The Revolution Hotel: what do users think?
Adam Slote: Fantastic design touches throughout. Comfy beds, clean bathrooms, great co-working space, good location.
Julie: We got a premium king with the bathroom inside the room. The bathroom door is a rolling barn door that does not close all the way and you can hear everything. The bed is on a platform which makes it awkward to get out of if you are on the window side. The service was excellent but we will not stay there againRooms: 2/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lee Payton: Great value hotel in good location for the marathon. I suggest they let guests know at check-in that there is a shared refrigerator and a shared microwave available for their use.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Marton Toth: Interesting boutique hotel with communal bathroom cabins but impeccable style and quality!Rooms: Luxury dorm style.Walkability: Close to everything downtownNoteworthy details: Co-working space in the lower level
Brian Ferdman: UPDATE: I've now stayed in both a "Premium King" as well as the cheaper rooms. Without a doubt, the cheaper rooms with the bathroom down the hall are the way to go. The bathrooms down the hall are plentiful (I never had a wait during any of my multiple stays here), spacious, and cleaned regularly.) On the other hand, the bathroom in the Premium King is kind of chintzy with a mere shower curtain seperating toilet and showet (although I think the shower is taller than that of the shared bathrooms), and the bathroom actually cuts into the room design with the sink taking up the space where you would have a desk in the cheaper rooms. You actually feel like you have less space in a Premium King.I stayed in one of the cheaper rooms with a bathroom down the hall. Typically, this setup is less than ideal, but The Revolution's rooms have a tote bag with towels, soaps, body wash, shampoo, etc., as well as very helpful bathroom slippers...although they were a little small for my size 11 feet. Nevertheless, there were two separate clusters of six bathrooms on my floor, each with a toilet, sink, and quality shower. There was ample room to get changed, and it was easily the best experience I've had in a hotel with a bathroom down the hall. The room itself was very modern and small yet smartly designed and quite comfortable with fast, free Wi-Fi and a small desk. The rooms had a little light that I believe would let you know if the bathrooms were occupied, although mine stayed lit the entire time. The South End location is very nice, and if you're looking for an affordable room that you won't be spending too much time in, this hotel is an ideal choice for you.
Oleg Rudakov: Very nice!!!
Justin Shaw: I stayed here for a few days on a winter staycation last year. Loved it. It was such a unique experience for me as I was new to the micro-hotel thing. But I get it now. The rooms are tight, but it is more than enough for 1 person. (A bit small for two, I think). But you can get a bathroom in your room or not. Either would be just fine. The decor of this hotel is super interesting to look at. It's modern and funky and classy at the same time. And there is the great big workspace/kitchen on the lower level that is just a dream to hang out in. The location is really nice, tucked in the South End...but is a little bit of a walk from Back Bay station. Hard if you have luggage or if the weather sucks. It's really awesome to have the lovely Cosmica restaurant downstairs.Rooms: Small, efficient, modern, high tech, luxurious
Gerard Ureña: Hotel muy aconsejable. Habitaciones muy bien equipadas, colchones muy cómodos. Baños compartidos individuales muy limpios y bien cuidados. Hall amplio y bonito. Personal amable y atento. Muy bien situado. Repetiría sin dudarlo.
H K: The room was miserable. It felt like a storage room with dusty pipes running around the stained walls. The ceiling was chipping. Apart from the immediate use surfaces, everything else was cover with dust, lint, and grime accumulated for years (the floor corners, the pipes, the window screens, etc). It was very poorly equipped which made the stay in this tiny room for 2 people even more difficult. The heat was supposed to come from the AC but most of the time only cool air was coming out. The AC unit was clogged with dust and lint, obviously never cleaned, and without proper maintenance. We stayed mid-January but there was no comforter provided and when we asked for one, they brought us a twin-size one for 2 people! We expressed our disappointment on our checkout and got a $50 refund but overall, the room was of the quality of a cheap dirty motel one at the price of a proper hotel.
Evan Wawrykow: For the price, it can’t be beat. Yeah, the bathrooms are separate, but they’re clean and spacious. The rooms are small, but everything you need. Great location and friendly staff. I would stay here again in a heart beat.
lena webster: Rooms cute & cozy...Great walking distance to all attractions and shopping area.Heat very good !! Pet friendly .place really clean & quiet. The bed was most comfortableRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Selina Diaz: Staff in the front desk were awesome!Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Braeden Diehl: Very comfortable room with very clean bathrooms. The room is cozy but filled with so many ingenious and quirky space-savers. The bathroom tote bag filled with slippers, towels and soaps is a smart touch. The front desk staff is very friendly and go out of their way to explain all the hotel amenities. For less than $150 per night in an expensive city, it's a no-brainer to stay here in Boston. They have a coffeeshop with a cozy hangout space, a fitness room, and a restaurant.
Lauren “Teerdrop” Teer: Let's be clear, the revolution "hotel" is more of an upgraded hostel experience. If you book your stay with those expectations, you should find it more than accommodating. Super cozy beds, responsive staff (with texting capabilities at that), and the shared bathrooms were nicer than other hotels I've stayed in and very private. On occasion the bathrooms closest to our room were all in use, but I didn't have any issues finding an open restroom just a short walk down the hall. So long as you remember to lock your bathroom door, as you should, you won't have any issues. Toiletries and shower slippers provided. I especially liked the shampoo and face bar. Cleaning crew was seen multiple times throughout the day.We stayed in both the triple and quad rooms on different nights and both met our needs well.
M. K.: The room was really noisy. People next door did not sleep at night, which kept us awake. The room was across the bathrooms which we had to share. If you were lucky enough you could go on the toilet in the morning and shower. Otherwise you had to wait. The distance was okay, but kind of far from everything. Parking was really expensive and hard to find near the hotel without walking distance. The windows do not have a good isolation meaning the cold got into the room. People sleeping next to the window were freezing. Overall it was an average place to stay in Boston. Don't expect more.Noteworthy details: Es ist ein leckeres und nettes Café in der Straße, dass dem Straßennamen gleicht. Sehr zu empfehlen:)

DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Boston - Downtown: what do users think?
Ken P.: Really would have like to have a glass or 2 in the bathroom. Wouldn't have even cared that much if is was a paper or plastic one even. The shower door in the room was a bit wonky and needed extra attention to make sure it closed properly. We arrived early and they held our bags for us as we went touristing around. Online check in is nice, but I went with good old fashioned personal service. They were helpful and booked a tour for us and provided directions. The room was good, large king bed. Comfy enough for a good sleep. The I-thing alarm clock time was an hour behind and no apparent way to adjust it. It was also annoyingly bright, I had to unplug it, as turning it away didn't diminish the light enough for sleeping. Building maintenance could be a bit better, there was some broken suitcase wheel parts in the elevator, that were still there the next morning when we booked out. Still better than many places I have stayed at.
Ting W: 服務生很客氣!雖然房間的插頭有點老舊,地理位置還算方便,大概15分鐘路程能到波士頓公園。
Asfand Altaf: This place exceeded expectations. the management Kira was one of the best Hostess I have ever come across. The management made sure to message me personally if I needed anything, they were friendly and smiley all day. Housekeeping was impeccable. Rooms were open, clean and very elegant.Again, the service was the highligh. I just asked for toothpaste it was in my room before I came from work, even small things like getting a warm cookie made my day. At checkout the person (i don't remember the name) chased my down to starbucks to hand me the paper receipt to make sure I had a record when the email didnt work. They went out of their way to ensure I was treated exceptionally. Thank you DoubleTree for a wonderful experience and huge props to the staff!
Jimm D: I had a great stay here, and service was overtly friendly and helpful. Location is great just steps from Chinatown and short jaunts to rest of downtown, South Station, and Fenway Park.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
NORN IRON: Room was mediocre at best. The creaking room floors are horrendous.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Miguel Perez: Best location clean hotel friendly I had best experience and I had a wonderful night thereRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury, Great view, Romantic, Quiet, Kid-friendly, Great value, High-tech …More
Peter May: I would highly recommend a stay here...staff and management wonderful...they make u feel right at home...they seem to care ❤Nearby activities: Best location for theatre district and Chinatown restaurantsWalkability: Very safe area...close to a lot of diverse activity
Michael Freeland: Excellent location good service over charged because of the Boston MarathonRooms: Nice size clean roomNearby activities: Good locationSafety: We personally felt ok!Walkability: Easy to walk the cityNoteworthy details: Room rates for the Boston Marathon were triple the normal rate!
Darryl Wagner: Totally scammed. I booked a reservation, but entered the wrong dates. Called back to change my dates and customer service said I would receive a confirmation number dates were changed. A day later I called back because I never received my confirmation number and I was told my reservation was cancelled. My money was non refundable because it was a "special rate". I didn't want to cancel. I just wanted to change the dates. TOTAL SCAM. Never stay again at a Hilton.
Roberto Cavallini: Hotel vintage. Però Hilton es siempre una garantía. Fantástico el personal del front desk!
Kristina Clement: The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hotel itself could use an interior refresh. The staff at the desk were very friendly. The location is great, if a little loud at night with sirens. You are within easy walking distance of Boston Common and other sites. Parking is $59 a night.Walkability: Easy walk to lots of sites and close to a T station.

Courtyard by Marriott Boston Downtown: what do users think?
Jan Krauss: I paid 450 the night without breakfast for a tiny room with construction workers drilling into the wall during the day. No word of this beforehand. I know that old buildings need upkeep, but this is not OK. Apparently not for business travelers.Rooms: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Elisabeth Douglass: Small room, no fridge, lots of night time sirens.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Alex: Ups and downs. Was on a business trip, so was limited with the choices. And also trusted the rating .Great location. Quiet.Outdated. Very overpriced. It seems they save on everything. No bottled water, no body lotion. Terrible mattress. No kidding - I woke up both nights in pain.Broken hook/towel holder on the wall. I saw the same set of glasses on the floor for 2 days in the hallway. No idea how their housekeeping works .Their gym has views on the small park to the south. My room looked into the wall of other windows - being a platinum elite member and not being able to get a decent room is kind of upsetting, wouldn't you say?The verdict - it would be ok if it didn't cost that much. That's why I'm giving 3 points and not just 1.However I'll always avoid it if possible.
Antonietta: Do not allow the valet to park your vehicle. Items were stolen out of our car and both the Marriott and VPNE parking solutions would not accept responsibility. I will never book another room at any of the Marriott hotels.Service: 1/5 …More
Christopher Schultz: Old, terrible bed. Only giving it two stars because of how friendly the staff was
singingchef23: Overall the location was so good I would absolutely stay again. Perfect place in the heart of downtown, walked to every destinationRooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Mike Krasinski: Location is great and near everything within walking distance or a short walk. Bar is a little small but not a big deal. Didnt try the food, but it looked good from what I could see around us. The front desk crew were awesome and got us checked in quickly. Rooms are basic, but we were only there to sleep and explore so really didnt matter for us. You can find self parking at a garage nearby if you want to save some money.
Cynthia Chavez: Rooms are outdated and the noise from the nearby clubs are so extremely loud!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More
Liz Niccum: Great location. Super small room with no closet, iron/ironing board, or refrigerator. Not your typical Courtyard.
Stephen B: The room was clean and nice. The shower sucks. It's too short. The price is Boston, which I guess is expected. I do have to say the bartenders downstairs are amazing and great guys. Sometimes I'd rather sit there then go to these expensive bars around. . Bar is cheap for Boston and has a good atmosphere.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Amelie Belisle: Overall great hotel with good location. People were nice and accommodating (we checked in around 12 pm). The rooms are a bit small, and lack a fridge. Hotel tends to be very noisy (heavy doors being slammed, nearby city, nearby bars and theaters) so earplugs needed if noise sensitive. Parking is quite overpriced, but I guess that's "normal" for a city in 2023. Beds are comfortable but skimp out on blankets. Staff was super fast at providing more on-demand, however. High speed internet was charged even though Bonvoy status provides it free, but again, staff was very nice and fast about resolving the issue. Staff at the bar was super friendly.Rooms: No fridge. Great showers.Walkability: Close proximity to subway orange line.
Vanessa Dudley: My boyfriend and I stayed here while we were in town for Pax East. The room was clean and comfortable and the front desk staff was super friendly. We didn't realize when we booked, but the hotel is in Chinatown, which means we we're within walking distance of amazing Hot Pot for dinner and some of the best dim sum we've had for breakfast. Parking was affordable, too, which was a nice surprise. I always love staying at Marriott, and this was no exception. We'll be staying again for next year's Pax.EDIT: So, it's 2023 and we stayed here again. I've got to say, I'm kind of disappointed this time. Rooms no longer have fridges, there's no complimentary breakfast, wifi hasnt worked the whole time we've been herw, and the water was cold in the shower.
Juan Farias: Hotel is old. Most of the bathrooms toilets do not work properly. I had a room where my toilet was clogged and front desk didn’t care, even when i am a platinum member.Lot of noise around because of the clubs/bars. Not pleasant at all. Avoid
Rebecca Resig: Do not stay at this hotel if you want to sleep at night. There is a nightclub that shares a wall with the hotel and it is open until 2 am. The club's bass vibrates through the whole building making it very hard to ignore. Also, the hotel is under construction (which we are warned about) and the workers were outside my window on scaffolding at 7am each morning and there they remained all day...loudly talking. This meant that I never opened the curtains on the room because there was someone directly outside. overall, just not an enjoyable stay. The staff seemed stressed but pleasant whenever a question was asked
Rachel Orenstein: Fantastic value for these clean, comfortable, updated, spacious rooms. Everything was perfect. The TV even had Netflix access. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance to center-city/downtown but is still distanced enough to be quiet. The front desk was very helpful. Everything was clean and in great condition. Plenty of hot water for the shower, and a mini fridge and coffeemaker were both available in the room. Would absolutely stay here again!
Gabriel Anaya: Absolutely amazing hotel that has everything you need! Beautiful views; great location less than a block from the train and 2 blocks from anothrt, 2 blocks from Boston Common, and in the middle of the theater district. Plus, everyone at the hotel goes above and beyond in both friendliness and service, from the valets to the front desk staff, to the cleaners. Just a fantastic place to stay for any trip to Boston!
Brooke Spears: The service has been pleasant but the walls in this hotel are paper thin. I’m not sure how you’re supposed to fall asleep.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5 …More

Havi Harv: Great location and good price.Hotel is clean and new. Rooms are spacious and have a nice deco.Breakfast was good, down in the lobby.Did stay at PH level. Rooms were quiet and nice.
Vicente Benitez: Sometimes you can judge a hotel just by the toilet paper they choose to supply. This hotel chooses to use a very thin and rough toilet paper. Enough said...Nearby activities: Close to the Boston Garden / TD Arena and historic downtown Boston
Derek Thomas: Very cool and stylish Courtyard. Executive floor was very nice and accommodating. Will stay again for business trips.
Ben Silver: Excellent hotek, excellent location, exceptional staff. This is the nicest Courtyard I've ever seen, let alone stayed at. Perfect location minutes from the North Station, North End, TD Garden, etc. Rooms are spacious, clean and updated. We were early for our early check in and that did not matter. He found us a room right away and put us in room PH121 with an amazing view. We were there for the Celtics game but wanted to do some site seeing as well. Tony had a map and checked off some must sees, from restaurants, drinks to site seeing musts with the extra touch of his phone number in case we got lost " He would get us back".Our stay was amazing from the time we checked in till the time we checked out! All the staff were friendly and helpful. We will be back again for sure.Rooms: Rooms were modern and clean.Nearby activities: Great location to TD Garden and great restaurants.Food & drinks: It was great to have food and drinks in the lobby.

Harborside Inn: what do users think?
Mariam Pashalishvili: Awful Hotel, NOT recommended. The service is awful, they don’t provide water, hair conditioner or any other things like toothbrush. They tell you to go to nearest grocery. The hotel is really awful. The manager and any other staff is not able to handle situations. Also they have bar downstairs and it is very noisy. Don’t book this hotel if you want to spend a good night in Boston. There are a lot of hotels which are much better than this for cheaper or same price.

Jayden Zeng: Great location to stay at if you’re traveling and don’t plan to drive. Public transportation is very close by.The room was cleaned when I stayed here. We were told to ask for house keeping if we needed. This is good as I only wanted specific parts of house keeping. Employees were amazing and super helpful. The room was a little hard to get to as it was a corner room, but it did have a nice city view. I stayed there during a cold and dry period, unfortunately, so I definitely kept getting static shocked, but otherwise, it was a great place to stay.
Christine Stone Monaghan: The room was nice, though the AC was broken so it was a steady 78 degrees in the room the entire night. We stayed in a room without windows and it was very quiet - which is always nice! For what we paid it would have been nice to have a real breakfast included. The attached bar/restaurant was nice and staff was friendly.Walkability: Much of the area is walkable and if you need to get to the other side, the subway or buses make it easy and fast.Noteworthy details: Right next to a subway depot which makes getting around town very easy.
Diana Steinway: Stayed here for 3 nights recently, was on the 8th floor in a corner room. The rooms are ok -- mine was quite large with a fairly comfy bed. I think the description of 'boutique' and 'retro' is an attempt to get around the fact that everything is just dated and a bit tired. It was clean to begin with but during my three night stay, my room was not cleaned once when I was paying $350/night. Not even the trash emptied. I also cannot stand the fact that they do not provide a basic coffee maker in these rooms, yet it's really important to put in a retro stereo that is of no use. Yes free coffee is available from 7am. Doesn't help business travelers like me who are up at 5am.
C M: Very good hotel in a great location. Rooms are comfortable and very clean. Service throughout was friendly and helpful. The shower was lukewarm hence 4 stars - but as we were only there one night we didn't ask for this to be resolved.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Victoria Alcuaz: My stay isn't as pleasant as the airconditioning wasn't working in my room in Cabin 1. By 3am, it went to as high as 83 degrees F, so I couldn't sleep and no other rooms available either.I have VIP status from Expedia so a bottle of wine/night was promised but that didnt happen either. Today I left 7am due to an early start of my training but mentioned to the front desk the problem and was promised that they will look into it. I came 7:20pm and the airconditioning was still out-of-order. I had to leave to watch a basketball game and was told that it'll be fixed before I get back. I came back 1030pm with no real changes made. I asked to be transferred and had to move to Room 211 at 11pm. Too much inconvenience when all these should've been prevented.I ask for compensation for all the inconvenience. Thanks,VictoriaWalkability: Close to pretty much everything I needed to be during this stay
Pepa Peña tejero: Hotel muy céntrico, con el metro en la puertahabitaciones amplias y cama muy cómoda, personal muy amable y no hay problema con el idioma porque siempre hay alguien que te habla en español
Jeff Castle: Thank you to John in the sales group and the Harborside staff. Our team meeting went very well, the meeting room and equipment served our group of 20 perfectly. John is easy and pleasant to work with. Everything was perfect. Thank you!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Laura Washburn: Perfectly adequate accommodations, and decent location. A bit overpriced for what it is, but understandable on a busy weekend. Front desk staff is clearly not trained or experienced - what really frustrated us was the defensiveness and lack of accountability/resolution of issues when we had them. Small issues, but as customers with expectations, would have appreciated a better response. As someone who travels several times a month for both work and pleasure, I have never experienced such unqualified hotel staff. Definitely opportunity to empower the desk staff, and provide transparency to customers. The Hilton and Marriott were comparable in price - next time, we’ll stay there instead.

Holiday Inn Express Boston, an IHG Hotel: what do users think?
walid madhoun: Good hotel, good service. Great car wash next door. I recommend this location but only if you have a car (4 stars with cars, 3 without), it is not really a walking neighborhood.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 4/5 …More
Dylan O'Neill: I had a great stay here! Great location relative to downtown Boston. The room was very clean and well kept. The hotel attendant, Rick, was very friendly. He was able to cater to all of our needs. Will definitely stay here in the future
Pam Eschner: The rooms are compact but nice. No problem for us. Comfy bed, good shower, not a lot of counter space. But a really good breakfast, with eggs, meat, even a pancake maker machine! (which is nice for others.) I'm GF, so most places with breakfast only have yogurt that I can eat.Safety: You need the key card to enter the hotel, so that's nice to know for the middle is the night safety
Troy Hardiman: My girlfriend and I had stopped in to see a friend and the gentleman behind the counter began to ask what we were doing and with a well mannerd reply. I stated that we were there to visit a family member. As we went to sit in the waiting area we were told we could not be there cause we were a liability and we had to leave and could not wait in the building. So we did and had a talk with the Maine office. so its fair to say ill never go there again.

Aaron Burros: My friends and I stayed here for the 127th Boston Marathon, and yes, we were very surprised. They had the hotel marathoned out. Not only were we being welcomed and celebrated, but the runners who stayed there years before us were being celebrated.Noteworthy details: There's an entire mall area, just a stone throw away. Yes, even Starbucks.

Dave Champman: Make sure to use HoteITully.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This web site will compare hundreds of booking web sites and usually will have rooms much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This resort is the best rated in the area. I've been staying here for years. If you stay for a few days you won't be disappointed.Nice hotel in a good location - easy drive to all the tourist spots. Staff was friendly, room was really nice, hotel was clean. Free breakfast everyday as well. Stayed here for 4 days/3 nights, no complaints at all.
Randy Brooker: One of the cleanest hotels I have ever been in! Beds were very comfortable. I don't like being gouged for parking after spending $400 on a room but I guess that's kind of standard practice now.Hotel highlights Quiet …More
Chris K: Clean room, comfortable bed, nice bathroom with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. There is also a coffee maker in the room with small bottles of water. The breakfast area was clean and there were many selections. A great affordable place to stay when in the area
James Winnett: Guest Services is absolutely rude.I grabbed a drink from the cooler and proceeded to the counter. The guy looks as me and says with a ridiculous attitude there is a $10 minimum for the card or you need to change it to your room. I guess cash doesn't work Holiday Inn.Holiday Inn you're in the hospitality business. Not the watch how rude I can be business.Check the attitude of your front desk staff. He is not very welcoming.
Priya Prakash: Very courteous staff. The rooms are pretty basic and serve the purpose. Breakfast can definitely be improved to include healthier or less packaged options.

Johnny Buckingham: Good customer service that’s consistent with the Aloft brand. I would stay here again.
Nacho Caloca: Rooms are very small , the food inside the hotel at the bar is terrible the only good about this hotel is the location it is close from good places to visit
Digital Millionaire LLC: I had a brief but enjoyable stay at the ALoft hotel in Boston, MA. Although I was only there for one night, I found the hotel to be modern, clean, and well-appointed. The staff were welcoming and helpful, ensuring that I had everything I needed for my stay.My room was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed that allowed me to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom was spotless and had all the amenities I needed. The hotel's location is also excellent, with easy access to public transportation and many of Boston's top attractions. Although I didn't have much time to explore, I was able to visit a enjoy a delicious dinner at a nearby restaurants.Overall, I highly recommend the ALoft hotel in Boston for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in the city, even if just for one night. The staff, amenities, and location make it an excellent choice for any traveler.
Pam Carroll: Great plan to stay 😄
Elizabeth Switaj: This was my first time staying at an Aloft branded hotel. I chose it for its location near the convention center. Even though I arrived quite early in the day, the friendly staff found me a room to get into right away. The room itself had a great view of the city and plenty of space; the bed was comfortable with more than enough pillows. I appreciated that I could control the temperature even though the heater was a bit loud. Because of the heater and the proximity to flight paths, light sleepers will want to bring earplugs. The vegan options at breakfast were a pleasant surprise, and the gym fit a surprising amount of equipment into a small space.
Stevie Jorgensen: I want to specifically shout out Manny at the front desk! Very kind, very helpful, made my trip really great. This is my second time staying at an Aloft, and I think I'm going to be a frequent guest from now on. Clean rooms, kind staff, just made my stay that much better.Very clean room and a nice shower. Good water pressure and heat, which is hard to come by in hotels. Very close to the Boston Convention Center, so made walking to my conference easy and enjoyable.Walkability: If you've got good shoes on, walking to downtown isn't hard at all. Skip the uber, take a walk along the water!
J P: If you are attending anything at the BCEC, this is the place to stay!Food & drinks: On the ground floor is a Brazilian restaurant.Definitely try bartaco if you are in the area. Only a 10 minute walk away.

The Inn At Longwood Medical: what do users think?
Maureen Harris: Great location for hospitals. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking is right under the hotel too.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet, Great value …More
Rick F: Very clean rooms which have micro wave ovens, refrigerators, excellent TV,s ,excellent showers.Upon arrival we greeted by a very friendly and accommodating young man. Our stay was a very pleasant experience and the only negative experience was the staff refused to give us advanced directions to their parking garage ,after 5 phone calls we gave up and asked a Boston police officer when we arrived.
Kenneth Roswell: I stayed at the Inn at Longwood with my Father who was having surgery at Brigham and Woman's for three days.Pros -1) The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance of four different major hospitals, Brigham and Woman's, Dana Farber, Beth Israel and Boston Children's.2) There is a food court with several dining options and a CVS and you don't even have to go outside to get there.3) The neighborhood is very walkable with only small hills. It feels like it is safe, no panhandlers or nare do wells hanging around. I didn't have occasion to need to leave the area, but there is ample bus service with connections to the T in the area if you do.4) The staff was nice. John the Security Guard was a help in giving advice for the area - in particular on the qualities of the various restaurants in the food court. The battery died in the room safe and they were prompt in getting it fixed.5) The rooms are basic and clean. I had a Premium Two Queen Room. I found the beds and pillows comfy. There is a safe, fridge, microwave K-Cup coffee maker and at least 8-10 USB connectors scattered throughout the room. The bathroom is very small. Also the tub has a step up to get into it (there is a handle). If you have any mobility issues I would recommend looking into an ADA compliant room. (I have no first hand knowledge of these other than that they advertise them on the website)Cons -1) Boston is a very expensive place! Especially if you bring a car. Parking is not included with your room. I spent $84 to park my car for three days! (Although I actually saved money by not having to use the valet parking at the hospital as I was able to walk there) The Longwood Grille has decent food, but don't expect the portions to match the price. The rates are probably ok by Boston standards, but are expensive if one is staying with a sick family member for an extended time.2) As stated above the hotel is located very near four hospitals... the downside is near constant ambulance sirens. I don't hold this against the hotel in any way, but if you are a light sleeper and don't specifically need to be near the hospitals, consider a different location (or perhaps a room not overlooking the street).Overall I would rate this hotel positively. It's pricy but has a great location if you or a loved one is using one of the above hospitals.
Edwin Siu: Very convenient for access to Longwood Medical area. Rooms are quite clean and comfortable. Area seems safe and clean too.Service isn't the friendliest but maybe that's just Boston in general. Elevator floor location status lights aren't working, which makes it kind of confusing. There isn't a lot of restaurant options immediately nearby but that's expected given it's mainly hospitals around. However, there is a CVS and food court next door so that is pretty convenient for travelers.
Thomas Topham: I had a medical procedure at BIDMC and it was very convenientRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
patricia cabaero: Wonderful staff! They go above and beyond. Great location near hospital and Universities. Package pricing for hospital patients and for families visiting colleges in the area.Walkability: Nearby restaurants, colleges and hospital
Aaron Chick: As are all rooms in Boston the price was ridiculous, and worse yet we had our hands tied as we were there because our 10 year old was having emergency heart surgery. It's bad enough we were completely stressed out but to add to it the financial stress of getting a room for the 4 nights would have paid our mortgage one would think the service would have been impeccable and the amenities amazing, truth is it was a glorified motor lodge. Thankfully we aren't petty and simply did what we had to!Nearby activities: Fenway Park very close, plenty of shops and restaurants near by, mostly the hospitals Children's, Brigham and Woman's otherwise another Boston rip offWalkability: Boston Children's hospital was literally feet away and our son was in Cardiac ICU so we wanted to be close!
Sonja Oliveira: Don't know how other reviews missed this but NO HOT WATER!! Called front desk " old pipes, let it run for 10-15 ?minutes"..... uuuuh has anyone heard of instant hot water heaters and how to use them to limit long hot water runs from far away?!?! 2.5gallons/ min at 10 minutes is 25 gallons of water...... no wonder the environment is in collapse! Otherwise, clean, compact and ideally located but only if you are MOBILE and can walk more than a block. Also you must remember u r surrounded by hospitals so sirens and medivacs all day..... and all night! Edit reply to hotel: 1. there ARE commercial steam instant hots for intermediate locations you apparently need to research the concepts and benefits to your hotel and the environment 2. I was on the 5th floor (lowest one with rooms). 3. Not one sign anywhere asking guests to use towels more than 1x to conserve water in washing towels daily.
Jüri Kiin: The woman working the front desk evening of 3/10/23 was horrible! Unhelpful and rude. Refused to bring food that was misdelivered up to the room of my parents, both of whom get disoriented and lost easily. Terrible customer service.. they seemed understaffed.I will do everything in my power not to let them stay there again.
Eric Warner: If you're supporting or visiting a patient at one of the nearby hospitals, this place is perfect. I wish I had woken up early enough for the continental breakfast.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Toni Lopez: This is my first choice of hotel for each time I arrive in Boston for my continuing appointments at DFCI. It's very close to the Yawkey building. The staff is kind and helpful.Safety: The building and surrounding area is in the medical district of Boston making it a very safe place to be.Walkability: It's easy for me to get to all of my appointments at DFCI and BW. The public transportation system is great to getting around on a budget.Food & drinks: The Galeria has many different food choices, Dunkin, a café, and a CVS pharmacy. The Inn also has its own restaurant. Your hotel room includes a free continental breakfast each morning of your stay.
Tara Ozarski: Very convenientRooms: 3/5|Service: 3/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Marisa Roach: Hotel is clean and quiet but the prices are a bit much for families who have to travel for medical care
Jeff Young: If you are visiting the hospitals in the area, this hotel is very convenient. Also have a restaurant along with being next to a food court and a CVS.The rooms are decent and the bathrooms are on the smaller side. It was clean and quiet.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Lyn Stevens: The Longwood Inn was very clean, comfortable, and quiet.Rooms: The rooms are comfortable, clean, and quiet.Walkability: The Inn is within walking distance of the major hospitals.

Thomas Fleming: A great place to stay. From check in to check out it was great. We arrived at 9am to drop our bags off, extremely tired from travel, expecting to spend the day walking around before our room was available. They got us a room within 5 mins. Very friendly front desk & restaurant staff. The room was very spacious and had a king bed. Water was hot, air conditioning and heat was great. Actually slept for about 12hrs. Exactly what was needed before we started our vacation. Thank you for the great stay. An airport shuttle would be convenient but only $25 cab ride, it’s not much of an inconvenience.
Amanda Arndt: We stayed here during marathon weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The children loved the pool and sports deck. An overall good experience.
fiona ryan: After arriving at the hotel after a long flight from Ireland we arrived (My teenage soon and myself)at the hotel to be told that they had cancelled our room- we were due to stay for 6 nights. They said they would refund us our stay. This was absolutely no good to us as it would be almost impossible yo find a hotel on a Saturday evening in Boston. We were shocked and upset and asked why no-one had contacted us to let us know. The staff at the desk said they had no contact details for us. I had rang the hotel a month earlier to confirm the booking so they had my details. They were very unhelpful and did not offer any reasonable excuse except saying the hotel had been flooded. They told us to contact super travel who we had booked with. I asked them to find us an alternative place to stay- they eventually rang another holiday inn who had no availability. I was upset and extremely tired at this stage. After I insisted that we needed somewhere to stay for the night miraculously a cancellation turned up. It was a very upsetting start to our long awaiited holiday. I would be nervous booking with this hotel again as as I would be afraid the same thing would happen again.
Ali Etemadi: Great hotel and location. The staff is always great and the hotel is very modern! Really enjoyed the pool facility!
Coral Friesner: Some friends stayed at this hotel while visiting, clean and spacious rooms!
Sean Barrett: Hotel was nice and the pool and basketball were a great addition. Aliyah at the bar was excellent and provided us such a good evening! She made our stay!
Bryce Hahn: I am currently staying at the hotel and I call down to the front desk and whoever was working on 4/10/23 at 7:54pm was incredibly rude. I asked a simple question about the selection at the bar and I could barley get my question across. She gave me so much attitude for asking a simple question. I’ve never had such a BAD experience staying at a hotel. From the front desk being incredibly rude to not being able to go to the pool 2 days in a row because apparently hiring a lifeguard proves to be impossible for this hotel. We’ve been waiting to use the pool 2 days in a row and we waited for hours. I am absolutely floored with the poor service and I will NOT be staying here ever again. I DO NOT recommend it.
Jensey Lachapel: I would not recommend staying here if you plan on using any facilities. It’s been 2 days now that we haven’t been able to use the pool because of the lifeguard. Every time we have tried to come down to the pool the front desk says someone’s on their way and we are still waiting. I normally never give any place a bad review but 2 days in a row that we can’t use the pool- come on Holiday Inn let’s step it up.
Robert Nemitz: No working laundry or DIRECTV. Front desk wanted to blame the weather when it was clear. No real hustle to fix any of these issuesRooms: Basic rooms
James G: Stayed here for a weekend and the service was excellent. There is even a shuttle bus in to the city which is convenient.Only issue we had was 1 of the 2 elevators were broken so there was often a long wait to get to our floor.Rooms: 3/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 4/5Hotel highlights Kid-friendly, Great value …More
Giancarlo Greco: The worst managed hotel I have ever been. I spent 12 nights in the hotel and, notwithstanding my requests, the room was taken care only 4 times, vacum cleaned the carpet only once, and never wiped off the dust from the furniture, telephone and appliances. I had to request toiletries and towels at night when I walked in the room and noticed that no one had took care. External glass walls too thin make rooms noisy. Poor brekfast and expensive.
Jeremiah Lugo: Poor managmentRooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 3/5 …More
Sarah Goodell: We were not told there was a "maintenance issue" until we went to check in and were told they no longer had a room for us! No call, no notice of any kind. Ended up having to get our money refunded and quickly find a new hotel. Extremely frustrating.Service: 1/5 …More
Staci Miller: Rooms: Rooms were dirty and there was stuff on the sheets. We checked in and left 10 minutes later. Save your money and go somewhere else!
