Amber Bushee: 5 years worth of begging to have heat and hot water for my kids in a 8 family building paid in rent, getting evicted for " being a liability " also they will buy appliances like a gas stove and fridge in other units below me, but want me to pay for a $500 fridge I didn't ask for. Rude, will scream at you for trying to explain yourself. Will ignore your calls for weeks.

Laurie Hamm (Laur): Been with them since early '18. Sal(vadore) the owner was present for my showing. They then went above and beyond to make sure the unit was what I needed with some minor accomodations prior to move in. I received the property as promised/advertised in great condition considering it wasn't a new build. Any issues have always been resolved promptly, always at least a response in less than 24 hr.s. and generally the prob is wrapped up in that 24 also. Most other tenants I have encountered have been long term and his staff has also remained the same in my time renting. Longevity of biz relationships is a huge indicator of quality. Just saying.They are by NO means a 'slum lord'.There are deeply routed within the community with many properties, many years of experience, live in the area and the owner is seen at the office.Personal service, not stuffy corporate rentals!

They keep telling me that Gary will call me but he hasn't. This is very unprofessional. They charge a lot of money to do simple work projects, but then they don't want to respond when they are contacted to fix their mistakes. I will change my review once they stop being disrespectful and return my calls or emails.

J MHelems: I live in a small, close community town. Blue Mountain Properties bought my apartment building and raised everybody's rent. Some had rent doubled, some tripled which is now managed through Patriot Proerty Management Group. There are only a few tenants living here and some have been here for over 25yrs, living off of social secirity. Our apartment is a historical building and is old. Needs fixing and is Not up to code! Blue Mountain property flips run down old buildings the company is out of Texas and we will prob never get the chance to speak with the "owner". Patriot property is giving us 30days to comply with the new rent increade demands and for some including myself could be displaced. Two of my neighbors are in their 70s with nowhere to move. They could end up homeless! Patriot could care less about our problems and has no empathy in regards. The board of health has been notified since there is still asbestos and lead paint and black mold inside the building!! Rather than renovate and work with current occupants they just assume kick us all out, raise rent to absurd costs and flip this building. This is our home! Would Not recomend dealing with these two companies ever!! God help us since our landlord isnt.

Catherine Rojas: The rent used to be really cheap but they decided to mark it up $200 within 1 months notice after Covid. We are young working professionals who paid our rent on time and to its complete amount religiously for 5 consecutive years even throughout the pandemic. The owner of these buildings is a slum lord so if you want anything fixed or addressed it will either go unanswered or delayed for several months. You will notice the secretary who collects payments change every 3 months because no one ever really stays.

Dr.Raquel Buenaventura- Villar: After several months of staying in this apt at 15 Park St Loft, I regretted that I came in due to a lot of issues not resolved by the management. A "BAT" came in my unit from nowhere. The scariest experience I have ever had. I could not sleep at nights. There are other issues in the unit, but was never attended. I can say, the place is accessible to my work, but the property management is very poor. I hope they will improve their services.
Steph: DON’T DO IT! DO NOT RENT HERE! Horrific customer service and unacceptable outstanding maintenance requests going on over a year! You’d think this was the projects! Health department had been called multiple times by multiple tenants. Most recently, Had no hot water for 5 days then after 1 week, same issue. No outside OR hallway lights for over a month. Their mailbox is full and you can never get a hold of someone. Vermin, laundry room boy working, separating floors, doors that won’t lock, broken windows, no hot water or water getting shut off guaranteed once a month and worst of all, Receptionist that are trained to reply “we are working on it” or “we will call you back” AND NEVER DO.
Hector: Yeah listen to all these reviews people do not rent from these slam lords i have a 8 month old and i was without hot water a week ago for a whole 7 days with no hot water today i wake up and there is no hot water fixes need to be made to the apartment and they don't fix it but then threaten me about eviction because of no payments so all i can say is with all honesty DO NOT RENT FROM THESE ppl they will make your life living here a horrible experience and this is a total honest review im not just saying this to say it. And to add the no payment i paid these mfs 3.9k then another 1.9k and they still tell me that if i dont pay 950 this month they cant fix whatever is wrong with my apartment and what did they do with the almost 6k i gave them? There is alot more to this just DONT RENT from these SLAM LORDS!!!!
yara felix arroyo: I have made several complaints in the last 10 weeks or so since they have taken over the property on Mill st . I have sent pics of everything . Maintenance was here once . There’s a huge infestation of mice in this property as well as windows leaking , mold and several other issues . I have called the city for help because for the last week the management company has been mute and has not responded to any of my emails but took the time to send me a late rent notice and show new tenants apartments in the building . This is not human living conditions for anyone . The infestation is so bad I’m loosing out in good because they have gotten into it . Pay attention because I know this cannot be legal to just leave people living like this .

Nate Blanca: I've been a tenant for 1 year and 5 months now. For that full year I have made 2 phone calls, typed 2 emails, and sent one letter in writing about my leaking ceiling. Nothing has been done about it and I sit here writing this review while listening to it drip. During the winter months, the plow guy comes 3 days after the snowfall when it's all ice and packed down. No marked parking so the tenants are basically all over the place. These people are absolute slum lords. Review will be removed if anything is done so I guess I might as well have written this in permanent marker

These people don’t care about you these people try to put studios for almost 800 when it’s in a polluted industry zone no views what so ever! They never get back to you at all I remember when he had to call in to leave it took him five months to leave because they kept ignoring him on purpose mind you this was like four years ago. I’m putting this review up to help you individuals make the right choice! Oh one more thing they make so much money and can’t fix the ramp to go into the drive way my car was damaged cause of that!

ashley: STAY AWAY FROM ANY PROPERTIES FROM THIS COMPANY. We moved here a couple days ago, the fridge is broken, the place was disgusting, and we still don’t have a fridge days later. I can’t explain how awful the service is from these people. We only have one key for two people and I bet you nobody is going to call me back because that’s what they do. They do not answer your calls, they don’t call you back, and they really don’t care. If I could be out of this place I would be. If this continues I will be taking further action, I’m not letting them walk all over me. Do yourself a favor and find any property that they don’t own.
Mr Lilpapasmurf: Their management is unprofessional, you can file many complaints and they will do nothing . But once one complaint is made on you they want to take 30 actions . They promise stuff and don't follow thru with it . I never been in a build with such bad management, lack of help . Something brakes they have 1 maintenance man that take about 2months just to fix 1 unite , with 30 different excuses . He shows up when he wants too with a excuse and they keep him working . But they don't hire people that actually have a good referral because they want to say money . The unites are on safe and so are the porches , the trash gets so full you have to put it on the side of the trash bin . They don't enforce their own lease. You file a complain and they push it off .
Melissa Vandeusen: This place is a joke, denied two hard working people that currently pay 1400.00 a month ( living in hotel since April) , they required a deposit of 150.00 money order which was given back in November before Thanksgiving. They denied us and then stated it would take up to 10 days to repay us back. We called and called constantly requested our money back. We picked up the check today. It has been ready since December 4th we called on that date as well. No call backs from this establishment. I truly feel like they hoped that we never wanted our money back so very thankful that this fell through I could not even imagine how they are as landlords when they don't call u back poor customer service

Mel Levin: I moved to the Davenport durning a pandemic having a hard time finding a place but VPmanagement made payments and help with maintenance as if I was their number one priority. Ive been with property management teams before and I can honestly say they are one of the best. I never was waiting to be responded to or had to wait for something to get done on the house. Definitely money well spent. 10 out of 10 would rent from them again.
Kurt Kennedy: They threatened to raise my $900 rent per month to $1050 per month until they heard I was going to find a different place, and then offered me a whole whopping $10 off per month to stay. Not helpful at all with any problems, and they would just tell me it was the previous landlord’s fault/problem.Paid a pet deposit and security deposit, and then got charged $500 for animal hair on all floors of the house, including the basement. We had wood floors and I hired a cleaning service to come clean for good measure, so glad that money was put to good use.The landlords are shady. Monica was the one I was dealing with most of the time. Very unprofessional attitude and unreasonably disrespectful.Will screw you over when they have the chance if your money is involved. They were so bad that I had reported them to HUD. Also, they never seem to be in their office or answer their phones.Would avoid them at all costs if possible.Also, please notice all of their 5 star reviews were posted at the same time. Seems pretty suspicious, doesn’t it?

Angela Vyncke: We got stuck with them after our landlord sold to them without our notice. We were lied to from the get go about a lot of things like the safety of our neighborhood, and that the basment wasn't going to flood. They charged us for things that were already in the house. Then, they raised the rent when we were about to sign for another year. EXPPECT SUPRISE FEES FOR EVERYTHING. They havent been able to rent the identical place next to us, so therefore they keep lowering the price there. When asked to lower ours at all they refused. Every interaction with Monica has been off putting as she is rude and condescending. They blame us for not being able to rent their property that is too small, poorly kept, overpriced and ran by people that are incapable of fixing things. I haven't found away to review or report the actual owners of our property, but if you ever come across a Talcott owned property... RUN.Please save yourselves the hassle.
