Alex M: Have a few friends that live here and have visited them separately on a few occasions. Wasn’t impressed. Honestly a bit of a joke when considering the way that the building is marketed. The product delivered also doesn’t seem to match what is advertised. Good thing I don’t live here, because I’d be feeling pretty ripped off.Here’s just a few things I’ve noticed from the few times I’ve come to visit:- Hallways always stink. There’s a persistent odor of dirtiness, usually of trash/food/marijuana and it’s pretty gross. Hallways are also kinda dark and the walls just look sticky and gross.- Useless facilities. I’ve had to do an emergency load of laundry here before and having seen the laundry facilities on each floor I’ve gone elsewhere. If they aren’t broken, they’re in use and overpriced (especially when it seems like this is more of an affordable housing project than anything). I mean 1 washer and dryer per floor? For this many people? Laughable.- Gross sidewalks. Between fluids and dog wastes, I’m constantly looking down to make sure I’m not stepping in something undesirable when I’m outside of the building.- Maintenance issues. Low water pressure, mediocre heating and cooling, and a period where it was nearly impossible to use the elevators. I mean cmon? What are people paying for here?Overall the apartments seem pretty basic. I’ve heard they have renovated some of them, but not all and even when they clean them up and promise a renovated apartment they usually can’t/don’t/won’t deliver and you’ll get a shoddy mess of crooked and poorly aligned outlets and switches, peeling cabinets and laminate, and the feeling that you likely got duped. Looking at apartments in the area recently, and noticed that this place is getting expensive. Not great value, especially when your parking is operated by LAZ and you’re getting gouged on it for sure.Word to the wise, shop around. This place likely isn’t for you. It’s in a rougher part of downtown Worcester with few good facilities and resources nearby and likely only a last option if you really need to get into the city and nothing is available.

Stephanie, the current officeManager, will go out of her way to not do what needs to be done on managementsEnd to get you your deposit mailed to you (despite having the forwarding address. Apparently it’s too hard to check her email). I moved out the end of July and it’s currently mid October and still have not received my deposit despite numerous calls, emails and multiple cancelled checks on their end (twice they’ve cancelled the check). I’m currently in the process of filing with small claims to hopefully receive my deposit back (will mention that I owe nothing in damages/deductions and have paperwork indicating I am entitled to my full deposit). DO NOT move here. It’s not worth it. If you do end up living here, maintenance staff and EVERYONE ELSE in the management office is very nice and extremely Helpful but unfortunately you’re at the mercy of Stephanie so don’t chance it.
Kristen Zardiackas: Like with most things was nice for a short time, the reason I am only stopping to write this review is I had a terrible nightmare I was living there again I kid you not, last night. I was thankful it was just a dream, they played me and my bf out of so much money, our unit was damaged completely not even being our fault and despite us being up on rent was forced out illegally to fend for ourselves and promised things by the management there, only to be disappointed. Trust me, when looking do your best to avoid this building it has a history of changing owners rapidly and they don't do upkeep on the building so your apartment could suffer extreme loss, including all your belongings, happened to us. We are much happier away from this toxic landfill 100%

tiana: While the leasing team is super nice the building itself is INFESTED with roaches. I talked to someone who had been living there for a long time and he said even the cleanser apartments have roaches and some even have mice. I only lived there for less than a week and thankfully they let me out of my lease and I was able to find another place. It’s not worth the money and the gym equipment is rusty and held of the machines are missing the pin to change the weight. Honestly that’s the least of your worries with this building. If you don’t mind some friendly critters this i absolutely recommend

Marisol Mella: Steer clear of this place. I would give it zero stars if I could. Building management does not deal with problem tenants and they are useless when you need help with anything. There is currently only one working elevator that is used for moving people in and out as well, so there is obviously a long wait to enter or leave the building. The units are not well renovated especially the kitchens. Not worth the stress or money of living here. It’s not the upscale building they claim to be.

M: Had photo proof that maintenance was in my apartment while I was not home. I have not put in a maintenance request since September 2022 and it was related to my kitchen sink. Left building a message looking for explanation, no response, put in a maintenance request advising only that I left a voicemail and inquired if someone could call me back. Woman in the office laughed when I brought up my concerns. Was told by an employee to email the “lead concierge” my concerns. Emailed her with photo proof and time stamps, no reply, sent follow up no reply. Confirmed by two employees that maintenance was in my apartment fixing my heat, which had absolutely nothing wrong with it. No maintenance request has been put in since September, no one called me or asked for permission to enter my apartment either way. “Management” is extremely unprofessional here.
Jaime S: Unprofessional staff. Buildings are not clean. Untreated mouse problem in my apartment for three months, getting their help is like pulling teeth.
Brie Marie: I lived at The Grid on 507 Main Street. With living in a major city there is going to be some chaos however I am not sure why other people’s problems were not solved. My parking spot was always taken and they would tow people for me immediately, a man tried to follow me and my dog into the building and the security guard escorted me to my building, even with all of the chaos outside I always felt safe as soon as I was home. With being able to walk to bars it saved my partner and I a lot of money when they would come visit on parking and such. Overall the only things that were annoying was the noise, the parking lot always being a bit chaotic even though I paid for it and my lack of an oven. Overall a great place to live and be young and living on your own!

Tons of reviews on how they don't fix anything or take a long time to get anyone to fix it. Sure it's a convenient location and looks good with a fresh coat of paint, but if something breaks.... good luck.
Heather: Slum. Laundry room is garbage. Property manager ignores calls to fix literally anything. My light has been out for weeks, and my outlets have been out since a pipe burst months ago (PM actually came by after to tell me that the kitchen is "designed to be filled with water" and encouraged me to consume whatever leaks from the water boiler in the apartment above me) and my kitchen isn't suitable to store food. My rent was raised in the midst of this. The office staff are useless/absent

Ada Cook: We’re fed up with this place. It’s hard enough trying to find an apartment in this economy, but when a potential place cancels on you for no reason, that’s just rude. The Grid owns multiple apartment buildings in multiple towns, so you’d expect them to be professional and deferential to potential renters. Nope. Both me and my S.O. have been cancelled on MULTIPLE times by their admin or leasing agent. They literally just messaged us to confirm two appointments to see places, then not even 5 mins later they cancelled with no explanation or apology. I’m honestly baffled that they’re so successful and in business if they cancel potential renters this often. We were really hopeful and this is just one time too many. Don’t contact them, it’s a waste of your time and patience.
Kaitlync828: 507 main street apartment complex is the worst place to live. the elevators are frequently down and if they are working only one of them works. the fire alarm also goes off randomly at the middle of the nights or early in the mornings. can never sleep and always go off for more than 30 minutes. the only perk to living here is that it’s location is in downtown. i would never recommend this place to anyone. the rent is way too high for a place like this.
Jenny Herman: Unable to talk to anyone via phone, I received a text that they only offer virtual visits. It is May 2022 and in person visits should be offered. I will not rent sight unseen and should not be expected to do so. Now they say I can visit in person but not on Fri, Sat or Sun and must be before 3:30pm on M - Th and need to complete full application before an appt is granted. I am ok to provide basic info in advance, maybe you need to see my 800+ credit score but full application is a bit much. I see there are many units available. Perhaps the process should be easier...

Joy: The concierge are very friendly and do excellently in relating with the people who live at the Grid, while the management are kind people who have helped me a lot. I used to be seriously annoyed at pet-owners not picking up after their dogs but the Grid or the city installed pet trash cans on each block and have street cleaners regularly cleaning the street, which has allowed me to resume fall street running around the residence without stress. Even when I discontinued running outside the spacious, highly equipped, and well-machined gym was what I resorted to, since it is open 24/7. They have ample Purell wipe dispensers in each section of the gym for cleaning machines, mats, and equipment. The size of some of the apartments are small but you're paying for a centralized location with bus access, as bonus. I prize living alone rather than with acquaintances, antagonistic roommate(s), or strangers above the stress of marginally more space with roomies. I don't regret my decision to stay. For those without a car, the Gala market and restaurants are walking distance, the bus is down the corner (5 min from the apartment building) and there are multiple stops everywhere around here. Cons include, too loud music and shouting can be heard occasionally, depending on the neighbor assigned, but it's quiet for a city. "Hemp" sometimes odorizes the hallway on a floor or more, but one can walk fast to avoid it. It doesn't enter any apartment if you don't want to smell it. Overall, first class for my highly restricted budget. Maintenance always got back within the week and adhered to my request not to enter except I answer the door. I had about 4-7 maintenance calls with everything resolved, timely response and updates. No problem. I also loved that there was no mold in my apt. and they had someone come through the floor to test all the apartments for mold etc. In final period, they rapidly produced my security deposit and also management was extremely considerate in making recommendations when I was moving in and out.

Their response was “we’re sorry but we’re not going to fix it”.Upstairs neighbor flooded my roof and I told them I was afraid roof May fall if not two day maybe next time. Their response was “not sure which house it is but we will be back”. Not only did they not come back, they did not touch or fix anything.Broken windows and maintainance guy came and replied “oh you don’t want to fix this it will take corporate too long and they have to put wood in the mean time etc” and I said yes please I would like to. They never gotten back to me to this day.3 of my mails have gone missing despite amazon saying “signed by front concierge” but they refuse to investigate.Doors unlocked where public can enter. I’m afraid for my family’s safety. Gates break down all the time left unfixed. Cars broken into in gated garage.I would have given it 4 stars if not for the lack of responsibility on the management part to care for their tenants.
Eileen: The major pro is location and the interior is visually appealing although all of the materials are of poor quality. Buildings are not well kept up or cleaned frequently enough. The water damage pictured below has been left at 26 Portland for almost a month and the ceilings leak every time it rains. Maintenance requests are not addressed in a timeline manner and have to be made several times and the customer service is always mediocre. Other apartment buildings nearby in similar price range seem nicer.

Michael Miller: My car was broken into while renting a private parking garage space owned by the grid. Window smashed, personal possessions stolen only to have management revoke my spot because I complained about the garage door being stuck open for weeks on end and the “keypad locked” doors not closing fully. They didn’t do any repairs to any of the doors until my car was broken into and the worst part was they had the new parts ON HAND, meaning they could’ve resolved the problem beforehand. Told me I would have to cover the damages. On top of that, the building is so poorly maintained that there’s abundant black mold, terrible water pressure no matter the floor and leaks anytime there’s more than a drizzle outside. DO NOT RENT FROM THE GRID

Jessie Jones: I am genuinely concerned about Micozzi management. My friend has lived in one of their buildings for almost 5 years but I have NEVER needed a key to enter the building when I visit. I could always pull open the back door without a key. I could ALSO open the front door without a key. It was actually pretty convenient! I did NOT feel safe in the apartment.ANOTHER reason I didn’t feel safe visiting: the bottom of their fire escape was covered in bushes! I am scared for my friend because if there is a fire because they can’t to get out!!!!

John Riezinger: The elevator at 53 Elm St. smells like something died in it and it’s been weeks with no one coming to check it out.
whitesand: Multiple packages lost/stolen. After multiple requests and even a petition signed by over 20 tenants, Micozzi refused to install a security camera and did nothing to help. The management office sent emails saying tenants should have mails and packages delivered to their work and not the apartment. Are you kidding me? I paid rent to live there and that should give me the right to have my mails delivered to this address. Office staff always rude and dismissive
Chris Daley: I recently moved out of a Micozzi apartment after three years, and when all is said and done, it was a great experience. Maintenance and staff were always very responsive and professional, and we had very few problems with the unit and building. Rent was very reasonable for the area, as well, especially with Worcester being so up-and-coming. Highly recommended!
Samantha Elliott: First working w Agent Ryan Haney, I was elated at his professionalism.. One year later and I’ve already moved out of 77 Elm St never ever to return to Micozzi! When I contacted Ryan again hoping to move but stay w Micozzi, he sent me 1 video showing over multiple months of communication, never followed up w more, and then dropped off the face of the earth. It feels like they want to attract new tenants but don’t care about keeping them? There will always be student demand who will pay anything for location. My biggest beef w Micozzi is perhaps truly with their other tenants. I and many others had multiple packages stolen from the building. After petitions and requests, they refused to put up security cameras and basically said “your fault.” Too expensive for the value and you can’t even receive mail to your own home. No recycling, overflowing dumpster, and $7 for one load of laundry which always requires 2 cycles in the dryer. Steer clear!

Micah Klayman: I have lived at the Residence at the Falls for about two-years and have had a great experience. Our needs, if any, have always been taken care of promptly and furthermore, the Management team is very nice. The prices are affordable, consistent and finally, the building is very quiet. A great place for any person looking for a place in the metro-west area.
His Will: Definitely a rude bunch if you know anyone attempting to rent a property from these people tell them the ratings of 2.1 is for a reason. We have had every type of problem you could have where we live from lack of cleanliness to major maintenance issues. They have you sign a 44 page lease what a joke. If you see their name anywhere walk away!!
aimee thorsen: Leaving the Burncoat Worcester apartments next month and I didn’t have any issues with this property management! Everything is done electronic from rent to maintenance requests, which make it very easy to communicate. If I submitted for a maintenance request, the issue was fixed within 24 hours. They did a great job maintaining lot/land during snow and trash removal was regular 👍🏻 My rent did unexpectedly increase after one year even though nothing changed, but I didn’t mind too much. The location is great and everyone who lives in the apartment complex is quiet and respectful.The only reason I’m leaving is to move into a bigger home, other than that, I would have gladly stayed another year.The unit that I had was very clean and well kept when I moved in. And the lot is pretty big for the amount of units. I never had to speak to anyone on the phone, so I can’t speak to that but all employees were attentive to my emails and always got back to me if I had a question!
