He takes his time to understand and hear what is troubling you, what your experience is like, and then provide you with a treatment plan. All the while being kind, caring and personable.

Charles R Basin: Impossibly difficult to get the results of my biopsies. Their phone is always busy or redirected to an answering service who never picks up. Exasperating, to say the least. I still don't have my results three weeks after the procedure.

Crazie Beautiful: Dr. Kim is fantastic! My last GI went to another hospital and I have struggled to find another good one. Dr Kim is hands down the BEST of the 7 I have seen in the last 10 years. He is always on time for appointments. Does his own follow up calls after procedures and his knowledge is incredible! I have suffered with GERD and Schatzki rings for 8 years, requiring an upper endo every 6 months with dilation. Receiving little to no relief. 1 visit and 1 procedure with Kim and I have 100% relief!!

Amie Gaudier: Dr. Kim and Dr. O'Callahan are both Fabulous Doctors. I've been seen several times, unfortunately, due to my health issues. However, I always leave with a smile on my face knowing that I'm getting the best care I can. I always get a call back in a timely manner and I've Never waited over 15 minutes to be seen. In fact, for my first appt they scheduled me on a day the Dr. normally wasn't in. What Dr. do you know that will come in on his time off just to see some patients who need to be seen ASAP? I find the staff to be helpful but more importantly Caring. There are racks of pamphlets in both exam rooms that I, myself, have found very useful at times when I've forgotten to ask a question. Although I can call anytime for answers. This office in always Clean and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND them!

SarahRose G: Do not recommend. Dr. Kim. He didn't appear to be taking my claim seriously. He didn't seem to understand that the only reason I feel better is because of the prescription I am on. When I mentioned that, he asked if I wanted to be put on a stronger dose (not what I want- want to get off meds as soon as possible). I was pushed out the door so quickly I didn't get a chance to ask any of the few questions I had. I was a scheduled for a brief procedure and given no information about it. The severity of it highly exceeded my expectations. Following the procedure, there was no follow up and no diagnosis (as written on the discharge papers). The visit summary had my symptoms listed incorrectly and a diagnosis which I had not heard. I was given no information on the diagnosis. It appears that some information was shared with my primary care (which makes sense); however when my primary called to check on me, they referred to a diagnosis different from all other visits.Lastly, office was very inconsiderate of patient time. Due to my schedule, I have access to my phone at irregular times. They gave me a 2hr window to give my medical history (I was unable to do so) and woke me up for a follow up call.

Maryann Allison: I was a patient of Dr. Mehta over ten years ago. I stopped going cause I was feeling better and my prescription ran out. I had called the office for 2 weeks no call back what so ever. So going on 2 years this December I had to go back to seeing him again. Well had to go for a procedure and my PCP used a different GI doctor. So the office let me go as a patient. I cannot believe that a doctor that is suppose to care could do this. The office manager which is his wife is rude and non caring as well.This happened because on one little mistake. All they care about is if the insurance is going to pay for it. Rich Speranza: I saw Dr Mehta for appointments at his office and for procedures at another location, I found him to be caring, knowledgeable and compassionate. The office staff couldn’t have been more helpful. I was being seen for a couple different reasons and required a lot f communication with his office and not once did anything get missed or fall through the cracks. Dr Mehta has a style that can be humorous at times which was great, however when it came to business he tells you like it is with no sugar coating or beating around the bush. I recommend him.

Charlotte Wojtaszek: incompetent office staff. The secretary made an appointment for me to see Dr. Mehta before a procedure. The secretary called me about a week later and cancelled the appointment saying they can't accept my insurance. I have BC BS...stupid or what?

Katrina Ackermann: Dr Mehta is a smart, knowledgeable and thorough doctor. I went and had labs done and the lab tech said "don't ever leave this doctor " that's because in the 23 years she has been a lab tech she has never seen an extensive set of tests. I like his straight to the point, no sugar coating technique of communication with me. I would highly recomend him to any and all looking for a great doctor.

DayByeDayChristine “Christine”: He did save my life as well about 10 yrs ago and I did have a good experience at least 10 yrs or so ago. But the way he conducts himself now and the way he tried to place the blame of the incompetence of his staff and fellow people that were working with me at the hospital (that were part of his team) on me was the last straw. I had a very unpleasant experience and I didn't feel comfortable or safe with them and the operation because they didn't take my own feelings into account; even though I told them several times that I was afraid and ____ was the reason why before and after the surgery. But he didn't care how it made me feel or how I felt after the operation. I said I didn't want to work with him and called the office to explain what exactly happened during the operation and I was told that I was no longer a patient and again my feelings were not ok or acceptable to have apparently; and I couldn't even explain my side. So no I wouldn't recommend him now to anyone that has had PTSD or any kind of psychiatric diagnosis of any kind. Dr. Mehta, is a good doctor in the way, he's always learning, but I think they need sensitivity training more than anything.

Joann Lyon: I am writing this letter in behalf of my sister Penny Swanson.My Family and I have never experienced anything like this before at a professional Medical practice.My sister has been a patient of Dr. Mehta, for approximately a year now. With that being said, Dr. Mehta was highly recommened by her PCP.She has never been so disappointed and disgusted with the care that she has received from his office staff. She has spoken to Laura and Darlene several times on the phone, and yet she has never been treated so poorly.She had a cat scan obtained and when she reached out to Laura and Darlene for the results, (with no call what so ever from Dr Mehta, about her results), they gave her a hard time. Laura's response to her was, "maybe you should look for another physician to care for you if you don't t like it here". This type of remark isn't only unethical it is very unprofessional.We are still uncertain if Dr. Mehta is getting any of his messages.This will be followed up be a registered letter to Dr. Mehta and the Medical Board of review. We are speaking about people's health here.My Sister has been sick for a long time.We looked at the previous reviews and there was another similar situation with Laura. Why does she still have her job?

S. M.: My first visit I saw Dr McCann. I really liked her and she made me feel very comfortable. She ordered a couple of tests to start the process of trying to figure out the cause of my issues. When I called to schedule a follow up appointment to go over the test results it took me 2 weeks to get someone to schedule an appointment for me. The first two times I called I was told that someone would be calling me back to schedule. Nobody ever called. So I called a third time and I was informed that I was going to have to schedule with a different doctor because Dr McCann retired! I was never told that this doctor would not be permanent. I don't know why they would schedule a new patient to see a doctor that was not going to be around for more than the first appointment. I am frustrated with this. It's not easy to find a doctor you can feel comfortable with discussing these sensitive topics. And now I have to start all over again.

SibeMom18: Dr. David Macmanus has been taking great thoughtful care of my A Fib for the last year. The Dr. has expertly put me on a good treatment to keep me safe. The doctor & his team has expertly got me through my 1st Ablation! I am one of the 15% that needs a round 2! The good doctor said an excellent way forward is for me to see one of his colleagues Dr. Walker to have a maze ablation done to get this conquered! I highly recommend them for the help in your A fib needs!
