Erin Wilbur: I found a few of J&J’s properties on Zillow and received no responses when I requested to apply. I can understand not responding to online inquiries, I’m sure there are a lot to wade through. But there was one property that looked beautiful and I was very interested in. I called the number listed, the agency number, made an account on their website and requested to speak with an agent...multiple times. No answer. I left voicemails. No answer. My partner also called their offices and the agent’s number. Still no answer even after leaving more than one message. I’ve given up on the property, but it’s still listed. Completely unprofessional to ignore willing customers.

minime ko: Last month we were trying to find an apartment and came across an apartment that fits our budget so I emailed the real estate agent. The next morning I didn't get any response so I tried to call the office phone number, left a message. But never get any call back or return my email. Then few days later i research if the real estate agent (javier) has any alternative number and I found one which happened to be his cellphone number I called and he answered so I inquired about the apartment I saw on hotpads and he scheduled us to see the apartment but as soon as we get to the apartment he didn't show up, I called him several times and left a message several times but never get any response. Finally I get a hold of him but he said that he didn't put us in his schedule that he wanted to see the apartment.For me that is not professional!!!! So we got the apartment I was hesitant to sign the lease because he was so cocky about him having in the business for 10 years and told my husband that the reason why we got the apartment is because of my husband's good credit (I mean is your point, you don't want us to rent this apartment) he made us feel like we can't get no apartment at all. He is not very friendly, and professional. He didnt even give us a copy of the lease or MENTIONED that the apartment is not safe for LEAD!!!! If you are in this business for so many years how come you don't know what the heck your doing!!!! You don't know anything and you lied to the landlord so many times. I will not recommend this place. You don't want them to steal your money. They are SCAMS and LIARS.

Javier was able to show me 6 different units that all met my requirements almost immediately. It was one of the fastest and easiest apartment shopping experiences and the unit I decided on is much nicer than what I expected when starting my search. Austin Nedved: This is the worst experience I have ever had with any sort of realtor. Javier knew almost nothing about the properties he showed me. He didn't know when they were built, whether they had lead contamination, whether they had central air, et cetera. He showed me several properties, and I finally found one that I wanted. He had difficulty contacting the owner, so I texted him every day asking him for an update. Eventually, he stopped responding. I would call him and he ignored all of my phone calls.Finally, I looked the listing up online and contacted the other realtor dealing with the property. This realtor quickly got me in contact with the owner. All this was happening while Javier was ignoring all of my texts and phone calls.If you are a landlord or property owner, for the love of God, DO NOT deal with this agency! They will literally ignore well-qualified people who are looking to rent your properties. And if you are a potential tenant, I suggest you look elsewhere for a real estate agent. I would give J & J Real Estate zero stars if that were a possibility. AVOID!

Leslie Lindenbaum: The Good: Javier found us the perfect apartment for a great price. He showed us many available properties, and worked with the landlords to negotiate on our behalf. He is very technologically savvy, which speeds up the process of renting a place. In the end, he gets everything done that needs to be done.The Not So Good: The office can be difficult to reach at times. It took a while to return my phone calls. I made an appointment over the phone with one of his employees to pick something up at the office, but when I arrived, no one was there. It's just a very laid-back company, so if this style works for you, I encourage you to try J&J Real Estate. Again, they found us our dream apartment that no other realtors showed us, so they have my vote.

Tim Smeltzer: I don't usually write reviews but I thought I would take the time to say a few words about J&J Real Estate. My experience with them was quite enjoyable. Javier and his team helped to find a place that met my needs. They are both courteous and very professional team to work with. I can only add that when you are in the process of finding a new home you need to be patient. Javier did his best to expedite the process and gave me the feeling that he had everything under control. Overall my experience was a very positive one. I Will definitely be contacting J&J in the future. Thank you!

Christopher Bohley: Unresponsive to emails and questions. I had to email repeatedly to set up a showing. All I got back was short, rude and unprofessional emails. Horrible customer service and I never got a response to set up an appointment for a showing. Skip these people and find someone willing to work with you. J & J you desperately need to learn some customer service skills.

Olivia Librandi: UPDATE:: After finally getting in contact with the office about the bathtub a week after a tech said it needed replacement, 7 Hills informed me that there was some "miscommunication" as according to the photos they received from the tech, a replacement wasn't needed and the tub was fine. So apparently the tech who came to inspect and tell me they would replace it was lying to me, or they lied to the company? Either way I decided to not pursue it further. If I ever fall through the tub and face injury that will be a different story. Happy renting. :)I just started renting from 7 Hills and the apartment is decent at a reasonable price. However, this office is next to impossible to get in contact with. You're not allowed to contact the property manager listed on your lease, all communication has to go through the tenant portal. It took nearly a month of me incessantly requesting maintenance updates and contacting the 24/7 maintenance line (call AND text) for them to send out a tech to look at the bathtub in my apartment. It took him less than 5 minutes to determine that it needs to be replaced. It's cracking and feels super unstable which is what I had been telling the office for literally 3 weeks.After calling and texting the office twice, it's been a week since and haven't received an update on when this will be taking place. Which is great since it's a safety hazard :) I'm hoping to be able to change this review but from when I've seen in such a short amount of time, I can guarantee there are other property management companies out there that are reputable and take concerns more seriously. At least I would hope so.PS- If you need to actually talk to anyone at that office, whether you're a current/ hopeful future tenant, or a landlord, I'd suggest going to the office. Or sending a pigeon. Either would get you a faster response.

Tyler Mullen: They took over my property in Putnam, CT and I had to move shortly after for work. Transition seemed to be going okay but it's been 30 days and I've yet to receive my security deposit back which violates MGL. Will be seeking legal counsel and contacting BBB. Renters beware

Joanne Mercier: my boyfriend and i of 15 years have lived here 5 yearshe died. he put in a septic system for ree basically since we never got anything off our rent,. never been late or missed a payment. he died of cancer jan 12. somehow i missed a month from the portal account closing.have continues to pay since and im being harassed daily for the missing month one i explained my situation being disabled i asked to chip away at it as fast as i coulod with what i could. welp, i was told that wasnt going to be good enough didnt matter what i said it was or how i negotiated it wasnt good enough. bullying me basically aside from that i mind my business and ill leave it at that..

Landlord: Avoid at all cost! I can't imagine a worse experience. It's clear they only care about managing their owner's properties and all others go mostly neglected. They do not provide quotes for projects they "bid" on. I regularly approved work orders and was billed, yet tenants would complain the work was never completed. They also failed to renew leases in 2 of my units. When I asked why they weren't renewed, I was not given a straight answer. After demanding to see the communication they attempted to make on lease renewals, I learned they never actually reached out to the tenants.After moving to a much more professional property management company, I learned they were renting our units almost 20% below market value. In my experience, none of their employees can answer basic questions on how the property is being managed. Of all the employees, Rochelle is by far the least effective of the bunch. She lacks basic communication skills and a baseline knowledge of property management. Hard to believe she is employed.If you care about your investment portfolio, don't work with 7 Hills.

From lawn mowing, snow removal, water bills and maintenance needs, she is always right on top of it. Their portal is extremely user friendly too! Top notch management in my opinion!

Landlords United: Best thing we ever did was hire 7 hills. They do what they say they are going to do and they are honest instead of scammers. We previously had DIROBERTO and they did nothing but steal our money to pay for their partying instead of managing. DAN DIROBERTO is known for making fake invoices, changing the prices and not caring for the properties. STAY FAR AWAY from them and hire 7 Hills!!!

Chris Myrick: A month after moving in a cast iron pipe began leaking. Here we are 10 months later and still not fixed. You can never get anyone on the phone and no one is ever in the office. The home has foundation damage that they refuse to fix. As soon as you give your 60 day notice they start trying to show the house. This is highly unprofessional and rude to tenants. I would highly highly highly recommend finding someone else to rent from.
