Acoustic Java Roastery & Tasting Room: what do users think?
Bill Keefe: Pulled off the highway on my way to MA after googling "best espresso in Worcester". Haven't tried the others but this place was well worth the detour! The cafe itself is really well-designed, warm, comfortable...great vibe. Service was first class and the espresso was really delicious. Wound up buying the beans, as well.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ace Rothstein: Best coffee I’ve ever had …
Eliana Jreije: I usually really enjoy the coffee here but the service today was disappointing. Aside from the uncomfortable fake kindness of the barista, they got my coffee order completely wrong, which is fine, we all make mistakes. But I paid $8 for an avocado toast and got… this? Come on y’all.
Tamera Drozd: Wonderful coffee roaster tucked back in a historic building. They offer a variety of house roasted coffee beans (Mexico and Sumatra Gayo are my personal favorites).I had the opportunity today to also enjoy a latte and coffee crumble (cinnamon) muffin - both of which were quite good.As I spent the day working in their spacious side room, I also enjoyed lunch of a Turkey cheddar sandwich which was served on a hearty rustic bread perfectly toasted. A hot cup of lemon ginger tea and, later, Egyptian spearmint tea, rounded out my culinary visit! Will surely return!
Dan Phipps: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Ksenia Kolieva: Delicious coffee and great selection of beans to buy for home. I also tried seasonal special maple latte - yum! And lox bagel was incredibleRecommended dishes Pour over Java …More
Scott Rieder: Very, very poor service. Walked out before ordering. Barista never acknowledge us and he wasn't busy. He didn't even look at us while he prepared a pour over right in front of us. Then he helped the one customer that came in after us and still didn't look at us. We decided 10 minutes was enough time to waste in here.Service: 1/5 …More
Marc Williams: Always a great coffeeFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Jadira B: Ordered the Peppermint Patty and Olive bread with whipped feta. It was delicious and I'm not even a fan of olives. The latte was perfect not overly sweet or minty.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Mario Whyte: You will not be disappointed here! Good, friendly service, hot chocolate is real hot, seating is good and the location, location, location is spot on!Parking: Good parking, just plan ahead on really busy days because that front parking lot will get pretty crowded.
J B: Roasted bean quality, selection, and freshness are all lacking. For calling themselves a “roaster” I was unpleasantly surprised by how little roasting they do. They have a table packed with a large variety of roasted beans. When I visited, many of these bags were over a month old and should have been tossed long ago.The Largo Espresso is an utter disaster. It’s oily and severely over roasted. 20 grams of ground Largo producing 30 grams in 30 seconds yielded a sour and acidic shot. On a positive note if you’ve been avoiding a full breakdown and cleaning of your grinder running this trash through will force your hand. They do offer another espresso blend but I wasn’t brave enough to try it as it was dated July and I was there in September.
Kim Kleine: Our favorite coffee in Massachusetts. Skip the baked goods and get a freshly made breakfast sammy.
Will Adams (TheWAdams): Great coffee and a super pleasant environment for working. Their large size is definitely large! Good value for the dollar at modern cafe prices. Awesome spot in Worcester.
Lily Montagna: I love this cafe! It has very much of a local, sustainable vibe to it. The staff are all very friendly, and the food and drink are delicious. There is a large space with books lining the walls through a set of doors from the drinks bar where you can get a quiet spot to do work or read. This is my go to coffee shop to get work done or for a little self care time.
Mary Ellen Woodside: Great coffee and nice selection of vegan cookies and muffins.
Raegen Harrold: As someone who is a coffee fanatic I always look for some good cafes. I found the acoustic Java located near the college and ended up finding this one after my fiancé got her hair done which is located in the same building. The coffee is SO good. The customer service is 10/10. They know your name, they converse and are always so nice. The food is also really good. If I could give this place more stars I would cause it is the best coffee in Worcester perhaps even Massachusetts.
Viena Bien: I visited Acoustic Java on a Monday afternoon which may explain my terrible experience there. It was completely empty when I came and started to look at their extensive menu and atmosphere. A few regulars came in and while I waited in line…and waited because chitchatting with regulars seemed like a priority. Then I asked some standard questions for which I got some vague passive aggressive answers and when I asked about what’s in a sandwich the barista just pulled out a menu and turned around to chat with regulars. No explanation, no recommendations, no small talk, less than subpar customer service. Then another barista proceeded to take an order from a person behind me in line at which point I just felt like a burden and left. The book selection was one you’d find at second hand stores, the art seemed overpriced, and the tea was hidden in a corner where they tried to sell you more overpriced things like shirts and bags. The chairs are all hard top so you won’t be comfortable here. But the music was good though!
Stephen Sycks: As great as this is, buy a pound of local coffee...get a free any size coffee! So worth it.
Emma Martin: This place is so cute and always good. The coffee and pastries are delicious. The employees here are very nice too. I went recently and had the most exemplary customer service from an employee named Kiernan. I was there with three young children and he made sure to underheat their hot chocolate. He also held the door for me coming in and carried my drinks out to my car for me. Go here for great coffee, atmosphere, and service.
M R: Really good coffee and a nice place to chill. Will definitely return when going through the area again.Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: Yes Takeout: Yes …More
emma leahy: Very nice atmosphere very kind and friendly staff

Raphaela Zaruha: My favorite local coffee shop in Worcester! The service and atmosphere is amazing, I love coming here to read or catch up on work. The cold brew is my go-to and the sandwich with melted Brie and fig and pesto jam is the BEST!!! Adore this place so much.
Carlos Curramba: I traveled to Worcester Ma on business, and the Hotel's food, and hours of operation did not cater to my needs. A few yards from where i stayed was Fuel America which is a franchise. Nice, cozy, kind of a relaxed atmosphere. People sit with their laptops by themselves, or friends. It's like a coffee shop on steroids because of all the delicious, healthy, vegan/protein options it offers. The place was clean, well decorated. Staff was attentive, professional including the owner who was very pleasant, and approachable. Everything is prepared fresh, and it can take a few minutes to be prepared, and it is worth the wait. I tried the Acai bowl with a blast of peanut butter, tasty, delicious, filled with fruits, layered with coconut, peanut butter, and at the bottom the Acai. It that was heaven I'd like to go there. I also ordered an avocado whole wheat toast. It's like you went on a treasure hunt, since the toast was hidden in between layers of green, and once i discovered it i hit gold!!... a single egg lied on a single toast layered with sliced avocados, delicate, fresh, delicious with a touch lemon/vinagrette... some items are a bit pricey, and I'll come back again. My overall experience was fantastic, especially the customer service one. I rate my experience a 4.7.

New Tradition Co: what do users think?
Laurel Banach: Excellent source of caffeine.Parking: Lot parking attached to location.
Anton Ego: In the sordid world of urban eateries, where bland, insipid cuisine frequently masquerades as gastronomic innovation, there emerges an indomitable bastion of culinary brilliance—New Tradition. As a critic with a particular penchant for the finer aspects of culinary pleasure, I entered the establishment with a discerning eye, expecting the motorcycle motif to be a mere whimsical backdrop. Instead, I discovered a symbiosis of chic design and vegan perfection that tickled my senses like an impeccably crafted sonnet. The ingenuity of their creations, such as the sausage egg and cheese empanada and the engine-revving coffee, were tantamount to an edible symphony. I, Anton Ego, declare with confidence that New Tradition is not merely a vegan café. It is a dazzling celebration of culinary artistry, a place where each bite is an ode to those who defy mediocrity and revel in the essence of delectable sustenance.I will be returning to New Tradition soon, hungry for more!
Joe Hart: good vibes
david petrelli: Great Vibe
Jarvis Chen: Adorable cafe with great coffee, tea, and snack options. Great place to just hang out or do work. Wonderful staff. Dog-friendly!
Patricia Pikura: Favorite coffee shop in the Worcester area. Great atmosphere, great people, and always give our dog a pup cup!
Patrick Swayze: Best coffee in the city. Cool little compound of things. Good baked goods. Friendly staff. Owner is a nice guy and I appreciate him investing in the city.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ryan Punzalan: New Tradition is a lovely coffeeshop with a great vibe for socializing, catching up on some work, or just casually waiting for dogs to stroll through! They often have creative and in-house made Pop Tarts while sporting your standard spread of delicious coffee options.I actually came across this spot accidentally after trying to find a barbershop in town. Little did I know that Heartland Barber was tucked away inside of New Tradition! The best of both worlds if you're trying to fuel up on some caffeine while also needing to groom up.
Juliette Robinson: super cool decor and great drinks! really reasonably priced for a local coffee shop!
Damian Cote: Cool small coffee shop. Has a motorcycle theme. Barber inside.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Marc Pottier: So far this is the best espresso In Worcester, and we’ve tried quite a few. It’s got a nice west coast vibe with a great east coast biker twist.
Hassan Chehab: Prior to coming here, I didn't know that I needed Ginger Beer Espresso Soda in my life. Turns out, I was right, I don't. I gotta give them props for experimenting, but espresso soda is definitely not for me. They had homemade neapolitan pop tarts which were good. And the place looks and smells great, and the prices are good. Wish I had ordered a regular coffee though.Vegetarian options: It's a cafe with sweets
Andrew MacDonald: Best coffee and poptarts in Worcester! Highly recommend going at least once a month for a different poptart flavor
Alyssa Collins: Delicious homemade pop-tarts with new flavors every month! Such a comfy space to meet with friends or catch up on some work while drinking an amazing coffee!!
Peter Dwyer: Absolutely love this place for coffee, it is my self-care coffee shop in the city with an awesome aesthetic. Great coffee and great baristas. Only wish would be for more hours or open earlier, but it’s not a deal breaker by any means.
Cassandra: Really cool tucked away coffee shop with great cold brew.
Amy Lynn Chase: Good coffee, good people. A true Worcester gem.

Ace Rothstein: Quality coffee good food
Joe Baker II: Cool little place it's counter service so no wait staff which is fine. Also, one of the staff members was obnoxiously loud. Like I can tune out background noise but we were all subjected to her stance on mask wearing with another customer. Had myself their little "egg bowl" with kale, spinach, tomatoes, cheese (hold the cheese), and add bacon. It. Was. So. Good!!! But....more importantly, the service was amazing. Just outstanding. I was also very very impressed with the fact that if you pay w a card, they don't spin the screen for a "tip" option. I will always tip, and the better the service I receive, the better I tip. We paid with a card and tipped in cash, AMAZING food (that egg bowl!!! sooooo good), great coffee and OUTSTANDING service!

Acoustic Java: what do users think?
Ben: my dirty lil chai latte was great
Scott Brenham: I decided to stop back the latina girl seemed nice and conversational didn't get her name. After stopping back after a year I can see this coffee shop scheme has ran its course. Gluten free matcha strawberry muffin was horrible. Could not finish. All regular snacks are a thaw and bake. The coffee was low quality seemed generic. The owner David Fulerton would be better off selling his whole business to someone that would put more effort. I can see new development around clark university coming most of the businesses would end shutting down.
William Denson: Never ate there just go for the coffee if you like strong coffee this is your place and they have an awesome cold bro they grind their own beans thereService: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Mocha Latte …More
Petahwil: Peppermint Mocha Is CrazyFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Johann Hippensteele: Cute little pocket of a top notch coffee shop you wouldn't expect by the location and exterior. The coffee is amazing and I hope I'm not blowing up a secret but the plain iced coffee has been an awesome drip of the high grade featured coffee every time I've been there.Parking: Side street to the left right after the shop.
David Williams: My first enjoyable specialty caffeinated beverage. I ordered the special, Spiced white mocha pumpkin hot latte. I took my first sip outside the shop in the morning sun and couldn’t believe my tastebuds. Telling myself that this was the best coffee drink I’ve ever had. I started to fantasize about trying to make it at home. I later realized that there was a major barrier to access because of the cost of a home espresso machine. So I returned to Acoustic Java two more times to taste this wonderful drink but both times they did not have milk or pumpkin flavor. I was greatly disappointed. This reminded me of the time my local mcdonald’s ran out of burger patties. Who goes to a coffee shop in the fall, expecting to order a pumpkin coffee? I think everyone does. Please bring back the pumpkin flavor, we are all waiting🤣Parking: Parking can be a pain, check the one way street across the way
Dayan Siri: Friendly staff and great coffee next to the university
Shravan Sivakumar: Great cafe. The finest coffee roasters in the area! The beans are freshly packed and ground. Among the best local beans you can get in the area.
Sharbani Banerjee: Quaint little town in Worcester (Massachusetts),serving excellent locally sourced coffee, fresh aroma intoxicating, friendly staff,an array of food options, books to sit back and relax ,just left me spell bound❤️
Mohamed Abulleif: Best coffee in Worcester. Too bad main st branch always closes
Hassan Chehab: I only go for breakfast dates and drip coffee. But the atmosphere is nice.
Asad Nayani: Cool place.
Taimur Sharwani: Unfortunately moved out of MA last year but I am blessed to get really fast shipping of their whole beans quickly here in TX. Love all of their blends.
J Randall: Great coffee!
Deanna Brunelle: Amazing coffee
Tim Cooley: This is the North store near Clark University. I've reviewed the southern one and they are both excellent. This one is smaller with a definite college vibe. Coffee was great, muffins were tasty, service was quick and friendly. Wi-Fi is solid and this is a good place to catch up on email, need, etc. Note, due to the size the tables are not large so their southern store would be better for a gathering of more than 3 people. Highly recommend!
Abraham: Good chai
Olivia Murray: really good food and coffee! a bit expensive, but I nice place to go in between classes at Clark University!
Random Stuff: Fast and pleasant service every time I come in. It doesn’t hurt that they easily have the best coffee in the city.
Mik Scheper: Absolutely love this place. Cosy, friendly staff, veg-friendly, so many options! and great smoothies and food. I really loved the panini I had. Definitely worth getting off the freeway for.
Carolyn Tillman: The coffee was so delicious, not too strong but also not too light, it was just right.

William Sparks: Great food, great drinks, clean location, conveniently located, and nice staff.Highly recommend their Cuban sandwich, and they make a fantastic cappuccino.
Justin Shaw: This place is special to me. It was the first coffee shop I visited when I moved here. And it's a Roastery! So that's cool too. The atmosphere is nice. Downtown makes it central to the Woo Town action! Parking is ok more often than not, but it's on the street (or in the underground garage), and not free (but is cheap for an hour or 2). So keep that in mind. I like the big windows and such. It's a nice place to catch up on work, or catch up with friends -- if that's your thing. The food is ok. The coffee drinks and smoothies are also just ok here at this location. I would like a little more inventiveness and risk-taking in the menu options. The toast is always good...but could use maybe some seasonal options. And the summer salad (fresh fruit, lettuce, and apple vinaigrette) is probably the best dish on the menu. Overall a nice place. Oh, except for accessibility -- the only way to enter the building is via steps, even with 2 doors. So that's not going to work for some people. So maybe it's mid. Not bad. Just ok.

Items are overpriced, the $10 breakfast sandwiches cant compete with frozen Jimmy Deans you get at Stop&Shop. Customer service people were borderline rude. Should’ve spent more money on the food and less on tacky metal chairs
Chris Gregoire: Great atmosphere. The coffee is pretty good, but I can't weigh in on the food, as I only had the coffee. The service was friendly and quick. The menu looks like it has some interesting things. Definitely a good place to hang out, read a book and sip an iced/hot beverage. I wish there was better parking, but that's downtown for you.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Caleb Hamilton: There isn’t many specialty coffee places in New England but this is a pretty good spot! With solid blends and tasty pour-overs they offer a great coffee shop experience. On top of that the manager gave me a small tour of their roasting area and they are very kind people! I recommend this place to anyone wanting to get more into coffee and the process that goes into making it so good! I also recommended this place on Facebook to a group I’m in of over 5k people. This place deserves more attention by the greater coffee community!
