Toro: what do users think?
Ida Li: Heard about this restaurant from a friend! Great place for having conversations over a light meal and some drinks.Food overall was delicious. Portion size are small particularly because it's a Spanish tapa style meant to be shared amongst the table.Atmosphere was beautiful. I highly recommend getting a seat outdoors for the summer. It's much roomier and comfortable. You can definitely also go in the winter but it'll be really cold! It's a bit on the pricier side but it's a nice treat.
Owen Tredennick: Asado de Huesos was one of the best things I have ever tasted. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, so mix it up!Will be back again and again…and again.
Caitlin McPheron: Authentic Spanish tapas style restaurant. They offer Iberian ham, manchego cheese, bocadillos among other Spanish staples. Great Spanish wine selection as well. We ordered asado de huesos, jamón ibérico, queso de cabra, and maíz asado for two people and it was plenty. Service was great and atmosphere was cozy. Highly recommend.
Dustin Maneethai: Excellent tapas served fresh. The paella was definitely a star but it's quite filling. For two I would recommend the paella and perhaps 3 tapas dishes. The service was excellent. In fact our waters never seemed to drain and we couldn't figure out why.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Paella Valenciana, Tapas …More

Cristian Suarez: Because of how good the tapas was, I’m giving it a four star. But considering how low-key trash the drinks were, I’d give it a limp 3 star. Fun atmosphere though.
Chingsung Chang: Tables are a bit small. Food is good, but be prepared to spend a decent amount. Overall I do think it is a bit on the pricier side, but there's enough on the menu that's unique. The paella was a tad disappointing though, especially for a Spanish placeFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5Recommended dishes Patatas Bravas Fried …More
Jing Wu: Worst Manager!!! Waitlist shows around 45 minutes, but We have waited for 90 mins with no calls or messages. When we asked them, they said they had sent the message, which we didn’t receive it. The solution from manager is waiting another 120 minutes. The most ridiculous solution ever heard.
Alejandra Ortiz: We shared 4 plates: mushrooms with the egg, shishito peppers, shrimps, churros and flan. Everything was good and the choice of drinks and cocktails too. Bartenders were very attentive and recommend us good drinks. I highly recommend the place for the ambiance, latin music, drinks and food plus the excellent service!Recommended dishes Churros Chocolate Sauce, Gambas Al Ajillo …More

chad svastisalee: Toro is uniquely located on Washington Street in the South End. One thing to know... fresh tapas are always A-Mazing and sharing with your family and besties make meals memorable. Just eating Spanish food because you know it’s delicious is a treat in itself. Toro is a must place to check out. The best way to tapas is to order a little bit of everything, and if you come across something you don’t love, that’s ok. Toro customized our menus with our son's name and boy was he surprised! Sit in their heated outdoor patio or inside the bustling hot spot and you'll be in good hands either way. Don’t let the crowd or wait for a table ruin the whole experience. The local beer selection is good, paired well with our tapas. We started with batatas bravas, calamari with shishito peppers and a well thought charcuterie board to start. Every pinxtos was delicious. Ostros Escabeche, island creek Oysters we're swimming in flavor and although we thought the Empanadas were a bit over fried, they were still tasty inside. We shared two rounds of Risotto de Longostos, it was devine and our boys favorite. The attention to detail to seasoning, plating and staff are on point at Toro.

Pratyush Goyal: Great service, great food! Very sweet staff
Victor Lavi: This deserves a 4.5 star rating, but a 4 will have to do. It’s rare that I’m full before my entree, but after 3-4 small plates, half the secret burger made it off the plate, and there was no room for dessert. The service was also mediocre, and the beer selection was limited and some beers on draft were out. The substitute wasn’t great.Service -4 starsFood - 5 stars (especially the smaller plates)Ambience - 4.5 stars
Lara Cohen: We came late for dinner right before the kitchen was closing. They accommodated us and the food came out rather quick but I credit that to us dining late. Everything was delicious. We over ordered and stuffed our faces and it was worth it. Great options for vegetarians and pescatarians too, with many smaller dishes to share. Good alcohol selection. Nice ambiance.
Swagat Mishra: We went here for my birthday dinner opting for their wine pairing 5 course menu. The place is really nice with excellent ambiance and service, however the bathrooms could be a little cleaner.Coming to the food, the first three courses were excellent. The tuna, burrata and crispy pork belly were each different in their unique way and prepared really well. The paired wine went really well with every course too.The final courses were a bit of a step down though. The chicken fried rabbit was slightly chewy and had a wierd after taste. Having never tasted rabbit before, I can’t say if it was the dish or the meat in general. The desert had corn pancakes with popcorn but for a menu costing $200+ for 2 people, you really expect something more classy and decadent. Something chocolate-y to end the night would have been perfect.Overall, a really good experience, slightly expensive but worth a try once. I’d probably return to try so something on their a-la-carte menu next time.
Eugene Man: Trendy happening restaurant bar in the heart of Harvard Square. The secret burger was delicious, as were all the appetisers. Good wine and beer list too.Recommended dishes Classic Secret Burger …More
Catherine Tucker: Nice pisco sour and steak tartare. Relatively pricey. More a restaurant to go out with coworkers than for romance.Food: 4/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5 …More
Belal Osmani: Lacking in knife skills, ordered a roasted carrot plate and looked like my toddler cut the carrots. Overall food was bland lacking in genuinity. Too much hype, not worth the $$$.
Joshua Young: Restaurant/bar with long history located in Harvard Square, located at the basement level and can be easily missed sometimes.Food was decent, but not everything was a hit. Crudo was only ok, mostly flavorless. Kale salad had a good dressing and texture. Brussel sprouts was tasty with nice refreshing tartness from the lime. Burratta was fine, but again could use more flavor/seasoning.Pork belly was one of the best dishes overall, with crispy skins and meat so tender that it melted in my mouth. Salmon was very underwhelming. Cooked to medium, very tender and juicy, but again, lacking flavor.Dessert we got the smoked chocolate bread pudding and ricotta cake. Bread pudding was warm and chocolatey, almost brownie like. Ricotta cake was not dry and not too sweet. While the service was good, food was fresh, they could be a bit bolder with flavors.
Nicole Naumoff Hodgson: Great service ! And lots of good food.
Saud: I tried their burger. One of the worst I ever had.Food: 1/5|Service: 3/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Josiah Sinclair: Recommended dishes Crispy Pork Belly, BurgerMore
Amir Tahmasebi: The menu seems very interesting but not all dishes are good. We tried kale salad which was good but pesto pasta was nothing special. The braised beef was also good but the smoked chocolate dessert was weird and disappointing. The prices are insane. It was good for one time try.Keep in mind parking is disaster around this place.
Winnie Zhang: I love this place!! My brother has always recommended Alden and Harlow to me, because they have rabbit on the menu. I’ve never tried rabbit but I definitely want to get it the next time I come here.I went to brunch with my friend here a couple weeks ago and the food was phenomenal. We got a french onion dip and the chips were so thin and airy (good thing to me lol), torched fruit (SO GOOD AND UNIQUE), french toast, and a steak tips (this was ok wouldn’t get again). All of their dishes are really unique, with different flavours blended together. Service was great. We wanted the donuts but I guess they overestimated the amount they had that day so we were able to have a complimentary cinnamon roll. Drinks were delicious.I put $50-100 per person bc it was just two people and we wanted to try multiple things.
Alexis Newman: Really delicious and unique dishes and drinks! We ordered a total of 5 dishes for 3 people and were certainly full by the end of it. The corn pancakes and basil pasta were the standout dishes of our night!Recommended dishes Seared Bluefin Crudo, Pickled Corn Pancakes …More

Cathal Harmon: Wasn't super impressed with the food or cocktail I chose but my companions were delighted with theirs. I'll have to give it a second chance to see if the other options are better
Aude-Marie Alem: Creative dishes!The ambiance is nice too.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Ramit Bhalla: Where do I begin. I’ve been supremely impressed by this restaurant. The cocktails are very good. The service is outstanding. The food is amazing. The portions are small, keeping that in mind, we loved everything we ordered. It was tasteful, perfectly cooked, the texture was great and the presentation was excellent. If I had to pick something to say they could do better, I would pick the deserts. It was a little chewy and lacked the delicate flavors like the tapas were crafted. The pork belly wasn’t the best I’ve had but still a cut above. It lacked the melt in your mouth texture but was flavorful. This is a true gem the culinary disappointment called Boston.
Jacopo Movilli: Probably the best burger in Cambridge/Boston I have tried so far.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Burger, Classic Secret Burger …More

And the hot lobster roll, sweet potato waffle skillet, and the greens with pomengranite vinigraitte, all worth the wait. Perfect taste, texture, and complimentary to the outstanding beer and spirits offered. Definitely be back.

Yorleny Posada: This place is great! Catherine at the bar is the best, she was really nice and helpful, made suggestions on the menu and recommend us seasonal cocktails. We love it, great service and drinks, good music, nice environment. Definitely going back!

Twitchy: Good place for late night food in downtown Boston. Arriving on a late flight into Boston, there's not a lot of full service restaurant options in the downtown area after 9 pm. At Bostonia Public House we had the hot lobster roll, pasta vongole and fish & chips. The food and service were very good. As an fyi, it does get pretty noisy once the live entertainment starts.

D Fernandez: Hospitality is key here and it shows. We reserved a table and we were seated right away upon arriving. The atmosphere is unmatched. Service from start to finish is excellent. We both had a medium rare Bistro burger with fries and for an appetizer berries and melon. Very well cooked burger. Richard S: Went for dinner downstairs and came back two days later for dessert upstairs and can’t say enough about the incredible food and service here. Nicest reception and wait staff in Boston. For food the unusually coconut soufflé was a must, same with the most delicious crème brûlée I’ve ever eaten. The mains were all excellent.
Roberto Cavallini: Sin duda un lugar elegante. Servicio a la mesa atento y discreto, con decoración muy agradable y sillas comodas. Platos de acuerdo al sitio: deliciosos.
John Chung: Well we made a reservation for Easter Sunday at 1:30 pm for our party. We arrive on time and almost 30 minutes later we are cooking our heels in the foyer still waiting for our table. What exactly is the point of a reservation then? The staff was very apologetic and offered complimentary champagne. But it was annoying. Nonetheless they were quick to fire the food and it was very tasty. So for the food alone, I would rate a 5. But there is really no excuse for the late seating other than overbooking the tables or poor management of tables (e.g. telling parties they have a time restriction on the table).Perhaps at a less busy time we would return.

Davio's Northern Italian Steakhouse: what do users think?
Haley Peloquin: My friend had a reservation for his birthday at 8:15pm Saturday evening. We arrived right on time and were told it'd be 15-20 min wait which was totally fine because we were still waiting for one person in our party plus were all industry folk so we try to understand where we can. Almost an hour passes and my friend goes to check in on our table since nothing had been communicated further to us. After a manager explains they over booked themselves for the night, we finally get seated almost an hour and 15 minutes later with not one single apology. We ignore it, sit down, and our server comes over and seems frazzled so we give her some time to get situated. We put our orders in eventually and the food runner not only brings the wrong soup to someone at our table, but when she brings the correct soup over (my friend was just going to eat the incorrect soup because it wasn't worth complaining about plus it was good so who cares!) she physically took the incorrect lobster bisque away while his spoon was still dripping in soup getting all over the table then she put the correct tomato soup down and walked away. Not replacing the spoon, not apologizing, and we were mostly confused as to why his lobster bisque was confiscated from the table since it was half eaten and not like they could resell it. There were 6 of us at the table and I believe 5 of us ordered steaks which were all undercooked. Again, we didn't complain because at this point we just wanted to leave and we thought it was rather obvious we had been through the ringer even just after waiting over an hour for our RESERVED table. Oh we got that FULL $800+ tab with no comps, no apologies, nothing. Again, we're all service industry workers so we try to give the benefit of the doubt, but it was a hard dinner for us all to sit through!Bright sides of the dinner: the server was extremely nice and had a full section so we completely understand her being frazzled. We didn't finish dinner until 11pm (when they close) and she still offered dessert and by no means rushed us out. We didn't get her name, but did want to thank her for that we were just frustrated Saturday evening after spending good money with not the quality we were hoping for.

Juan Carlos P: A beautiful restaurant and the food , service and cocktails Never disappoints. If you are walking by is worth checking this place out. I still remember when they open and it seems they can stand any storm thanks to the consistent effort to make great food. Kitchen stuff rocks 👏🏼🙌🏼
Charles Law: I would eat again at this restaurant, and that says a lot.The "55 Day Prime Aged Strip Steak" was one of the best steaks I have had. The two sauces recommended just covered up the flavor of the steak, so I do not recommend them. A truffle risotto side was also very good. The truffle was a major flavor. The waiter service was also very good.Unfortunately, the Ceasar salad and the "Penne, Applewood Smoked Chicken, Sundried Tomatoes, Walnuts, Cream" did not meet my expectations. The chicken had a pasty texture like it was marinated too long. The desserts were just average. The mango cheesecake was too sour with citric acid. The sour did not blend with the cheesecake well. The pistachio creme brulee was overly sweet. The custard should be less sweet to contrast the "burnt" sugar on the top.Parking: Self parking is available in garages and will cost you $25-$33. I also believe valet service is available.

Mercerdes García Belmonte: Excelente!!! La comida muy rica y la atención muy buena. El lugar perfecto.
Jim Haynie: The location is convenient to the Back Bay. The menu is pretty good selection. The popovers were burnt. The scallops were okay, but no risortto or peapods. The rice had no flavor. The salad was bland. The desserts were simple and dull. There was no gluten-free dessert option other than berries. Their version of bailey's had gluten. I would pick another place to go eat. The cost is not cheap.
Joseph Meyer: Entirely not worth the price, period. What an underwhelming meal. But I am a chef, so my standards may be higher. My meal was the basic of the basic, spaghetti and meatballs, if you can’t get this right, how can I trust you with any more?
Hannah Bradley: My boyfriend and I went in for dinner and it was one of the best restaurant experiences of my life! The staff was super friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Will definitely be coming back soon!

Phil Norris: The food is sensational. Elegant, refined, each dish a perfect trio of flavors. Highlights for me were the cod cheeks and the buckwheat gnudi. I’m sure you will have your own highlights given the huge range.Important to know is the wine pairing with the tasting menu is always a good bridge between the previous course and the current course - meaning you shouldn’t leave a sip in anticipation of the next course. One wine was the best pair I’ve ever tasted; another was objectively poor quality, and two others simply poor matches.I would return for sure, but à la carte and by the glass/bottle.

Nadine Haddad: My fiancé and I went to Menton on Valentine's day 2/14/23. We were very excited to have delicious food that is very well presented and have an amazing experience. Unfortunately, the food was very bland, overcooked or undercooked and both of us had the 7 meal course menu that we did not like or enjoy any of it even thought we selected 2 different dessert and 2 different foie gras dishes. The Staff was fast and friendly. The wine was the best I had in a long time. BUT the food was rubbery with no flavor or had a fusion that did not combine well . For an $800 meal for 2, this experience was highly disappointing. The ambiance and music were nice but we are Very disappointed in our experience at Menton as the food was a disaster. Even if the food we had was offered for free I would never go back and eat it.
Javier Rosa: Unique dishes and great service !
Paris Chang: Everything’s way too salty.
Eva Drozdowski: All I can say is wow! We visited Menton last night for Valentine’s Day for the first time and we loved it so much that we decided it will become our yearly Valentine’s Day tradition. James was our waiter and he was excellent! My husband asked if it was possible to surprise me with flowers and they did surprise me. The food was amazing as well. We can’t wait to come back!

Apisada Chulakadabba: I was there for the 2023 New Year's Eve celebration and had the tasting menu. Most of the items were memorable. So many dimensions of tastes and textures. The staff members were professional and friendly. My only low point was that I didn't really enjoy the foe gras dish too much. My friends felt the same. Otherwise it's a great experience. This is not my first time here, and it won't be the last! Thank you so much, Menton.FYI, I'm not a big fan of foe gras anyway. So, I am a little biased.
u a: Very , very usual restaurant, I don’t know why was granted with stars , wine pairings was less then average, I don’t know sommelier reasons and I do understand that every one has own taste , but really very strange choice , food was mid range , only service was perfectly done , I visited most of 3 star and 2 star restaurants over the globe , no explanation of 2 star for this one

Madeleine: I highly recommend sitting at the bar if you are not trying to spend $130-$190 per person for a Chef Tasting. I will highly recommend this place but will definitely come back for a full tasting.
tom bourk: Tldr great atmosphere professional and attentive wait staff. Food was underwhelming and expensive. They cater well to food allergies.Compared to other fine dining establishments, Mentons food was subpar. The staff was very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is nice and upscale (wear your sundays best). The drink selections were decent. However they miss the mark when it comes to the dishes. The food was decent but certainly not worth the money. Dinner for two was approximately a 3 hour event and cost nearly $1000 including drinks and tip. For this price point i would expect every dish to be spectacular.Overall the experience was enjoyable and pleasant but not the best value. Menton is a good one off experience but i will likely not return.
Gaby Chiha: Hands down the most spectacular restaurant experience I've ever had. Granted this was the most expensive dinner I've ever had, but this special experience is WORTH IT. If you're looking for the best upscale/fancy restaurant in Boston for a special experience, this is the place.I would come back for a future special occasion. In today's world where friendly/helpful service is declining and hard to find, the Menton staff go above and beyond for you to make sure you have everything you could possibly want.If the Michelin group ever come to Boston, Menton would surely have a Michelin star.

Celeste De Palma: 5 stars all around for this fantastic spot!!! I can't say enough nice things about Deuxave. I told staff we were celebrating my husband's birthday, and they gave us a very intimate table that really made the evening all the more special. Everyone wished my husband happy birthday and pampered us with a complimentary appetizer, courtesy of the chef that went perfectly with the duck liver pattè we selected. We enjoyed every morsel and sipped our cocktails to the last drop.We had the Long Island duck breast, and it was the best duck we've had in town. Also, note that the portions are super generous - a nice surprise, given how good it was! I tried their flirty lychee fiz, and it was as fun as it sounds. The dishes were cleverly plated and made the experience so much fun, on top of everything being absolutely delicious.Thank you, thank you, thank you for being such gracious hosts!! We will be back.

Alex Maiella: Celebrated our 4 year anniversary at Deuxave and had one of the most wonderful dining experiences thanks in large part to our fantastic waiter, Wesley.Wesley was not only funny, and attentive but also extremely knowledgeable about the menu and wine list. His experience in the industry was incredibly apparent as he told us the history of the dishes we very much enjoyed and where each ingredient originated. As for the food, between the Lobster, Duck, and Tuna, there is no way that we could decide on our favorite. Similarly to our appetizers and entree choices, we took Wesley’s drink suggestion for our choice of wine with dinner, and then port to go with the fresh and creamy crème brûlée. We cannot believe that this restaurant does not have a several week waitlist. I am grateful to have found Deuxave though because we will definitely be returning with friends and family on Thursday or Friday to dine with Wesley again.

Kenneth Lutchen: Arrived from Boston University with a faculty candidate with a party of 6 for a 6PM reservation and was seated immediately. Most of rest of restaurant was empty. Asked if we wanted bread which we did, and they gave each guest 2 slices on a plate and we later found out there was a $3 per person for this. Took our dinner orders by 6:20 or so. Main dishes did not come out until....are you ready......8:20. One of our party had to leave before his main dish arrived. We kept asking when the main meals would arrived and got same answer each time...."a few minutes". This was a staple restaurant for me as a Dean at BU to take guests to, even throughout the pandemic. Now we will likely not return as there are so many other choices.

John Sylvia: Quite a good restaurant. Ambience is good, laid back and unpretentious. The staff was friendly and competent.Get the Lobster Gnocchi. Seriously one of the best dishes I've ever had.The bread was out of this world, as is the marinara sauce. The cocktails were acceptable but I've had better for a fraction of the price.I felt like the Bolognese was overrated; it was good, not great.Red snapper crudo and roasted carrots were both ok. Nothing special.* The Burrata was very good but served cold. I think this dish would be much better if it were served hot.Overall, I have to deduct one star because I felt like for the $260 we spent on a dinner for two, I've had meals just as good for half that. But the Gnocchi... 🙌🙌🙌

David Hale Smith: Wonderful warm service with soothing atmosphere. Fun to watch the cooks work in the open kitchen. Impeccable wine list. I ordered red snapper crudo, the gnocchi with lobster and the recommended vegetable: sunchokes, which you don’t see often on restaurant menus. Everything tasted delicious. Four stars because there were only a few bites of lobster meat in the most expensive pasta dish on the menu, and the sunchokes were undercooked.
Guy Diakow: Very disappointing. While the bolognese was outstanding, my wife’s chicken was very tough, and service was terrible. Supporting staff were excellent but primary server was aloof, distracted, and uninterested.Recommended dishes Tagliatelle Bolognese …More

It is kind of like one of those days you want to be in sweats and still wear a tiara! Our last visit was with a group and the team serving us was flawless... Shout out to Penelope, who not only helped us with our group ordering to make sure we got enough food but not too much, but also made yummy cocktails herself. And my mouth is watering right now just thinking of the food. Mmmmm... Mmmm... Just go!

Chris Price: Cool, eclectic atmosphere designed to quickly and efficiently turn tables while giving the diners an open view of the kitchen. The Polpette appetizer was delicious, with rich sauce accompanied by a house-made slice of tasty sponge-like bread perfect for dipping. The star of the show was the Tagliatelle Bolognese, which is absolutely THE BEST bolognese I've ever had..it was so good that halfway through it I'm thinking I didn't want it to end and was seriously contemplating ordering one to go. To top it off, the staff were all super friendly. Definitely make this a stop when in Boston, you won't be disappointed!
Ben Lambert: Dietary restrictions: They have a gluten free pasta substitution, which was delicious.

Frenchie Wine Bistro: what do users think?
Joe Donnelly: We had a wonderful experience. The cozy ambiance and top-notch coffee make it one of the best places to grab a cup in Boston. We were seated by the window, which provided an excellent view of the street and the service was prompt and friendly. The menu was so tempting we had a hard time deciding what to order. We ultimately settled on the Croque Madam and Barley crepes, which were both delectable. We also enjoyed splitting a butter croissant, which stole the show. To drink we had coffee and a refreshing mimosa made to perfection. Plenty of Prosecco in it!The only drawback was the tight seating arrangement which might not be suitable for larger parties. Nonetheless, everything we ordered was served hot and tasted amazing. Overall, Frenchie Wine Bistro was an exceptional dining experience that I would highly recommend.
Lauren Costa: Recommended dishes White Truffle Croque Monsieur Recommendation for vegetarians Highly recommend Vegetarian offerings Vegetarian menu or section, Clearly labeled vegetarian dishesMore
Karl Johnson: We went for brunch. I thought the service and the staff were good but we were both disappointed in the food. I got the Eggs Benedict with lobster and fries. The egg was cooked well but could have used more hollandaise sauce. The lobster was terrible. All I got were the small tip ends off the claw which are the worst part of the lobster and a little bit of knuckle meat. It was over cooked and tough. The fries were fresh cut but were limp and soft. They needed to be twice cooked. My wife got the Onion Soup and the Arugula Salad with shrimp. The onion soup needed more seasoning and her shrimp were small, over cooked, and tough. Some of the other dishes we saw looked good. I guess you have to know what to order. I do not recommend the lobster or the shrimp. I doubt we will go back.
Kennedy Moore: Frenchie's is a small but cute and lively restaurant in the heart of the South End. The staff was extremely friendly, food came our pretty fast, and everything was absolutely delicious. The bottle of pinot noir was a good choice for the table and their spin on an old fashioned was notable. We especially enjoyed the espresso martini. The duck, streak frites, and housemade cavatelli pasta were all great. Additionally, the creme brulee and olive oil cake were a delectable way to end the meal.
Alec Stepanian: I had a very nice burger here and my coffee was excellent! However, the seating is incredibly cramped. I felt like I was completely on top of everyone else and didn’t have enough room on my table. I don’t think I would return, as it’s too claustrophobic for me.
Sergio Solis Checa: Cozy brunch place in South Boston. We were 10 minutes late and almost couldn't get a table, so better be on time here.Gladly surprised to have found fresh orange juice, which is almost impossible around here. The burger is average, and the Benedict's are great, just like the coffee, jam and juice. Service was really good as well, and even with a full house, we didn't have to wait long
Nolan Shapiro: I was told Frenchie was a taste of France in Boston, and I must agree. I went for a birthday brunch and the food was great. I got the salmon plate and my friends got different versions of the benedict. Overall, prices were reasonable (for a fancy bistro) and portions were surprisingly large. The drinks were good but not great, and the service the same. Overall, would recommend for a nice brunch with friends.

Nicole Wood: Frenchie Bistro was great. My husband and I went there and he had the duck confit hash and I got the white truffle croque mansieur. The white truffle was not over powering and I opted for mushrooms in it and it was delicious. They made me a non-alcoholic cocktail which was great. We sat in the back which is a glass walled area that makes the city feel like someone quaint non-city backyard. It transported you to a peaceful place. 10/10 would recommend!Vegetarian options: I swapped the meat in my meal for mushrooms
Henry Gunther: My wife and I went for Valentine's day and had a lovely dinnerFood: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Gregory Kechejian: Tremont St small eatery with nice French bistro vibe, excellent service, enticing menu, clean bathrooms and reasonable Boston prices. Exciting drink and adequate wine menu complement the experience solidly. Worth a visit before the theater or friends night outFood: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Deep Dand: Good cocktailsFood was really goodAmazing Cremé BurleéStaff is really goodHappening vibeCan get noisy because of cramped space.Vegetarian options: The place has decent vegetarian options but I can't go in very hungry and expect to come out feeling full.
Emily Malamet: I really enjoyed my experience at frenchie. The management team is amazing, and the greenhouse is so cute ! And Philippine is just wonderful !Definitely recommend this place !
Emma Hatfield: Love this place for the wine! Happy to come back for a visit after Covid to discover the small little nook in the back has now become the restaurant. The only critique I would make is the very shallow pot of cheese fondue I tried... Which was great except that I'm used to seeing half a pot or full for 1 or 2 people. It made the half price fondue night seem more reasonable rather than a bargain to look forward to.🤔
David MacIndoe: Food was excellent. Prices are a little steep but they could be worse. I went for brunch and both my wife and I had the duck confit hash. The poached egg was delicious, the hollandaise was buttery yet light compared to the thick sauce you often get at breakfast joints. It had potatoes, onions and some kind of turnip which might sound gross to some people but it was cut small and there wasn't too much; just enough to provide an earthy backbone to the dish. I wouldn't go here regularly because of the price but it's not too ridiculous.Service was great, the waitress was polite and helpful. We had a few periods of long waits between visits, but it was also busy and maybe they were understaffed like many other places. Don't go here if you're in a rush, but it's nice to relax if you have the time. The atmosphere was very nice. It felt clean and while I've never been to France, it made me feel like I was transported there. There was a nice garden patio in the back that looked nice for warmer months. I would definitely come back here!
Katherine Calandriello: This is my favorite restaurant in Boston. I always take my friends and family who are visiting the city here. It’s expensive but I usually order several appetizers to share. The creamy onion soup, Brussels sprouts, and crème brûlée are the highlights for sure! And if you make a reservation I’d recommend requesting to sit in the back sunroom/atrium if you’re on a date. The front half of the restaurant can get a bit noisy.

Bastille Kitchen: what do users think?
Amy Winecoff: I wanted to make a last minute reservation for my partner's birthday somewhere near Drink so we could grab a cocktail after. Most of the places in the Seaport I wanted to try were already booked, so I booked a reservation at Bastille. When we first walked in, the decor gave me a TGI Friday's in the 90s vibe, so I immediately thought--uh oh. But boy was I wrong! We had an octopus appetizer that was tender, just a bit salty, and delicious. I had a roasted bronzino that blew any other whitefish dish I've had in the area out of the water. The grannies that frequent this place, they know what's up. I would absolutely go to Bastille for a nice dinner again!
Greg Jawski: Very poor service and very average food.
Tim Melvin: Service is a little off but the food was very good. Solid 4 stars.
