He was extremely thorough in explaining the possible diagnoses and whether it would be worth it to fix our machine.We agreed to have him come out and he discovered that the motor shaft and coupling were shot. Once again, he gave us a detailed rundown of what was wrong, the costs to repair vs. replace, which models would be suitable for us, and why certain makes & models are superior.Jamie was incredibly nice and professional. After submitting a work request and speaking over the phone, Jamie was able to show up very quickly. Turns out the dryer door switch was faulty which he was able to swiftly diagnose and replace. His extensive experience and having the replacement parts ready for use saved us a lot of time. James Dean: I have been calling there to place a service call for a local restaurant. We also work very closely with other restaurants in the area. It rang and rang for two days with no answer. They finally answered with a RUDE hello today and when I asked if this was S&S Equipment was told NO and hung up on. You may have been in business for several years, but you won't continue with that attitude. Unbelievable.

Michael Moran: I had this company come in to look at my oven and my washing machine. He looked at the oven and took pictures and sent them to his boss. He told me there was nothing that could be done about the oven. Then he looked at the clothes washer and again called his boss and told me that the suspension was broken and it needed bushings.He installed bushings (I suppose) but did not test it for function.Charged us 513 dollars. The bill included $90 each for two housecalls and $314 for the bushings installed. None of this worked. The washing machine still would not spin after he left.Subsequently had another company in who troubleshot the machine and determined that it was a capacitor in the control board that was causing the machine to only rotate one way.That person told me that she suspension was not corrected and the parts that went in would’ve cost (installed) less than half of what was charged.It is my conviction that the technician was incompetent.
