Lutheran Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center: what do users think?
Kathy Macintyre: The food is always cold! The call lights are ignored!A 95 year old woman in my room asked for her meds because of acid food. Half hour later still waiting. This place is awful!!!
Crystal: The worst place to send someone you love!
Rand Alfaris: Dear people (May 21, 2018)After my review yesterday, I received a call from the management requesting a meeting with me to address the points that have been risen in my review. When I posted my review, I had no idea that there would a response, but I was surprised how fast they responded, and how fast they found solutions. I've found the management was very appreciative to what I've said and they were trying their best to attend to the negative issues. They assured me that a certain action has already been taken regarding the hygiene point. Regarding mother's situation, which was my main concern, things were resolved in the way that is better then what I was hoping for. I'm pleased I've chosen this center for mother's rehabilitation period.Dear people (May 20, 2018)I'm in this center, accompanying my mother for 6 days now, therefore my review's based on my subjective observation as a gust not as a patient. Here's what I've noticed:Points of strength:1. Every one is working in this center is very kind and understanding. Except maybe one odd case that I've noticed, with which was dealt properly.2. The meals are made and delivered to one's diet. I've given them mother's food program and they followed it to the letter.3. The physical therapists and the occupational therapists are very good and they will stick to the exact timings if you ask them to follow one.4. A personal from the management is checking on the residents one by one to make sure they are comfortable and have what they need.Points of weakness:1. The phamesy is irresponsible: apparently there is something missing the chain of orders. Every thing is in the charts, but apparently no one reads them before they bring the medication. Mother is under going cancer treatment and she needs to take her medication (chemo and hormone pills) every day at 8 am sharp. Until now no one got perfectly right, sometimes too late and sometimes missing a pill. And every day I have to remind them. Today morning I remind them again, the nurse told me, "see, I don't even know that!" I said, it's in the chart! The chart itself is still manually written! It amazed me in the 21 century, they still do manual charts! Also there is no schedule for the pain killers. Or to be more specific, there is a schedule but I have to remind them every time. Sometimes mother is in pain and they are not sure what they should give her and at what dose they should give her. Until I asked them please tell me what the system of giving those pain killers is.2. The center is way under staff on weekends-especially at night: I don't understand, are the bowel movements of human been take time off at weekends? Are the needs of these seniors and patients any less on weekends? Why is the center is under staff on weekends. Two assistants only for the entire floor. And I've noticed that it takes even a longer time for an assistant to come for the patients and seniors who are buzzing for help.3. Can't find hot water in the night! When I ask for it, they microwave cup of water. Microwaving water is very dangerous for a cancer patient.4. The hygiene should be at maximum level. Which unfortunately it isn't. When they empty the bed pan for some patients, they washed it in the same hand/face washer sink without scrubbing it after. There should be a proper place for washing the bed pans or they should scrub the sink after each time they do that. I couldn't use the sink or let mother use it after they did so with mom's roommate. I complained to them to clean it.5. There are a lot of noise at night and minimum privacy and very much inconvenience with lights arrangements because the rooms are shared. If the roommate can't sleep at the sleeping hours or wants to hear loud tv because of the hearing impairment while the other is asleep, what would happen here! You can imaging the situation, right? What would it take if they divided the rooms not with just a curtain but with wooden wall? Mother couldn't sleep a whole night straight because of the noise and nurses coming and going for her roommate.
Lee Leonard: Great care, my mother in law spent a few years there and was recently under Hospice care which was top notch. She passed today God live her.

Christopher House: what do users think?
Jennifer Dinsmore: My mom was recently sent there for a 4 week rehab stay. She only received 2 showers in the 4 week period AFTER I filed a grievance against them. She also was not able to regularly brush her teeth - I had to ask if she could brush her teeth before bed. These are basic human hygiene needs! Beware if your loved one is staying there!
Briana Fisher: Great facility! My gram was there for 5 months and all the staff went above and beyond. I highly recommend.
Halina Grabowski: The staff at this facility are incompetent, neglectful, and uncaring people. No respect for their patients, or their families.
spooked mgooked: absolutely awful care.
Elizabeth Vecchione: Reviews must be fake. Would give this facility zero stars if I could. Horrible employees that give even more horrible care. I can’t stress this enough DO NOT BRING YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!!!!!
Kori Hopkinson: the staff is not good to their residents do not send your loved ones here. why are so many of the good reviews written by interns? shouldnt it be against policies for interns and employees to write reviews?
Dylan Bulger: Your workers don’t know how to take care of people and they just sit on there phones and they didn’t even know a person died until someone said something shame on them
Thiara Dealmeida: Did my clinical hours at this facility this place have amazing staff and the residents are super taking cared of truly a loving place.
Rithina Matunga: Such a nice place, good staff and as a intern there I love it. There is always something exciting and new to work with.
Juliana Fernandez: I’m currently doing an internship there and it is a great facility. The staff is very kind and if I ask for help, they are there to assist me.
Hiba Nazzal: Perfect home for the elderly . Workers there treat the residents with a lot of respect and care for them a lot. I had a great time there for my internship.
Sedra Salman: I had a great time there during my internship. It was a great first experience and the staff were very understanding and helpful.
Farzane: This place to take care of our loved ones, very good place. very clean and with nice nurses and heart worker CNA Very compassionate and kind.Thank you for all of you.🙏
Carrie MacLeod: My mother went here for rehab once & it was a good experience for the most part. However, I recently tried to get her into their Long term living. The woman in charge of deciding if they will take you and if you will be eligible for Masshealth or not did NOT know how to read a bank statement. She couldn't figure out the difference between withdrawals & deposits & therefore said that they should not accept my mom. She then proceeded to accidentally leave a message on my voicemail that was meant for admissions saying rude, & condescending things about me & saying that she knows they need to fill beds but she didn't feel comfortable with it. The next day my mom got approved for Masshealth & CH said they would take her but had no beds available, she is now at Life Care Center in Auburn which has been great. Im still waiting for a response from CH
Johnny Annan: I volunteer at Christopher House with my school Worcester Tech as part of the Allied Health program and so far Christopher House is just a great place. With nice residents and caring CNA’s and staff members.
MIchael O'connor: The facility is clean, and the food my grandmother says is wonderful. Why I am giving this place two stars is their patient/family relations. My grandmother has been multiple times to Christopher House and this third time has added to the list of messes. Every visit seems to be a never ending battle with something every visit a different thing. Her last visit I walked in on her with urine and water all over her floor, she had told me that she hadn't seen an aide in over two hours and couldn't control her self. She had just had a stroke and was using a walker and had no pants on, or depends. Her risk of falling was astronomical and there were quarts of liquid both water and urine all over the floor. It wasn't until I proceeded into the hallway to track an aid down that they confirmed my grandmother's story and they thought she was in bed. They quickly cleaned it up, and sent the head of nursing down to save face. However it had happened and could not be ignored. This time around has been a communication nightmare. Some is caused by family problems, others by the nurses and case workers not reading her chart and respecting legal paperwork provided to them. I left word with the nurse every other night for her day team to reach out to me, I work days and can not do it in person, and by 5 when I could visit her "team" had gone home. Not one person had reached out to me regarding her care, progress, or non-progress. One night I had to track down Sandy and the head of nursing. I explained the situation and was given the polite customer service responses that someone would be in touch in the morning. The next day I heard NOTHING. Before this stint in rehab she had been on the floor for several days with out food or water, she was weak and delusional. The Hospital wanted to talk about long term care and instructed their case workers to have that conversation with the family. One I reached out to Sandy after a day of silence I was told that she could not tell me anything because of the paper work and that my grandmother's wishes. Which is understandably not Sandy's or Christopher's House's fault. Christopher House has been most unhelpful in this process, and is sending her home after her medicare benefits had expired. No call, no notice to family, nothing. I only know this happened because I found a letter in a folder stating so. She had no idea about her benefits being cut off, and was confused when I asked her about it. The home did not reach out to us to discuss other options, being in the field my self I would not recommend she go live at home alone again. They are going to blindly send her home to the apartment where she laid on the floor for three days. They will not provide any help, and the case workers do nothing to help.Patients roam the home waiting for attendants because they are under staffed, and stretched so thin. My grandmother's roommate was close to 100 years old and was screaming "Momma" for a half hour from her wheel chair because she needed to use the restroom and her call was ignored. I witnessed this on multiple occasions, and had to track down an aid each time.As I said when I started the review, I understand legally Christopher House and their staff have limitations but when a family member is screaming for help, and a sole care provider to a women in her 80's who has been to the nursing home 3 times in a year and a half, preferably the answer shouldn't be "Your not her healthcare proxy this time around and shes a grown woman she can make her own decisions". When and if she needs Skilled Nursing again I will be using Sterling Village, or another place locally. It is to much stress when your loved one is going through something like this to worry about is she getting ignored? Has her depends been changed? Will they send her home against common sense? Is she getting the PT she needs? Will someone call me if her progress is sub par, or going extremely well? Just because a person is elderly they should not be ignored or made to wander their room while urine is all over the floor.
Patti dryden-shaker: My father suffered a major stroke with right sided weakness . We transferred to Christopher House for acute rehab . We meaning not just my father but my family included in my dads care .... we were treated with respect and dignity from the most caring committed team in health care . The place Was clean ! The food for my dad was good not great but if he had a complaint or concern the staff fixed it ! The PCAs were all attentive and professional! PT,OT and speech therapy were amazing ! Class Act at Christopher House . Thank you all for your dedicated service to my dad and my family . We are forever grateful!
Meghan Mcdonald: My mother received 5 star care during her 5 week stay at Christopher House, Worcester. She says "if I ever need care again, I would happily go back there, the staff was so nice and always attentive to my needs"
Cecilia Adugyamfi: My aunt have been in Christopher house twice for rehab. Even her third surgery she wants to go back but there's no empty bed. She loves the staff and how neat the facility is. AWESOME 👍👍👍
Diane Goselin: The most important thing anyone wants for their loved one is to be treated with love and dignity. I visit my Mom every day during my lunch hour and see the love and care all the residents receive. I was down the hall one day and one of the members of the care team asked my Mom for a hug. The team member had no idea i was nearby to see such a loving gesture. We also meet with the team to discuss plan of care and issues for my Mom. Thanks to all you all do for my Mom! The CNA Team, Social worker,s Activity Director and Team, Nurses, OT, Speech, Admissions, Admin, Business Office Team, Dining Services, Case Managers,Volunteer Team, HairDressing, Laundry and Medical Team are all top notch. You are all very special people to dedicate your days to those in need of long term care. Christopher House is a great long term care facility. From the bottom of our heart, thanks to you all. Love The Abasciano Family.
Jennifer Macdonnell: My grandmother went to Christopher House for rehab twice. The care that was provided was above average and if she ever needs rehab again going forward Christopher House will be our choice. She was treated with kindness, respect and dignity. Rehab staff did a great job getting her to her highest functional ability. Overall was an excellent experience for my grandmother!

The Salvation Army Adult Rehabilitation Center: what do users think?
Danielle: ONE STAR!!!!!First of all online it says it closes at 7 and it closes at 6I walked in at 5:53 and they said they were closed. This was my first time there and I was highly dissatisfied. I will definitely give my money to some other place that deserves it.
L. C.: This salvation army don't even deserve 1 star! elizabeth a cashier from there is very RUDE and racist! Be careful not to let a tag off from clothes you are going to purchase. Even if it falls right on the floor by the cashier in front of their eyes!I spent time browsing for a specific Black dress and because the tag came off that cashier elizabeth wouldn't sell it to me and she wanted to charge me $5 more than what the price was marked as. She put the dress back and refused sale. Don't ask for manager either, she won't help you'd only waste your time. They act like their clothes are brand new lol with their pricey items on unwashed stuff. Never going back there. Salvation army needs a new name or new employees at Cambridge St. Unwelcoming. Go to savers instead or even better buy brand new clothes for a better price for quantity and quality at rainbows and forever21 !
Katey Durbin: Eh, ok location. Donation area is alway a disaster it seems but recently (like this past year) its been getting better. Inside isn’t totally well organized but it’s fine for what it is.
Jacob Winograd: Lots of clothes but not many housewares and such
Abby Dancer: Good for odds and ends.
Chelsea McClure: Giving a higher rating than previously as the prices seem to be better lately. However, still can't give 5 stars because the "customer service" at the check out is definitely lacking. One woman in particular..
Jenal Nacole: The Salvation Army has some of the kindest and most helpful people working there. Whether or not I leave with the item I was looking for I am always satisfied at the end of my visit. I recommend to all people who are either wanting to donate or just looking to purchase used goods to try the Salvation Army.
Uoeno Idek: Good ppl
Kat Gordon: Cheap used furniture and home goods. Discounted used clothing. Not am upscale thrift store but a much needed and used resource for locals
Bledi Demirazi: Great selection
Will Conti: A place for everyone.. I do cokunteer work here at the food pantry and honestly it feels good to give back.
Freddie Narvaez: This place is among the pioneers in giving back to its community. HomePrepWorcester and Salvation Army will be doing big things in the near future.I loved the different styles as well as home goods. We loved our experience and had to share with the World. To help those in need.Keep the Donations coming..Thats how we HELP. By giving. Not asking what do you need? Give. Give. Give. Just give more than what you receive! From my family to your.Peace and Love
Sidney González: Tienen cosas muy buenas!
Michael Riel: It's organized
Sherry Devine: good for treasure hunters
Heidi Villaran: Not as nice as it used to be a few years ago. Less selection. It feels more spacious but not in a good way.
Wanda Torres: MY KIND OF STORE CHEAP PRICES !!!
Angela Gerard: Always find a good deal
Don “Mizterboston” Morgan: A decent enough choice of used product and the items are "clean" as far as dirt/mildew/smell. They are a donation central hub, so it seems to be well stocked. Special pricing for items that haven't sold in a week or two. I have scored some nice goodies there. There is some clutter though. Otherwise a good place for used merchandise.
Nara McCray: So many clothes
Lou (Anti_lou): Terrible business practices. Rude staff. Twice a day their laborers go out into the common area for a "coffee" break. The cloud of cigarette smoke fills the entire store. Collectibles are priced ridiculously high for a thrift shop. Only go here if you need to pick up a specific color item of clothing for cheap.

Speakers really give me hope and inspiration. I get this positive energy from them that I know is real, and that I want to experience myself!

Nick Paquin: Very welcoming, sobriety stronghold, empathetic clinicians that listen and offer the right support opposed to basic support, wide variety of commitment members daily. You will leave with a tool belt full of recovery tools and coping mechanisms. In a city where Substance Abuse is sky rocket the recovery side is even stronger therefore I recommend Washburn House the place to get to.
Audra Romani: Great place, awesome staff!!

AdCare Outpatient Facility, Worcester: what do users think?
Shawn D: I have gone twice, each time put me back on track! This place, and affiliated buildings (inpatient, and out patient) are really incredible. They have what you need that will not just fit your life style, but what you actually need to get better. So many levels of care...Thank you guys for your help!
Kentley Taggart: Staff is very well trained and experienced, not there first rodeo. Nothing but good things to say about them,I highly recommend them.
Joseph Bagnell: Had a good experience there. They really helped me. Most staff was great. Lots of different groups you can attend. Only bad experience out of the 4 months i went was that they sent my medical records in the mail to Spectrum Charter, not Spectrum Healthcare and I found out. One clinician put blame on me. Really? Being a addiction treatment program you would think Adcare is in communication with Spectrum Healthcare regularly and would have Spectrum Healthcare's Address on file. So, my personal, private records went to Spectrums cable company, not Spectrum Healthcare. You can't make mistakes like that. Then on top of it all, I was told they sent someone from Spectrum Healthcare in-person to the Spectrum cable company address it was mailed to.. They told me the cable company never received my records and no need to worry. Yeah, ok!!! I let it go instead if moving forward with getting a lawyer. Do not recommend.
Ronald Carlson: The staff is kind, compassionate and respectful. If you are in need of help this is the place to go.

Massachusetts Rehabilitation Commission: what do users think?
Elizabeth M.: Offers free education and resources to help people lead a more independent life. Also helps with funding for transportation to-from classes. They helped me with the costs to get my veterinary assistant certification as well as my scrubs, and lab coat. Parking is tricky as it’s street parking lot which takes quarters or you can park at elm st garage a few streets down. Everyone participates in a couple hour info session on Wednesday mornings. When I attended there was a long wait list and I didn’t get called to come in for 90 days.
cindy jackson: Cindy was fantastic to work with. She was always eager to help. She shared her own stories, and made me feel at ease. She goes above & beyond for the clients she works with. I have found independence because of her!
Tammy T: I worked with Beth and she was super friendly and really encouraging. MRC helped me find a good fit for a job after I hadn't been able to work for around 3 years bc of an injury. They are very resourceful.
Bmac Cz: Super helpful and friendly staff.
Mona Reed: The individuals here truly take the time to work we you. I just got hearing aids for my hearing loss. The support person I had just made me feel so good and really understood how I was feeling. MRC team is truly a great place to go if you require assistance. Thank you MRC Team
Christi Berry: People are always welcoming and make you feel as if you matter
Anni Traganos: Cindy Purcell rocks

Blue Hills Recovery: what do users think?
Tracy McPeak: My experience here has been one lie after another. I was told I would be here for seven days for mental health. When I get here, they go over all the paperwork so fast, never giving you the chance to read everything. I am now stuck here for 30 weekdays, because weekends don't count. If you try to AMA, they retain your belongings for 72 hours. You are also responsible for your airfare home. I would recommend going to your local hospital before coming here. I failed to mention there is no psychiatrist on staff. So if you need a medication change, a PCP is the only medical professional on staff. You see your therapist once a week. Since housing is free, this is considered an outpatient facility, they do not need to get prior authorization from your insurance company. Which means they can get by with being out of network with your insurance and not tell you.
Alexander Deayala: I went to Blue hills for drug treatment and basically received very little. The way it works you have individuals who are there for drug abiuse as there primary diagnosis and others for mental health as there primary diagnosis. This all basically means your treatment is supposed to be tailored based on this primary diagnosis hence you will have what’s called a substance abuse track and a mental health track. Well when I was there I was on the substance abuse track along with about 4or 5 others but there was about double or triple that amount on the mental health track and so us substance abuse people were basically lumped in with the mental health track and barely given substance abuse treatment at all even though that was our primary diagnosis and the reason we came to blue hills. When I asked about this I was basically told “Well we don’t have enough staff to run the substance abuse track also. This was totally unacceptable these people are charging our insurance companies thousands of dollars a day and basically ignoring the very reason we came in the first place. They are just very unprofessional they give you a feeling that all they care about is charging your insurance company exorbitant amounts for the substandard treatment they provide. Please understand this review is specifically for Blue Hills recovery at 474 Grove street in Worcester Massachusetts Only and , I write this because I don’t want anyone who’s trying to stop using drugs to end up going and basically receiving little to no treatment because when I was there if your primary diagnosis was drug abuse you were an afterthought and lumped into the same groups with mental health receiving hardly any treatment for your drug addiction. Thank you for your time God Bless.
Carly Clifford: Definitely one of the best places you can go for help, the staff is super understanding and supportive of everyone there. Everyone is so welcoming and kind here. I would recommend this place to everyone!!
Daniel Holtz: If you’re not sure what to expect, it’s group therapy with caring facilitators and one on one counseling with a therapist.Personally my mental health has massively improved since coming here. In 8 weeks I went from hating myself and being suicidal to loving myself and genuinely loving life.Amazing - kind staff, excellent groups and incredibly helpful environment.
Teagan Jolly: Excellent level of care. The staff is kind and caring and I received the help I needed to further my journey towards recovery and good health.
Richard Vaughan: During my stay here housing was in transition so alittle rocky. But definitely looking better and better each day. Staff at clinic wonderful also staff at housing excellent plus outside trips are very fun on weekends.
Steve Scherbarth: I just want to say that the staff at Blue Hills was and is truly fantastic. They are beyond reproach as far as always having the residents best interests in mind. I came here to learn recovery tools, coping skills, and resiliency. Blue Hills has delivered on all three. The rest is up to me through my Higher Power. Thank you very much, Steve Scherbarth grateful recovering alcoholic.
Anna Smith: My experience at Blue Hills recovery was exceptional. Coming into Blue Hills I was not doing well, but the community uplifted me and with proper care from Nurse Practitioners, Group facilitators, and Case Managers I was able to make great progress with my mental health. Specifically group facilitator Kelly was amazing and case manager Montana was also great. I highly recommend Blue hills, I was able to become a better version of myself in just 3 months time.
Kelly Devillers: Not enough words to describe the good about Blue Hills. Whether it is addiction, mental health, or both that you struggle with- the entire team there is knowledgeable friendly caring and professional
Haley Rolfe: Loved blue hills. Would recommend to anyone struggling with substance abuse or mental health. Staff is very friendly and they help you with whatever you need!
Amanda Hernandez: My experience at blue hills recovery was extremely positive and had helped significantly in my growth, healing and recovery. The staff was extremely compassionate, attentive and helpful throughout my stay from residential to discharge. I am very thankful to have been a part of the program and will carry what I’ve learned with me as I continue on my journey in recovery.
Matt S: Blue Hills was monumental in helping me navigate through my mental illness and substance abuse struggles, and provided me the tools and support I needed to overcome my challenges to lead a fulfilled, productive life. Everyone on staff is highly-trained, compassionate and supportive to help achieve your wellness goals. You do NOT have to face your recovery alone, the team at Blue Hills can be your guiding light to a better life. If you are considering treatment for substance abuse OR mental health, I strongly encourage you to contact Blue Hills and get the treatment you deserve.
GMoney: My experience at blue hills have gone really well I believe that they have potential to be an amazing treatment center but still a lot of work to do. The staff are hard working amazing people that really understand stand what it’s like to be an addict and really care for you, but obviously there are some things they need too work on but it’s still a growing business so I understand and I highly recommend going here if you are serious on getting real help and not just a vacation.
Shakes McCracken: My life became unmanageable due to both mental health & substance abuse. Blue Hills accepted me as a patient. It's staff was able to meet me where my life was at. They provided me with treatment. They helped me to meet them where they were at as healthy & productive people.
Brian Wilbert: Blue Hills is great! The staff are all really nice and accommodating. Montana is fantastic.
Heather Christian: As a family member of patient. This place is awful!!“Therapist” if you will have no actual degrees or accreditation. They have no clue how to do their jobs and honestly withought going any further. Far worse. The housing is just a co-I’d apartment. Ran by adolescent kids or ppl that don’t care. This isn’t at All somewhere you want to send your loved ones. Don’t fall for their lies. This place should be shut down. After the experience I’ve had with my loved one there. And so many ppls stories I’ve reached out to about their experiences. I’m ashamed this place has made it as long as they have.Also. Most of these reviews are made by ppl that work there. So sad!!
Neil: Blue Hills Recovery is different than other facilities. Great for mental health as well. Call insurance before going as they cover a percentage. Montana is a great case manager and is very organized.
Big Crispy: Rehabilitation is never fun. I received all the help and tools I needed to take control of my life. Great staff I would recommend Bluehills Recovery to anyone serious wants help with there mental health or behavioral issues
Cody Smith: Great staff with decent response times considering the volume of patients
marcus oneill: This place literally saved my life and gave me the tools I need to use in my everyday life. If you're dealing with substance abuse or mental health issues this is the place to be. Don't hesitate to call everyone is here to help and care about what they do.
Ray Data: This place is amazing!!! The staff are all really nice and accommodating. Montana is fantastic. I would just make sure you CALL YOUR INSURANCE before coming in. A lot of insurances will cover only a percentage and I didn’t realize that until after I was there, the admissions team I think forgot to communicate that to me. This being said even though it was expensive I’ve learned a lot from here and I don’t regret it.

The staff is compassionate and knowledgeable..I can't say enough about them. I highly suggest this program if you are struggling and even if you are not.

Emily Trout: Such an amazing experience with so many great humans. I feel like this program is SO different from others and I leave there each day feeling so positive.
Raymond Lauzier: This place is amazing, at first I was apprehensive and scared, never really tried recovery and or getting and staying sober before. I learned alot about addiction, alcoholism, treatment, mind and body therapy. The staff is great, very friendly, knowledgeable and really care about each and every client that comes through thier doors. They give you the ability to humble yourself and accept help, knowledge, therapy, and compassion, they supply all the tools needed to realize living sober is achievable if you just believe and work at it and be honest an open. They keep you busy 6 days a week learning to do life without the addiction holding you back. It is a clean, safe, fun place to recover, a place I shall never forget, thank you all for your help and support through my 4 month journey together, best wishes and god bless you all.
Shawn Monks: Nothing but glowing reviews for LAR. The staff meets clients where they are at. It's a warm, welcoming environment conducive to recovery. The best way to describe it is that the place has a "non-profit" feel. Everything I saw was done in the best interest of clients. That's not always the case in the recovery field.Very refreshing! Highly recommend!
Kelly Booth: Everyone is supper supportive and non judgmental! They also have evening classes for when you work during the day. They do fun activities like kayaking in the gym
James Gattoni: Finest substance abuse rehab I've been too.
Emily Sherber: While it is ALWAYS up to the individual to do the work to get and stay clean and sober, Lake Ave's staff and environment are incredible and truly provides the opportunities to learn to live a new life free of drugs, alcohol, gambling, pornography, etc.
Robert Hutchins: Lake Avenue was the aftercare that saved my life. The importance of aftercare is vital to success in recovery. Still remember my first day when I cried and stomped my feet wanting to go home after 31 days inpatient. Gave the program a chance and made lifelong connections. Uprooted myself and planted near the Lake Ave facility for long term success. The personal relationships formed, most of these folks are well educated and well traveled in the addiction space themselves. They don't treat you as a patient or client. They treat you as a friend they want to see succeed who's battled the front lines with you. Lake Ave pushed me to be the man I am today, almost 20 months clean and sober. Still keep in touch and attend the alumni groups. It was the program I needed that never thought existed.
James Burke: I would like to Apologize for my post earlier i was upset because something came up missing And it wasn't really important my recovery is. so I apologize to lake view and the people that run it
William Benoit: I happen to work there as a driver. If it has to do with recovery this is the perfect place. Gina Abbott and staff are on their game and are a top notch team of recovery specialist. Kudos to you Lake ave recovery!!!
Casey Dore: I wouldn’t of been able to get sober and stay sober without lake ave
Melissa Lourens: Absolutely an Amazing place to go for anybody suffering from alcoholism or addiction I have attended Lake Ave when they first opened and am about 2+ years clean and sober and couldn’t give you anything else other than a unbelievable place to go to create a better life than what you are living now!!!💕💕
Julie Scricco: Wonderful place that truly helps support people in recovery. The staff is amazing and the program really is set up for people to succeed. Would recommend to anyone suffering from the disease of addiction!
Darien Brousseau: Great place the staff is assume, they really care about our recovery.Highly recommended it to anyone struggling with substance abuse.
Kris Fitch: Lake Ave has been instrumental in my husbands recovery. They are skills based and have taught him the skills that he has never had before. I would recommend them to anyone dealing with addiction issues. The counselors there are outstanding, and have helped him and me through many phases of his recovery!
