Dance in Boston: what do users think?
Norma Heine: Quiero tomar clases de baile para Séniors como ejercicio..
Elektra Alivisatos: We found Michele online to help us prepare for our first dance at our wedding. We had never done any formal dance lessons together but had a vision of what we wanted. Michele did an excellent job choreographing our dance to meet our abilities and preferences, including adjusting the music speed! We looked forward (and miss them!) to our lessons with Michele which were often filled with lots of laughter. Highly recommend working with Michele if you're ready to show off some moves for any occasion!
Melissa Grasso: Michele was literally the best part about planning the wedding. The only thing we wanted was a choreographed dance and she made it happen in 10 weeks (you don't need that much, we just wanted the extra time). She'll take you from zero to whatever level you want to get to. We really looked forward to our lesson every week. It was fun and Michele is hilarious. Couldn't recommend more highly. We're planning to return to take regular lessons for fun.
Jessica Olans: Michele was so much fun! She was patient with me and my husband who have zero coordination or dance past. It was truly a pleasure getting to spend time with Michele at the studio each week leading up to our wedding. We were in need of one more practice and she had us at her home which was above and beyond!! Thank you Michele!
Katie Way: Michele is amazing!! Before meeting Michelle, my now husband and I had no idea even how to box step which was nerve-wracking going into our wedding. But over 6 lessons, she helped ingrain the proper steps and the rhythm (well my husband still struggles with rhythm but thats a different story). Michele was fun to work with, she was very lively and observant. By the time our dance came around we both felt comfortable and ended up having a blast. She even helped us with a few spins/twirls which our guests loved. We highly recommend Michele for anyone looking for dance lessons! Thank you!
Trevor Schwartz: Michele is amazing! She taught my mother and me our mother-son wedding dance twice, 10 years apart (once for the wedding and again for my mom’s 70th). Michele was quick to assess our ability and teach us appropriate moves. We loved her creativity and easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend!
Emily Cannizzaro: We had the best experience working with Michele. My now husband and I were nervous about our first dance. We knew we didn’t want to slow dance back and forth like we were back in middle school. We also knew nothing about dancing and struggled to even do the basic box step when we first started our lessons. We were intimidated and unsure if we could pull off a real choreographed dance. We decided to trust the process and Michele and slowly the lessons became easier and more fun than ever. It was a perfect date night to get away from the craziness of wedding planning. We’ll never forget this dance. The pictures, videos and looks on our guests faces will be memories we cherish forever. We can’t thank you enough Michele for our perfect first dance! Highly recommend this studio and you won’t be disappointed if you choreograph a dance for your big day with Michele!
David R: We loved working with Michele! We came to her with literally zero dance experience. She was welcoming and encouraging, and choreographed a simple and fun dance that we loved. Michele was also flexible when we almost changed our song with two weeks to go, helping us explore some new ideas before we eventually came back to our original song. We are so happy we found her!
Brady Lenahan: Michele does a great job. We enjoyed the lessons and the dance was a success on wedding day :)
Ryan Callanan: We couldn't have been happier with our experience with Michele! She made us feel comfortable and gave us little tricks to remember our dance moves. We didn't do a choreographed dance but she gave us the tools we needed to make us look like we did! To all the engaged couples preparing for their first dance, GO SEE MICHELE!
Catherine Mills: We found Michele on Yelp and the wonderful reviews are all true. She was so much fun to work with and our dance lesson date nights were a blast. Michele took two people with four left feet and helped us learn a fun a beautiful first dance for our wedding. She pushed us out of our comfort zones and taught us a lift that shocked every one of our wedding guests!
Brian Hanafin: Michele was a fantastic dance instructor! She tailored our lessons exactly as we were looking for and we are now well prepared for our wedding in just a few short weeks. Could not recommend her enough!
Juan Arcila: Michele is a fantastic teacher! She is personable, patient, and makes the classes very fun! We looked forward to her classes every week while we practiced for our wedding dance. We can’t wait to perform it! I highly recommend Michele!
Emily Geller: Highly recommend working with Michele at Dance in Boston if you want to learn or improve your dancing. We saw her for several private dance lessons to learn a dance for our wedding. I’m not very coordinated and had never taken a lesson before and Michele did wonders teaching me and being patient as I learned. I’m shocked how much I improved and so quickly. We felt so confident doing our dance and dancing the rest of the night at our wedding. Already been using the techniques at other events too. We had so much fun at all the lessons and have already recommended her to our friends! Super helpful she has evening classes which made it easy to fit in the few months before our wedding.
Conor Moore: My fiancé and I did 5 lessons for our 1st dance. We were both very self conscious about our dance ability and by the end, totally confident and ready for our wedding! Michele is a phenomenal teacher, I truly couldn’t believe the progress we made in a few weeks. Would highly recommend!!
David O'Connor: Michele is awesome! My wife and I used her to prepare for our first dance at our wedding, and she made the whole experience so relaxing and enjoyable. She instantly made us feel comfortable, and we shared plenty of laughs along the way, not to mention successfully taught us a great dance! Would highly recommend! We also love her dogs :)
Jen Hickey: My fiancé and I took dance lessons here for our wedding dance and had an awesome time with Michelle. She was kind, helpful and informative- we loved the classes and working with her!
mike n: My wife and I took lessons for our daughters wedding. Our Daughter and son in law also took lessons. Michelle is great!!! Great communicator and teacher.
Jordan k: Had a wonderful time practicing our first dance here. Michele is a great teacher
Marianne Gorski: Michele said she makes ballroom dancing fun and she was right! Looking forward to our first dance thanks to Michele.
Felipe: Michele is a fantastic patient instructor with great vision on how to arrange a dance, and above all patience for those of us who are less skilled in the dancing arts. Over four lessons she helped us put together a gorgeous routine that impressed all our guests, and which made us feel good about ourselves on the dancefloor, including several turns that looked technically challenging and which proved to be a breeze under her tutelage. She also did a great job of defraying our nerves and making sure we were properly prepared.Absolutely recommend her for any and all dancing needs.

Bridget Coogan: My daughter took Urbanity dance classes and it is the way dance lessons SHOULD be. They classes are fun and great exercise. The communication and admin processes were all really smooth too, which I really appreciate as a parent.
jennifer young: Awesome, steps, dancing with to different types of music.
JOSE AGUILAR: Love the class options and learning structure. Great place to level up the dance skills!
Cecile Braun-Jones: We live urbanity dance! So much so that after moving out of the city and trying other studios we decided it was worth the commute to come back to urbanity. The faculty is super.niceThey know their students and can advice an class placement. Our daughter loves all her classes there and it has h lord her maintain a positive body image as well.I also love that urbanity is involved in so many community programs and committed to make dance accessible to everyone.
Shawn Fitzgibbon: Great location! Excellent for more than just a rehearsal space. The atmosphere and intimacy adds to the experience of whatever you're working on. Will definitely use this space again.
Ryan Nevel: Urbanity is wonderful. Almost everyone I have interacted with is down to earth and professional. I took the summer beginner contemporary class with Dorothy Cherry—Wow! We met once a week for 10 weeks and I looked forward to every class. She is a natural teacher and a highly gifted dancer. Her classes flow with a beautiful mix of creativity, laughter, expression and skill building. There is also a sort of magical, spiritual element to her style that is very special. I look forward to taking more classes at Urbanity, especially with Dorothy.
Siris Matei-Zsok: Had a terrible experience with them, and now I am also $100.00 lighter, it might not be much for some people, but for a single mom is food for more than a week. Will never ever consider!
starkia benbow: Best place to dance young and old. If your looking for summer camp, dance school, for the fall log on and sign up. If you you dont want to dance but want to check out the web site please do urbanitydance and give a donation to help our scholarsip fund.I'm taking 3 adult classes now for the summer 10 week sessions and having so much fun. 🤗😁💃🏿💃🏿
David Karger: Best dance class in Boston!
Uriel Sepulveda: Nice place
Kayla Kirk: I looked into Urbanity on a whim when I met some instructors at a neighborhood block party. Two years later, I have taken classes in both contemporary and hip hop and am now a part of their adult dance crew. Urbanity's instructors are incredible artists and I'm lucky to be learning and honing my dance skills from them. The community is also great and I've made many friends from my classes.
Alyssa McBryar: I've always had an interest in dance but little formal class experience. I'm so glad I went for it in signing up for 2 10 week Hip Hop sessions. I absolutely LOVED my Urbanity experience with Jessie Alegria. She's absolutely amazing. The environment challenging, but more importantly: comfortable and empowering. Highly recommended for new and experienced dancers alike. The program director, Alison, is extremely responsive and professional, making the process easy and painless. I tell everyone who will listen that they should check Urbanity out.
Nick Botchan: I've been dancing at Urbanity in their adult 10-week sessions for a year and continue to be impressed and inspired by the organization. Instructors are top notch, both technically and in terms of fostering a great community within the classroom. I never expected to get so into dance, but through Urbanity it's slowly taking over my life.
Julie McCarthy: Incredibly fun, welcoming, supportive and energetic atmosphere. The teachers are great and the classes are at convenient times.
Joyful Clemantine Wamariya: Beautiful space & kind people

Gilded Studio Pole Dance and Fitness: what do users think?
Irina Manning: This was my first lesson at the studio and i really enjoyed it. I will probably book more classes there.
a very cute cat: I took a beginner burlesque group class and enjoyed it a lot!The studio is typical of what you would expect in a dance studio, it's well-maintained, clean and pleasant. The instructor's demonstration is clear and beautiful to look at. The acting tips are especially great -- for example, certain movement needs to be executed quickly, contrasting with certain slow moments, to create an intriguing dance.
Diana Nguyen: I have been SO keen on trying out any type of pole class for the longest time (3 years counting). I am so so so glad I found Gilded Studio thru ClassPass. I took the Intro to Floor Work class with Buster and I was immediately comfortable and so excited to learn. The class was NOT intimidating whatsoever-- even though this was my first time doing any sort of dance class in a studio as an adult-- the choreo was easy to pick up and so much fun to learn. I cannot wait to come back. PERDIODT
Jade Bolds: Clean studio, friendly staff and non-judgemental atmosphere. What more can you ask for?
Micah Savage: Would highly recommend this class for a girl's night or to boost your confidence. Our sweet instructor was thorough and very supportive. Can't wait for my next class
Tedra Green: So Me and my besty are on vacation, decided to take a pole dancing class, ok I live in Sharon ma, remember I live in Sharon ma, picked up my besty, our appointment was at 12pm got there at 11:50, my friend gets a text at 12:10, saying she had to cancel she was in the er, wow didn't even text me, I booked the class first, wasted my gas, and time. I am so upset, not professional at all.
Vincent: Jessica is an incredible trainer. She kept things interesting, and kept me motivated towards the goals we discussed. I still continue what I learned with her long after we finished working together. Miss my semi-weekly sessions!
Kelsie !: I went to my first class today and has no idea what to expect. I had a great time and recommend attending a class here. Jessica was such a great instructor and really took the time to help you and provide you with individual attention. Lastly again I highly recommend attending a class here !
Hannah Rogers: Gilded is one of my favorite places. Everyone is incrediblly nice and supportive, and they offer some of the best classes I've been to.
Luke Patrick King: Gilded has been so incredible for my relationship to exercise and my body. With a spine injury I was afraid I'd never be able to dance in a way that felt safe, but Jess has been so supportive in finding alternatives or encouraging me in a way that's felt safe and affirming. Having another queer person who always addresses me in a way that feels good has made me excited to come back week to week, and helped me enjoy movement because of how it feels rather than any weight loss goals.
David Kury: I started working with Jessica via her online zoom sessions about 4 weeks ago.I have been working from home for 7 months, due Covid/ Shelter in Place. My normal workout routine had fallen by the wayside. And my workstation was not set up ergonomically. Muscles atrophied a bit, especially my butt (glutes)! My girlfriend Alex recommended Jessica to help save my butt.Jessica has come up with fantastic exercises and stretches for my routine, which are producing results. She is great with communicating what is happening and why. She can see when my form is off and tells me how to correct it.I’m really glad to be working with her.
Duygu Tosun: I trained with Jessica for over two years. She absolutely changed not only my body but also my life! At age 40, she thought me how to integrate exercise into my life and how to appreciate the power of my body. She truly listens the needs of her clients, pays full attention to the form, and educate her clients while training. The most I miss though is her lovely smile and our conversations.
dale conour: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueJessica is sharp eyed when it comes to proper form, and clear eyed about assessing needs and planning regimens. She’s motivational, but also fun. I highly recommend her.
Sierra Cabezas: I started doing online personal training with Jessica and it's been amazing! I'm disabled with many health issues and they were always able to tailor a workout for my needs. With great communication and flexibility for what I can accomplish, I've started to build up much needed strength and stamina. I feel better for days after a workout instead of getting injured like I have with other training facilities. My health is in good hands with Jessica and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Meghan Chiampa: I have been taking classes w Gilded for over a month now and I'm already seeing amazing results with my strength and mobility after three months of stagnation. The classes are super fun and also challenging where it's not the same workout routine over and over, every class I learn something new. The instructor also pays attention to individual care in their classes, as someone with hyper-mobility issues, this is key for me.
Methanie Dempsay Binder: I met Jessica (aka Jynx, the business owner) while taking workout classes in San Francisco. I enjoyed her fun and focused style so much that I began personal training. Jess has taught me SO much over the years. I am now in my 50's (gasp) and Jess has done an amazing job of working with some of my physical limitations while pushing me to work harder than I thought possible. She also helped my husband get back to his old self after hip and shoulder surgery. We both love Jess! When Jess moved away to Boston, I was sad, but I am super happy now that I can take workout classes with her online again. Jess is curious and smart about the human anatomy. She is always looking to help her clients reach their goals in a goofy/fun and non-judgmental way. (Also, she LOVES puns.) Cannot recommend enough!!
Jess Barstis: I absolutely LOVE Gilded! The space itself is beautiful (and conveniently located, yes), but the biggest asset is definitely Jess/Jynx's incredible knowledge and passion for fitness for -every- body. The classes are both challenging and lots of fun. They have a deep understanding of the complexity of each individual's movement and ensures that they tailor their classes in such a way that the class is challenging for any level of fitness without being overwhelming.I've also been working with Jess/Jynx in personal training for the past several months, and the difference has been huge. As someone who was very physically active but constantly getting injured due to lack of proper form/general bodily awareness, I've already noticed a marked change in my strength and endurance (and my lower back is so much less painful!!!!).Between this and then deeply positive environment they foster for you to grow in, I really cannot recommend Gilded enough.
Peter Niemeier: I have worked with the proprietor of Gilded Studio for many years. They definitely know how to achieve results based on the needs of the individual by utilizing their knowledge of the human body. My understanding of my own body and my personal goal of being more flexible (overcoming issues related to tightness and bad posture) has improved. Ask for Jessica by name.

Hyde park dance academy: what do users think?
Sarah Fortino: Dance Academy is a second home for our child! They are a nurturing, and supportive community. If your child loves to dance this is a wonderful place for them to learn and grow.
Jeremy Hayes: Great people ! Couldn't be more happy with the service, price, and my daughter loves it.
Christina Leigh-Ann: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Tracey Howard: There are no words to describe how I feel about Dance Academy. It was a safe, loving, inspiring place for me to bring both my daughter and son to dance there. Both Terri and Corrine still have amazing relationships with my children even to this day and they have both decided to pursue other things in their adult lives. Dance Academy was the best place for my daughter thru her teenage years, and my son found his creative theatrical side at Dance Academy. I find the friends that I made at Dance Academy family and will always have Terri and Corrine In my life.
Meaghan Twohig: This place has been my second home for the past 22 years! Terri and Corrine are the two most loving, caring people in the world and go the extra mile for each and every student that walks through the door. I have had incredible experiences here and opportunities to perform in amazing places such as Bermuda and Disney World. This dance school has given me countless dance opportunities, self confidence, life long friends and most importantly, a second family!

Integrarte: what do users think?
Oneness: Their studio is not the biggest one in Boston area, but they are probably the most professional ballet teachers and dancers I met for adult ballet class, both Carlos and Erica are very nice and encouraging. Every time I took Erica’s class, I can feel her positive vibe. She did every demo throughly, every student, from very basic beginner level to very advance pre-professional one , will learn from her. She is very patient to correct your posture, and knows exactly those common mistakes students usually will make. For adult students like me, ballet is very good and important exercise for mind and body, and taking class in Integrarte is always a good experience.
Kevin J. Smith: Magnificent!
Maria Berte: My daughter just finished two weeks of summer intensive training at Integrarte, and we could not have chosen a better place. She found great ballet classes taught by Carlos Molina and Erica Cornejo, as well as an engaging Jazz class. The level of instruction is excellent; the teachers share their passion for dance create a very friendly, safe and kind environment where students feel encouraged to enjoy dancing, and explore their abilities.I highly recommend Integrarte.(A plus: This academy lets you choose the weeks of the summer in which to enroll, making it easier to plan trips and other family activities).
Jane W: It's one of the best and most welcoming places that I've been to. Carlos and Erica are so established but they are so nice. In some places, the teachers only correct the students who dance well, or they act like they're looking, but they never bother with less experienced students. But you know, those students are the ones who need the most help! The teachers here really teach with passion, and you can see that they are truly happy people, and their energy fills the studio. There is a real difference between taking class here versus working out with teachers don't make it, not try hard enough, and always complain about students. Good teachers like Erica and Carlos don't come around often. I am so grateful that they make this quality of teaching accessible to the general public.
Shennar “Zher” S: Great place!
Daneris Cruz: I take the beginner class on Thursday. Erica and Carlos take turns teaching and they are both very nice and provide a lot of corrections. It's amazing because they are world class dancers so it's lovely to watch them demo the steps.
Clara Rodriguez: I absolutely love the location and ambience of this beautiful ballet studio. As you walk in you get this feeling of old and new. I recently went to visit my younger sister at one of her ballet classes. Being her first time starting ballet this school not only offers a class for beginners but they offer a follow up class beginners 2 that helps those who still don't feel confident to start the next step level to ballet. My sister was star struck when she heard Erica Cornejo from the Boston ballet was the owner of this fairly new school and one of the instructors. As I delved into the location I was warmly greeted by the owners upon speaking to them they told me that they not only offer ballet but have Yoga classes, as well as very unique dance classes like salsa, and Baroque.

Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Cambridge: what do users think?
Michael Creedon: The teachers were very patient and supportive. We had fun at every lesson
Manasi Doshi: If you're looking for a neat, clean studio with friendly and professional instructors, this is your place. The dance program is catered to meet all types of student requirements - wedding dances to dance competitions with everything in between. I've been loving every thing about the studio: personal and group lessons, themed dance parties, and (the best part) the instructors. Rubin is fabulous! He introduced me to so many dances in a few short weeks while ensuring that I keep improving my technique. The instructors are all extremely skilled and great at what they do. All of my lessons with Christian, Lance, Dasha, Valerie, Dave, Mady have been excellent. And Natalie makes the whole experience perfect!
Larisa Gorbatova: Absolutely best choice for those who is fond of dancing! Very professional team and amazing atmosphere! I moved to Cambridge last November, and was looking for a dance school, where I could try various dance styles. Arthur Murray Cambridge had a lot of information on its website, unlike some of the other studios I tried, and Christian, one of the co-owners, responded very quickly to my request. In a week I became a student, and now it's kind of a second home to me as well as to some of my fellow students. The guys are doing fantastic job, not only teaching you how to dance, but also inspiring you to find your own way of dancing through life❤️
Tiffany Wong: Arthur Murray Cambridge is truly a gem of a studio. The staff is so professional and friendly and they really strive to make each lesson effective. My husband and I went originally to choreograph and learn our wedding dance but we've continued taking lessons over a year later! It's a great activity to do as a couple and I love feeling more comfortable with moving my body. Our instructor Lance is the BEST!! He knows everything. There are lots of group lessons as well so you can learn outside of your personal lessons. Mady is so fun, Ruben has so much flair and Dave breaks down topics so well. It's also such a joy to see Natalie's radiant personality at the desk every time I'm there! :)
Olaf Christensen: What a great place to be!When I entered the Arthur Murray Cambridge studio for the very first time I was just planning to take a few private dance lessons in preparation for our anniversary party. Needless to say, I got hooked immediately and haven’t stop dancing since. The instructors are fun, amazing and talented; always trying to accommodate my dancing skills and needs. Under Christian’s and Kia’s lead, they make this studio a unique, artistic but relaxed, yet vibrant place. I think that’s what attracts most of the students and makes socializing easy. You just want to be part of the team.In the beginning I was terrified to put myself out there, to dance in front of other people or to participate at any of the ( absolutely fun!) studio events, but the instructors helped me to feel comfortable, and build up my dancing self esteem. Now I can’t wait to dance my next solo and participate in bigger events like the Dance-O-Rama.Kudos to Natalie who always welcomes me with a smile, but most of all to my wonderful teachers! Rubin, you not only made me fall in love with Lindy Hop, but you also opened me up to a whole new world of dance! Lance, you add a special spark to every dance! My only regret is that I didn’t discover the Arthur Murray Cambridge Dance studio earlier!Isabella
Sumaiya Iqbal: Arthur Murray Dance studio at Cambridge is my happy place :)Starting to dance there was a part of my exploratory actions to find an activity and a place to be carefree, smile, perform, express myself, ... and love myself! And I found all of that in Arthur Murray Dance studio! My trainers, Rubin and Dave, are passionate, funny, caring, and above all, great dancers! But all the other staff are warm and welcoming. I highly, highly recommend Arthur Murray Dance studio at Cambridge!
Caroline Kerr: We started out taking lessons here for our wedding and stayed because it was a super fun community. The staff is all amazing and welcoming and it's a great place to learn to dance. They have social dance parties to practice your skills as well too!
Charlotte Slate: We had dance lessons before our wedding with Melissa and we can’t say enough about her. Melissa was so engaged, fun, PATIENT, and welcoming. She truly made us enjoy the whole process and helped us create the perfect and most fun dance for our wedding. Highly recommend taking lessons here!!
Anjanay Kumar: I've deeply enjoyed my time at Arthur Murray. The lessons are fantastic, but the larger offering of group, social variety, and skill classes are the real value proposition the studio offers. I went from being uncomfortable with partner dancing to able to hold my own in completely foreign dances based on my experiences over the course of 2 months at Arthur Murray, and I'm looking forward to the next two months and more.
Aimee Browne: I have had a wonderful experience at Arthur Murray of Cambridge. The community of dancers and teachers here are so kind and welcoming, it is a fan, relaxing and inspiring environment. The teachers listen to what you hope to achieve and tailor lessons to you specifically and work at a pace that is appropriate for you. I would highly recommend this studio if you're looking to learn!
Mia Tong: Arthur Murray looks nice from the outside but beware of constantly changing instructors and noisy surroundings. I got message reminders prior to lessons but an instructor contacted me via phone call to reschedule me and left a voicemail without confirming the new time. Then when I showed he waited ten minutes and feigned ignorance before letting me know that he left a message. It was a waste of my time as a customer and unprofessional behavior. The worst is that it was clear that it was prompted by a time that there was some tardiness on our side but to retaliate against the customer/client is not professional behavior and is rather rude and disrespectful. Overall it gave the sense of being uncoordinated because I was sent a message via IM which the instructor denied any knowledge of but was told in under 24 hrs via a voicemail of a different time and then told that the time that was confirmed via IM couldn't have possibly been scheduled, thus making it appear that it was my misunderstanding. Then we were condescended for missing the voicemail. It was unpleasant and bizarre, and meant to place blame on the customer/client.
Amanda Galeno: I had the most magical experience at this studio on a Friday night. I had been at the restaurant next door for what was supposed to be a first date...The gentleman did not show up. As I returned to my car a bit bummed and embarrassed, I looked up and saw the Arthur Murray studio.Inside were stunning chandeliers and people dancing beautifully. I decided to go in and check it out. I'm so glad I did. I was greeted by a welcoming, diverse, and extremely talented staff. When I explained what had happened they were able to create a lesson for me and I was on the dance floor smiling and twirling within 10 minutes. It was the perfect balance of fun and technique. They turned what could have been a depressing evening into a night of pure joy. I will definitely be returning to this studio.
Jane Smith: The first time I went I almost left because I was so nervous but I am very happy that I stayed. I was first greeted by Kat who is super nice. She introduced me to Christian who sat with me and asked me about why I was interested in dancing and explained my first lesson and then he introduced me to my instructor Tom. I have been going for a few weeks and now work with Lance. I didn’t think I would like having two instructors but I do like the different variety of teaching. When I am dancing I feel like a different person. I never thought I would be comfortable enough to stick with it. Everyone there is so patient and encouraging. I am so happy that I didn’t turn and leave and can’t wait to learn more!
Ada F.: Fun time with friendly and supportive everyone.
Raina Searles: Love taking dance classes here with my husband! We’ve been able to learn all the basics of dance and start advancing our skills.
Rachel Carron: I loved taking dance lessons here! Mac was a great and attentive dance teacher and kept things light and fun. We will be back for more lessons and social classes! The studio is awesome and attainable with offerings of free classes/events through Nift
Adam Kalai: Fun, friendly and skilled teachers. Helped me overcome my fear of dancing. Thanks!
Cambridge Ivy Inn: Outstanding and dedicated team of instructors that soon become your friends, leaders, and followers! All you need is the attitude - they supply the rest, the community, the joy of dancing, the muscle memory, and will babysit your lack of rhythm. It only takes a month to get out of the fog, to find your feet and hips. Price wise, I was skeptical at first - it is my nature, hahah. But if you take advantage of the many skills sessions offered for free, you will find it an amazing value. 6 stars !!! - Mark
Sam Naseef: We couldn't recommend Arthur Murray more highly! We wanted to prepare for our first wedding dance, and needed something to do while we were stuck inside over quarantine winter, so we turned to Arthur Murray and their virtual dance class offerings. Everyone we interacted with at Artur Murray was extremely talented, very helpful, and excited to help us in whatever way they could. We learned multiple dances that went along with our song, plus some other dances for quicker songs. The coaches also gave us a framework for the choreography so that we could have something to work from that made the dance look and feel great, and didn't require memorizing exactly what to do step by step for the entire song.It felt as though everyone at Arthur Murray was personally invested in making our first dance exactly what we wanted it to be.
Rose Iorillo: I've walked by this studio every day for the past couple of years, and finally had the chance to check it out after being gifted a couple of free lessons. I had SO MUCH FUN! My instructor was super outgoing and we laughed a lot, but he also was a very clear teacher. I have years of dance experience that for the most part was social dancing, so he really focused on the technique without making me feel overwhelmed. The lessons aren't cheap, and this is definitely a more professional focus as opposed to dancing casually, but as I mentioned, it's a lot of fun. Would recommend for someone interested in leveling up and/or showcasing a lot of different styles of dance.
An Phan: The studio is spacious, well kept, the air is clean with room filters, masks are mandated, hand sanitizers abound, attendance is limited to comply with Covid 19 regulations. The instructors Alex and Dan are highly qualified, energetic, friendly and flexible to students' schedule. I love coming to AM Dance studio in Cambridge for the energy of the place and the incredible learning experience from both individual instructions with extra added teachers and from useful group classes.

StyleMe Dance Studio: what do users think?
J P: If you want to pay for the ‘tough-love’ KPop trainee experience and have a 10 second clip to post on social media, this is the place for you. However, I did not enjoy my first time experience at StyleMe(Malden location).I would not use ‘attention to details’ to describe the teaching style, what I saw was utter destain for imperfection from the instructor. Her facial expression, tone, body language and overall mannerism screamed condescension and lack of patience. There is no words of encouragement, but multiple cases of individual student being called out for doing something wrong. At the end of the class, the instructor separated the class into groups and called her mother into the studio to film each group performing the choreography. When my group showed reluctance to go in front of the studio to be filmed, she lost her cool and hustled us to go to the front and dance for her video. She did not ask for consent to film, but we did not say anything about not wanting to be filmed either, so I guess that was on us.I have been to a similar class at another studio where the front row students clearly go to the class often and practice the choreography outside of class time. Despite of the similarity in class format and mixture of students’ levels, there was never a moment that I felt unwelcome at that class.I understand that there are many instructors teaching at StyleMe, and this one might be an exception(Saturday, Intro Level Jazz Funk class at Malden, not gonna call the instructor out here, but you can work out the finer details). Why offer drop in options when the instructor is clearly gatekeeping. Do not treat new students both as a revenue generating machine and an inconvenience. If an audition is required prior to attending the class, please state such prerequisite in the class description.
Irene Cocco: I have 2 teenager kids who started attending StyleMe studio since last month. They love the kpop class and it makes my heart happy to see them do something they really enjoy! 🙂
Marshall Tsien: when a studio owner would write multiple paragraphs stating their group lesson policy , probably not very customer friendly IMHO
Jane Yoon: Honestly really disappointed by the class I took at this studio. First, it's really overpriced ($28) for classes that aren't taught by trained instructors (at least the instructor I had obviously wasn't trained in hip-hop). I went alone because I don't have friends who dance hip-hop and no one spoke to me because they were all speaking Mandarin with each other. Super unwelcoming and I left in a terrible mood. If you're looking for a super casual college-student vibe and have friends to go with, this is probably your thing. If you're more trained and serious about dance, I'd suggest looking elsewhere--StyleMe just isn't worth the money.
Jane Wang: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismVery professional, communicative, and patient teachers and staff. Highly recommend Mia who has been responsible, committed to dancing and teaching.
Jono DiStefano: Positive:QualityLooks like the best dance studio of all time and to hve lots of fun
Ruiying Zhu: Teachers are super awesome! I enjoy dancing here!我学得比Ashley还开心😃
Ashley Liang: 学得很开心!
Elle Lee: The experience is disappointing … the class available on the level is overcrowded and much less than the website listed. while they kind of encourage me to buy a larger package and turn out to be a waste of money …communication is frustrating overall. I wouldn’t recommend this studio
coco fineryy: Everyone here is so niceee & I love the MV projects that they have, all the instructors are great dancers my favorites are Aaliyah & Isha !!! Definitely come here if your thinking about it 3
Jie Finch: I've been taking classes here for a while now and they're super fun!!!I started out with buying an individual class two times and then I realized I could really see myself coming more often, so I got an 8 class pass. Honestly, it was a great idea. It motivated me to put in the effort to go and at the end of every session I've been so happy I went! Most of my classes have been with Goushi, and he's super beginner friendly despite teaching dances that aren't simple. Everyone who works or teaches here has been super kind and cool! Cute and clean little place to learn dances, whether you like K-pop or not =D (also the studio manager is so sweet! T__T)
Renee Del Bene: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueMoutwei was my children dance instructor he was amazing with them they learned so quickly and built so much confidence within themselves he had great patience and always had a positive attitude wouldn't of wanted anyone else.
Gigi Niu: Super nice and professional dance teachers! Each teacher has her/his own way of teaching, and they offer very detailed instructions. They are open to questions and try to let every student catches. They also record at the end of classes and share to students, so we can practice at home if we want. There are various class types, and my favorites are K-pops, Jazz funk and Chinese classic. They also offer different levels of classes, so even if I have never learned K-pop before, I can still find the classes that fit me. I think the prices are very reasonable and I even made some friends there. The manager is very friendly and very helpful for organizing, posting, and announcing upcoming classes and events. Students can also join their MV projects, which looks super cool! Me and my roommates enjoyed a lot and are planning to continue learn dances in Style Me!!! Definitely come and try!
Qingyi Zhu: Amazing dance club!! They offer different types of dance classes with flexible schedules. Instructors are nice and experienced! Beginner friendly:)
Ana St. Louis: awesome!!
阿莲球Jen: Professional and friendly instructors. I registered for the private classes three months ago, Isha is a hard work who build up the confidence for dancing. The manager is also kind and supportive. The studio has all the types of dancers, especially kpop.I wish I could know this place earlier. 整个团队的老师都非常认真负责,讲解非常细致,包括身体力度收放和转换,同时还有好多种类的舞可以让我选择包括kpop, kpop人kpop魂hhhh,让我这种0基础学员也对舞蹈燃起热情了。
Gunnar Horve: StyleMe is a great dance studio!I've tried out several of their classes and have gone home feeling happy about learning a new dance each time.Classes are mostly drop-in, so you can show up whenever you want, without having to worry about being behind other students/not knowing how to do a dance already. There are a bunch of dance styles/instructors you can drop in for--I've had great experiences with k-pop and hip-hop.Strong recommend! 10/10
David Hao: Positive:Communication,Quality,ValueI've been taking classes here for almost 2 months now and I've loved every one of them! Goushi is a really great instructor and the staff as a whole is very welcoming, which is especially great if you're a beginner!
Ruoqiao Chang: Great place with a very high level of professionalism and very high quality of teaching for learners. I have been learning in the studio for more than one year. I am very impressed with the studio and am very happy to dance with the instructors. They have different types of dancing including Kpop, Jazz funk, Latin, etc. Great place, great staff, great experience for me!
Nina Xu: Great classes, good teachers, and nice friendly staff! Highly recommend for Kpop lovers :)
Miriam Kim: I absolutely love StyleMe and all of the instructors here including Moutwei and Ricka! Jieru is also extremely friendly and reaches out to us about special mv projects/classes we may be interested in on a regular basis. This dance studio has brought me so much joy ever since I started and has further deepened my interest in dancing and filming covers! It's really great to be a part of this community where I have the freedom to express myself and share the same interests with others. I've also made many friends here since I started attending a year ago and made many special memories dancing together. Highly recommend for dancers of all levels!!!
