Boston Bed Company: what do users think?
Ilkercan Kaya (Alumni): They didn't allow me to replace my bed with a queen one. I requested this only after 2 weeks of purchase. I paid ton of money. I would not recommend this place.
Enoch-Jude Danquah: Boston Bed Company has stellar service. Will definitely be ordering from here again! Thank you!
L K: Boston Bed Company delivered my box spring and mattress and I love it! The delivery guys were very nice and helpful getting it set up as well!
Alisa teselle: Awesome service & delivery guys were great!!!
Melanie Rosenblatt: Had a great experience at boston bed! Moving into college in the area and went into shop for a bed for my new apartment. My questions were all answered by the friendly staff and they had it delivered and installed to me fast with no issues. I would highly recommend!
Raul Aponte: Very disappointed with expensive furniture I’ve purchased from this business. The website claims that the furniture has a one year warranty but it’s a lie and they won’t honor it. I bought an expensive pull out couch that had issues with one of the couch cushion’s Velcro causing the cushion to lean forward and feel very uncomfortable to sit on. I attempted to fix the Velcro myself but to no avail so when I asked Boston Bed Company if they would fix this with the warranty their suggestion was for me to fix with supplies from the Home Depot. The point is this should have never been an issue in the first place. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company with how expensive the furniture is and with Russian roulette quality and then not honoring of the warranty.
brittany shelton: Very friendly staff! Great prices
M B: This place is a total scam. Sold me a frame with the wrong installation instructions and wouldn’t accept a return even though I brought back the frame which was unused. GO TO MATTRESSFIRM FOR BETTER QUALITY PRODUCTS.
Birgit Dommen: Made a telephone purchase for our college student--Wayne was amazing; knowledgeable, kind, and courteous! Best customer service!! Thank you so much Wayne!
Rebecca M: My Daughter moved to Boston for grad school where her rented apartment came with mixed size bedframe and too large mattress for the frame. Landlord removed it all, by request. Got her a new bed with storage and NEEDED a mattress. Wayne to the RESCUE! He graciously answered my questions and concerns over the phone (I'm 1,200 miles away) and welcomed my D to the showroom to help her find just the right one for her needs. Mattress was selected, paid for, and delivered the next morning! The delivery men were fast and TRUE PROFESSIONALS!INDEED, the stars aligned to meet a very special person placed in our path to help. Angels DO exist! Heartfelt thanks to Wayne and his team!
Jack Hare: Thank you Boston Bed for actually having beds in stock! This pandemic has wreaked havoc on supply chains, and big companies such as IKEA and Macy's are unable to supply beds. Even another local firm quoted me a 6 month lead time. I walked into Boston Bed in Stoughton having lost all hope of actually having something to sleep on, but Wayne quickly found me a great bed and a great mattress, and arranged for delivery four days later. I paid for the delivery guys to assemble the bed, which was money well spent - they did it in a flash, and saved me probably an hour's work. The bed looks great, the mattress is incredibly comfortable, and I am a very satisfied customer.
Jose Lemus: Great futon! Great customer service!
Cloverfield Monster: We originally thought this was the best place to buy a new bed. We went into the Stoughton Store and the manager was very nice and friendly. We bought a Cobblestone Mattress with an adjustable frame. When we left the store I noticed he charged us $100 more then we should of been. The king mattress was 1799.99 we were charged $1899.99. Once we got that issue straightened out the bed was delivered. Within the first couple weeks one side of the mattress gave out. We called the store who turned it over to the factory. Andrew came out looked at our bed n said he needed approval for a replacement. SUPPOSEDLY, he got it and they gave us the wrong mattress. One that can’t support the adjustable frame. They were making a new one that would go with the adjustable base. This has been going on since June 10th and I was promised a new mattress. First it was being made, then the factory staff was short handed due to July 4th Holiday. Now he doesn’t return my calls. My mattress is collapsed now and we are out a large sum of money. DON’T SHOP HERE. THEY PROMISE YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO HEAR AND DON’T DELIVER!! Should of known how this would go when we were overcharged in the first place!!!! They DON’T CARE ABOUT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Alex Huang: Great place mattress, good quality and really cheap.
martin evans: Recently my family & I moved back from California in the midst of the pandemic when everything was close.I called Boston Bed & spoke with someone by the name of Andrew & this employee remove all of the anxiety from the experience with a warm,, patient personality....and he demonstrated a wealth of knowledge & professionalism including with products and services that didn't involve his store.Shopping here was an amazing experience made all the better by Andrew....M
Angie Chatman: The staff was so helpful, yet didn't hover at all.
Annie Stanley: I can’t say enough nice things about this company. They were incredibly helpful and kind. It’s so nice in these difficult times to find a business that was able to get us exactly what we needed (plus free delivery) so quickly. This is why we should all buy local. We had our bed picked out yesterday afternoon and delivered the first thing this morning.Thank you so much, Boston Bed Company!
Kate Rosenblatt: I recently graduated from college and was going to be moving into my first apartment all by myself. One of the first things I needed was a mattress. I had such a great experience looking around and the employees were extremely helpful and funny. They first asked what kind of bed I preferred and was able to narrow the endless options, down to around 3 mattresses. I quickly was able to find the one I liked and that was that! A couple weeks later, I had the mattress delivered to my apartment. The guys were very professional and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend this store to anybody that needs a new mattress, bed frame, or futon. I love my mattress and tell my friends they should go here to get one!
Katie Nealon: Needed to buy a futon quickly and for immediate delivery. Dwayne was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. I was able to get in and out in 20 mins and my futon arrived a few hours later. He was so lovely, caring, and concerned truly making a my bad day brighter. The futon is excellent quality and delivery/set up was easy and the delivery men were helpful, friendly, and professional. I would wholeheartedly refer anyone to the Boston Bed Company in Allston.
Andrew Rosenblatt: In this day and age of getting everything delivered on line. Well do yourself a big favor and go into a Boston Bed location. These guys actually make there own mattresses right here in good old Massachusetts! No pressure atmosphere and most impressive by far the best quality for the price, well because they make them and sell them directly to the public. I spent about $600 for everything, and it’s a supper comfy bed and I’ve been loving it since it was delivered. So do yourself a favor and and get into a Boston Bed location and start having sweet dreams right away.....Stay clear of the mattress Wolfe’s that exist in most mattress stores! Thank you thank you thank you Boston Bed...you guys really are the BEST!!!!
Brodie Porter: I went to the Stoughton location after looking online and in ALL the other furniture stores in that area. Because I was looking for a very specific style of loft & needed it to be made out of 100% solid wood I wasn’t having much luck. I’m so thankful I met Richard at this location! He took time, was so kind, understood the situation, did the research & was not pushy at all. When I returned to make the purchase he had printed off all the specs, laid out my options in clear & easy way to understand & took an interest in the huge project that we had going on to organize a space and finish it off with this loft bed.The kindness & thoroughness off Richards customer service is a breath of fresh air in a environment when everyone is in a hurry & no one wants to stop & help, he did more than an excellent job & I can’t recommend him enough. The bed was delivered on time and again both men, ( I wish I remembered their names) took their time, answered my questions, Installed the bed in a careful & detailed way & has such pleasant demeanors throughout.Boston bed company, your beds are top quality & the people you employ are fantastic! Thank you for being positively different than all the rest!

HI Boston Hostel: what do users think?
Tom Beck: As a solo traveler on a budget, this was the best option I found in downtown Boston. The positives: Dorms were clean, there was always a free shower, and the cooking and washing facilities were great. The things I wasn’t as keen about: The doors are HEAVY, so I was constantly woken up by people coming and going from the dorm. It also doesn’t feel like a community, as you’d expect from a hostel, more just a collection of individuals trying to ignore each other. I’d hoped to meet more people.
Luke Franco: great place, clean friendly and central, get more than what you pay for!Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Avery Miller: I’ve stayed here twice now, both with friends, and this is my go-to spot. Cheapest option in Boston and in the funnest location possible with everything just a couple steps away. Floor 2 is a great hangout spot with a pool table, study nooks, and a kitchen with cereal and bagels + a larger dining room area with an amazing view of the blocks in front of the hostel. Friendliest staff EVER. They are super accommodating and worked with me and my friends changing flight schedules over the phone and e-mail. The staff love to chat and converse about where you’re from and your plans. Bathrooms are always extremely clean it feels like showering at home. The crowd for this hostel is mostly college age and sometimes older. All the hostelers have great etiquette as well. The friends I took here for the first time absolutely loved it and I 100% recommend choosing this place for a group over a hotel! It’s the best place to stay if you want to focus on the city and just have a place to rest at night. Will always recommend this spot over any other hotel.Cons:Walls are thin and you can hear conversations in other rooms thru the walls and vents but it’s fine with ear buds.Rooms: Great dorm style rooms. Extremely clean and organized. Convenient locker spaces and extra storage + an outlet at the head of your bed. The separations between bunks makes for great privacy from other hostelers, it didn’t even feel like I was sleeping with 2 strangers across the room.Nearby activities: There’s 4 clubs right less than a 4 minute walk away if you’re into nightlife. It’s right next to Chinatown so there’s a million cheap food options and it’s 2 blocks away from the Boston Commons + the T so it’s super easy to explore and get a feel for the city. Very accessible !!Walkability: Extremely walkable. The only thing separating you from the city is the front door. Everything is seconds away.
Jonathon Addington: Fantastic service, great rooms and fantastic value!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Bart Bial: SuperRooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Felix Riether: VERY good location close to subways and train station. Room (had a private room) are spacious. As you would expect from a hostel there’s no room service or housekeeping during the stay. Pretty clean as well. Minus one star for still being pricey but adequate compared to a full service hotel.
Can AYAZ: We came for Boston Marathon and normally we did enjoyed everything. however i lost my heart rate monitor in kitchen when I realized is gone I checked in kitchen it wasn’t there so I did inform reception, if they should look camera record they might actually find it but they didn’t… I buyed new one 100 USD, After we checked out in hostel we have a Amazon delivery. so we came for our cargo for take it. There is old guy with white hair he is behaving did to us too rude, he didn’t listen to us, we were hurry we need to catch our flight we just try to explain but he never listen to us…
Jennifer Scott: I stayed here for Boston Marathon weekend and had a fantastic experience. I was in a 6 bed dorm with 5 other women (3 from out of the country, 2 from the States) who all happened to be running the marathon too. Everyone was very respectful of one another and all the guests in general seemed to do well with adhering to the quiet hours. I also felt very safe. The dorm room itself was clean and organized. The lockers within the room were very large and had plenty of space to store a suitcase, purse, large backpack, with extra room to spare. I really liked the fact there were individual bathrooms and large a dining area where guests could store and cook food. Location was amazing and a half mile or less to the Common. One mile to the convention center for the expo and other marathon events. The staff was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful. Highly recommend staying here.
Cindy Herrera: This is a long overdue review but I am so grateful to the staff at this hostel! I left my AirPods on my bed and they sent them back to me via UPS. It was also a great experience in general.A nice, affordable option to visit Boston.
Kelli Dougal: Location is awesome--very close to T station. The facility itself was pretty nice as well. I'm taking off a couple stars for 2 reasons, though. 1) Unhelpful, unfriendly staff. The staff came off as very cold and unfriendly every time I interacted with them. This is not only the front desk staff but also the kitchen breakfast staff. When I checked in, they were unenthusiastic to help me and the few times I brought questions to the front desk staff they also appeared uninterested in providing helpful responses. 2) Issues with storing belongings in lockers. On the day I checked out, I asked about luggage storage for a few hours before my flight. They told me there were self-serve lockers in the back for $3. I paid for a locker, locked it, took my receipt and left. When I came back later I was surprised to find that my locker was wide open! Luckily, I had not left behind anything of much value, but I was still pretty shocked and unimpressed. If I'm going to pay for a locker I would hope it would at least stay locked. So, although the facilities and location were fine, overall I was less than impressed.
Art Blackburn: It's just OK. The lighting is dim and the hallways are kind of eerie. Most rooms are quads, for 6 or 8. Rooms are very "hard" looking with little fabric to soften the look. I find the guests to be on the snotty side when they really have no reason to be. Management/check in is cold and stand offish. Breakfasts are mostly carbs. It's an OK but nothing exciting. In an expensive city like Boston, you get what you pay for.
Josiah Devine Johnson: Great lobby area and solid kitchen and community space.Walkability: Near enough to the red-line which is an easy route to Harvard.Location: 3/5Hotel highlights Romantic, Quiet …More

Mattress Firm South Bay Plaza: what do users think?
Ayanna Beach: I went in to Mattress Firm on May 3rd 2023 the one by the South Bay Area I’ve never been into a mattress firm before so I was a little nervous but as soon as I came upstairs with my sister we were pleasantly surprised not only with the variety of mattresses but with how wonderful the service and employee was. Stuart Siden has to be one of the best and most down to earth sale representatives I’ve ever met. He was very patient and listened very intently to my needs when it came to a mattress and he helped me find the perfect mattress for my new apartment. He also explained that I have 120 days to try it out and if I don’t like it I can get a free exchange. I doubt I’ll be returning it but I would 100% return just to see Stuart and tell him just how wonderful the bed is and how much me and my sister appreciate him helping us the other day.
Keith Martin: Good choices, good prices, nice freebies. Good salesperson
Franklin Perez: Well recommend
Deborah Fulgiam: She was very professional..in fact she was EXCELLENT.GIVE HER A RAISE!!!
Donnette Henry: Knowledgeable and helpful advisors.
Robert Timmerman: There was only one clerk in the store at the time of my visit. I selected a mattress. This went smoothly, the clerk was courteous and helpful. When the clerk went to write up my order, the computer system would not let him finish the order. I waited about an hour [I really need a new mattress]. He brought somebody else in to help him write up the order. I came in at about 11:15 AM, and left at about 1 PM. Way too long for a simple transaction. If I was not loosing sleep due to a worn out mattress, I would have left. Only reason I stayed is that Mattress Firm is the closest mattress store to me. This is the last time I will shop there.
Kevin Bryan Lo: Tanny was so helpful, he discussed the differences between mattresses in detail. Helped us decide and buy on that same day. We are very happy with what we got
Haohao G.: I recently purchased a Tempurpedic mattress from this store for over $4,000. The purchasing process was quick and efficient, taking less than 20 minutes. I have been a loyal customer, purchasing mattresses for my family since 2016.However, the delivery experience was not up to my expectations. The delivery men from Red Carpet Delivery dragged the new mattress through the building hallway to my condo unit, causing concern for the carpet. Although there was no damage, I received complaints from building management. Additionally, the delivery men entered my bedroom without removing their shoes. To make matters worse, after the work was done, one of them put on a red plastic shoe cover and took a photo, pretending to be considerate of my clean floor. This was pretentious and disrespectful.Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the delivery process and would strongly recommend others to be very clear with the delivery expectations.
Nayquan Wallace: Quick nice and easy I called got it done in 1 2 3
George Silas: Great welcoming team support, very respectful and virtuous.
Ebenezer Sefah Jnr.: Tony was amazing! He took the time to let us try a lot of different beds to get a sense for what we were looking for and what worked best for us. We also got a better understanding of what we wanted. He was very patient and transparent about products and pricing which was refreshing. He also made my wife and I feel listened to in the process. It was a great experience.
Ryan Bartholomew: Tanny was very knowledgeable, patient, not pushy, and helped us find what I hope is a great long term mattress. The delivery process was great as well.
David Brady: I was in a hurry and they did there job quick and easy in and out job done Great no worries all complete 💯✅
Maryse Toney: I like the fact that you, can call in an order and the representative will tell you , when it will be delivered.....fast service.
Ociny Marius: This is a best place to buy your mattress.
THEY HATE Elshizzy: Zuem make the shopping easier and more thought on my choices but he was able to explain to me the differences between the choice of mattresses and the health value since I did inform him about my back issues, thank you again Zuem, can't wait to make another purchase.
Dairith Gonzalez: It was an amazing experience purchasing the mattress and bed base. Great customer service.
Deborah Decker: The customer care representative was exceedingly helpful in helping me choose the right mattress. I purchased a queen mattress that very day!
Tang Ziying: Wonderful shopping experience!
Dennis Avila: Great customer serviceAnd quick Service too
Cameron Boynton: Excellent

Richard W: Amazing hotel! Prime location, wonderful service, reasonable price compared to its neighbors. I couldn’t possibly have found a better hotel for my vacation in Boston. It’s in the center of many activities and is right by major train lines, making it very convenient to get in and out of the hotel for short rests.
Lisa Mchugh: Exceptional staff!!!! Can’t say enough about Dominique🌞What a gem!
stephanie williams: n/aRooms: VERY VERY SMALLSafety: felt safeWalkability: the center of everything
Chris Gill: The room was advertised as being small which I was fine with. But the headboard and adjacent closet had an inch of dust on it that got all over our stuff we had to put up there to keep away from our dog who stayed with us. The toilet was barely able to flush, needed several, long, flush attempts to even use it. The TV only worked for 50% of our short 2 night stay. Which was a huge disappointment. Almost all the time we spent in our room, we didn't have a basic amenity. Really disappointing for a 4 star hotel. Next time I think I'll save money and stay at a 3 star. I've had better experiences with "low quality" hotels than I did with Boston Park Plaza.
Bhupinder Atwal: These are the reasonswhy i am giving a low star ratings. Rented room here for three nights during the wedding regretted every minute of it the Stay. I am a world traveler never seen such a tiny rooms in my life.its a very old hotel but renovated recently its a clean hotel though. They charged us very high rate even with a group discount, rooms doors are so hard spring loaded every time you close make very loud noise, you can hear people through theWalls and closing doors, shower curtainsIn the washroom tub what a joke ,toilet are old school and tiny that my junk would touch water every time I used it,water would splash every where when washing or using sink, no free telephone line available, no breakfast was included even we paid more than other people, just basic TV channels, there was dirty window and complained to the front desk four times no body came even to look at it, couldn't open the window either, no shuttle to and from the airport provided. In other words it's not a premium hotel for $325 / night.Rooms: Tiny tiny roomsWalkability: Only 100 feet from the subway
Yicheng Zhao: This hotel took extra 502 dollars from my card by some “system error”and hasn’t been return to my card yet. I personally think the 75 dollars per night “accidental fee” is overpriced. Now I have a strong sense of danger and anxiety that my money was on hold by a third party and don’t know when it will come back. The Wi-Fi network is not working for 3 days and I have to use my personal hotspot to access the internet and even costed me extra money to buy extra data because I some work to do in the hotel. My first booking is 3 days and a separate booking for another night. The first day I checked in, the staff in the front desk told me everything is settled and I don’t need a second time to check in and check out. But on the third day I was told that my booking is ended. I took nearly an hour to settle this, asked for my bank card and ID again. I haven’t experienced anything worse than this during any hotel in my life time.
Pat Reagen: Wonderful experience. It was a pleasure to stay at the Boston Park Plaza. When you enter, you know that your stay is going to be a memorable one. Peter Drougas: Many reviews complain of small rooms. Aside from actually calling them wicked small rooms, they also post the square footage. These rooms are great for a one or two night stay. You shouldn't be in your room except to sleep, shower, fool around bit. Otherwise you should be seeing the sights!Staff was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. It was some of the other guests that were actually rude. Likely the very ones who wrote bad reviews. We already plan on staying here again in a few weeks! The open lobby to dinning area was too loud for us.
Fran Xxx: Older hotel. The room was small but clean. Housekeeping was aces. Breakfast and bar a tad expensive, but what isn't. Easy walking distance to many of the tourist sites.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Quiet …More

Zach Tripp: My wife and I visited Encore on a Saturday evening to hang out and have dinner. The free parking was awesome, thank you. We walked around the casino and watched the Kentucky Derby (without betting). Plenty of places to eat. We had dinner at shake shack. Skip the line and order at the kiosk. Then we went to Night Shift for a beer and dessert. This wasn't as good experience. We waited for ten in the doorway when waitresses walking by and ignoring us. Finally we sat ourselves and that waiter was very good. The grounds was excellent and we did the harbour walk which was nice.
Gary Lincoln: Over priced

Casino is clean and friendly. Fratelli's food is always delicious and convenient right off the casino floor.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ryan hamilton: I have personally stayed at encore 5-6 times and every single time I am more impressed with the staff, how clean the place is, and how amazing the atmosphere is. This last stay was my wife’s first time and she also agrees. We have stayed in many amazing hotels and this easily tops any 5 star hotels such as the Ritz ect. The spa is also the best spa we have ever been to! Amazing amazing place and If I could I would give it 10 stars!Safety: This place is much better then staying in the city or Boston. I lived in Massachusetts 31 years.
Nicole Moore: Absolutely stunning! The hotel, the casino, everything! Went to mystique while there, the drinks were amazing, great music, and fantastic service! Definitely will go back!Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Ronnie Kassiff: Fun spot to gamble. Don't love the club but the tables are fun.

Copley House: what do users think?
Gator Dragon: Such a cute, roomy place to stay in a gorgeous part of Boston. Close to food, alcohol, shops. Super clean, lovely bathroom and kitchen facilities. If I come back to Boston, I will try to stay here again.Rooms: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5 …More
Christine Hughes: We came here for the Boston Marathon and I can say it was the perfect location. We were walking distance to everything, the T is .2 from the apartments. It was about a 1/2 mile to the race finish line. So many great restaurants and shopping. And a great coffee shoppe down the street. Our room was clean, we had a little kitchen, 3 of us stayed in a room with a queen bed and sleeper sofa. If I had to stay in my room I’d probably feel claustrophobic but we really were there to eat some breakfast and sleep. The downside is no front desk at night until 9 am. You don’t get new sheets every day or towels ( but you can you just have to ask). All the staff were so friendly & they even had a complimentary bbq for the marathoners day afternoon. I would recommend staying here if you want to experience all of BostonWalkability: You can walk to everything from here! And the T is down the road.
Jacqueline Blue: Booked this hotel because it looked super cute online and who doesn't want to stay in a brownstone when going to Boston right? Well, BEWARE...the first night we stayed in a room that had a broken wall unit which meant no AC during the day and no heat at night. We also woke up to NO hot water for showers and had to take freezing cold showers that next morning. Also, the walls and ceilings are paper thin so if you get stuck in the room right at the front door or have noisy people upstairs, you won't be getting any sleep. There is also A LOT that goes on at night in that area..lots of police cars/ambulances especially being right there close to Mass ave aka methidone Mile (stay away). We requested a new room in which the front desk had no issue in giving us in a new building. This time we woke up to ants in our room crawling everywhere even in our bed as well as a lady having a seizure outside our window that night so lots of noise again on the streets constantly. We then requested yet ANOTHER room for that next night. The front desk again allowed us to move a room over. All together I will say the front desk was helpful and even gave us a refund for one night BUT I won't be staying there again. Having to pack up TWICE to change rooms was super frustrating and we barely got any sleep at night. It's in a prime spot in Back Bay BUT I wouldn't advise walking around to get to places especially after it gets dark because you're so close to Mass Ave. Also another annoying thing was the front desk only being available 9a-9p so when we had the issue of noisy people upstairs, no hot water, and the ants, we had to WAIT to call for assistance. Next time I visit Boston I will be staying in an actual hotel.
Kevin Reed: Great location, horrible accommodations. Do yourself a favor, don’t stay here. Unpainted plaster in the bathroom, nails sticking up from the floor, leaking fixtures and yucky smell. For $200 a night? Nope.
Muitas toalhas. Amei
Tiffany Lindsey: Clean, quiet, safe, well-appointed, kindly staffed and in a great neighborhood.
Alison Gill: A very reasonable place to stay in central Boston! We stayed for three nights. Self check in was easy as we arrived after 9pm. Room was modern and had all the required amenities. It was a bit dirty, particularly behind the bed which looked like it had never been cleaned (we found a bar of soap and someone's lip balm as well as other gunk?!) and there were hairs in the bathroom. It was also absolutely baking hot. Location was fantastic. It was very bright and not quiet - we could hear people in the room above and were woken up at 4am when they must've gone to the bathroom. Also got woken up by the staff member listening to videos very loudly in the office which was next door to our room. Despite these things, it was a good stay. Would've been perfect if not for the few little things!
John Wagner: My wife and I stayed 2 nights in mid December on our way through town. Having spent time in Europe I must say my wife and I could live in the studio we had very happily. It was as nice as some we in over there. We had a fully serviceable kitchenette with stovetop, toaster oven, full size refrigerator/freezer, microwave, and kitchen sink. The built in bookcases were a nice homey touch even without books. We will defiantly stay here again!
Aw tk: I am writing this on behalf of my friend and I, as it was went down poorly for both of us. I had a friend who is coming into town this month and she needed a pet-friendly hotel as she was bringing her small dog with her. Her dog has a special condition (that may restrict the dog from the building for medical reasons that go beyond pet rules), so I called various pet-friendly hotels ahead of time to find something for them as I knew the area better. I actually had a great start, I called late october and asked whether the dog's condition could prevent my friend from booking, and they double-checked because they weren't 100% sure. They even put me on the line with Christian (or just Chris?, a higher level manager I assume) and from what I described he very politely said it shouldn't be an issue. I then included Copley House on my list for my friend so she could choose a pet-friendly hotel.A few days later (it must have been around november 1st, I think that day exactly) I call and a different employee (who did not identify herself, which I regret now) picked up and I just asked to confirm what I was told by the staff and manager a few days earlier, just to double-check before my friend booked. The lady was extremely rude to me and told me to send "those kinds of questions through our email". I was being polite, I didn't even lose my temper, but she was very annoyed and I don't know why. She didn't answer my questions and rushed the phone call to hang up. While the rest of the staff was helpful (or did their best to at least TRY!) and professional when I was calling about this ahead of time, this lady was very rude and made it seem like I wasn't important enough to stay there or she didn't want me there.Well it worked! I had to re-organize with the Colonnade and my friend booked a room there for her stay. Who was this lady and why was she so angry at me for asking a serious question about a potential booking. Maybe next time if she's not there I'll try again and my friend and I will give it a proper review, but this rude lady pushed me into warning my friend to not book with them. Sorry to the rest of the team I have to leave this review, they were great at least on the phone with my questions.
Eugenia Bunch: We booked for a week. Had a deluxe studio on St. Stephens. It was so nice to not be in a hotel and in a neighborhood with such character. We really liked the accommodations, but had a little bit of trouble with the temperature in the apartment. We tend to like our sleeping areas very cool and even though we ran the AC it still did not keep it cool enough for us. It was very close to the T and we would catch the T every morning to head out for excursions. If we ever make it back to Boston we will definitely look at staying here again.
Mary Beth Paxton: We had a wonderful stay at Copley House! Our family of 4 (2 adults and 2 teenagers) from Tennessee, stayed in a 1 bedroom suite. The couch had a hideaway bed. The beds were very comfortable! The apartment was very clean and well stocked. The area is so charming and located close to everything! There was a Star Market very close and a 7-eleven on the corner near the apartment. The staff at Copley House were great. We arrived early and they let us leave our luggage and go explore. When we arrived back to the apartment that evening, our luggage was in our room. They had even told us that they would hold our luggage after check out if need be! I had worried about not staying in a traditional hotel, but I'm so happy that we gave this a shot! We will definitely be back! Thank you Copley House!
Dagobert D.: Wir hatten ein schön eingerichtetes sauberes Apartment in zentraler Lage. Die Wände sind dünn, man hört die Nachbarn auf dem Gang und von oben, wenn sie laufen.
Rahul Kande: Very good place. I enjoyed my stay. But there r some catches, read my full review.NOTE: they own multiple properties within the distance of a couple of blocks, and also there are different types of rooms. So, if u want the best room fr ur needs, call them and discuss what u want. They are accommodating. I am giving 5 star based on what I got. Check my list of pros and cons to see what my room had.Pros:- awesome location- the staff is super friendly and accomodating- check in and check out is easy- u get AC, private full bathroom, wifi, towels & toiletries, stove, microwave, mini oven, dishes & cutlery, iron & stand, hair dryer, coffee maker, mini fridge, and TV- the room is spacious. It is essentially a single bed studio apartment! U have kitchen area, dining table, small closet and full bathroom. There r 3 windows with privacy blinds so u get lots of ventilation if needed.- bathrooms are very clean. Bed and sheets were not bad, arranged like a normal hotel bed.- they have a washer and dryer (I think $2 per wash) like we have in condos in the common area of the apartment- THEY MADE A NICE FLOWER WITH THE TOILET PAPER (check my pictures). I mean, u can say it's silly, but it shows they really care abt our stay 😍Cons:- it's not a hotel, it's like condos and kind of old with wooden furniture. But I didn't really have any issues staying here fr 2 days. It just doesn't look fancy.- the split AC gets too loud, but only some times, like fr 10secs every 20min. I had no issues with that.- wifi is kind of slow. But, it's ok fr simple web browsing- the TV cable connection said "no card inserted" in my room, but I dint want to watch anything, so I didn't care abt it.- the front desk is only available 9am to 9pm, but it wasn't an issue fr me as I did all the communication in that time.- I don't think they have room service everyday - check with them once. I didn't need it, so I didn't askThis is a hidden gem, consider it fr ur next trip to Boston :)
Angela Kunkel: Pros: Beautiful neighborhood, convenient location, parking directly behind the building we were staying in.Cons: We booked Copley House specifically because we wanted a one bedroom suite. When we got to our room, we arrived to find that the "one bedroom" was merely a dividing wall between the bed and the rest of the room. There was no door and no privacy. I spoke to the front desk about it and was told "that's what we call a one bedroom suite." While they gave me the keys to check two other rooms, those rooms were also not one bedroom suites, and they would not do anything else to remedy the situation, despite me asking for management to follow up. They also charged us more for parking than was listed on their website and would not adjust that rate either, saying it was due to "inflation." The kitchen drawers were dirty and had crumbs in them, there was no dishwasher detergent, and no replacement of K cups or towels while we were there. Photos below show the two open doors to the "bedroom" and the space between the wall and the bed--- you need to walk into the living room and around in order to get to the other side of the bedroom. There are no dressers in which to store items, so all clothes need to be hung or in your luggage on the floor. It was not the worst place I've ever stayed, and we loved the location, but for the price the staff could be a bit more attentive and ACCURATELY represent their rooms and rates.
jamila dholkawala: I checked out today and must say that a few ppl at the office are really cold and unwelcoming. The internet was horrible and in spite of me telling them there was no difference. There were flies in my room and cudnt get rid of them. The room service is not good.Bottom line - if you have no other option only then chose Copley house.
E L: There was no shower door! they clearly tried to repair the wall next to the shower because there was visible sheetrocking, but that doesn’t solve the obvious Lack Of Door. Our room was directly under the bathroom of the room above, so we got to listen to calming waterfall noises of feces all night. Nice location, beautiful park and building overall, but the thing you’re paying for is the most lacking. Good kitchen though!

Hyatt Regency Boston Harbor: what do users think?
Julianna K: I honestly don’t know what makes this hotel a 4 star hotel. Ya the rooms were clean but that’s it. They nickel and dime you everywhere, the front desk didn’t know any of the answers I asked (even the parking), i could understand if she was training but I don’t think that was it. Restaurant was not worth the money and the room views were not that great. Disappointed that there was no where to sit outside, would have been nice to have coffee out there. For the amount we paid, we could have stayed somewhere closer to central Boston.

Gary Gary: Very nice place to relax. Thank you for being here for all of us.
Sunny Cedar: fraudulent pricing
Sarah Townsend: The views from this hotel were outstanding, the rooms were nice, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast options were very good. We got our breakfast To Go each day which was half price in comparison to dining in the restaurant. My biggest complaints are the fact that housekeeping was inconsistent. On our first full day, the room was cleaned/restocked, and when it was not cleaned the next day, we were told housekeeping is only available per request since the pandemic. We weren’t told this at check-in nor did we request it the day before when it happened so were confused. The staff, however, were very nice and helpful for the most part. The other drawback of this hotel is the location. If you want to just get out and walk around in Boston, this isn’t the spot as you have to either take the hotel shuttle to the airport to catch the train into town (very inexpensive but takes a while depending on where you want to go) or Uber/Lyft which is quick but gets pricey if doing this repeatedly for several days. Overall, it was a good stay but we’ll likely stay in a more central location the next time we visit this great city. Tip: go for a long weekend in April when the Marathon is happening as there’s so much going on and it’s lots of fun!
Vedant Daga: great view of both the city and the airport and fascinating walk along the waterfront. room was spacious and comfortable. nearby is the airport but you can't hear any of the flights so that's a plus. you can also take the ferry across to the city or a bus to the subway and get to the city that wayRooms: spacious and comfortable room with good viewNearby activities: ferry and waterfront view

The Bostonian Boston: what do users think?
Cecilia S: Rooms were nice, nothing nasty and mostly clean. Wall paper was peeling off but it's old!! Had a great view with a balcony. Very centrally located. For the little amount of time in the room, it was satisfactory, needs remodel and more lighting in the waiting lounge area. Its a 3 star hotel for $387/ night (crazy) . The Bathroom on #7th floor had mold. Beds were pretty comfy. I only saw the receptionist so can't comment on staff?!

Mike Stugard: Breakfast wasnt horrible but happy we didn't have dinner... Elizabeth T: The hotel rooms need a serious upgrade:- I found 2 ants on my bed when I arrived (see video)- the ceiling paint is peeling- the vanity is way too small. No room for more than 2 toothbrushes and 1 very small makeup bag. No room for more- the bathtub is too wide and too high. Risk of falling- the tub floor is stained with accumulated filth- the 80's is screaming to get their beige toilet back! It's completely out of style.- the shower head is worn and some jets are projecting water all over- the room floors are still covered with old carpet. Updated hotels use combination of wood and tile- the view was awful- some windows clearly needed to be replaced- the hotel is quite ordinary. My traveling partner was stunned when I mentioned this hotel was rated 4-stars. He thought it was a 3-star hotel. The lobby is the prettiest thing in the hotel. It only goes down from there. The elevators are quite fast. We never waited long at all.Great service from staff. The neighborhood is incredibly noisy. Be ready to hear music and beats until 2-3 am.Nearby activities: The hotel is Centrally located. So there's tons to do and easy accessSafety: Very safe neighborhoodWalkability: Walkable to everywhere
Rohit Chimata: Amazing area of Boston to be in if you care at all about being central to things that are happening. Hotel is clean, rooms are very nice and the balcony views here you won’t get anywhere else. Not to mention front desk service was impeccable. All of my needs/questions handled with care and speed. Definitely my hotel of choice in Boston going forward.Rooms: Balcony views are impeccable. Rooms are standard as you’d find but very well thought out. Large bathrooms!Nearby activities: Boston market, Quincy market, Faneuil hall, aquarium and so so much moreSafety: Very safe hotel in a very safe part of Boston. The north end is known for being tourist central and this is exactly that.Walkability: You’re in the northend. Shops, good food, department store - all extremely close by walk. No Uber needed
Ashley Weithers: This is a great Hotel to stay. The front desk staff is very helpful. Room service is amazing. I will definitely come back. Loved the history of Boston and this hotel is close to everything you need to see. All museums, statues and visiting sites (historical) are with in walking distance. I’m super glad I picked here. See you soon Bostonian !Rooms: BalconyWalkability: Everything is within 1-10 minute walk. No need to drive and use car constantlyFood & drinks: AmazingThe restaurant has wonderful food
Thorsten Ruppert: Tolle Lage in Boston, schönes Zimmer.
José Ibarra: I recommend against doing business with this hotel. I tried to book a reservation and I received an error/declined message and no confirmation of booking. I made other plans, only to have them charge me $700 for a missed booking today. When I contacted them, Lina from Reservations was extremely hostile. She refused to do anything. This has caused me a big headache and I hope you can avoid the same.
Chloe Lee: I was using the bathroom some kid peeks under and starts saying "ewwwww you smell!" i didn't get into argument so i just told why. IT WAS THE TACO BELL! IM TELLING YOU IT IS THE BEEF TACO WITH TOMATO SAUCE. DON'T RECOMMEND!!!Rooms: 1/5|Service: 1/5|Location: 1/5 …More

Alexis Yohros: As a guest who recently stayed at the Bostonian Hotel, I must say that my experience was subpar, to say the least. The first issue we encountered was that the rooms had a very unpleasant, musty smell that was quite off-putting. Additionally, we found that the air conditioning unit in our room was not functioning correctly. When the unit did finally turn on, it was incredibly loud and disturbed our sleep.Another problem we encountered was with the size of the beds in our room. The beds were extremely small and could not comfortably accommodate two people, making for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. The walls of the room were also very thin and did very little to block out the sounds coming from the neighboring rooms. We were able to hear people having intercourse and using the bathroom, which was incredibly concerning and made for a very uncomfortable stay. The shower in the room was yet another source of frustration. It took an incredibly long time for the water to heat up, and once it did, there was not much pressure at all. Additionally, we found it unacceptable that the hotel charged extra for any amenities. The most disappointing aspect of our stay at the Bostonian was the lack of assistance provided by the front desk. We requested a different room but were refused and were not offered any type of refund when we decided to leave and stay at a different hotel. The lack of attention paid to our needs left us feeling undervalued and made for a very frustrating experience. In summary, while the location of the Bostonian Hotel was convenient, our stay was dampened by numerous unpleasant factors. The musty odor, loud air conditioning, uncomfortable beds, lack of privacy, poor shower condition, and lack of amenities, coupled with the subpar customer service, made our stay at the Bostonian not worth the price. I cannot recommend this hotel and would suggest finding alternative accommodation options in the area.

Why Ask: Hotel is a racist horrible establishment!!!There was a mix up with a reservation and once Carla (manager) and Franey at the front desk realized they were accomodating a Black woman, immediately refused to assist. To add insult to injury Franey, made a false statement against me as a person!!Once the 3rd party company rectified the reservation and corrected the mistake on their end, another reservation was secured. To make matters worse and confirm the racism, I went to check in and Elizabeth advised me that the establishment did not want to service me! There was an immediate request for why and no reason was supplied! But Elizabeth was clear to state security would escort me out!!!For no other reason than me being a Black woman checking into an establishment steeped with history of racism!!!

Philip Kurle: Very nice, old, historic hotel. Reminds me of, for instance, the Palmer House in Chicago. On the other hand, that makes it a little small. It has early 20th century styling. I'm here for 7 days for a conference. There is a shuttle to the Boston Convention Center (At least for this convention), about a mile away. I brought my 22-year-old daughter with me, and she has been doing some sightseeing. It has seemed that Parker's Bar, which I wanted to check out, is always closed. Parker's Restaurant has been open, but there is usually a line to get in. The rooms are very nice, but a little small, as mentioned. The location is great. About a block from Boston Commons, right near Summer Street, with all its places to eat. About a half mile from Chinatown. It isn't far to walk anywhere in Boston's hub. The front desk folks are very accommodating. There is a very kind doorman.Nearby activities: Basically in the middle of the city center.Walkability: If you can walk a mile, you can go about any place that a tourist would want to go in Boston.
Angie Mazen: It’s a lovely historic hotel, but as the other reviewers said, it is quite old and the room is very small. That said, they did their best to transform this old hotel into something elegant. For anyone considering staying here, know that it is very noisy. I can hear the people on the other side of the wall as if they are in my room. I can literally hear the entire conversation they are having. If someone walks in the hallway and talks, that’s even worse, somehow the sound is amplified. I had to turn on the heat to create white noise, but then it was so hot in my room.So if you are sensitive to noise, just know that this is a major issue here. Everything else is manageable.
Carmen M: Party, on Saturday night, at Terace Ballroom, very loud and very disturbing. Impossible to sleep. The reception staff did nothing. Do not stay on the 14th floor, or even better, don't stay here.
蕭千惠: 這家是波士頓派的創始店。跟在台灣吃到的波士頓派差很多,口感比較綿密,搭配巧克力醬很好吃,奶油很香很新鮮,草莓也很甜。
james torkington: Brilliant hotel,it's old and may be could do with a lick of paint but it's got history.staff are really friendly and helpful .sits in the heart of the city close to all attractions. Would easily stay here again.Rooms: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Location: 5/5Hotel highlights Luxury …More
Dustin C.T. Morris: The staff is warm and courteous to everyone, and the lobby has plenty of historical opulence. It's clear that this hotel is a historical mainstay of this city. The location is wonderful, and Boston is truly a beautiful city to visit, but, sadly, the Omni Parker Hotel falls a few stars short of the four star hotel experience.I came to Boston to run the marathon, with probably the majority of the other guests that weekend. Unfortunately the hotel was not prepared to accommodate our needs for a functioning elevator. During my entire stay only one of their four elevators was available. Nothing makes you more miserable than having to carry your luggage down 8 flights of stairs after racing 26.2 miles.Rooms: Our queen bed sized room gave us barely any room to do anything more than sleep and stare at the peeling wallpaper or chipping paint. The grout in the shower was moldy, which complemented the chipped mirror. Our bed was missing a fitted sheet, and the window dressings and carpet were incredibly out dated.Food & drinks: I ordered a pasta dinner from the hotel's restaurant, The Last Hurrah, and the pasta had clearly just been left under a warming light. It was lukewarm, at best, and the whole dish lacked any flavor.
