after not hearing from the manager or anyone I talked to previously I called again today and was told once again they don't see the price on their end and I should check with my bank when I asked why no one got back to me once I sent proof I was told the manager is working on it yet no one contacted me about ever even receiving my email so yes never again will I deal with these nasty people

Immediately when you walk into the room we rented, there’s an old smell. Everything is outdated, shower head is old and hard water stains. Boston Dan: Absolutely atrocious. Went to check in. Door to the main office was locked. That should've been a sign to run. Spent two nights. Almost left after the first one. Room smelled terrible. Black mold on the bathroom ceiling. We had NO blankets. Just sheets. All these 4+ ratings.. are bogus. There was nothing comfortable about this place. Pretty sure there was a cop with a dog scoping out the place too.This is more of a place to live for people down and out. Just don't stay here if you're traveling. And don't leave any personal items in your car

S JM: I paid $130 to stay at the most disgusting and unsafe motel I’ve ever been to in my life. The room was absolutely disgusting. The bed was concave with plastic pillows. The blanket had stains all over it. There was trash on the floor. The lamps were practically falling off the wall and lamp shades stained. The toilet seat was not connected to the toilet. The walls were stained and cracked and the wall paper was peeling. We asked for a non smoking room and the room reaked of cigarettes and the fire detector was ripped off the ceiling. There were people screaming throughout the night and a man stomped past our room in the morning cursing. I felt incredibly unsafe. I would never ever ever stay at the econolodge again.

My room was filthy, dirty walls, stained carpets, a horrible smell, the lights were barely on the walls. There was a dog barking loudly. Half the parking lot was dirt. The front desk lady was very nice and polite. I did not stay. I forfeited the money I paid.

Robbie Phillips: Stayed 2 nights (saturday and sunday). Checked in but didn't get to the room until around 10:30pm. Upon arrival to our room on the 3rd floor, we heard constant loud noise and banging coming from above our room. It sounded like a party was going on. I waited to see if it would calm down around 11pm I tried calling the front desk (no answer) then went back to the front desk to report the issue. The noise died down enough for us to fall asleep, however, around 4:30am! I was woken up to the same noise and had to again call the front desk! Our second night went much smoother and I asked the front desk if the same group would be above us.. They stated "no" and they didnt' seem surprised at the issue and apologized, they also stated the manager would review the issue in the morning (monday) and would probably give us a discount.Monday morning we checked out around 10:30am and the manager asked how our stay was. I explained the above to which I got "Sorry about that, let me get you a receipt. Be well."Cool, thanks..This topped with the hotel smelling of marijuana smoke and the loud noises will probably be reasons enough for me not to utilize this location in the future.
sandi stewart: Perfect for my daughter extended stay as a travel nurse. Manager Susan Daley and her staff are wonderful. My daughter's room was cleaned, comfortable a mini apartment away from home. We wanted to make sure she was safe, comfortable close to the hospital and in a quite place. This place provided everything she was looking for without having to rent a short term lease apartment. Anyone providing less than 5 star review is not being truthful. As a parent I felt comfortable leaving my daughter here in Springfield at this location. We looked at several locations from apartments to airbnb to other hotels to bed and breakfast and this was the best option for us. Thank you so much. We get to fly back home knowing our daughter will ge safe and close to her job.

Maria Bareiss: I needed a break from the world. I just wanted a hotel with a hot tub and a comfortable bed. This place exceeded my expectations! I had a room with a kitchen; it even had a dishwasher! Every person I interacted with was polite. Everything was super clean. I really liked the Dove brand soap & hair products! Usually I just use my own products because hotel products are often too aromatic for me.Nearby activities: It's near restaurants and not far from both the casino and helpful cannabis dispensaries. Kristen Ott: I reserved a room for 8/5-8/7 and tested positive for Covid 8/1. As a responsible adult, I cancelled my reservation as to not spread the illness. Because of this, I lost almost $500 due to their garbage cancellation policy that required a cancellation before 7/29. I would recommend staying at literally any other hotel that does not employ predatory cancellation "policies" during an unpredictable pandemic.
Ali Nieves: We had a long day and me and my family decided to stay in this hotel. It was all fun until the first night we saw 3 spiders in the room we was staying in. When me and my family went to go to the pool, there were people staring at us in a weird/rude way, they got all their stuff and left like we was about to steal.. Other than that, we had a fun time at the hotel!

Erika Cotter: Mattress and sheets stained... drawer missing...door looks like it’s been kicked in before... and even though checkout is at 11, the owners were trying to kick us out at 10:45 knocking on the door and yelling while we were finishing up packing m... and they kept knocking on the door even when we said we were almost done.... and to be honest we were still done before, 11 but stayed until 11 on the dot after that out of spite. Figured I might as well try to get my money worth somewhere... because What the hell did I spend 90 dollars for?

Kaleigh Montoya: Rooms are decent sized, you can get 1 or 2 beds. Rooms have a table and chairs, mini fridge, microwave, and a TV. Some of the TV are flat screen, others are box TV's. The bathrooms have a toilet and a shower, with a bathtub. The sink outside the bathroom, so it can be used for other things. The bathroom is cleaned, but not always the best. Some rooms have painting drips on the floor and in the bathtub. As for the cleanliness of the rest of the room, it is vacuumed and garbage's are emptied. Corners have some dust/dirt buildup. A lot of the curtains are broken. Along with thermostat's and outlet covers. Some rooms have dents in the walls. The staff/owners are very nice, a bit hard to understand, but very willing to work with you on the prices of the rooms. There is almost always a room available.
