Family Table: what do users think?
Eela Vargas: Well I eat there A LOT, AND I tip very well, I'm very polite, but for some reason I was rejected for a job there 3 times, I applied and asked them if I can have a job here, I got 3 emails telling me no, but I'm a usual customer there that always has the same meal, Chicken and waffles, so the question is WHY WONT YOU HIRE AN ELIGIBLE CUSTOMER WHO LOVES GOIN THERE, AND TIPS VERY WELL? makes me wonder should I keep goin there cause I know I make a waitress happy when I walk in that door, they know I'm polite, friendly, and a great tipper, anyway have a great day, I stil give u 4 stars, l

Holly Landry: Food was okay, if overpriced. $45+ for an omelet, corned beef hash (which was squishy and inedible, I told the waitress I didn't like it and she just went aww and removed it, but didn't remove it from the bill), a waffle, a coffee, and a milk.Waitress made it a point to see right through me even though I was sat centrally, and she passed me by every time she went between her 3-4 tops and the kitchen. Strange to be neglected by someone regularly 2 feet away from you, but whatever.Wouldn't recommend the place. There are much better diners with much better staff.
Ola Hassan: We had a very pleasant experience with the Family table. We were a huge group with alot kids and the staff was really nice and professional, the food was great and unexpectedly the food all came at the same time, hot and fresh. We will definitely repeat the experience

Dustin Johnston: I am now a grateful loyal regular since moving to Worcester. The atmosphere is amazing, the food trully is my favorite...the last time I had a string of bad experiences at other restaurants I came back to The Family Table to restore my restaurant faith 😂🤣.I have had at least 60-75% of the menu items, all hits.. but my repeats are the Triple Decker (turkey or tuna), the Steak and Eggs, the Rachel sandwich, the BLACKSTONE BENEDICT, and the Route 20 skillet. ❤️.The servers are amazing and the ownership always comes out to see how everything is going. Also there is live music on Sunday.mornings which always lifts my mood.

Kyle Fishwick: Regulars here. It's a great place to take your kids. Great food and great deals for kid meals $4. We always get mouse pancakes with chocolate chips or blueberry with smiles. Simple environment very friendly. Can call ahead to get on the list. Can be busy. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

J. Wagner: Friendly people, delicious breakfast menu. They have a bar as well.10 stars.
Tucker Olen: Great food and staff

Sonoma Restaurant: what do users think?
larry ciummo: Decent food and drinks in a nice atmosphere. Limited menu and menu is on the pricey side.Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Parking space Plenty of parking Parking options Free parking lot …More
Patricia Coz: Great menu, great drinks. Have not had a bad meal.
Elina Krit: This restaurant is one of the best, the staff was really friendly& the food was amazing& they were very helpful with diatery requirements.
Taylor Eloi: Sonoma has such a nice relaxing, high class feel. Gigi the manager is very accommodating and caring towards your needs. I tried the salmon dinner and it was amazing! Definitely a must try spot!!
Bobby OKeefe: This is not Sonoma of Princeton. This so called award winning resturant is stealing credit from Chef Bill Brady and his incredible Sonoma in Princeton. While it may be true that Brady sold Sonoma to the Beechwood it is only the same name not the same chef, service or food. If you want to try Chef Brady then check out his new place in Leominster, Bradys!
O M: Way understaffed so service is really slow. Waited a long time to get seated. The food presentation was awesome and the ambiance is quite fancy. The taste was okay but the flavors didn't always match. The chicken shawarma is not really a shawarma because it's not cut and definitely not hung -- it's just whole chicken parts.Parking: A ton of parking because it's part of a hotel.
Zachary Paquette: Had a wonderful experience and the food was amazing. The waitresses name was Chantelle she made the whole thing with wonderful service and great recommendations I would highly recommend it
P Easy: Was looking forward to this place but totally not impressed. Arrived and got seated,... hostess just gave us wine menus not food menus, so that was the mediocre start to our Saturday night. We ordered the mussels for an appetizer but apparently they were out of mussels. Our drinks were fine, I enjoyed the local beer draft. My wife ordered the Filet Mignot which was delicious, I ordered the Lobster scampi (40 bucks) which was VERY disappointing. When they placed the bowl down there was a slight watery reddish pool at the bottom of the bowl from the tomatoes. The pasta was not even flavorful and there was about 1 claw of lobster meat in the whole dish. No creamy sauce that a normal scampi would have. To top it off their debit/credit card machine was out of service when trying to pay the bill. I was completely disappointed in this place
Barbara O'Neal: Great food and atmosphere at a classic hotel.
Justin Drake: I will say the waitstaff was great. That being said I'll echo a lot of the sentiments here. Sonoma was one incredible... but as of late more of a disappointment. The lobster ravioli was served as a broth and the filet was meh. Considering what they once were and the price, truly sad
Francis Soyer: Anyone/Everyone that likes fine dining should check out Sonoma at the Beechwood Hotel.I see some of the critical reviews below that were based on COVID shutdown and staff shortages etc., BUT things have changed drastically here for the good. Sonoma has reopened and the new Chef John is EXCELLENT and the menu is absolutely FNATASTIC. Very creative and imaginative. Gigi the manager is also excellent. They are the new team there now, and deserve and award for what they've done.I've eaten at some of the best restaurants in the world (Paris, Rome etc.) - but I will say the new Chef John and the menu he created are as good as it gets. The creativity, imagination in the menu items/choices John has created is simply top notch. The prices are very fair/reasonable (esp now w/inflation).We've been going here for 20+ years and this is by far the best menu and dining experience we've ever had at Sonoma. The food and menu items show a lot of originality and artistry that you typically don't see except in highest end restaurants in some of the big cities - and they still wouldn't match Sonomas menu.Everything we had was excellent. You can't beat this place now.p.s. we have no connection to the staff etc. - and normally I would not go out of my way to do a review like this, except this place (and the turnaround) was simply that good. What a great surprise.
Marco Spataro: Sonoma is a shell of its former self. The pandemic really transformed this restaurant. What was once a premier Worcester eatery has turned into an overpriced rip-off.Despite the other negative reviews and my own recent negative experiences, I had so many wonderful experiences at Sonoma in the past that I was willing to give it another chance. I was once again greeted by the obnoxious sign that begs your patience in light of "staff shortages caused by the pandemic" - an excuse that you may be waiting upwards of 10-15 minutes just to be seated. Thankfully, this wasn't the case for me. I had a nice server and she did a nice job being attentive throughout my lunch, though the restaurant wasn't near full capacity. My first course was the Tuna app with white noodles set at market price and pictured below. The dish was average at best, and contained very very little tuna. The white noodles at the bottom of the plate where hard as a rock and tasted like something you find in the microwave aisle. However, when I got the check, I was absolutely mortified at the price of this dish - $28. This is a laughable price given the proximity of Sonoma to the Sole Proprietor, who sets their comparable tuna dishes far lower. For reference, I have included a picture of the tuna app I ordered at the Sole Proprietor which was less than half the price with nearly double the tuna. I understand that when something is set at market price, you are entering a territory where prices can vary from week to week. I suppose I should have asked just to clarify. Nevertheless, for $28, I at least expected the dish to be prepared with some finesse, and not box noodles.I also ordered a chicken Caesar salad which was just ok. Nothing to be too excited about. The entire bill after tip came to well over $50. I would be happy to pay this price if the overall experience was elegant and refined. It was not. While Sonoma seems to be working on the courtesy of their staff, the quality and quantity of their food has really gone downhill. I will not be returning to Sonoma - look to the Sole Proprietor, Willy's Steakhouse, or Leo's for a fine dining experience.
Jaime Melendez: Super dark place , we don not try the food , there was not much option at the time we went , we couldn’t see the menu so we left
Ciera Guertin: Had the pleasure of Adam as our server, and he was wonderful! The food was delicious AND we got a desert on the house for the wait on the entree. The atmosphere and staff definitely made this experience 10/10. We will be back again. Thank you!
ian hickey: Breakfast was pretty bad. The coffee was Luke warm. The American Breakfast for $22 was terrible. With so many diners serving a passable American breakfast, if you're not even that good, don't bother. Menu said fresh preserves. It's plastic packets of Smuckers. Ripoff. Hard pass.
Liam Dempsey: Ruined Mother's Day. Sonoma is a sad, embarrassing shell of its former self. We made a reservation for breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day but a reservation was not necessary since we were told we could sit at any of the available dirty, unbussed tables. After ten minutes we were "greeted" by an annoyed waitress who told us that we had to wait for her to take orders from two other tables then walked away. Didn't give us menus or offer coffee. We decided to leave. What was once an amazing restaurant is now a second-rate hotel restaurant better suited for a Holiday Inn Express than the Beechwood Hotel.
Tina Lorusso: EXCELLENT Service by Nicole.....and the food was outstanding.....
Maryann Carlos: I use to love this place. I celebrated many occasions here. My last experience was totally unacceptable. It was for my birthday December 2021. First my sister surprised me by paying for my meal. However, as I was finishing my wine waiting for the waitress to clarify the payment I glanced over and seen a mouse scurry right by me. I was mortified. My husband had to tell the waitress about the surprise payment because the Manager never communicated that to her. When she returned we told her about the mouse and she said she would get the Manager. No one ever came, we waited 15 minutes. I am so disappointed. Nothing was done about this and I will never celebrate there again.
D. Mulligan: Save your money. This restaurant is an overpriced embarrassment. Once upon a time, this location had a fantastic restaurant called Ceres where the high prices felt justified. Then Ceres closed and the famed Sonoma of Princeton, MA moved in. And things went steadily downhill. We’ve now visited twice and I doubt we ever will again. The first time the menu itself was underwhelming but we chalked that up to pandemic times, as the food was well prepared and nicely plated. The second time the menu was even less exciting and the food not remotely worth the prices. To start, we ordered a Sonoma salad. For $12, we were served three cucumber slices, one and a half cherry tomatoes, a few slivers of red onion, and a pathetically small handful of spring mix, much of which was wilted and unappetizing. For entrees, my husband had swordfish and I had halibut. All the fish was over cooked and the accompanying sides stingy. At over $30 a plate, we were appalled by the poor preparation and skimpy portions. The best thing on either of our plate was the quinoa with my fish, which was fluffy and pleasant in texture and although totally void of any seasoning whatsoever. Nonetheless, it being a special occasion, we ordered dessert: a decaf cappuccino and a crème brule. The coffee with delightful. The dessert was awful. The top wasn’t a crisp brûlée crust, more of a soggy skin, and the custard was lumpy. It was topped with sad wilted blueberries and—I do not kid—cool whip. And it cost $11. All told, with some wine, our meal cost nearly $150 before tip. If it cost half, I’d say, oh well, that wasn’t great. But at $150, I felt like I’d been scammed. There are dozens of better places in Worcester. Skip this one.
Holly Biedugnis: Awesome food and service!
Sandra Stafford: Went to celebrate our 51st anniversary…was pleased when the online reservation asked if we were celebrating anything…thought that it would be nice if they mentioned it to us. Nope not a word. They were out of two items we wanted on the menu (even though the restaurant was less than 1/4 filled). I ordered a margarita with sugar vs salt on rim…drink came with salt! I ordered a Filet, my husband Rigatoni…and a half bottle of wine. My steak arrived sans steak knife. It took at least 10 minutes before my steak knife arrived. Meanwhile, my husband had eaten most of his meal…and we had not been served our wine. We were both basically finished with our meals before the dinner wine arrived. The server quickly poured the wine without letting us taste it and left. The wine (a Cabernet) was undrinkable…had a strong metallic acid taste/bouquet. Bottom line: food was good but over-priced, service was woefully inadequate…they did not charge us for the wine.

Stacey B: If you want to go to this place you gotta really plan it because it's a very slow moving operation. Like forever. But the food is so worth it. Can't wait to go back.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Avana Cantor: Delicious! Let me preface my review with I just moved back to the Massachusetts area after living in Georgia so you can imagine I’ve had some soul food!! This food here? Better than all that! It’s delicious, flavors on point, great portions, but most importantly to me it’s clean. It is not greasy. I ordered several pans of food to feed friends and we had so much food left over. I highly recommend! Again a big thank you to the owners for representing black businesses so well.
tien v: Food was good but waited over an hour for the food :(.
Adriann Anderson: We wanted to give more stars, but just disappointed with the lack of parking space close to the bldg., the sides portions, lack of dessert availability @ 5pm, etc. The fried chicken wings were good. Skip the mac & cheese, collards, & corn bread.Parking: Street parking is difficult to find.

Debra Bouyer: Always will be my favorite because of the History, Second Baptist Church. But the service is not as good as it used to be nor some of the dishes, sometimes over cooked or uncooked, THAT IS JUST MY OPTIONS, I'M JUST ONE PERSON. But I do recommend them.Food: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Plates, Fried Chicken Yellow Rice Mac and Cheese and Cornbread, Mac N Cheese and Cornbread, Quarter Thighs, Fried Chicken Yellow Rice Macaroni and Cheese and Cornbread, Corn Bread …More

eetu o_O: After hearing about this restaurant for a very long time, I eventually gave it a try. IT'S AMAZING. The fried chicken had a decent serving and was delightfully crispy.
Devin Ball: Best authentic soul food in Worcester! We got the ribs (both pork and beef) and it was absolutely delicious. The cornbread was on point too. They take their time cooking, so I suggest you order ahead to save on time.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Ana Heermann: IT'S AMAZING. The fried chicken had a decent serving and was delightfully crispy. I selected the homestyle dish, which included a nice-sized drumstick and thigh along with the delectable dark meat. I will surely return at a later date.
Daniel Davies: The only time they may disappoint is when they sell out of some of their best meats. This time I just got a normal play with rice, chicken and mac & cheese, and I was very satisfied with the portion size and price.
Ewanna L: My food was really good I was disappointed that they didn't have potato saladParking: Hard to find parking
James Hooks: It's a little timely at times but worth it.
cathleen marsh: First time visiting. Everything on my plate was amazing. We had the chicken wings, mac and cheese and corn bread. Food was served a short time after ordering. It was hot and delicious.definitely going back
Amadeus: I finally tried this place for the first time after hearing about it for forever. IT'S SO GOOD. The fried chicken was perfectly crispy and a great portion. I got the homestyle plate with the delicious dark meat, with a nice sized drum stick and thigh. I got the large size which comes with 2 sides, I went with the mac and cheese and collard greens. However, it also comes with cornbread and rice and the rice is AWESOME. It's so flavorful and was cooked well - not too mushy, not too hard. If you're balling on a budget and can only get the basic plate with the rice your tummy still be happy for sure.
Erik G: This place is a small establishment but the food has big flavor. I got tangy sauced chicken and it was crisp, juicy and had real good bite without being overpowering. As with everything, staffing was short so the food took a while to come out but it was obviously made to order. Great experience and if I lived closer it would be a monthly stop
Alishia Pointer: I purchased the catfish dinner and was not disappointed. The fish was fresh and hot while the sides (greens, mac & potato salad) made it over the top. Definitely great food and service.

Adam Mickey: Pretty much the perfect classic American dinner experience, with some more interesting and modern dishes that make it fun.You still get the classic paper mat and diner mug covered in ads for local businesses and huge breakfast plates covering all the classic dinner offerings. There are also a bunch of interesting new takes on dinner classics that don't feel out of place but really make it better than just your average dinner. All this while the staff are talking to patrons by name, being genuinely kind and offering great treatment to regulars and new visitors alike. They even still add up the tabs with a calculator at the dinner bar just like they did when I was young.Overall probably the best dinner/breakfast I have found in Worcester. Highly recommend, but get there early it fills up quick!Kid-friendliness: They were great with us having our almost two year old here, and everyone was super nice to him and us. Luckily he is very well behaved and not messy for his age so it's fairly easy to take him to restaurants.
Dana Black: The best of the best. Amazing home made hash, don't miss it. And their gyro..... awesome.ONLY downside is capacity and larger parties. But worth waiting for them to arrange.
