Nikki Kirk: To be honest, I was a little hesitant about this place when I read the reviews. I was moving out of my apartment and needed a storage unit the same day because our other storage place rented out our reserved unit by mistake. I called the owner of Worcester Self Storage Box, and told him that I am currently moving my belongings into a truck and would be down in a few hours. He told me to just give him a call when I was ready to come down.Well by the time we were done, it was 8:00pm. I called the owner again and told him we were ready. He said he was going to bed because he didn't think I would call this late. I explained that the same night, we were driving across the state, and we desperately needed a place to store our stuff that night.He was very understanding, and came to meet us at the storage place, which I promise you, looks much better on the inside, and the moving process was effortless. He helped us move our furniture into the unit, and when we tried to tip him for all of his troubles, he straight up refused. He's a quality guy, and I feel very comfortable leaving my belongings there. It's very clean on the inside as well.There's also options to insure your belongings for as little as $8 a month. Look into it! You can lock your units with your own lock, so there's no way anyone but you can gain access to it. I highly recommend Worcester Self Storage Box!

Dan Antar: This place should close down.They prices are OK, however they service is atrocious. You have to call to gain access to you're stuff. Worker can meet you but never before 9:30/ 10:00 am. There is no code gate or self access . When you call they say 9, 5:30 but it's not honored . Mice in building . Worker responded with don't leave a candy bar behind ... pay the extra 10 bucks and go to a professional place.It's old building turned into storage, meaning it is not well designed . No heat and you have to wait for worker to turn the light on .All and all huge upgrade is needed .

Nina Carter: The guy that is there is completely unprofessional and barely speaks any English apparently the owner of the building is out of the country so good luck getting anything considered customer service anything but easy. I rented a unit for less than a week and hadn't moved anything into it before I decided to get my money back because I was just offered an apartment the guy there told me that they don't do refunds and that he did not know how to do so he gave me a fake number to call and it's for a computer and technology company not even U-Haul or storage related I got screwed out of a hundred and $25 when I should have just pay the extra money to go to the actual U-Haul facility where they know how to handle all types of customer complaints and situations NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER GO HERE!Sidebar: you also have to call this guy who barely speaks English personally on his cell phone if you want to get into your unit you aren't given a card or code to access the building it's cheap and trashy and I don't understand how they get business.

Monique: It took less than 10 mins from the time I arrived till the time I pulled in to start unloading my SUV with registering and everything. When you park...park across the street in the little parking lot. I have to get the guys name next time...very nice...straight to the point...doesnt waste your time. Prices are lower than usual storage and the place was relatively clean. I would definitely recommend this over a name brand storage...save your money and your time! :). Oh they are also affiliated with uhaul but waaayyy cheaper so thats comforting.

I'm hearing a lot of reviews about people's storage units being broken into. I promise you if I go and check and my storage units been broken into, thats gonna be a huge issue for them.

Charles Lahti: They don't care about long term renters. Have had a unit for over 20 years, and they keep raising the price. Just had to rent another unit to save money.Corporate should look at the way they handle good renters.

keith kobel: Don't store your belongings here. No security. I was robbed. Their Insurance company Is a joke. Customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I reported a problem to C.S. because it was before mgr.'s hours. They were never told of the problem, then they lock the restroom because, as I was told someone was using it wash things. If they had listened to me in the first place they would have known someone was living there as I reported. The place is filthy + managers are just there. 0 rating in my 1st storage rental. I was paid for a full year + they gave me a date when the check was mailed. Wrong. Given a date a week later, wrong. Well, the 1st date was 4/11, when I finally received the check it was dated 5/13. This place is the pits!

Eric: I have rented from two CubeSmart locations witch including the one on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester and the smaller one which I definitely prefer is on the McKeown Road in Worcester. We enjoy the quiet, clean, less active older building on McKeown.. plus respectable staff is class.

Darrion Hazard-Johnson: This facility is not secure. My unit was broken into twice in the past month. You think after the first time, they would have taken proper measurements to prevent this from happening again.

Vivica Jade: My storage unit was broken into as well as other units in the building. my motorcycle and other very personal belongings had been taken. I got the call on Jan 13th, 2022 . My unit was on the 4th floor level in a "secured building". This must be something that happens frequently since when i went to pick up the keys for the new lock maintenance put on for me, the lady in the office with me said the same thing happened to her a few months ago here. Staff does not care. The regular elevators in the building had all been shut down and not working pretty much since ive had the unit for 1.5 years. So I would have to walk up 4 flights of stairs and or use the freight elevator if it wasn't in use which was very inconvenient especially being pregnant and having asthma.

Michael Cordella: *Shrewsbury St.* The overhead doors to get in and out of the loading area are constantly broken. If the entrance door is working then the exit door won't work and vice versa. I think in the time I've been there both doors have only ever worked at the same time for maybe a week. Also half the time I go there the elevator doesn't work; there's constantly an issue with the door closing properly. The climate control is also inconsistent. Sometimes it's very hot and other times it's kind of cool but it's never the same temperature for more than a couple days in a row. I honestly don't know what's going on there. They went up on the price recently but still nothing gets fixed. Elevator never lines up with the floor and hard to move a cart in and out of. Place is a joke.

Jennifer Castrodad: They increase your monthly rate tremendously. In 1 year I was increased $125 per month started at $214 per month now paying $339. Is ridiculous for the same size unit.

I needed self storage for myself and chose 10X self storage in Worcester because when I visited their facility it was nothing like other facilities I’ve been in. This place is state of the art secure, extremely clean and very well maintained. Michael the manager there is unbelievably helpful. I can’t begin to tell you how amazing this guy is. At the drop of hat, if you need anything, he’s there to help and never asks for additional anything. My experience here has been amazing and I plan on referring all my customers in need of storage space to this location. If I could give Michael and this business more than 5 stars, I would in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!!!

Carl Cervini: On a slippery, icy morning, I had to rent a van to pick up some lumber at HD. I changed the order so I needed a bigger truck to handle the load. I called while at HD and explained my situation. They said no problem come on back and switch trucks. They had the paperwork and the new truck ready and waiting to go. They were all very professional from the first day counter girl to the General Manager of the store. Thanks for making the day a little easier. Great job!

Jeff Rezende: Probably the worst location I’ve ever dealt with. I had a half day rental and I was charged for 4 full days. I’ve been on the phone with customer service AND the worcester location’s manager a total of 7 times combined and I never received my money or a call back. Customer service closed the case multiple times without resolving the issue. Stay away from this location.

Isaac Dube: If I could leave zero stars I would. The manager at this place is awful! I made a reservation and upon arrival I was very rudely told my drivers license was fake and that they would not rent me a van. My license was issued in 2018 and does not expire until next year. I had to call the Worcester police station, have an officer show up and confirm my license was valid before they would rent to me. Over an hour of my time wasted.Throughout this whole process I tried my best to stay level headed, never even raising my voice. However the manager was rude, dismissive, and has no business working in customer service. After the the officer confirmed my license was real and simply an older version, she didn’t even apologize. She doubled down by taking a photo of me and my id on her personal cell phone and insisting she did that with every customer.Uhaul corporate if you actually read these reviews, it’s time to trim the FAT. This woman is costing your business money.

Michael Murdock: I had the pleasure to speak with Evan this morning regarding my storage. He, like every other employee I've encountered there or spoken to over the phone, was pleasant, courteous, and professional. I feel my items are safe and in good hands.

Johanna Lolax: The Belmont Street site has consistently refused to serve me. I am disabled and walk with a cane, and I had to rely on my husband to reserve a large unit for our temporary storage purposes. When we visited today to close out the unit, we were refused an inspection and a receipt for the closeout, though we are paid to date. There were no other customers in the store or onsite when we were there, and there were two employees available who were not busy - one was simply standing by a stack of boxes. But both refused - repeatedly - to walk across the street to our unit with us to inspect the unit so that we could remove our lock without worry of unauthorized use. When we were refused a receipt for closeout, we were told we had to return in 4 hours when the storage facility clerk would be in. This site had been great on customer serve for years, but this year, the service under new management has been extremely poor. There are other local UHaul sites and other storage and van rental firms in Worcester and other nearby towns. Save yourself the frustration, and use another firm.

Holly Williams: Staff was extremely unprofessional. Their radio system was on loud for all to hear and while I checked in, my wife pulled around back to the trailers. Clearly over the radio I hear “Some N****r out here trying to back up to the trailers, I’m about to call the cops on them” and the ladies at the front just laughed it off. They continued to joke back and forth with derogatory comments on the radio while I was being checked out while I could hear everything. They also continued to say derogatory comments around my wife while hooking up the trailer. Then they hooked us up to a trailer that before we left the lot found was coated with mud on the inside. In addition our lights were not working and they said “are you driving at night” we said no and they said it shouldn’t be a problem. Finally, we asked for a different trailer that was clean and they agreed to change it for us. They hooked up the chains wrong, which we discovered and fixed ourselves. The only good thing was that it turned out it was our electrical adapter that was causing the lights not to work and they ended up giving this to us for free. So some redemption at the end but a very rough road to start.

Mario E: Had a tow hitch installed on my new car. The installer treated the parts with care as he removed them. Service was top notch, quick, professional operation. Delivered as promised. Even went the extra mile to ensure my keyless sensor was relocated to not impact performance. All-in-all highly recommended. Keep up the great work!

Lindsey Murray: I had ordered 8 large wardrobe boxes that didn't fit in my suv. The 2 men and women working helped me load my car and strap the boxes to the roof. I had my 2 young children in the car and they made sure we all got home safely with our order. Big thanks to them for their professionalism and care!

The place reeked of weed and the 3 employees proceeded to state how there was a nationwide uhaul outage.... they couldn't do a paper slip (false), they would call later in the day (false) and they were sorry that we were without a truck.Am I venting? Yes. Do I feel like a valued customer? No. Do the folks at uhaul care? Absolutely not.Uhaul is the worst.

Suzanne: If this is the location near the hospitals on lake Ave than I had a great experience each time I have encountered dealing with the employees at Uhaul , entering my space and paying both in person and setting up online services. I called the same day and was able to secure a space for extra things for a family member. The parking is a bit of an issue but for the price I think if you pull around to the storage pods you can either cross the street or use Google to see if the times are less busy ! Setting up pre pay is an awesome choice to avoid the traffic and parking situation. All I all I am very happy her and inside the actual facility the area is impeccable. Not one spec of dirt or dust. The floors shine like a mirror and lights go on as you proceed along the path toward your bin. I recommend Uhaul as a place to rent and use for temporary storage.

Marissa McKeon: It’s a few days later and I’m still telling people about our fun tasting experience at Canal District this past weekend!! I never take the time to review places but this one really stood out. I signed us up for the Valentine’s tasting for a perfect gals night out with my group of crazy and amazing women who don’t get out together more than once a year! First impression is the space. It is beautiful, bright and open and draws you in right from the parking lot. We got set up at a comfy table and settled in. Livy (co-owner) was our host for our tasting and she was perfect for our group! She totally understood our vibe and jumped right in to our crazy conversations and fit right in. The wines were really good. We had 4 as part of the tasting and it was fascinating to learn about each wine and then to see which of us loved which ones and why. We even passed Livy’s tests on what we learned (only I admit that knowledge is now long gone!) I loved the homey feel that we all got like we were welcomed into someone’s kitchen and invited to relax and enjoy the night. Every wine we tasted was great and each of us fell in love with at least 1 bottle to take home for later. Sadly the restaurant called to remind us of our reservation so we had to run but I think we could have spent another hour there enjoying ourselves. The tasting was an excellent value and the bottles we all purchased were very reasonable (discounted too if you brought one you tasted.) This is Worcester gem that I highly recommend and hopewill be around for a long time! Oh a special shout out to Bri’s Sweet Treats for some chocolate deliciousness to enjoy with our wine. If you are smart you will do a tasting and then walk around and experience all that the Worcester Public Market has to offer! Sorry no photos….too busy enjoying ourselves.

Liz Codd: Been to a couple tastings here and and can't wait to come back! The staff is fun and knowledgeable and they always have something exciting to try - from serious winter roses to unfiltered French orange wine to huge bold Greek reds, you won't be bored. If you are looking for delicious hand-picked wines from trustworthy experts I can't recommend this place highly enough, definitely check it out!

The selection of wines is nicely curated -- interesting and with lots to discover, but not overwhelming. It's such a fun experience to stop in, definitely one of the highlights of the Canal District!

Carefully curated wine selection focusing on minority-owned and sustainable wines, and the staff is incredibly knowledgeable. Brendon hosted our tasting and was an absolute delight; we felt totally welcomed and comfortable even knowing little about wine, no pretentious wine shop vibes here. Can't wait to go back on a Sunday for their mimosa tastings!!

Lee Curtis: We chose Canal District Wines for our first "in person" company celebration and we're so glad we did! We consumed all four of their Thursday night tastings and they even accommodated an extra human last minute. My team was all smiles! One was so inspired by the experience that he was contemplating a new career as a cooper ;) Everyone was friendly, funny, and knowledgeable, and the canine on staff was incredibly personable and stylish! Everyone left with wine and stories! We will definitely be back and hope to invite them to our new office soon.
