Never seen anyone in the place except for husband and wife. Now kids are in the building which is great! I think they are finally trying to stay home and relax!. Yes u deserve it!. Since the kids have been there the food has tasted different. But the service has been excellent! But the quality has gone a bit down hill.. Kay Zula: I heard good things, so I stopped by with my partner for a nice meal out. The place is nice looking (although it needs a dusting in the dining room) and the food was, well, REALLY good. Lots of great flavor and taste - yum!However, the thing that stood out to me the most is that there's no music or anything... Instead they have some enormous TV in the dining room blaring the news. Loudly. You know what I don't want to hear when I'm trying to have a rare meal out with my partner? The news talking about horrible tragedies and the economy tanking and people getting hurt and lying politicians.So we asked if we could not listen to the news and maybe have something else so they just... Turned off the audio. So it was dead silent and you could hear every conversation clearly.It was weird and awkward. There's plenty of decent Chinese food in the area so I'm not sure why you'd go to this place versus others when the atmosphere was so bad. We probably won't be back for a long time if at all.

Ryan: Food is average. Service is below average. Take-out and delivery only, no dining in. If they don't want to serve you for some reason and you are paying with a card, the transaction will return message "disabled". My order was simple and I was polite. The person at the counter embarrassed me in front of coworkers. There are better restaurants within walking distance. So, I walked one block to a different place and had a very pleasant lunch.

I thought the cost was very fair for the amount of food we got and the food was Very Good. Great tasting. Rangoons were perfect, everything was good. FLORENCE Chiapulis: The food is the best. We order from them all the time. Last time, I ordered food, I used my credit card, and a few days later, someone withdrew $130.00 from Atwood Bar in Cambridge mass. Happy house was the last place I used my card, so….. I will never use a credit card again, when paying for food there. It’s too bad that they are getting a reputation for stealing credit card numbers, because the food is the best.

A little pricey on some things, but, quality of food is worth every penny. Great spot to get a treat every once in a while. Highly recommend the shrimp with broccoli and egg foo young. Absolutely delicious. The broccoli was still a little crunchy, proving that it was fresh. And the egg foo young has the traditional CREAMY brown gravy that I have been searching for ever since I moved to Worcester. We will be coming here again.Vegetarian options: They have a whole section of their menu for vegetarian recipes. Dietary restrictions: They have options on their menu that allow you to get a main course without any form of starch, and, healthy sections (steamed main course) for people who might not be able to have sauces for whatever reason.

Jon Webster: Vegetarian options: In general the food we received from take-out was terrible!!! The Crab Rangoon's were very commercial in flavor (too sweet) and consistency (too smooth with no pieces of anything in it.) The wrapper for the Rangoon was pre-made commercial junk. The dumplings were 80% dough, and the vegetable delight did not appear very fresh!!! The duck sauce and hot mustard were packaged in small plastic throw away wrappers and tasted terrible also! The place we usually go was not answering their phone so we took a chance. We will never go to the Red Pepper again.

I was the first customer of the day, however.I would give a five star but my meal, though delicious, was pretty basic with just meat and onions. Vegetables would make it feel more complete. Our waiter was very attentive and we really appreciated that. The hot and sour soup was DELICIOUS! We enjoyed the scallion pancakes. My husband had the Hunan Chicken and he was delighted by its flavor and spice level. I had the Beef with scallions, ginger and garlic and loved it. Katherine Qualls: The skinny: One of the best authentic sichuan places you can find in the Boston area.Overall was very impressed by this spot - it sits unassumingly in Worcester away from the hustle and bustle of Boston or Chinatown. But if you're ever in the area and craving chinese food I'd recommend you come here. We ordered a few dishes to share: Dry Braised Pork Intestine w Spicy Sauce in Hot Pot, cumin lamb, tendons in chili, wontons spicy and the sliced fish tofu with spicy sichuan pepper. The favorites were the fish and the tendons - perfect mala spice - just enough to taste the different flavors - without overpowering the dish. Would definitely recommend these. Everything else was absolutely delicious as well. Cumin lamb had a great spice balance and came in a large portion. Wontons spicy were the only item that I was not super impressed by - solid but was flavors were bland compared to our other dishes and a little less juicy than I would have liked.Would I come back: Yes - this will be my go to place for authentic sichuan food when I'm in the area.
