Palifox Jenkins: Couldn't get something to drink while playing slots to save my life. After about 20min of playing, a worker in the area appeared and took my order. Then, she never returned (I was in the same spot she took my order from, as I was waiting for her). About 30min later I went walking to find someone, anyone who could help. I couldn't find a drink person, but I came across two employees standing there chatting. After they could not find a drink person for me, they apologized and told me they would go get me something to drink themselves. They also told me about the buttons on the machines I could use to call for a drink. They were both really friendly - BUT - they too also never returned (I was in the same place they left me). After about 15min, I used the machine I was at to select drink service, hoping someone would come. No one showed up. Started to wonder if I was being pranked! Finally, a new server came around (not because I used the machine to call for service, but simply because she was taking orders nearby and had finally made it over my way). Disorganized and sparse service. The way of many places nowadays, unfortunately. :-/ Too bad. I'm a great tipper.

Gaming floor was entertaining although it reminded me that the house always wins but had a great time just wish the waitess/waiter was easier to find when needing a drink. Plentiful covered parking. Nick Sampson: Fun casino. Payouts have always been decent since it’s opening. As how typical casinos work, the house always wins. MGM Springfield has a good rewards program. If you’re a frequent flyer, you get very good food comps.Easy parking, easy exit, and the best free parking for Thunderbirds. Now if we can just get the massmutual building fixed up downtown Springfield will be full of stuff to do!

Lucy Bultrón: I love to come to the casino, there's free parking and I always have a great time walking around and playing at the slot machines. I love having a membership and getting FREEPLAY money to play at the slots. I will never forget the last time I was here, I was playing at the Piggy Bank slot machines and I was winning as I went into active labor when my water broke. So disappointed that I had to leave because I was definitely enjoying my time there before becoming a mom for the first time.

DY M: We visited the casino to play some slots. The MGM garage parking was not difficult to find while using a GPS APP. There are five levels to park. There are stairs or elevators to use to enter into casino. We approached the front desk to receive a complimentary free $20.00 playing card. The atmosphere was bustling with people playing slot machines. We explored and found many restaurants wrapped around the outskirts of the playing floor. There is a free self accessed soft drink beverage vending dispenser. There are floor employees that can help in teaching one how to use the slot machines if you are unaware. There are many security guards at each entrance of the playing areas. There is a movie theatre on the second floor via elevator. Your playing card receives reward points when eating at the restaurants inside casino. Employee waitresses will bring free drinks while you play. The atmosphere felt safe and enjoyable. MGM is located in the south end of Springfield, Ma., So take advantage of Laflorentina Bakery, Mom & Rico's, Frigo's, Red Rose Pizza, Ciro's which are restaurants located outside of MGM. In all, it was an enjoyable day to explore what MGM has to offer. It's not a very large casino like Foxwoods or Mohegan with all the shopping stores, but it's nice to have a casino in Springfield. We're ready to go back and play more slots. Take a ride and share your thoughts on MGM.
Sam Wallis: The biggest drawback to MGM's casino is that its building space limits itself to such a degree that it can hardly be felt as a casino. Even such, if one were to disregard its spacial limitations compared to places like Mohegan, MGM still feels lacking in other areas. There are hardly any video poker machines now, compared to years past where they at least had their own section. Not only that but a number of my favorite games have gone missing. There are no more James Bond slots and during my last visit I didn't even see any Monopoly slots, its all Eastern themed games and ultimate link stuff.The staff and food court were friendly but the game selections and variety have taken a hit in my opinion.

Brenda Cody: The front staff members steal personal information. I’m sure it was the girl with the short black hair and big eyes, or her little friend that seemed overzealous to see me frazzled. I have filed a police report and will be holding this company responsible for the private information this woman has obtained and disclosed online. Not only did I stay at this hotel in expectation to have a safe place while in town on business yet arrive back after a long week of disasters to find not only has my safety been put at risk due to her disclosing my location/stay, but my personal information and credit card information used not even a full 48 hours after my stay. this was completely unacceptable and the whole process with authorities will just make things so much harder on me than they already were. Thank you Sheraton for being so “reliable” as the reviews online stated. I will be telling everyone I know to steer clear of this place when in Springfield, MA.

Adventures with Jax: I brought my kids today and I was disappointed. The pool area is nice but it's dark. I asked the lifeguard and he mentioned that he told his manager and the manager responded that it cost thousands of dollars to fix. The changing room was disgusting, dirty with wet diapers and trash in the floor. I understand that they had a previous session before the one I attended but the least they can do is make sure everything is clean before people arrived. They need to remodel this hotel ASAP.

Heidi Horne: I attended an event and the room was dirty before the host even set up. Then the staff was really rude to top it off. The only nice person who seemed to like ppl was the maintenance man. Also the life guard in her fuzzy uggs and sweat clothes didn’t seem very interested in making sure people were safe unless she was life guarding whatever was in her cell phone. A happy staff would go along way in that place. Save your money don’t do an event!

Jen Boylan: I was trying to bring my teen her for her birthday with a friend during winter break, but the water park is only open on the weekends. Thankfully I checked all the details before I finished booking. Very irritated, because I did a search for specific days at places w/water parks and this showed up despite not being offered those days.
Miss Ashley: This hotel looks absolutely gorgeous! I didn't stay in any of the rooms, but attended an event there. The room was plenty large enough, clean, and spacious! The lobby welcomes you in and the peek I got at the water park looks like so much fun!

Stephen Onofrio: If you have any good expectations stop right now, besides having a roof over your head and a bed to sleep in, this place is pretty awful. The smell in my room and the disgust of how dirty everything was, this place needs a complete overhaul. Had to spend $30 on cleaning supplies and sprays just to make my room somewhat clean from the grime and scent, just brutal.
Crystal Hill: First and foremost I was double charged and I did not stay at all. Upon check in for 3pm the receptionist was very rude. Heading into the room the lights did not work we tried plugging them into different sockets which did not work as well the room had a very strong unpleasant smell. I left out around 3:30pm came back for 6pm my daughter had friends over which I told the receptionist. Upon the kids being there one found something inappropriate under the back side of the bed when brought to the managers attention nothing was done so one of the smaller children touched a used condom which had stuff inside of it smh. I check out within a hour of actually being in the room. They also have people living there which was uncomfortable. The pool is a $10 charge the water park is $20 I knew of the water park price but was not aware you have to pay for the pool and it’s only open from 4p-7p which was not stated anywhere when booking. The manager rudely stared me and my family up and down I am African American my fiancé is Latino when I asked why he looked at us like that the comment he made was uncalled for I truly felt discriminated he literally paused what he was doing and stared for a while. I was uncomfortable to the extreme I do not recommend I have stayed at all sorts of hotels in different states and countries this by far was the worst. I was told my double charge will be back in my account I have yet to get it I requested a refund of all charges and was given contact information for someone who can not help with the issue I called the next day and all I did was get a run around highly disappointing
Lou Esposito: Well this will be a mixed review. The staff was very nice. The music venue was also nice, but I had no hot water in my room. Had to take cold showers, and they said they would look into it, which they didn't. When I spoke to the manager on my last day there, he knew nothing about it. I was told they had no rooms available to give me, and that was the end of the story. I realize this is a Clarion issue. The staff doesn't own the hotel. This is no way to run a business.

Kevin Groff: Do not listen to the bad reviews. We had no issues at all with this hotel. Check in was a breeze. The guy who checked us in was super friendly. Come to find out he's moving in a few weeks, too bad as the hotel is going to lose a great representative for their front desk staff. The room was very clean and out of all the hotels I stayed in the last 2 weeks I slept the best in this bed. Felt like we were at home. Yes you could occasionally hear others once in a while but tell me a hotel you can't. We have a 2 month old that it didn't bother so I'd say hotel noise isn't that bad. Breakfast isn't free but I'd rather pay for something that comes to the table freshly cooked vs a free breakfast from others that ya never know what your going to get.

Nitzalice Pizarro: The first problem was when we registered, apparently the card was not accepted and we need another one but the money was taken out of our bank account. If we had not verified the amount of the bank, we would have been charged twice. Before registering, we had called to confirm how much the accident deposit would be and they told us an amount and it ended up being double. The bathroom in our room was full of hair but we were really tired to protest. We decided to order a margarita at the bar and the service was really horrible and we couldn't enjoy the drink because it didn't really taste good.

Cheryl S: Nice clean motel. Stayed there four days, three nights for a mini quilt retreat. Very friendly staff. The only issue I and another friend had was the fridge, in our room, solidly froze our food we brought for our lunch and supper. Dunkin Donuts is next to the parking lot but no restaurants are within walking distance. Motel is right off the highway and about 30 mins from Bradley Airport. Dogs are also allowed for a fee. I would recommend staying there.Rooms: Rooms are very clean. Refrigerator and microwave are included, however, in two of the rooms the food got totally frozen in the fridge.Nearby activities: MGM Casino, Mass Mutual Center, Basketball Hall of Fame, the Big E, Springfield Armory and Dr Seuss to name a few.Safety: Plenty of safe, well lit parking in the front and back of motel.Walkability: Where this motel is located, there's nothing really close by to walk to, except Dunkin Donuts.

Rachel Darr: My husband and I stayed here for 2 separate occasions, but within the same month. I was having surgery at Baystate Hospital, so this hotel was incredibly convenient for us. Also, this hotel is right next to the freeways, so I imagine it's convenient for most people. The 1st stay was for one night for two adults. The place was pretty quiet and the staff were very kind and attentive. My only real complaint was that the toilet in our room wasn't properly secured to the floor, so it wobbled while in use. The 2nd stay was for two nights for two adults and a medium-large dog. It was much busier this time with lots of kids running around, but that didn't bother us. The staff were still very kind and attentive. Our room smelled mildly musty, but that didn't bother us, either. The toilet in this room also wasn't properly secured to the floor, but it didn't wobble as much. Also, this room had doors on opposite walls that led to other rooms, which was only mildly problematic the first night. We had to call the front desk at 1am because the people in the room next to us starting blaring music and talking super loud, but the front desk immediately intervened and luckily the folks making the noise obliged and were fairly quiet from that point on. My husband and our dog stayed in the room by themselves the 2nd night because I was in the hospital, but he reported that it was much quieter that night. All in all, this place is pretty stellar for the price. Don't expect the Ritz and you'll probably find yourself comfortable here. We will definitely be staying here again!

I am honestly extremely disappointed in this company and will never stay at one of these hotels in my lifetime again even when I’m over 21. For future reference, if you have a policy that forbids people under 21. (I’m 19) to stay at your establishment. You should make that clear as humanly possible. yet this establishment would not. and having it in small print where the average consumer won’t see it just makes you a scumbag.

V Singh: The check in process was great, I am glad that someone is always at the front desk. The rooms are good but some of the brand amenities are not up to standard. Many times the pool is not clean and the fitness center is missing 4 weights. I know you'll ask me to go through the hilton website to look into this further but I don't really think there needs to be an investigation.

Robbie Phillips: Stayed 2 nights (saturday and sunday). Checked in but didn't get to the room until around 10:30pm. Upon arrival to our room on the 3rd floor, we heard constant loud noise and banging coming from above our room. It sounded like a party was going on. I waited to see if it would calm down around 11pm I tried calling the front desk (no answer) then went back to the front desk to report the issue. The noise died down enough for us to fall asleep, however, around 4:30am! I was woken up to the same noise and had to again call the front desk! Our second night went much smoother and I asked the front desk if the same group would be above us.. They stated "no" and they didnt' seem surprised at the issue and apologized, they also stated the manager would review the issue in the morning (monday) and would probably give us a discount.Monday morning we checked out around 10:30am and the manager asked how our stay was. I explained the above to which I got "Sorry about that, let me get you a receipt. Be well."Cool, thanks..This topped with the hotel smelling of marijuana smoke and the loud noises will probably be reasons enough for me not to utilize this location in the future.
sandi stewart: Perfect for my daughter extended stay as a travel nurse. Manager Susan Daley and her staff are wonderful. My daughter's room was cleaned, comfortable a mini apartment away from home. We wanted to make sure she was safe, comfortable close to the hospital and in a quite place. This place provided everything she was looking for without having to rent a short term lease apartment. Anyone providing less than 5 star review is not being truthful. As a parent I felt comfortable leaving my daughter here in Springfield at this location. We looked at several locations from apartments to airbnb to other hotels to bed and breakfast and this was the best option for us. Thank you so much. We get to fly back home knowing our daughter will ge safe and close to her job.

Maria Bareiss: I needed a break from the world. I just wanted a hotel with a hot tub and a comfortable bed. This place exceeded my expectations! I had a room with a kitchen; it even had a dishwasher! Every person I interacted with was polite. Everything was super clean. I really liked the Dove brand soap & hair products! Usually I just use my own products because hotel products are often too aromatic for me.Nearby activities: It's near restaurants and not far from both the casino and helpful cannabis dispensaries. (I recommend Dazed.)

Kristen Ott: I reserved a room for 8/5-8/7 and tested positive for Covid 8/1. As a responsible adult, I cancelled my reservation as to not spread the illness. Because of this, I lost almost $500 due to their garbage cancellation policy that required a cancellation before 7/29. I would recommend staying at literally any other hotel that does not employ predatory cancellation "policies" during an unpredictable pandemic.
Ali Nieves: We had a long day and me and my family decided to stay in this hotel. It was all fun until the first night we saw 3 spiders in the room we was staying in. When me and my family went to go to the pool, there were people staring at us in a weird/rude way, they got all their stuff and left like we was about to steal.. Other than that, we had a fun time at the hotel!

Ron Schnaper: I stayed here for a wedding I was attending a year and a half ago and the experience was so horrendous I haven't forgotten a detail. The hotel was having plumbing issues with a pump in the hot water system so there was a loud banging going on all night long. Instead of shutting off the pump they left it on all night long so some pilots could take a shower in the morning. Really tough experience. Many of the guests were able to change to rooms less effected (less noisy) but we were not.

spirit wolf: I booked a reservation 4 months ago FOR 7 DAYS, and received a confirmation. One week before my flight, I received a notice from the MOTEL that my reservations were now cancelled because they were OVER BOOKED. DO NOT RESERVE ANY ROOMS WITH THIS MOTEL, BECAUSE APPARENTLY BOOKING 4 MONTHS IN ADVANCE AND RECEIVING A CONFIRMATION NUMBER MEANS NOTHING TO THEM. THEY DO NO HONOR THEIR RESERVATIONS, NOR DID THEY DO ANYTHING TO MAKE IT RIGHT. IT WAS BASICALLY SO SORRY BUT FIND ANOTHER HOTEL. I WILL NEVER BOOK WITH A HOLIDAY INN EVER AGAIN, ESPECIALLY THIS ONE. RUN TO A HOTEL THAT HONORS RESERVATIONS.

M.K. Sung: They overbooked me and then put me in a Hampton Inn. They said that it was due to a technical glitch. Well, now I’m 10 mins further than where I needed to be. It seems that they’re going through some sort of renovation but I hope they are able to correct their computers because it’s not fun to walk into a hotel wanting to get some rest l, just to be turned away and put some place further.I’ll give them credit for actually doing that.l for me.

Besides the door to our room being broken, the room had a foul smell the Keurig coffee maker was not cleaned out it had old water left in it, which lead us to believe the room was not properly cleaned before our visit. This hotel absolutely should mention on the website that they are under construction, It added to the mess and we never would of booked if we knew that was the case. Also the pictures on the web site look NOTHING like the actual hotel. the pool is very small and the area is untidy. We left because we could not stand to spend the night there and found a beautiful clean room at the Hilton garden inn for very close to the same price as the holiday inn. save yourself the money and hassle do not book here.
Jessica Rivers: The TV was bad and it look scary and also the Water was not working well..it did but no hot water.also the pools are dirty and also the out door pool was really (x6) bad because there was green stuff.me and my family got rigged because..on there website site they had all nice picture but when we got there it was nothing like we thought my family call the hotel "base 1" because like I said its creepy and scary.

Susan Whitman: This Hotel is currently under Major Renovation! Though it's not mentioned when booking a room. The Pool is not open. The restaurant is not open. The hallways and elevator are very cold. And the morning I was to check out, housekeeping knocked on my door twice and woke me up. Checkout is 11 they started knocking at 9. And at 10:15, without knocking a man from housekeeping just walked in! Terrible experience here, would not recommend at this time. Maybe after renovations are completed this might be a nice stay, but not until.
