Eddy's Flooring America: what do users think?
Aaron Sjostedt: Very quick to be serviced, took care of my needs at a great price! 5 stars. Shop local!
Carolyn Tay: Quick turn around time and his prices are reasonable! From order to completion of project, less than 2 weeks!
Heidi Cesarano: Bad service as they never called me back
Jon Dean: Found a 12x10 roll of laminate flooring for a $125 bucks. They were help full. Recommend checking them out
Kayla Avedian: If I could leave 0 stars I would. From the very beginning this process has been a disaster with Eddys Flooring America. We ordered the flooring materials in December 2020 for my new how that we would be moving into in January 2021. Eddy assured us that it would only take a few days to get the materials and there would not be any issues for installation. When we moved Eddy had not even ordered the materials yet. After two weeks the flooring was finally in and we were able to get started. The first installation went pretty smooth, or so I thought, but afterwords the transition piece and the boards around it were beginning to unlock due to the floor being not leveled between the kitchen and dining room. The amount to times I had to call in order for someone to fix this mistake was astronomical. I could never get a straight answer and at first Eddy told me that I had left over materials that they could use but quickly changed his response and said that there was none left. This resulted in waiting for another box to be ordered. After a month I called almost everyday to try and get someone to tell me where my order was, for Eddy to call me back, or figure out an installation date. At one point the receptionist screamed at me and told me that I needed to speak to Eddy directly and hung up on me. I couldn’t believe it. In tears I finally was able to get Eddys cell phone number, to which he never apologized for the horrible customer service, or for taking so long to get back to me. We set up a day for this issue to be resolved and no one showed up during the scheduled time. I called them and was told that the installer got held up at another job. We rescheduled for two days later. Once again no one showed up and stated that they “tried calling me”. However I had no missed calls and had service the entire time. A third date was scheduled and this time the installer put in a similar but different floor that was not the one that we had ordered. The installer even hid a white piece of flooring under my refrigerator. My floor is gray. After further examination I noticed they they tried to hide their bad cuts with heavy caulking and quarter rounds. Obviously I did not want to be stuck with a floor that might cause problems down the road. Eddy was hesitant to believe what I was saying about the wrong flooring being installed and I had offered to show him pictures or for him to come look himself. He refused. So yet again another box had to be ordered. Finally after a few weeks the box came in. The same installer came and apologized and claimed that “he was only doing what he was told to do”. I couldn’t even believe it. Finally, after SIX MONTHS of headaches, tears, and tons of phone calls the job is done. I would never recommend this place to anyone ever. There are other local places that will treat their customers with respect.
John Piehler: They we r a good store
Richard Denaris: Actually I visited Austin furniture which is now inside Eddy's flooring. The building is shared. Austin furniture is great I've been getting my furniture there for years. Good prices and delivery service is cheap and the delivery guys were good with zero damage to furniture
Noel Stewart: They are great helpful and have a good selection they take the time you need to make decisions
Mr. Consultant: LOOKING FORWARD IN THE UP COMING MONTHS , A NEW BEING IN A NEW WORLD OF EXTREME MAKEOVERS . LOVE THIS PLACE .
Mary Clark: Very disappointed. It's a maze with lots of samples and products but trying to find our way through the samples was overwhelming. Not enough info to do it on our own and the "salesperson" warned us she was alone, pointed us in the right direction, and left to do some other work. We were the only customers at the time. I don't know if the prices posted here and there were accurate but they seemed high but it was difficult to tell high vs low end products.
tkpopeye: Although the owner is a nice gentleman, stay clear of this business. HACKS!.. HACKS! They really did an awful job on the install. Never again. The price is not much cheaper than any competitor's. If you need to, pay the few extra bucks and get the job done RIGHT!The pictures are of my room in my newly constructed home. Look at the awful seams. In addition, they hacked up the freshly painted baseboards. The builder had his painter retouch these hacks. After Eddys came back to (attempt to) fix the seams, they hacked the retouched baseboards again.I’m not a professional carpet installer by any means but l have installed carpeting before and did a better job than these guys did. It’s not rocket science!
Anne D: So helpful. A family business that really cares
Ethan Friedrich: After we got a few estimates on flooring we decided to go with Eddy's and I couldn't be happier. His prices were incredible and he had a large range of product. He stopped by and gave us an estimate and was very professional. VINCE, his employee who laid the flooring, did an excellent job. We ran into some issues but he did very well working around them! He was super friendly and very experienced. Overall, Eddy's Flooring America is a great choice for any business or residential application in the Worcester, MA area.
Beth Chien: This was the craziest and more horrible service I have ever encountered. We put in an order in the middle of December 2019. Before you start thinking "Covid"; this carpet was to be installed in 4-6 weeks. Putting us at end of January. No communication, excuses and broken promises is all that has happened over the last 6 1/2 months. Still not finished and installed! Then they have the audacity to send me an invoice of how much I still owe (on the part that they have not finished). I am done with them. We don't even want the carpet anymore. The amount of time and energy have spent on this for over half a year is ridiculous. I urge everyone to stay away from Eddy's Flooring!! Save your precious time, money and energy!
Joseph faraoh Williams: They can't afford to pay their employees on time..Gave bounced checks for every single installers i know that worked for them..Good luck!If they treat their own installers like 🐒 monkey imagine the costumers!!!
Geoff Porter: WARNING: Go to any other carpet place around, this place is awful, first of all their prices are as high as any around, second their customer service is absolutely terrible. We went here to try and use a local company and spend our money locally. We went to their messy store and purchased two carpets for our home, although they were a $1000.00 above our other quotes we still wanted to use a local business. The first install was supposed to be the week after the measuring, needless to say, after many calls to schedule the install, (they never returned any of these calls) when we finally got a call from the store to schedule the first install another week had elapsed. The install was great, they showed up on time, were professional and said that the the store would call the following week to schedule the second part of the install. After waiting a week to hear for them we started calling almost on a daily basis and got no responses from multiple messages left. After leaving a few messages with NO RESPONSES AND WAITING for over a month for them to respond and schedule the install I finally had enough and called the store and left a message CANCELING THE SECOND INSTALL, the following day the install department called to schedule the install, at which time I told them directly of my intention to cancel the order. Days went by with us not hearing anything about our REFUND, as we had paid in advance for most of the work. Again I left a couple of messages asking for a RETURN CALL, nothing, then I left an ANGRY message and received a return call the next day from Eddy, the owner, he said he'd look into it and get back to me, he got back quite quickly and told me they'd done nothing wrong and he would offer NO REFUND!!!! I immediately told him that I demand a refund, that I would NEVER have their product installed and that this matter would be brought to the Attorney Generals attention!! Have they reached out to us, NO, NOT ONCE. I will update you on our progress as it occurs, but please don't waste your time & money with this company. Also please note that I am not the only NEGATIVE REVIEW for this company, BEWARE!!!!!
Andrew Connelly: 3/21/2020Buyer Beware! I am so hopeful that my review can deter any further customers from purchasing floors of any kind from Eddy's Flooring. We were quoted 2-3 days to install 3 rooms for hard wood floors. I am writing this note on day 35 with no end in sight. I sincerely believe that this business will not make it much longer and that all prospective customers (even if referred to them or someone else provided a glowing review) should STAY CLEAR from this business. To start, we were hammered repeatedly for the deposit. Then, once paid, they could not start for 6 weeks. Once they started - so far - two installers have quit and both made it very clear that Eddy's Flooring stopped paying them. I really hope this is helpful and I would be happy to take emails and phone calls from prospective customers to explain further details of this incredibly bad experience.
Ray Hopkins: The absolute worst place to go to have flooring or carpet installed. They are crooks. As a flooring contractor who installed for them I unfortunately have first hand knowledge. They'll take your deposit and treat you like a 2nd class citizen you're on the back burner now. They have a horrible business practice. They bounced several checks of mine, never signed others they issued to me. They can barely afford to pay their delivery boys. There are way better options for your flooring needs, other than Eddys...
danny marques: Very assisting. Very informative on choices that we are looking to make on our (future renovated kitchen) floor. Looking to do business for sure. Very helpful.
Jake Mudarrie: Friendly staff! Lots of options. Been around forever. Great people. Check it out for sure.
tina kittredge: Prices are reasonable

A.L.F. Floors: what do users think?
amin daryaei: This is not the place you would want to do business with! I'm having the worst experience in my home purchase process for reasons below. All the numbers below are out of pocket charges (over builder's allowance).1. For a job we were given an out of pocket payment estimate of $3000-3500. But after the "actual calculations" we were given a quote for $6600 which is 2x that the "estimate". I'm not sure what type of an estimate would be this far off for an experienced sales person!2. They are not the best people for time management and giving you the numbers when they are supposed to!3. For another part of the job that may have cost a total of $1000, they gave us a quote for $2000 (this is another charge over the allowance).I believe they are over charging us just because they know that we have NO other choices! We must work with these folks because our builder is doing business with them and we are not allowed to pick any other places unless we pay everything out of pocket!I'm very disappointed and unfortunately I have to work with them until we close on our home!
Deb Sayles: Not happy with this place at all. The tile work in the bathroom is nice, the wood floor refinishing was awful. I came home to see a super high gloss. There was a patch about 4'X5' that was not even done. ( how does that happen when you have 2 coats??) There were "waves". places where you could see the finish was on but not spread out. like 6 feet long waves. There was a puddle about 20" diameter where, again, you could see the finish was poured but never spread. They said they would come back and redo the whole thing, The second time, they did use the satin finish. much better. Now we have drip marks. little dots. We have sanding marks. there are specks of debris imbedded in my floor. And still a spot where the finish was not applied. Smaller than before, but still there. I did not want them back. The office made promises that they did not delver on.
Sean “amcat35” L: We recently had A.L.F install flooring for a kitchen/bath remodel. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Bruce and Lisa were great to work with. They were upfront on expectations and cost, in fact, our work ended up costing less as it was less involved than initially thought . Bruce’s honesty with this shows how professional and honest his business operates. Skyler and his team did the install, they’re professional, work done with attention to detail and customer satisfaction. Overall, a great experience. Will definitely recommend A.L.F to anyone looking at flooring.
Lew Rose: We used ALF to design my new kitchen in a 90 year old colonial. The stylist helped us with decisions about hardwood or tile in a kitchen, blending old wood with new wood from kitchen to dining room, and color of tile to help blend the down stairs decor. She actually suggested a bit more pop in the tile than the one we choose. Although gorgeous, I wish we had gone for more of the pop! Fantastic! Love being in the room and waking up to it drinking my coffee with the whole design. Jo Anne Rose
Meagan Ryan: First time homebuyer and I was worried about picking out the right colors and textures. My friend and flooring guy said to go to ALF. I was so worried about price that I said we should get all white. Lisa was wonderful and helped me make some good color choices staying in my budget. ALF is the place to go!
Bob A: To Whom it May Concern,I would like to inform you that I spoke with your female receptionist this afternoon with some questions about floor pricing. By the third time I had explained myself she was able to understand what information I was looking for. The information I was looking for was the labor cost per square foot to install a floating floor. I informed the lady that I was not looking for anyone to install the floor I was only looking for the labor cost so I could accurately bill my landlord. The length of the conversation we had over the phone was two minutes and 12 seconds long, I had to look back at my phone log to verify. The woman I spoke with was rude, disrespectful and anything but helpful. I could sense her frustration from the very beginning of the conversation largely due to her not understanding the information I was seeking. To abruptly end the conversation she informed me she did not have time for me due to the fact another customer was standing in front of her and then she hung up the phone on me.The actions of the woman you have chosen to represent your company is anything but friendly or efficient (taken from your website) and in my opinion deserves immediate attention. Before placing the phone call to your establishment I had already anticipated some hard feelings because I was not going to use your company to install the flooring. At no point during the conversation did she contemplate to herself that I am planning on buying a house in the next year and the amount of business that could have generated for your company. Furthermore one of the best marketing tools for a company is word of mouth. I guess in your case word of mouth may not be such a good thing. I can only imagine if she can treat me the way she did this afternoon then I am not the only one that has fallen victim to her horrible demeanor.
justin stockwell: Great design help from the knowledgeable staff partnered with a good quality installation at affordable prices!

Double D Flooring And Property Maint.: what do users think?
William Jones: Did a great job on my kitchen floor payed attention to detail and the floor is exactly what we were looking for we look forward to future projects with Double D
Koop Reynolds: Double D are currently working on a rental 3 floor rehabilitation project with me for my family and I. I live in the 1st floor and they are working on the 3rd. So far I have seen nothing but hustle and a work ethic that is rare in today's society. They have been respectful of our home and more. Both Derek and his son Ayden have been an amazing help. I've been in construction for 25 years myself, and without their help I'd never be able to get this project done on my own. The previous tenants absolutely destroyed the apartment and with Double D's help it's finally coming back together and looking like a place that people would be happy to live in. I'm very happy to have found them and hope that in the future we can continue to have a great working environment and give future tenants apartments that they can call home. I'll be honest, this is a difficult job yet they have been very consistent in their work, being here on time, and getting done what they say will. Something that is becoming very rare with contractors. Most show for a day or so then disappear and take other jobs, then come back and disappear again. Not these two. They are adamant on getting the job at hand done before moving on to others or if a call comes that they absolutely must take they do so after hours or however else they need to. I've recommended them to others but in being greedy I'm keeping them till all our work here is done here first. Providing that they are happy with the conditions also. Having work done is a two way street. If you want people to work with you then you also have to be good to them.

Happy Feet & Son Hardwood Flooring: what do users think?
Judith Fahlbeck: Well two gold wedding bands were stollen and my floors were all messed up. Brian had a newstaff of inexperienced men. I left them alone in my house. They had no reason to go into my bedroom. I unfortunately left the rings in my jewelry box on my bureau. I didn’t realize they were missing right away. No one was in my home but them. Unfortunately we are out of luck. If I noticed the rings were missing I would not have paid Brian. Worst job ever. Big mistake hiring Happy Feet. I wouldn’t want this to happen to anyone. I am sick over it. Maybe the person who stole the rings did it to someone else. Hopefully he was fired or better arrested.
Jose k SiR: Nothing but Quality work from these guys!! Highly recommended🙏🏼
Samantha F: We’ve had Happy Feet refinish hardwoods in two homes now and they always do an incredible job!
Kaitlyn Gonzalez: Extremely happy with the results! Owner, Brian & his workers were professional + efficient. They were able to get the job done on short notice. The two bedrooms we put hardwood in came out amazing, we could not be happier! I cannot wait to use Happy Feet again to re-finish my existing hardwood throughout the house! Thank you again to the Happy Feet team!
Jane Dowd: Over the past two years Happy Feet has done two major projects at my home and also done work for members of my family. I can not say enough about their work quality, attention to detail and professionalism. They having done an amazing job every time. Always my recommendation to friends and family. Incredible service with a great price.
matt epstein: I hired Happy Feet to refinish my floors in ny home built in 1840. I can’t say enough about this company Brian and James did an outstanding job. Happy Feet was on time, on budget, use high-quality products and delivered a perfect job . They were neat, clean and did not damage my baseboards. I got estimates from other floor companies but Happy Feet was hundreds of dollars less. They drove over an hour to my house. I would recommend this company to anyone that wants a professional high-quality job.Matt
Jennifer C: Happy Feet did an excellent job. I had 5 hardwood floors in an apartment done over and they look incredible. I didn’t know they could restore them to look brand new because of the bad condition they were in. They got every nook and crannyand did the thresholds as well. I am very impressed.
Kelly Bentley: This flooring company did an awful job on our hardwoods. There were waves from uneven sanding. When we called Brian out to look he told us "the polyrurethane just needs a couple months to settle" There had been some damage to the floors from previous owners using a tool to cut out carpet and he said that they could not get it out. There was uneven coating of the poly. When we complained about the job he did not see any problems but then 2 days later offered to do them again. We said no and hired someone else who did a fantastic job. It is like night and day. Lots more dust generated the second time. Hmm maybe because they took the time and actually did a good job. No waves and miraculously they were somehow able to get sand out the damage from previous owners. I would never use this company. It cost us extra money and time having to move out of our house to have them redone.
Wanda Redden: "Brian" estimated our floor it was the third one for them to do . The price had gone up considerably, but the other floors had come out as we wanted. I understand that Brian is the son of the original owner. We had the work done while we were away, and when we returned found that they had used semi gloss instead of the quoted high gloss finish. It took 3 calls, and holding their lawn sign hostage to get Brian to return and look at the floor. When he realized the error, he set up a day to buff and re-coat the floor. It took less than 20 minutes for the work to be done, and again we left for a couple days to let the odor disperse. When we returned we found that too much finish had been applied and it had flowed into multiple puddles that were quite visible. Two of them are in front of our fireplace, and you can see streaks of colorant in the puddles. If the area were to be covered by a rug, I would let it go, but they will not be covered. I have called for a week and will continue, but there has been no response. This should not be the way a company should treat a returning customer. It was their fault for using too much product, and doing the repair so quickly that they did not completely re-coat one of the thresholds. His the original owner is no longer involved in the company, the son will not give any customer service. All he wants is to get your money and move on. Do not hire this company.UPDATE: I have finally had a response from James. He came and looked at the floor and understood the problem with too much product and it flowing. He said that it would have to dry fully, which will take a couple months. The gloss finish in oil takes a lot longer to dry than the semi gloss, which I was aware of. They put the coating on too thickly. I will update this post, when the repair work is done. Today is 6/3/2016.Update: 7/11/2017 Brian returned in June of this year and repaired rebuffed and applied another coat of gloss urethane. The end result is very good, as I had originally expected.
Nathan Troy: This is the worst hardwood flooring company in the the state of mass.

Douglas Flooring Inc.: what do users think?
Tania Delehanty: We had a great experience with Douglas Flooring and love our new hardwood floors. They were great about coordinating schedules with our interior painters so we could have two projects done in one space in the timeframe between our home closing and move-in date. The floors are high quality and everyone I worked with was knowledgable, friendly, and responsive.
Sean O'Connell: Cannot say enough about the quality of work the people at Douglas do. I've had them do both refinish and installation work and everytime its been incredible and also within budget, highly recommend.
Allyson Jarry: My husband and I chose Douglas Flooring to refinished our hardwood floors. When I first called in March I was told they were booking out until July for flooring. The quote did not include carpentry work and I expressed a concern about putting money down on a job when I did not know what the cost of the carpenter would be. I was told they would hold a date for me until the carpenter came in for the quote and then I could put a down payment. A month went by to get the carpenter in (due to his availability) and I called immediately after the quote to proceed. At that time, I was told the dates were given away because I hadn’t placed the down payment. I’m disappointed in this company’s lack of ability to keep their word and coordinate sub contracting in a timely fashion.
Tennis Field: We purchased dark chocolate with a touch of gray color hardwood floors from Douglas Flooring. Sharon was sweet, informative and respectful of our budget. We love every aspect of our selection. Our whole experience was positive. Everyone we encountered from the estimator and finished work inspector to the delivery person and the hardwood installer was excellent at what they did.If you're in the market for hardwood floors, go to Douglas Flooring.
