Washburn House: what do users think?
Rodolfo Aviles: Washburn house has helped me a lot in my recovery it's one of the best places I've ever been to thanks to them I'm doing my long-term recovery they treat their clients real good and they don't judge they do their job and help us to the fullest thanks to them I'm three months over today and working on a long time recovery
Andre Lamoureux: People who care about people, and help others to restore their lives, and help them learn to care for and help others and so on, is how we will see the world become a better place, one person at a time. Washburn, and by extension those associated with Washburn are helping me to be the change that I want to see in the world. I owe my life to programs like Washburn.
Josh Comeau: If I had to describe my time at Washburn it was amazing and the staff and everyone that was there what courtioua and polite
Stephanie Faust: This place changed my life. The recovery that you can find here at Washburn is full of unity, truth, faith and hope. The staff will go above and beyond for you and make you feel like you are important, that your life matters and no matter what you've done or who you were in the past, you have a fighting chance, and you deserve it. I'm so grateful for all the staff at Washburn and the services they offer, they continue to make a difference in my life to this day. Thank you for taking the time read my review, I genuinely mean everything I wrote.

Anthony Scopa-Cavanagh: Washburn house is saving my life. They are giving me a chance to live sober. The opportunity that I have been giving to find my place in life is a gift that I am truly grateful for. And that guy Justin is 😜 on a mission from God to help addicts all over. I appreciate all the help he has given me and will In my power do what I can to spread that love back to addicts as well. 💪🏽💯Thank you Justin and Washburn

I enjoyed the Washburn Wednesday Nights Alumni meetings from 1st night I went and have been going every week since. Good vibes, good energy, and great people to be around. Speakers really give me hope and inspiration. I get this positive energy from them that I know is real, and that I want to experience myself!

Lake Avenue Recovery Addiction Treatment Centers: what do users think?
Jacqueline Long: This program has saved my life. After care is so important on your road to recovery, I would not go anywhere else, your answers are through the door at Lake Ave Recovery. The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable..I can't say enough about them. I highly suggest this program if you are struggling and even if you are not.
The Forward P: 2 face
John L Hunt: Incredible staff, knowledgeable in many different areas of treatment, very personable, compassionate, understanding and very Interactive program. Helped me in so many ways. XOXO...
Jessica Wasgatt: Great experience, knowledgeable staff, and beautiful facilities!!! Best place around!
Bill Siopes: I highly recommend Lake Ave Recovery. The staff is welcoming, compassionate and efficient. The level of professionalism, respect and program offerings geared to the individual is second to none.
Anthony Mansi: Amazing staff, will go above and beyond, will recommend always.
Joe Cooney: Great program, staff is amazing!
Emily Trout: Such an amazing experience with so many great humans. I feel like this program is SO different from others and I leave there each day feeling so positive.
Raymond Lauzier: This place is amazing, at first I was apprehensive and scared, never really tried recovery and or getting and staying sober before. I learned alot about addiction, alcoholism, treatment, mind and body therapy. The staff is great, very friendly, knowledgeable and really care about each and every client that comes through thier doors. They give you the ability to humble yourself and accept help, knowledge, therapy, and compassion, they supply all the tools needed to realize living sober is achievable if you just believe and work at it and be honest an open. They keep you busy 6 days a week learning to do life without the addiction holding you back. It is a clean, safe, fun place to recover, a place I shall never forget, thank you all for your help and support through my 4 month journey together, best wishes and god bless you all.
Shawn Monks: Nothing but glowing reviews for LAR. The staff meets clients where they are at. It's a warm, welcoming environment conducive to recovery. The best way to describe it is that the place has a "non-profit" feel. Everything I saw was done in the best interest of clients. That's not always the case in the recovery field.Very refreshing! Highly recommend!
Kelly Booth: Everyone is supper supportive and non judgmental! They also have evening classes for when you work during the day. They do fun activities like kayaking in the gym
James Gattoni: Finest substance abuse rehab I've been too.
Emily Sherber: While it is ALWAYS up to the individual to do the work to get and stay clean and sober, Lake Ave's staff and environment are incredible and truly provides the opportunities to learn to live a new life free of drugs, alcohol, gambling, pornography, etc.
Robert Hutchins: Lake Avenue was the aftercare that saved my life. The importance of aftercare is vital to success in recovery. Still remember my first day when I cried and stomped my feet wanting to go home after 31 days inpatient. Gave the program a chance and made lifelong connections. Uprooted myself and planted near the Lake Ave facility for long term success. The personal relationships formed, most of these folks are well educated and well traveled in the addiction space themselves. They don't treat you as a patient or client. They treat you as a friend they want to see succeed who's battled the front lines with you. Lake Ave pushed me to be the man I am today, almost 20 months clean and sober. Still keep in touch and attend the alumni groups. It was the program I needed that never thought existed.
James Burke: I would like to Apologize for my post earlier i was upset because something came up missing And it wasn't really important my recovery is. so I apologize to lake view and the people that run it
William Benoit: I happen to work there as a driver. If it has to do with recovery this is the perfect place. Gina Abbott and staff are on their game and are a top notch team of recovery specialist. Kudos to you Lake ave recovery!!!
Casey Dore: I wouldn’t of been able to get sober and stay sober without lake ave
Melissa Lourens: Absolutely an Amazing place to go for anybody suffering from alcoholism or addiction I have attended Lake Ave when they first opened and am about 2+ years clean and sober and couldn’t give you anything else other than a unbelievable place to go to create a better life than what you are living now!!!💕💕
Julie Scricco: Wonderful place that truly helps support people in recovery. The staff is amazing and the program really is set up for people to succeed. Would recommend to anyone suffering from the disease of addiction!
Darien Brousseau: Great place the staff is assume, they really care about our recovery.Highly recommended it to anyone struggling with substance abuse.
Kris Fitch: Lake Ave has been instrumental in my husbands recovery. They are skills based and have taught him the skills that he has never had before. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with addiction issues. The counselors there are outstanding, and have helped him and me through many phases of his recovery!

Ed Belliveau: Absolutely a life changing experience. I would recommend the Haven New England to anyone struggling with addiction. Great staff and facilities!
Ace Lermond: Kind, caring staff. Clean facility. Great job of care while there and setting up aftercare.
David Shaw: The haven is a top notch facility very clean and professional staff. The staff at Haven helped me through a very hard time in my life. They mad me feel like I made the right choice from day one. When I got there I was what I hope was the lowest point in my life and didn't know where to turn. They took me and laid down a solid foundation for recovery.Thank you to all the staffFide et fortitudine (Faith and Courage)
David Deluise: I can’t give the place five, stars only because that is a perfect score, and as we all know, we all make mistakes! 95% of the staff was fantastic! The place was clean, the food was fantastic, majority of the staff tolerated my miserableness! I like everyone there! There were two staff members there that needed a little bit more training on their craft, and their bedside manner. The case managers were very tolerable to my phone usage. They gave me extra time when I needed it! Overall, the stay was fantastic, I would definitely visit it again, if I relapse… if you have any questions, please call me! 😉👍
You Gotta Jump In To Swim: This place is amazing. The staff are all extremely caring and knowledgeable. It’s a very comfortable and safe space to start to get better, physically and mentally, as you start your journey into a life in Recovery.I’m extremely grateful for my time spent there.
Zac Susskind: lovely staff, wonderful food, phenomenal ice cream, helpful and interesting programs
Scott Eastwood: The Haven was a comfortable and safe place to heal up, and get a new life started. I can't recommend it enough!
Ronald Seignious: The Haven New England was the best thing that ever happened to me, the staff was amazing, my peers were amazing, the food was amazing. It was a very clean & comfortable place to be in to receive the treatment that i needed. I would highly recommend to anyone who's ready to receive help.
David Walshe: Loving, compassionate, caring. great place to begin your recovery. staff are amazing and it's just an added bonus that the food is spectacular! Thank you Haven detox.
Ryan Neary: The Haven has been the best for me throughout my recovery. The staff is the best. They make you feel comfortable and it shows they really care about you. I learned a lot about myself while I was there.
Phill Gelinas: Knowledgeable staff with first hand experience. Very regimented schedule with great speakers and classes, which was exactly what I needed. Hard to rate a recovery place, but I can say this place did the job, I'm 10 months sober since going there and they led me down all the right paths
Deemoneycash Let’s debate: THIS WILL SAVE YOUR LIFE , the staff is AMAZING Sarah,Jim,Ryan,Shawn,Jesse and Brian the chefs all litterally saved my life this is the only rehab that’s ever worked for me they set me up with amazing after care when I left and I am still sober 1 year after leaving there! 5 star extremely clean, amazing food, amazing beds with your own personal tv with Bluetooth headphones. This place is a godsend DO NOT HESITATE and save your life with this place
Annemarie costella: My son went to Haven last year.He had all good things to say about this place.they also helped him transition to a 30 day facility out by the cape.
Chef Rena Martelle: Please read if considering this detox for yourself or someone you love! I can promise you, after much experiences with other detoxes in MA, there is nothing quite like this establishment. They offer transit that is always conducted by professionals that are understanding and equipt to provide a safe and comfortable experience. When you arrive you will be greated by a polite and caring team of nurses that immediately will cater to your medical and emotional needs. The rooms are luxurious, with clean and comfortable beds, telivisions, and beautiful bathrooms for each individual. The staff of clinicians, therapists and casemanagers are all experienced people that show unconditional care and emotional support. I have NEVER met people that go to such lengths to ensure a positive and impactful stay. I have unfortunately been through the single most difficult year of my life and had hit rock bottoms that I feared being judged or ridiculed for by others, and suffered health consequences I never knew I would obtain at a young age due to a severe alcohol dependency. I had seeked treatment so many times I couldn't keep count. The people that staff this detox spared no expense and went to incredible lengths to pull me out of my well and keep me engaged and productive in recovery. They offer art therapy, music therapy, group and individual therapy, there are so many amenities to keep yourself busy and building a community with other clients that can truly last a lifetime. I was so blown away by the care I received, and created attachments to the clinicians present that I still hold dear outside of my time there. They also set up a secure and reasonable aftercare plan, that caters to the individual and never holds expectations or disturb your home life or responsibilities. I cannot exaggerate enough the impact this place has had on my life. It was so much more than professional care, it had a spiritual and emotional impact that completely altered the course of my addiction. Through ups and downs, and any struggle I face, I still can't say I have ever been as close to sober happiness as I am currently, even in the face of incredible consequences and struggles. These people and the community they can offer you is no less than life changing. Please, if you or a loved one are suffering with this epidemic of addiction, trust this establishment and all it has to offer with your life. If you can't trust yourself, you can trust them. They will give everything in their power to help you. "We cant call people without wings angels, so we call them friends." And you will leave this place with a lot more of them. Best of luck.
Keith Mazzeo: I went there January of this year after a horrible relapse right after stating sober thru Christmas and New Year's eve .... After being in a large short term inpatient rehab i was very surprised how comforting it was here . They didnt push hard and fast the staff was so nice . Being from pa could have done without daily haddock for food but the meals were great too ... Although not forced by day 3 in my sweat i did feel like joining convos and even was guided on how to paint a bird on a branch and had alot of fun doing so . I know if i had to go back I definitely would not fight my family again .Thank you staff especially the nurses in detox
James Hunter: I spent time there and they helped me get to a PHP program. I am now 4 months into my journey and am so grateful for the support and care I got at the Haven. They care and support and are so helpful.
Matty J: A very nice, quiet, comfortable place to start your journey in recovery. Very kind, and compassionate counslers, case managers nurses and all staff. They are there for you when you need them. Excellent breakfast lunch and dinner made on site by wonderful chefs. Comfortable beds with tvs in each room. I highly reccomend The Haven Detox New England for anyone who wants to win the first battle in their war against addiction.
Bernice Occhipinti: Owner of this facility is a crook Him and his father own multiple rehabs pharmacies and labs, Please do your research it's so money motivated it's a disgrace Just look into Gilead lawsuit in Florida to see what this owner is all about Kirill and Mickail vesselov They are a disgrace.
Brett Courville: I recently stayed here for two weeks of detox. I was not in a good state of mind when I first got there because I was withdrawing and hated everybody and everything and yet still the staff and nurses were nothing but nice to me!! The food was amazing like you ordered something from a restaurant mainly because they have great chefs! Once I started feeling better after a couple days I absolutely loved this place and by the end I honestly did not want to leave!! I will say it again, I can't stress how good the meetings were for me and how amazing the nurses and staff are. You can be the rudest person ever and they will be nothing but accommodating and friendly to you! So in conclusion I would strongly recommend this amazing place if you are ready to get clean and plan for your future without drugs being a part of it!
Brittany Beck: The staff and my therapist were amazing. I met so many great people in detox, there aftercare team was very helpful and supportive and helped me on a daily basis. If I ever needed to go back to detox I would Definitely recommend The Haven NE

AdCare Hospital: what do users think?
Peter M. Kruslak: My experience was fabulous. The staff was attentive to my needs from beginning to end. The above bed flexible moving TV was great. The groups I attended I felt were very informative and well presented by the case management staff. The food wasn't 5 star but it wasn't bad in my opinion. And I have the comfort of knowing that if needed I could return with no judgement.I would encourage going to phase II a real life saver in helping w thought to action issues.
Kerri Rooke: Website says they have in-patient rehab, but the Worcester one does not, apparently only detox, very misleading.
Filipe Cabral: Highly recommend!!!!!
Abby Cabral: Excellent treatment facility with exceptional staff. I recommend this facility to anyone who is struggling with drugs and alcohol
Stephen Hayward: Compassionate care
Ann Bo: The staff here is so kind and have really changed my out look on what is important in my life
Maria Fullam: AdCare is a wonderful facility with a caring staff.
Ryan Brown: An amazing place to help your treatment and recovery along. Staff is attentive and considerate. Professional and invested in the health and future of the patients.
Dean St. Laurent: If you want clinicians that truly care this is the place to go.
Kevin Obrien: I had good experiences here a few years before. The experience now is very different. The Adcare Outpatient centers, where I first was introduced to Adcare(the location in Boston, first 14 Beacon Street and the 50 Congress Street) are now all closed. The qualified nurses and professionals are jumping ship. They have already shut down there rehab unit because they have no staff. Another patient threatened me with physical violence and Adcare didn't kick him out because they simply cant afford to lose a money making patient.
James Kelley: I have worked at Adcare hospital for 15 months working in placement with my colleagues is a pleasure also working with Andrea Nissa and Lilly is a pleasure.
John Carpenter: Staff are great - food sucks!!!!
Diamond Pena: Great experience , most staff are very caring & understandable ! Had Linda as counselor while in the program and she was amazing and gentle and easy to vent to . Also had Kristi Falamino as a placement worker she was amazing and worked hard with me to get me placed at a halfway house before I left and all plans worked out great 👍🏼
Tabor Byron: The councilor is very knowledgeable and the facility is warm and inviting. They help me as much as they are able.
Michael J. Gayda: Been to adcare more than once , they made it comfortable to know it’s always a safe place to come back to and they always give me the care and knowledge I need to succeed when I leave here !
Luis P.: Life changing.Appreciate all the help this agency provides.
Julia Feeney: I do the IOP with Mike and it’s super interesting and super helpful!
Miriam Valentin: I love this place. So helpful and I couldn't imagine life with out it
Jeremy: Excellent counselors, nurses, CNAs, doctors, and other staff. Food was decent, room accommodations were generally one to four beds per room, with the one bed rooms usually reserved for sick or elderly clients. Can't say enough about how good the counselors are and how willing they are to help you out. Group meeting throughout the day. Helpful stuff.
Kim Soto: Adcare provides exceptional outpatient services for when you’re serious about getting clean.
Angela Tul: I get my therapy here. My therapist is always late to the appointment if she shows at all. I called to figure out why.. I got an excuse that the office is short staffed and Im over looked on the schedule and that's why they didn't call me.. if I'm over looked and a constant inconsistencies with the appointments then I'm just not that important to them. I work in health care and yes the world is short staffed but that's no excuse to over look a client .I would never skip or ignore a client because we are short staffed. I make my client feel just as important then the next person

CleanSlate Outpatient Addiction Medicine: what do users think?
Leeanne Richter: To make patients wait for the medication they need when they wake up or they could be sick or even relapse is cruel need a better system in place to protect the people that are doing everything they can to better their life this is such a horrible thing to do to them especially when they have children to take care of !!!!
Michael Panarelli: My experience was great like always.. Never had a problem with clean slate.
Emily Murphy: Was a long time client but today was a nightmare! The front staff were rude and insensitive and even though i called letting them know i was going to be late. I got there within 10 minutes but receptionist made me wait outside the window for 3 minutes thus making me even later. When i asked what i was to do and when i could reschedule and was told oh we are not seeing you this week, next week( a full week from my appointment) and they didn't take anything i said seriously. So i had all of my social workers call and they were given the run around or hung up on!.... Chl and hoap are a much better clinic then cleanslate and all of the unfeeling and uncaring providers and his staff there.
Robert Kirby: Totally commented on the wrong thing and have no idea about this place or how to delete my comment. Sleep going strong people!
nick: Way better than blue hills recovery
Jeremey smelltoast: Critical:Communication,ProfessionalismOnly for telephone help we hen my local is closed . Shavani was less than nice .
dinis avila: Very friendly and helpful service
James Demarco: Place going to hell been with them 5 years. 2022 PCA think there the Police now rather than a provider miss the old staff I’m currently looking for a new provider
Tara Ann: They are a great facility, great staff.. I'm in and put of my appointments in under an hour every time...they have improved my quality of life greatly..
Yoly Almodovar: Don't go HERE...EXPENSIVE FOR NOTHING..I TOOK MY DAUGHTER HERE CAUSE HER DOCTOR RECOMMENDED IT FOR US. SHE TOLD US HOW GREAT THE PROGRAM IS AND CAN HELP IN SO MANY WAY..SHE DID THE PROGRAM FOR 10 BUSINESS DAYS ONLY TO BE TOLD SHE NEEDED A PERSONAL THERAPY.10 DAYS SHE DREW PICTURES.. WATCHED MY LITTLE PONY AND TALKED IN A CIRCLE BUT COULDNT MENTION THE MAIN REASON SHE WAS THERE..AND ON TOP OF ALL THIS NOBODY EVER MENTIONED THERE $260 BILL FOR EVERY DAY SHE WENT.AND DID I MENTIONED MY KID IS 15 WATCHING MY LITTLE PONY.WASTE of TIME THIS PLACE ITS a joke
Sherri Joncas: There is no group therapy services. AUD clearly is not their money maker so the staff literally " puts up" with you.
Mike Leger: I love this place. If you're serious about the program cleanslate is great. They're always listening and there for your needs. Been w them over a year. Love cleanslate.!!
Mike LaCroix: My fiancée has gone here over a year so I decided to go with her and since the day I got there I have had nothing but bad they don’t answer any calls or return a single call they are always late for every appointment script had never been on time and they threw my fiancée out and they didn’t care about any of what she had to say they do not have any idea how to deal with crisis or this pandemic they have their heads up their butts and need to go back to training to learn how to do their jobs or get a whole new staff cuz this staff is unreliable and terrible
Steve Pupkar: In the beginning is was okay. But when I left without making my 3rd appointment, I tried calling back. Phone busy 24/7. I left 4 VMs and a total of 8 calls over 3 days to try and schedule my next appointment as I had issues with side effects from a medication. Nothing. No call was ever returned. Was never checked on to see if I was alright in the past 4 weeks since i last tried to call. I said **** it, ill do this on my own.You don't want people to relapse? Call them back or answer the phone...absolutely horrible. They didn't care about me. I was just another person's insurance to bill. Just another number at this place
Olivia Maher: Recently switched from a different clinic. The grass isn't always greener, to be honest. This place is DIRTY DIRTY, especially in the current climate when hygiene should be a top priority. No soap or paper towels in the bathroom. No hand sanitizer in the waiting room. It is also IMPOSSIBLE to speak with anyone on the phone. I've now been on hold for 55 minutes in trying to reschedule an appointment that THEY CANCELLED! Stay away. Island Counseling or Experience Wellness aren't perfect but are better than this.
Chi Francis-Gignilliat: Very friendly staff no judgement. However getting an appointment forgotten many times is unfortunately my only complaint. I had to call and call several times all day to make an appointment and get my script in a timely manner once they sign and send its pretty quick.
Chelsea Mock: I had a couple issues this past month but things seem to be back on track. I have recommended people to go here and supported the medical practice. Phone wait was brutal today but I was able to see my regular providers (not a complete stranger who knows nothing about me) so that was a plus. I just hope they focus on the patients they have and not pile on too many people, and things continue to get erratic .They should not be taking new patients and continue to focus on the patients they have so things don't get complicated.
donna rossetti: I am PCA for a patient who goes to Clean Slate. They never phoned in his prescription and he went for 2 days with no Suboxone. He is in a wheelchair, suffers from renal failure, congestive heart failure, just to name a few of his maladies. Finally after calling the answering service, I called and he called two more times they called in his prescription. I almost had to bring him into the emergency room. He was distraught, crying, and having withdrawal .I wouldn't treat an animal this way. I pray this won't happen again to him, but if it does I will be filing a complaint with the BSAS. I would prefer to give them no stars.
victoria meredith: This place is an absolute gross excuse of a substance abuse treatment place. I am not a patient but was on another clinic for 2 years. When I had missed an appointment or showed up late my doctors ran around Friday nights weekends anything just to make sure I wasnt going to be sick! (Chelsea MGH) At cleanslate if the patient is 10 mins late they refuse to not only see the patient but refuse to provide the patient with a bridge script for the following day. Sitting in the waiting room I have watched them turn away two patients who were in tears begging to see a doctor, which there is no doctor on site LOL. What happens when these people overdose accidentally because they are sick and have no choice but to find a way to be able to go to work! please if you are looking for maintenance do yourself a favor and go to any other clinic anywhere but here!
Justin Cameron: Only in business to squeeze every penny out of the addicts insurance and keep the addict coming as often as possible. They have an awesome staff, but they are a drug pusher in the end. They milk insurance for every penny they can. Whether it be weekly visits, biweekly visits (for a number of cooked up reasons to keep you from going every 30 days... They have been fined in the hundreds of thousands over their offenses), or the randoms they give patients that have never gave dirty urine and are examples for the others at the program. This program has a number of waiting areas that are just theaters of drug stories weekly and drug deals daily. I would not recommend clean slate. The people at the desk, the lab, and many of the counslers are great... The program is terrible. They push people closer to relapse, other than with helping their sobriety.Companies and clinics like cleanslate are one of the major problems with the America healthcare system. They abuse our insurance system, and are a continuing a practice that is detrimental to the addicts and the system. The staff does pick on patients and makes light of situations, by putting them on speaker to laugh about their situation, and more. Its not a healthy setting for a recovering addict. If you're use to bring treated like a scumbag and looked down to... Go here.
Amanda Kincaid: After what I dealt with today .. I am definitely not a fan of cleanslate at the moment . I have been going here for over a year .. and my prescription was switched to the films , because of my insurance. So last week I requested for a prior authorization. It was approved thankfully because personally in my opinion, the films don’t help me . They make me feel sick and I just don’t feel right with them . When I asked the woman I spoke with on the phone last week to clarify that my prescription said it was for the tabs not the films , she said yes that my prescription clearly stated it was for the tabs .that they did change it . My pharmacy told me last Thursday I wouldn’t be able to pick up the rest of my prescription until Monday February 5th.(yesterday ) my father went to pick up my prescription yesterday morning around 8:45 , he then called me to inform me that the pharmacy gave the films again . I told him to give them back to the pharmacist right away and I would call cleanslate to figure this out . After being put on hold the woman explained that several things needed to be done that’s why I was on hold for so long , but everything was Allset and that my script would be ready in the afternoon and to call ANYTIME during the day to check the status on my script .. she said the provider needed to sign off on it though . Which I knew right then it would be an all day affair it always is. 1pm came around and I still hadn’t heard from anyone , mind you I am prescribed 1 1/2 a day and I only had a half of my suboxone in the morning at like 6 am . I was kinda panicking wondering what was going on.. I called and called to check on the “status” of my prescription like I was told to do. I was told “call anytime during the day” . I kept getting sent to a voicemail . I left a voicemail and nothing . Finally 4:30 comes around and after calling a million times, someone finally picked up. All that waiting and all that time I spent trying to get ahold of someone , just to hear that the provider still didn’t sign off on my prescription. I was so frustrated. At 6:30pm I called the pharmacy to see if my script was sent in, the pharmacist told me it wasn’t and that their computers were down and to call my doctors office right away to make sure they will send the script by the end of the day, because if not it would be delayed. Now, at this point I’m livid because since 8:45 am yesterday I was dealing with this. And now it’s almost 7pm and the pharmacy closes at 9. So I proceeded to call cleanslate. No answer. Kept sending me to the voicemail . Over and over again and again. I left yet another voicemail. Nothing . I called and it kept saying “we are currently assisting someone right now please call back or stay on hold until someone is available to speak to you” then it went to the voicemail. I called until 8pm and then they said “our office is currently closed call back during our normal business hours” I wanted to scream because I had called all freaking day during “normal business hours” and not once did anyone answer my calls . Nor did they return my voicemails. Finally at 8:45pm I got the text from the pharmacy that my script was ready to be picked up. So since 8:45 am to 8:45pm I dealt with this . Something that should have been a top priority because I was supposed to have already received my prescription. If cleanslate didn’t mess up my prescription in the first place and if they sent the correct one to the pharmacy to begin with , none of this bs I dealt with yesterday would have happened. They are terrible at answering calls , and terrible at returning your calls. Especially when I’m told to call back any time during the day , and I do so, and no one can be bothered to answer the phones . My recovery is so important to me. I have a year and 7 months clean. No relapses. I pass all my drug tests. I pass all my “randoms” I never miss my appointments. I do so good with my recovery. So when something like this happens , and you feel like they are legit ignoring your calls .. it’s not right nor is it fair . Very disappointed ..

Blue Hills Recovery: what do users think?
Tracy McPeak: My experience here has been one lie after another. I was told I would be here for seven days for mental health. When I get here, they go over all the paperwork so fast, never giving you the chance to read everything. I am now stuck here for 30 weekdays, because weekends don't count. If you try to AMA, they retain your belongings for 72 hours. You are also responsible for your airfare home. I would recommend going to your local hospital before coming here. I failed to mention there is no psychiatrist on staff. So if you need a medication change, a PCP is the only medical professional on staff. You see your therapist once a week. Since housing is free, this is considered an outpatient facility, they do not need to get prior authorization from your insurance company. Which means they can get by with being out of network with your insurance and not tell you.
Alexander Deayala: I went to Blue hills for drug treatment and basically received very little. The way it works you have individuals who are there for drug abiuse as there primary diagnosis and others for mental health as there primary diagnosis. This all basically means your treatment is supposed to be tailored based on this primary diagnosis hence you will have what’s called a substance abuse track and a mental health track. Well when I was there I was on the substance abuse track along with about 4or 5 others but there was about double or triple that amount on the mental health track and so us substance abuse people were basically lumped in with the mental health track and barely given substance abuse treatment at all even though that was our primary diagnosis and the reason we came to blue hills. When I asked about this I was basically told “Well we don’t have enough staff to run the substance abuse track also. This was totally unacceptable these people are charging our insurance companies thousands of dollars a day and basically ignoring the very reason we came in the first place. They are just very unprofessional they give you a feeling that all they care about is charging your insurance company exorbitant amounts for the substandard treatment they provide. Please understand this review is specifically for Blue Hills recovery at 474 Grove street in Worcester Massachusetts Only and , I write this because I don’t want anyone who’s trying to stop using drugs to end up going and basically receiving little to no treatment because when I was there if your primary diagnosis was drug abuse you were an afterthought and lumped into the same groups with mental health receiving hardly any treatment for your drug addiction. Thank you for your time God Bless.
Carly Clifford: Definitely one of the best places you can go for help, the staff is super understanding and supportive of everyone there. Everyone is so welcoming and kind here. I would recommend this place to everyone!!
Daniel Holtz: If you’re not sure what to expect, it’s group therapy with caring facilitators and one on one counseling with a therapist.Personally my mental health has massively improved since coming here. In 8 weeks I went from hating myself and being suicidal to loving myself and genuinely loving life.Amazing - kind staff, excellent groups and incredibly helpful environment.
Teagan Jolly: Excellent level of care. The staff is kind and caring and I received the help I needed to further my journey towards recovery and good health.
Richard Vaughan: During my stay here housing was in transition so alittle rocky. But definitely looking better and better each day. Staff at clinic wonderful also staff at housing excellent plus outside trips are very fun on weekends.
Steve Scherbarth: I just want to say that the staff at Blue Hills was and is truly fantastic. They are beyond reproach as far as always having the residents best interests in mind. I came here to learn recovery tools, coping skills, and resiliency. Blue Hills has delivered on all three. The rest is up to me through my Higher Power. Thank you very much, Steve Scherbarth grateful recovering alcoholic.
Anna Smith: My experience at Blue Hills recovery was exceptional. Coming into Blue Hills I was not doing well, but the community uplifted me and with proper care from Nurse Practitioners, Group facilitators, and Case Managers I was able to make great progress with my mental health. Specifically group facilitator Kelly was amazing and case manager Montana was also great. I highly recommend Blue hills, I was able to become a better version of myself in just 3 months time.
Kelly Devillers: Not enough words to describe the good about Blue Hills. Whether it is addiction, mental health, or both that you struggle with- the entire team there is knowledgeable friendly caring and professional
Haley Rolfe: Loved blue hills. Would recommend to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health. Staff is very friendly and they help you with whatever you need!
Amanda Hernandez: My experience at blue hills recovery was extremely positive and had helped significantly in my growth, healing and recovery. The staff was extremely compassionate, attentive and helpful throughout my stay from residential to discharge. I am very thankful to have been a part of the program and will carry what I’ve learned with me as I continue on my journey in recovery.
Matt S: Blue Hills was monumental in helping me navigate through my mental illness and substance abuse struggles, and provided me the tools and support I needed to overcome my challenges to lead a fulfilled, productive life. Everyone on staff is highly-trained, compassionate and supportive to help achieve your wellness goals. You do NOT have to face your recovery alone, the team at Blue Hills can be your guiding light to a better life. If you are considering treatment for substance abuse OR mental health, I strongly encourage you to contact Blue Hills and get the treatment you deserve.
GMoney: My experience at blue hills have gone really well I believe that they have potential to be an amazing treatment center but still a lot of work to do. The staff are hard working amazing people that really understand stand what it’s like to be an addict and really care for you, but obviously there are some things they need too work on but it’s still a growing business so I understand and I highly recommend going here if you are serious on getting real help and not just a vacation.
Shakes McCracken: My life became unmanageable due to both mental health & substance abuse. Blue Hills accepted me as a patient. It's staff was able to meet me where my life was at. They provided me with treatment. They helped me to meet them where they were at as healthy & productive people.
Brian Wilbert: Blue Hills is great! The staff are all really nice and accommodating. Montana is fantastic.
Heather Christian: As a family member of patient. This place is awful!!“Therapist” if you will have no actual degrees or accreditation. They have no clue how to do their jobs and honestly withought going any further. Far worse. The housing is just a co-I’d apartment. Ran by adolescent kids or ppl that don’t care. This isn’t at All somewhere you want to send your loved ones. Don’t fall for their lies. This place should be shut down. After the experience I’ve had with my loved one there. And so many ppls stories I’ve reached out to about their experiences. I’m ashamed this place has made it as long as they have.Also. Most of these reviews are made by ppl that work there. So sad!!
Neil: Blue Hills Recovery is different than other facilities. Great for mental health as well. Call insurance before going as they cover a percentage. Montana is a great case manager and is very organized.
Big Crispy: Rehabilitation is never fun. I received all the help and tools I needed to take control of my life. Great staff I would recommend Bluehills Recovery to anyone serious wants help with there mental health or behavioral issues
Cody Smith: Great staff with decent response times considering the volume of patients
marcus oneill: This place literally saved my life and gave me the tools I need to use in my everyday life. If you're dealing with substance abuse or mental health issues this is the place to be. Don't hesitate to call everyone is here to help and care about what they do.
Ray Data: This place is amazing!!! The staff are all really nice and accommodating. Montana is fantastic. I would just make sure you CALL YOUR INSURANCE before coming in. A lot of insurances will cover only a percentage and I didn’t realize that until after I was there, the admissions team I think forgot to communicate that to me. This being said even though it was expensive I’ve learned a lot from here and I don’t regret it.
