Refugee & Immigrant Assistance: what do users think?
Alex Lopatin: I called this refuge center to asked for help for my family from evacuated from Ukraine. A very rude front desk guy responded that they don't help Ukrainians and they don't have any recommendations for us. Very disappointing service. If you are a supervisor reading this, please reach out to me and I will gladly provide additional feedback.
David E.: If only Meg G. would return calls and respond to messages. As someone who hires in the area this is the one thing that made us not want to work with them.
M MI: Good hospitality

Girls Inc of Worcester: what do users think?
Mari McCoy: Let me be very clear, the reason this rating is one star is because you can not rate this establishment with 0 Which is what they truly deserve! My daughter attended summer camp this summer and repeatedly complained about the staff and the way she was treated! If you have a child that is of color DO NOT bring them to this establishment! I personally witnessed Allison James speak to staff of color in a demeaning tone as if they were incompetent. Allison James then proceeded to make jokes about the interaction with summer camp director Zachary Roy behind the front desk. My daughter did not return to camp for any additional weeks after witnessing this incident. Today my daughter and I saw one of her staff in the neighborhood. The staff member mentioned that they had been fired by Allison James and shared many other employees of color had been recently fired across multiple programs! Since my daughter has been apart of girls inc of Worcester we have seen high rates of turnover in staff of color! This needs to be evaluated on a national level. It was also shared with me that negative reviews are often removed from google. IF YOU HAVE A DAUGHTER OF COLOR DO NOT SEND THEM TO THIS PREJUDICE ESTABLISHMENT! ALLISON JAMES AND VICTORIA WATERMEN NEED TO BE REMOVED FROM THEIR POSITIONSThank
Eleazer Narh: Love girls inc and eureka for helping the girls finding their confidence
A T: They need to do better, I been trying to get my child into one of their programs which was advertised at my child's school, and when I reached Girls Inc of Worcester no body knows what to do, neither return my calls, if this is the way they handle business I wouldn't even trust sending my kid there.
Jerry Kenneth Heard (JARROCK): I see a very fun place for girls. When waiting for a bus, I see them really enjoying the program's out door's.
Ava Nwosu: I’ve been to this place since 3rd grade for after school program. I hated this place bc the staff were mean to the kids there. The staff there don’t care about the girls at the program they are really there for the money. I am 16 now and I hear complains from my friends about this place when they were younger too. Tbh they make it seem such an awesome place to drop ur kids off for the day but once ur kids walk into the doors the game begins. Also they have teens who help the kids with their hw but it’s like they aren’t trained. The also serve snack and sometimes dinner. This is my experience.
Nilsa Colon: My daughter went there from second grade to the fifth grade. During the third year, her fifth grade a lot of the older college students who were employed left and they hired the teens that went there to begin with. My daughter started being treated terrible by the younger staff. Till this day this girls have favorites and talk to these girls with attitude. I try not to send her there but I do a couple of times a month. Parents be careful and ask your child how the staff treats them. We should not pay to have our kids verbally and mentally abused. This is a place that claims to give the girls the value of being strong, smart, and bold. But are they doing what they say? This is so sad! The teen staff are bullies.
Andrea Burke: You have to wait in line till people come out and people aren’t even in the pool so if you want to wait an hour or so to swim this is the place for you
monique Bull: I sent my kid there for the summer she came back great new personality new friends love it
Ayla Eye: It was a decent place when I went there I just wish I had the courage (I’m scared of commitment)to join the Eureka program but now it’s to late. All my friends seem to the program so I’ll give them 5 stars on their behalf.
Cocobean . Michelle: Facilities are clean and have a swimming pool, which is great but my girls hated that summer camp. The leaders hated being there and showed it by making the campers miserable. The employees are very friendly to engage you when you sign up, but then the friendliness goes away.
Lisette Santana: Girls Inc of Worcester has been an amazing and safe place for my daughter to go to while I work in the summer and after school. My Daughter has attended Girls Inc sense she was in kindergarten and still continues to go to this day, she is currently a freshmen in high school. Through Girls Inc she has had the opportunities to participate in various activities such as Dear World, Eureka, Summer STEM, Fit girls and many more. Thank you Girls Inc.

Chris Laporte: I have volunteered at Catholic Charities for a few years. The staff and volunteers in the Food Pantry work very hard to provide families and individuals with food and other necessities. They are respectful and pleasant to clients. At times they also must deal with clients who have unrealistic expectations of the assistance Catholic Charities can provide, or who rudely park in the Fire Lane, blocking access to the elementary school next door.Catholic Charities is truly caring for God's people.

Worcester JCC: what do users think?
Bev Peña: The tour was great, we joined immediately as a single parent family. The membership fee is great for what they offer.I enjoy the gym, they advertised babysitting on 3 days of the week, thought I could go in on those days. My teenager loves Basketball and they offer open gym on certain days.I quickly noticed in the women's locker room how filthy it is. The floor was disgusting. I mentioned it on 2 different occasions, they pretended to show concern but when I checked again, the floor did not look any different.Babysitting was cancelled way too many times which limited when I could go. I signed up for texts. At least this way I would know of cancellations ahead of time.My teen has a tough time in the gym, open gym gets pretty full and there is nobody to monitor. The men intimidate the younger kids and take over the gym. They have a great basketball program for kids, which is probably the only good thing about the JCC.The fitness area is small, has a limited amount of machines and areas for weight lifting. After 4pm is the craziest time to go.Finally, I chose to workout earlier in the day but that's when the personal training goes on and the female trainer takes up several of the equipment I normally use and not to mention takes over the mat/stretching area. She never cleans the area up as it says on multiple flyers hanging in the gym nor does she have the clients clean the areas they use. It became very aggravating.I changed the membership for just my teenager to go.I will have to find a different gym to frequent.
John Di Anni: Rude staff
Alemayehu Bekele: The convenience of this location to our house is greatly appreciated. There's something for everyone, from babies to grandparents. If you have kids, you'll appreciate the day care services available to members. It's a sanitary environment as well. Most importantly, the front desk staff are fantastic individuals. As for the kids, they have a ton of great programs during the summer and winter months.
A F: They changed the time for the spring basketball games last minute from 3:45/4:45pm to 1:15pm on Sundays after I had already made the payment based on the winter schedule but when I requested my refund, they said it would take a while to process & 3 months later I still haven’t received my refund. When I emailed the Mikalyla S. who had taken the payment she never replied! Disappointed & will never sign up my kids here ever! After posting this review my money was refunded back to my account & they even contacted me!
Leo Finkel: I've had a lot of bad experiences with this place. There were very few employees that were kind-hearted the rest had unpleasant attitudes. I've gone here for about 5 years on and off and am writing this review from a friend's account to avoid being identified. The prices have also skyrocketed in the past year or two. For a small gym with unwelcoming employees, the price is most certainly not worth it.- Fellow Worcester Friend
Lisa Balch: Love the pool & the entire aquatics staff!
Cynthia Stone: Great exercise program. Focused on health more than appearance. Wonderful instructors.
JESSE RITZ: Great place to exercise and meet other members of the community.
Christine Sparks: I exercise at the JCC about 5 times a week. The fitness center is light and airy and has a full variety of machines and free weights. The fitness classes are wonderful. The instructors are cheerful and knowledgeable. The fellow members of the gym make you feel right at home. It is a great, supportive environment. The free child care pretty much saved my life. Free childcare is offered Mon-Fri from 9-12 for a total length of 1.5 hours. This gave me time to exercise. Plus, my son loved playing with the other children.
Nate Hafer: Great after school and summer camp options - lots of fun activities in a safe, welcoming environment. The outdoor pool is awesome in the summertime!
Leslie Degenhardt: Both my children attended preschool here and I can't say enough about it. My daughter is now 8 and still thinks back with fond memories. The preschool was life shaping for my son and daughter. Between the superb teachers and amazing director and curriculum, we knew immediately that this was the perfect choice for our children.
Susan Begley: The Worcester JCC is a great place! My family has had a membership for years. The staff are friendly, helpful and always willing to assist. I love the fitness classes, especially RPM & SPIN! (Debbie & Heather are the BEST!) Every day I go, I feel welcomed and see friends who also love the JCC!
Steve Agolli: Great place to work out, very clean and friendly. The indoor and outdoor pools are very nice and clean. Gym is nice, with very good equipment.
Yin Guo: It is very good facility, people are very nice. And gym equipment are very functional too.I am be a member more than 5 years. I like so much.
Nick Ariskin: I am JCC member since 1992 and this is for the reason - it is great facilities and it is a great group of people - staff and members. After a while the workouts atmosphere matters a lot for your health for your mood and 26 years of membership it matters for your Life!
thatmemekid: Great atmosphere! Much cleaner and less overpopulated than the YMCA. Staff are much more helpful and engaged in their programs!
Nancy Dube: Lovely new facility. The Worcester Job Seekers Network is hosted here every Monday from 8:00 am - 9:30 am. The group is free and open to the public.
Curtis Lheureux: its cool
Joseph Cancelmo: Great staff - super clean too!
