Marsha Hovenesian: I was having a gas hot water tank replaced. The old tank had a 10-year warranty; and at 9 1/2 years it let go. They told me it was still warrantied and they replaced it. I did have to pay for the labor but it was significantly less than what I would have paid otherwise. They came when they said they were coming. The only issue I might have had was replacing a tank is now a two-man job and the tank broke over the weekend and they weren't able to get a second individual to help with the job on Sunday. This meant my tenants have to go without hot water for an extra day. But otherwise, everything was great!

I sent a photo to them of our current water heater.8:15 AM. received call back from Garabedian telling us they had a quality water heater in stock and would come by same day to install.10 AM Garabedian arrives , removes the old water heater and install new one. This is not easy- some new exhaust pipes installed to meet current code, getting permit and inspection from City of Worcester. I asked for addition of drip pan.2 PM Zach and Kyle install new water heater and 1/2 hour later the water is hot. My wife is very happy-which makes me happy.Invoice is very reasonable for a quality AO Smith water heater with 6 year warranty. Workmanship on installation looks first rate.Garabedian Plumbing was recommended to me by my neighbors and they gave me great advice. Tacori Tai: Do not use Garabedian. ZERO STARS! They are not thorough and Cindy is THE RUDEST person at this company. I don't know if she's the owners family member but you need to get her out of your office. She constantly gaslighted me during our phone conversation (yell-fest) and refused to allow me to express my thoughts and stance. She kept speaking over me and twisting my comments to suit her needs. Initially, I'd been a customer for Garabedian for a few years. I always dealt with techs like Zach or Jimmy (both of whom I enjoyed working with). I never had to deal with back office initially. This January 2022 I had a no heat call placed. It's April now and I still have no heat. I had 5 visits from Garabedian techs and they haven't fixed my issues (single family home, forced hot air from oil).Service:Heating system repair

Aloyah Isa: After very negative and stressful experience with Dumas Plumbing, I really welcomed and appreciated Al's professionalism, friendliness and overall sense of human decency. He took care of the washer clogging and looked at a couple of other small issues I had. He pointed out that the flush lever the Dumas guy installed was not the right one. No wonder I had to manually lift it after every flush or water would continuously run. Dumas guy also did not replace flapper, which I'd told him to do. The on call person called us back and said he would be over after he finished 2 more jobs. Hours and hours passed without word. I called the answering service again requesting that the on call person let us know an approximate time frame in which we could expect him. Answering service told me that if I didn't hear from the on call person within 30-40 to call back. I waited an hour and called back. Answering service sent a message to on call person yet again, asking them to call or text us with a timeframe. No response at all from the on call person. Received a call the following morning and at that point we had already found a much more reliable company to come out and fix our issue.

On top of the bad customer service (by the owner) I received a bill for $125 just for coming out. When they fixed the pipe that caused all of this in the first place I was charged $154 ( cost of the cap they replaced was $4) was outright told the original time that they had to up the price due to demand.

Maria Harrington: We put an addition on to our home and Jack Dumas was the plumber who did all the plumbing. There were some plumbing issues with his poor workmanship and when called to come back and fix it he became very rude and unprofessional and stated he would not be coming back to fix the problems. I would never recommend his services based on poor work and because he conducts himself in a very rude and unprofessional manner.

So, I called and left a v-mail for him to call me back, so I can get an actual breakdown of the charges..... Long story short, he calls me back and before I can get a word in he says "I know what you are trying to do. OK !.... the price is what it is""" and than he just hung up on me! I don't like leaving reviews, let alone bad one, since I know how much it means in the service sector, but I could not overlook this guy's bad manner and his short temper. YOU DO NOT SPEAK TO A CUSTOMER LIKE THAT. and you DO NOT hang up on customer. Hope you treat your next customer better.

Heather Juhascik: We had an issue with our trap and needed a professional to get all the connections right. I called Jack and he was able to fit us in the following day. His son, Zach came to perform the work and was very courteous and knowledgeable. There was part we had installed that was leaking and he thought he was able to fix it but it ended up leaking a bit after he left. Jonathan Magsino: Vinny and Greg have been servicing my homes for many years. First in Millbury, where they replaced a leaky expansion tank, replaced 2 toilets, hooked up the new refrigerator to the water line, replaced a leaky kitchen sink over those 12 years. Now in Douglas, they replaced my hot water boiler and added an indirect hot water heater. This house had the original boiler from 21 years ago and was not keeping up with our hot water and heating demands. V&G plumbing installed a new Buderus boiler and an indirect hot water heater. John L.: Lost heat and called on a Sunday night around 7 pm. I received a called back very shortly after, discussed the issue and Greg told me he could have someone here at 7:30 the next morning. The techs arrived at 7 am and diagnosed the problem. I spoke with Greg who was very professional and discussed my options. They were able to replace my furnace with a new one the same day at an extremely fair price. The technicians were professional, friendly, very knowledgable and neat. A lot of pride went into the work that was done - something you don't see a lot these days. I have dealt with numerous companies over the years for plumbing and heating issues but have never found anyone I was confident or satisfied with that would be someone I could continue to call for issues that came up. But these guys do it all - I have them coming back next week for some plumbing issues I have. (My in laws called them several weeks ago and also had a good experience with them). Give them a call - I'm glad I did.

Brittany Vaughn: Had them come to our home for a plumbing/drain issue. Must have called at LEAST 3 times before they came out to verify they could indeed do the job and bring the correct equipment with them as other plumbers had said we need a drain company specifically. We were reassured that they have the right equipment and will bring it out with them & we agreed to the 2 hours min $ charge. However, once the 2 guys arrived, they only had a small snake which I had told them over the phone wasn't long enough (my husband already snaked the line with that length). After being here for maybe 30 mins they said they'd have to come back with the correct equipment for more $$. So essentially we gave them a couple hundred dollars to be here for 30 mins and they didn't bring the equipment they said they would initially. Would NOT recommend this company which is unfortunate as we like to stay local. We were called back after the service and I expressed our disappointment to which they responded we will let the owner know and get back to you which surprise...no one got back to us.

Jesse DiGioia: Had a plumbing issue. Called this company, guy was punctual, worked on a clogged sink for an hour or so. Left with pipe seemingly clear. The next morning I discovered the same issue. I called expecting a return visit since their invoice has a 30 day labor guarantee. Instead got a call basically saying they did all they could and I would need a new pipe. Called another plumber who came and worked on the clog for a couple hours and cleared it 100%. So, basically wasted $175 here. Might want to white-out that 30 day guarantee if you don't stand behind it.
