Derek Flynn: I took my old CBR there last summer, and got completely hosed. I asked the owner to find and fix a misfire. $400.00 later and the second I left the lot it was still misfiring. I came back and asked them what they did, the owner grumbled that they cleaned the spark plugs and put in a new battery. Why in the #$@% would you just clean and not replace the 10 year old spark plugs once you're in there??? Told them it was still misfiring. The owner stared blankly at me for 20 seconds, mumbled something inaudible and walked back to the shop floor. These people clearly don't care, they just want the check. If you have an older bike, Id recommend you take it somewhere else or do it yourself.Bottom line: they did not fix what I asked them to fix.

Many attempts to hide safety issue we’re evident. Tampering with exhaust system. “Mud” applied to exhaust and body to hide severe damage, transmission fluid dripping on the inspection floor. Buyer beware! If young sales owner changes his business practice, which I sincerely hope he does, reviews of endorsements will flow. Until them reviews like this one will continue.

We drove in one night with a headlight out and it was quickly fixed even though Mike was in the process of closing the shop. My daughter had a flat near by, and Mike fixed it and sent her on her way. I sent a friend in from Boston to have his Saab looked at and Mike was able to quickly diagnose the problem and advise him. I could not say enough positive things about they buying or repair experience. By the way we have had a GMC truck and Pontiac worked on at Barry's along with the three Saabs we have purchased from them.As for the person who claims to have had trouble with them, all I can say is you must have come in with an attitude or asked the impossible.I just picked up my GMC truck after leaving it with them with a long laundry list of repairs, and I know I am paying much less for all the repairs than all the other shops.

They found the parts I needed and finished a major repair in a timely fashion. I've found them to be friendly, professional and courteous, and upfront about charges. I'd recommend them.

I BOUGHT SAME CAR WITH LESS MILEAGE BETTER MODEL ON CRAIGLIST FOR $ 500.00 CHEAPER THAN WHAT I PAID TO THIS OLDMAN WHO HAD SWEET MOUTH TO CLOSE SALE AND AFTER SALES HE WILL SHOW HIS TRUE COLORS. DO NOT DEAL WITH CO IN ORDER TO SAVE BIG MONEY. IF CALL THEIR GARAGE THEY NEVER PICK UP CALLS.

Donald W: This is the WORST used car place to go to, they’re very nice at first but as soon as they get your money it’s all the opposite. I bought a vehicle from them that has a major problem and when I tried to get them to fix/repair the problem they stopped answering my calls and suddenly no one it’s at the office. They did this for about 3 months until I had to pay out of my pocket to get the vehicle fixed. There’s a Eddie, a James, a Able, but like I said.. Robert Kaufman: I could write Scott Carr's Auto Shack a five-star review based purely on the work they did on my car, and if you don't want to read this whole thing, know that they are incredibly honest and competent mechanics who know and love Saabs. However, the fact is my positive experience with them started long before I was even a customer. I spent the better part of a year looking for a Saab 9000 (and a specific one at that) and along the way e-mailed every Saab specialist remaining in North America I could find. Matthew Carr was the recipient of one of those e-mails, and, over the course of a few months, spent multiple hours educating me over e-mail and via phone on what to look for and weighing in on various cars I was considering buying. He had no reason to believe I would eventually turn into a customer, but that didn't matter; he was more than happy to share his expertise and passion for these cars free of charge. But, when I ended up finding the car I wanted, I brought it to Sutton to see the Carrs and I wasn't disappointed. My primary goal was to deal with a nagging transmission issue that the prior owner disclosed but wasn't able to solve, while also dealing with some routine maintenance and giving the car a general once over. They quickly and correctly diagnosed the transmission issue (which others had been unable to), while also completing the requested maintenance and giving a thorough assessment of the car, including an honest and fair appraisal of what needed to get done vs. what can wait. The work was done quickly and for a fair price, but, more importantly, the car now drives better than it likely has in years. You don't try to keep a 28 year old car like mine on the road (let alone a Saab) to get from A-Z, you do it because of an emotional attachment. This makes it all the more important to leave it in the hands of a shop you trust. There is no where else I would trust my Saab 9000 to other than Scott Carr's Auto Shack (even if I have to drive an hour each way to get there).

He called me back within the hour just like he said he would when he had the lug nut in hand. Mistakes happen but atleast do something to make up for it. I asked for supervisor to call back and no one called me I called back hour later and supposedly the supervisor answered I highly doubt it.
