Boston Public Speaking: what do users think?
Karie Schulenburg: I invited Amanda to host a workshop for my patrons at the Kirstein Business Library & Innovation Center, of Boston Public Library. Amanda presented an event entitled "Confident Public Speaking for Entrepreneurs". More than half the attendees approached me afterwards to tell me how much they appreciated Amanda, how much they learned, and wanted to know when she will return. I hope soon, everyone! She was fantastic.
Drew Blumenthal: I worked with Amanda for several sessions to help me increase my confidence on camera and to get "camera ready", for each of my sessions she was on time, prepared and yet worked with me on what I needed to work with. Each hour flew by and I would highly recommend anyone looking to get better at speaking on camera to work with her.
Jessica Potter: Amanda hosted an engaging webinar for the Women at Petco ERG, where she made the audience feel empowered and more confident with public speaking. She was professional, prepared, and wonderful to work with. If you're looking for a fun, accessible way to train your team on public speaking (virtually or in person), Amanda has a lot to offer!
Ilana Zieff: Amanda’s workshop was a great experience for our team! She brings an array of public speaking skills, knowledge and experience to the table for both in-person and virtual engagements. Amanda provided two really insightful learning sessions with our engineering team to help arm them with the skills needed for presenting and hosting at our upcoming conference. Her comprehensive course went through all the necessary skills to help our team feel confident expressing their ideas and delivering project highlights. One the best parts of working with her was her process. We briefed her on the requirements for the specific roles at our conference we needed fulfilled and she tailored the hands-on modules accordingly, making the content in the workshop directly applicable to our participants’ upcoming engagements. Our team was raving about the experience and plan to continue to work with Amanda again in the future!
Kimya Harris: I had worked with Amanda in a series of one-on-one coaching sessions and was so impressed with her work that I asked her to run a group session at my company. Amanda is an amazing coach and group facilitator who is passionate about her work helping people to develop more confidence as public speakers. She came to our office and led a Women's group forum on Finding Your Voice. Her focus was not limited to public speaking in large and formal presentations - she actually spent a significant amount of time coaching the group on how we hold ourselves, how we enter a room, and how we present ourselves in everyday settings at work. She was engaging & dynamic and managed to successfully bring out people's voices to contribute to the discussion in an effective and non-threatening way. She strikes the perfect balance between taking the topic seriously but approaching it with humor. She also provided specific and tangible actions for participants to incorporate in to their every day life which were very much appreciated by everyone in the group. I would highly recommend Amanda as a coach in any setting - individual or group. She is truly gifted at what she does and her passion and commitment to her work shows!
Doug Naffah: Amanda is terrific! She listens to what you want to accomplish then sets right in to help you get it done. Very smart, personable, and makes you feel comfortable. One on one instruction from a professional is a rare find.
Christine Dickerson: Amanda is incredible to work with. She has lead public speaking workshops at the Urban Ministry to provide tips on bringing your authentic voice to public speaking opportunities. She is adaptable, deeply compassionate & a wonderful collaborator. Workshops not only provide concrete tools for public speaking, but also allow for social/emotional learning, personal reflection, and growth. Highly recommend taking the time to work with Amanda!
Jon Iorio: Amanda is awesome! She coached me through 2 speeches I had to give (not my favorite thing :) ). She is a great listener, non-judgemental and gives you her full undivided attention during a coaching session with her. She has an energetic, warm personality and really makes you feel at ease. Highly recommend!
Amy M: Amanda Hennessey is a gifted coach. She works from a place of compassion and empathy and uses both to create a supportive and productive learning environment. She has an unparalleled ability to reframe a challenging situation to make it feel like an opportunity. Her insight is unique, her sense of humor is delightful, and her wisdom is invaluable. In short, her workshops are everything I anticipated and much more. I highly recommend Boston Public Speaking.
Shaun Bourque: Really enjoyed the workshop, highly recommend for professionals looking to gain an edge in effective communication.-- Shaun B
Alli Driscoll: My husband and I had an incredible experience with Boston Public Speaking. We worked with Amanda Hennessey who was an absolute delight. Amanda was somehow able to help us take our feelings, memories, and milestones and transform them into our wedding vows. Amanda has the ability to take a hint of an idea and craft it into exactly what you wanted to say, before you knew you could say it. Our vows came out beautifully, all thanks to Amanda. Highly recommend Boston Public Speaking and Amanda!
Michelle Simpson: Amanda is awesome! I was lucky enough to spend 3 sessions with her. Public speaking is what brought me through the door, but we delved into many areas such as how to posture yourself standing in front of a crowd, addressing a room of executives and being heard as well as not being embarrassed of having a big title. She reminded me that even though I am new to my director role, I have been prepared for this for awhile. She boosts your confidence and reminds you of your worth in business and in life. Would, and have, recommended Boston Public Speaking to others!-- Michelle S

BostonSpeaks: what do users think?
Mihkerlange Jean-Louis: Despite being told I was a composed and confident speaker, I struggled with speaking anxiety for years following a traumatic experience presenting a multi-million dollar solution to a work client. I avoided speaking to large audiences, content to work behind the scenes. But with BostonSpeaks' Speaking Anxiety program and coaching, I overcame my fears. I spoke calmly and confidently when invited to participate in a global live-streamed panel discussion.Kit's deep understanding of human psychology and his welcoming and non-judgemental coaching style helped me remove the mindsets and beliefs that held me back. His teaching frameworks and methodologies provided a solid foundation for me to overcome my speaking anxiety and become a more effective speaker. I highly recommend Kit and all of BostonSpeaks' services to anyone looking to overcome speaking anxiety and become an authentic speaker.
Krishna Valluru: Kit Pang is awesome! His framework and techniques really worked for me and my freinds. I recommend his program!
Calvena DeVoe: I have really enjoyed being a part of this experience...I'm so grateful for the chance to share my hopes, my dreams and my inspiration with such amazing people. Over the past few months I've gotten to speak at various locations as well as sit in on live panel discussios and trainings and also a few workshops. Kit is truly an awesome speaking coach and just lifts me up when it comes to my fear of public speaking. Thank you to everyone who has shared their stories and that have supported me through my new journey. I appreciate each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart..Much love to you Boston Speaks...Calvena D
Kadisha C: Kit is a knowledgeable and compassionate public speaking coach and trainer.
Ej Howard: Very helpful webinar this information will make things easier
Nick: Earlier this year Kit came and gave my organization an amazing workshop in which he discussed various layers of public speaking. What stood out to me regarding his workshop was his focus on "mindset," and how important it is. Many times when it comes to public speaking, we focus on getting more speaking reps in, and, while this is important, we should not overlook mindset. Thank you Kit, and we look forward to having you again in the future!
Roxani Oikonomou: Hi, I am Roxani Oikonomou , Microexpressions Trainer and I had a great opportunity the day before , atttending Coach's Kit Pang Seminar!I am a Coach myself , over two years experience under my belt coaching TEDx Speakers with their non verbals , congruency and increasing influence and likability. You might wonder , how did the training help me?The training change the way I used to approach things, make me understand that is not only techniques and tools and methods and tricks, is something beyond, is MINDSET, IS AWARENESS!What did I like most?I love the videos and the examples, the case studies and the storytelling’s have been used in order to keep our mind O P E N to a new approach in regards to public speaking.I am here to express my graditute my friends to Coach Kit Pang , who is ahead of traditional coaching methods , yet RESPECTING them and combining them with fresh MIND TOOLS .Thank you.Roxani
Janice McKim: Thank you Kit! You stuck it out with me and helped me work through my limiting mindset. I wish I had found BostonSpeaks and Kit sooner! If you are having speaker anxiety or just know you can do better and you are ready to level up I can’t recommend Kit enough. He was a true coach and friend - pushing me to get out of my comfort zone to make me better. Hard work but worth it. I will definitely be using Kit again and recommending his process and coaching tools to anyone who wants to enjoy public speaking more and not shy away from opportunities.
Matt Demanche: An Outstanding Class.Kit did a great job in breaking down information in a way that's simple and easy to implement in the real world. Energy of the class is very welcoming. Lots of participation and breaking off into groups allowed us to use examples from our own lives and to see how we can apply the information and strategies to our own unique situations and careers. Left the class feeling more confident and eager to put the info to good use.Well worth the time and cost.I cannot recommend this workshop highly enough to anyone looking to improve their speaking skills in a professional setting.
Stephen Jablonski: Attended the half day Public Speaking Workshop given by Kit Pang of Boston Speaks. It is an excellent session that provides attendees with a lot of useful information and exercises to improve their public speaking. Attendees have ample opportunity to practice, ask questions and interact with an "audience" in a supportive learning environment. Highly recommended to anyone interested in refining their public speaking skills.
Meg Frankl: I really enjoyed by session with Kit Pang. He helped coach UserTesting's marketing team and we found it very valuable and it somehow, it didn't feel like we were working. Kit made learning speaking strategy fun and engaging.
Fred Young: Kit's programs are Top Shelf! My most recent experience was the The Fearless Public Speaking Summit. Kit gathered, and interviewed, the best of the best in the speaking industry, providing valuable tips to become a more confident and successful presenter. If you want to up your game, contact Kit!
Lynne Santangelo: I attended the Boston Speaks Public Speaking Workshop in July 2022, and it was WONDERFUL!Kit did an amazing job out of the gate to set the tone for the workshop of it being a place for us to learn, practice and "take the stage". His method of teaching kept me engaged for the entire 4 hours with fun, out of the box exercises, personal examples and ways to apply what we were learning immediately. With a combination of effective communication skills and an energetic personality - Kit is an excellent group facilitator. I am excited to put what I learned into action soon at an upcoming meeting. Thank you Kit for an awesome experience!
Alex Cheung: Our Venture Café community thoroughly enjoyed Kit Pang from BostonSpeaks coming to engage everyone through a workshop. Upon leaving, I felt empowered and equipped with tools that I've been able to bring into my everyday life. It's not sorcery, but Kit demystified public speaking in a way that was fun and actionable. I would highly recommend BostonSpeaks for anyone interested in being more confident in their speech or leveling up their public speaking skills!
Lauren Jones: Kit was an amazing coach throughout my experience in the Boston Speaks program. He shifted my way of thinking in public speaking settings- whether that be formal presentations or having the courage to speak up during meetings. I highly recommend this program to those who want to be a more engaging presenter or who just want to excel at their career if you’re in formal meetings/presentations. I’ve seen a change in my self confidence in every challenging situation I’ve been in since! Not only is he a great speaking coach but honestly a life coach!!
Ian So: Kit is amazing. He breaks down speaking in such simple forms. Definitely has leveled up my speaking game.
Mitch Gaines: Kit helped me put together a presentation for a technical conference I was presenting at. Going into it, I had quite a bit of anxiety around presenting a technical topic in front of a bunch of people who were experts in the field. Working with Kit helped me reign in my ideas and present it in a way that could be well received by my audience. Further, working with him helped reduce my general anxiety around public speaking.Throughout the course of us working together, he always made the time to get the necessary practice. Every time I left one of our sessions, I felt like I had the necessary constructive feedback to work on improvements for the next iteration of the presentation.I would highly recommend Kit for your public speaking needs. Working with him gave me the confidence I needed to execute on such a presentation.
Abdiel Ramirez: Awesome to work with!
George Cuchural: I've worked with Kit on 3 different occasions and he was so great to work with every time. I needed help writing a number of speeches for non work related events and he helped me craft each one which resulted with standing ovations. I highly recommend working with Kit!
dorothy polatin: Kit is an absolute pleasure to work with. He has done a few programs for my university students now and they just love him. He is not only fun and engaging, but educational. The students get to actually practice public speaking and learn how they can be the most effective speaker. They take away tips that they can use that day in interviews and presentations. I know that this program will have a lasting impact on them and I am so grateful to Kit for his support!
Rebecca Devaney: Kit Pang is one of the best teachers I have ever had, and I spent a lot of my life in school. He genuinely cares about his students, their progress, encourages them when they need it, and holds them accountable when they need it more. His curriculum is easy to follow despite its complexity, and it helped me outside of just public speaking - my work performance improved and storytelling improved, as evidenced by an increase in dinner party invites and compliments. He's authentic, courageous, and tenacious - a truly great person who's helped me immeasurably. Take his courses or hire him. You won't be sorry. Thanks Kit!

Institute of Public Speaking: what do users think?
Mari Rosa: I went to the Institute of Public Speaking with minimal confidence in my ability to speak in public. I had just started a job where giving presentations is a non-negotiable so I knew I had to face this. I've since done two bootcamps and it has been life-changing. Beyond modeling or explaining, the instructor did an excellent job of creating a space where I could test things out, and also learn while supporting others. It took the terror out of feeling like I was under the gun while my boss and coworkers were watching, and allowed me to find what I'm good at and emphasize it. I'm glad I did this course, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to up their game.
MCAS Prep Biology: The instructor gave an overview of effective and ineffective communication strategies, common mistakes most of us make, and examples of powerful speakers. He also incorporated plenty of practice and individualized instruction that was very useful in helping speakers find their own voice. It also broke up what could have been a long day of professional development into a casual free flowing discussion that was alot of fun.

Alex Luan: The lessons from Christi is one of the best investments I have. As an MBA student with strong accent, it’s difficult to look for a good job in the business area. I had worked with my language partners, sought suggestions from the career coaches in the business school, and even imitated the accents from news reporters. Until I met Christi, I didn’t find the reason of the little progress in my accent is not inadequate practice but incorrect directions. I didn’t know where my weakness was! Christi showed me why my accent was not like native speakers’, how I should practice, and what the goal I should set up. At the end, I found a great job I like although it requires a lot of communication with English speakers.
Na Zhang: Christi is an awesome and professional American accent teacher. My company has some educational fund for employees so my manager suggested me to use it for speech training. I was fortunate to find Christi. Initially, I chose her program because of the location (Central Square) and time (after work hours). She has very dedicated teaching methodology which helps me improve my spoken English a lot, especially in public speaking skills, awareness of mistakes, key features of English (intonation, emphasis of key words, pronunciation of specific sounds), most important of all, the methodology she taught me for continuous practice. And also, she has good personality and is easy to work with. I sincerely recommend Christi and her American speech coaching program.

Manuel Navia: Another ugly, dehumanizing and thoroughly impractical example of our Boston Brutalist architectural "tradition" - - consider the Boston City Hall.Who got paid for that thing? On top of all that, Alewife Station seems to be falling apart, which might ultimately be an (expensive) blessing. In the universe of terrible rail stations, Alewife may be edged out by the "new" Penn Station in New York and Mussolini's monstrosity in Milan.

Boston School of English: what do users think?
Ana Maria Betancourt: Critical:ProfessionalismA very unprofessional school. They didn´t know how to solve the issue of giving me classes during the pandemic. So they sent me to another school with a education of bad quality. When I asked for a refund they denied to give me my money back. I will never recomend this experience to anybody else.
annika. e: I can really recommend this school. Having spent 2 months here made me a) improve my English, especially my speaking and b) making many new friends from all over the world! The classes are pretty small what helped me a lot. The teachers adapt their teaching to their students and make it possible for you to improve your English as much as possible. Thank u:)
Fernando Lombera: I really recommend the Boston School of English, I was there for only 1 week and I love. Good teachers and a very nice environment. 100% recommended.
Valeria Alfaro: It's the best school to improve your English, with excellent teachers and good quality of classes. It's also the perfect place to make friends from all over the world. All the teachers and staff have been amazing. I would definitely love to come back, 100% recommended!
Hugo Cortes Celaya: This school is amazing , is the better school for learning English, the teachers are nice and explain very well, they are very patients. I recommend this school for learning English.
Sebastian Alvarez: I really loved this place, It helped my a lot with my English. I improved my vocabulary pronunciation, grammar and listening even though I have been studying this language for three years. The teachers are fun and the environment is really good, even if you don’t know any English.
valeria rua: I'm going to start with the good comments that are much more than the bad ones. Although I had a really bad experience with the enrollment I want to say everything else was remarkable in a positive way. To talk about the good things, the teachers are awsome, the staff is very helpful and I enjoyed my classes a lot. Rooms are comfortable, the book is a good material and they also give you extra activities during the classes. I'm so thankful with: Dan, David and Nick, between a lot of teachers I have had throughout my life I would say you guys have been the best, their classes are not only educational but also fun and funny!! I assure you: you are gonna learn so much, laugh and have fun. They make sure to create a class environment where you feel comfortable to talk and express yourself, they clarify all your doubts even if they are not related with their classes and they are also great people. PD: if you are with David he is so creative and have different games to play during class, they are AWSOME!Not to talk about my bad experience: if you are an student looking for learning basic/intermediate English you are gonna be fine and I don't have anything to advise you, BUT if you are looking for a higher level than the average BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE TO ASK EVERYTHING BEFORE you start because their enrollment process is full of flaws and you could have an unpleasant experience as I did. This is what happened: when I was looking for a school I clarified to the seller that I was looking for a "medium/advance English course" in order to improve my English and apply to college here, he told me it was totally fine because they were gonna test me and according to my score they would place me in a class (everything cool so far). However, after taking the test and during the very beginning of my first class (the class they had placed me "according to my test") I realized the English they were teaching was a really basic English so I decided to stop writing in the book and during the break I went to talk to the staff expressing my concern about I had maybe been placed in the wrong level, to make a long story short they told me "your level of English is so high and we don't have any course right now for you" which you can imagine confused me more and made me a little bit angry too because nobody asked me if I was OK with being place in a level about 3 LEVELS BELOW my real level. After that I talked to Liliana (the manager) who made me feel disrespect and not supported for the school at all, they wanted me whether to pay for the book that I used for 1 hour (without knowing was not my book, how coul I have known?) and continue in my right level some weeks later or giving me a refund of 100% and I could leave the school without any problem, I disagreed and tried to make Liliana see how that didn't make sense, I mean: the school was willing to loose all the money I had already paid + the money for the whole book but they didn't want to accept the book back and let me continue in the right level couple weeks after that.I went to my house that day pretty disappointed and angry but I realized that at that point I was out of time to look for another school so I went back the next day and talked again to Liliana with my best face even when I kept thinking she was not making the smartest decision and feelings so disappointed as a costumer, we had a talk and agreed the school was gonna pay for the half of the book and I would pay the other half (which I am still thinking makes no sense) and I'm glad I did stay to study there because I had a really good time after all. I also wanna highlight that NICK WAS ALWAYS SO RESPECTFUL, HELPFUL AND NICE but it was not his decision, otherwise I'm sure he would have taken other path.In conclusion it's a good school but they should work more in the way they respond to those "atypical situations" because that could make their clients to have a really unpleasant process when they shouldn't.
Gabriela Monteiro: My experience here was very nice, because i improve my English and I met a lot of people from around the world.
Jusny Mackenson Louis-Jean: Just passed my TOEFL test there and I can say the employees are very professional and respectful. Personally, I am in love with the building, it is well preserved for a school that is dated from 1926.
Gabriela Ferreira: I really love this school! I wish I could spend more time there. Amazing teachers, amazing students from differents countries, amazing experience. Missing them.
Terry Lopez: It's a really good school to learn English, I am so grateful because I feel like I improved my english skills a lot.
Liz Ortiz Ruiz: It's a great school to learn English, I really enjoyed my time here, I'll miss talking classes here!
Adi Iore: Amazing school and great teachers!
Chef Alex: The school has an educational program that is great, the teachers and the office staff is awesome. I liked the mixture of cultures, different opinions the different people. I feel at home.
Felicitaciones!!!
K I: I can communicate with a various kind of countries classmates. But the school building is a little old.
Miriam González: I have studied here for 6 months and I really enjoyed this experience. I had a great time because I met a lot of people from different countries. The teachers are amazing. The BSE is the best school in the country to improve your English in. The lessons are great and very helpful. I would definitely recommend this school to everyone.
Paulino Obama: I was been for six months. I enjoyed meeting people from other countries and i loved the teachers as well. it' was a great experiance.
Clara Amposta: Such an amazing experience!
MARTA GUTIÉRREZ: Amazing experience with awesome people
Anna Pulido Sole: This is the best school of Boston!!! The classes are super interesting, and the teachers and school staff are amazing!!!Thanks for this incredible experience!

The Speech Improvement Company: what do users think?
Matt Lima: The Speech Improvement Company provided quality one on one consulting sessions. They were able to help me tune my presentations to the audience, provided exercises to increase the quality of my speaking skills, and real-time feedback during the sessions. I highly recommend The Speech Improvement Company for one on one consulting and training needs.
James McCabe: Hired TSIC for sales training; very impressed.
Patrick Gallahue: I’ve had the distinct privilege of working with Ethan Becker of The Speech Improvement company and cannot speak highly enough of the benefits my organization had from having him attend meetings and give us pointers to improve how we presented our ideas. They were tools that I have carried with me into my professional career daily and highly recommend anyone interested to reach out to The Speech Improvement company
Dan Minnich: We needed help with our public speaking! Laurie and The Speech Improvement Company have helped Waypoint Adventure speakers refine stories and craft compelling messages. I’d highly recommend Laurie and her team!
Rachel Dobinski: Working was Dinneen was exactly what I needed!I'm a 26 year old Communications director and Graphic Designer. Even after four years of College and being in the workforce for 5+ years, there was something holding me back from being the confident speaker that I knew I could be. Dinneen's approach to working with me went beyond text book teachings. She dug into my real fears of speaking while building up my confidence through reinforcing my strengths that I already possessed.Dinneen and her staff are welcoming, understanding and professionals. I would recommend her to anyone!

Minutemen Toastmasters: what do users think?
Inna Lisak: Trying to be fair to all the stuff of the rehabilitation center therefore giving 2 stars, not one or zero if it was possible. My mom came to the short term facility for rehabilitation after knee replacement surgery. She came in around 1pm. To my knowledge it's a work day, not weekend, but she didn't get any care - no physical therapy, nobody evaluated her, even no ice on the knee while hospital stuff told us to put ice as much as possible to stop swelling. Later I was told that their special chemical ice is stored in refrigerator that is locked and only PT specialists have keys from it, and they was not there. She was brought regular ice from a food fridge at night and it melted and made a pool in her bed.On Monday my mother suddenly had a very strong pain in her leg. PT specialist (that is actually really good) alerted the nurse and she looked at the leg and alerted their doctor. He came in and said that they suspect blood clot and ordered ultrasound to confirm that. But ultrasound comes from outside company so it can come today, tomorrow or any other day. Since blood clot is an emergency he wanted to give her blood thinner injection right away without ultrasound. Her leg was blue black on the bottom and I asked the doctor if it could be bleeding and not a clot and if it ok to inject blood thinner in this case. He ignored me. I asked if it is better to take her to the hospital ER. He answered, and it's a quote! "If it makes you happy, take her to the hospital..." !!! I ended up taking her to ER. It was indeed bleeding and not blood clot. My mother's pcp told me that my decision prevented serious complications and possibly a tragedy.I don't think I need to add anything to this.
jeanie millsknapp: The moment we visited your facility and met your admission's director, we felt like my mother's care and well-being were front and center for all your staff. While her health had failed too much to benefit from rehabilitation, the speech therapist and OT worked with her and met with me to help me understand her baseline and to set realistic goals. I particularly want to acknowledge Lorna and Sherrie, the nursing team, along with others, in the rehab wing. They were so compassionate to me and my mother. They worked well with hospice services. Bravo!
Janet Maling: My 96 year old mother was a resident at Meadow Green and we couldn't have asked for a better place for her. The nurses, aides and everyone on the staff were very caring. The facility was clean and well taken care of. The activities were excellent. They were very compassionate when she passed away and did everything they could to make it easier for the family. Would highly recommend this facility.
Carol Corchado: My father in law is 91 years old and is a resident at Meadow Green Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. I feel like I need to give credit where credit is deserved. Not many nursing homes get good reviews but I have to say if I could give more that 5 starts I would. Meadown Green has been so accommodating to my FIL. They are so caring and they make my entire family feel like they genuinely care. My FIL is so happy at Meadow Green and has been since day 1. His room is always clean and he is always looking like he is so well cared for even on the weekends. No smell of urine, cloths are always clean and my FIL is always smiling and happy. To me this says a lot about this place. I have dealt with other nursing homes and I have never felt like I feel about Meadow Green. Cudos to Kathy and all the staff at the Brooknoll Unit. My entire family THANKS YOU for all you do for my FIL.
Rita Velez: Not enough staff and I wouldn’t feed my dog the food they serve there.
jen B: We have had a very positive experience at Meadowgreen. My mom has been well cared for and supported by all.
Carolyn Goldhammer: My mother has been a resident at Meadow Green Rehabilitation and Nursing Center for 6 years now. This place has become a home. The staff has taken excellent care of my mom. She has been incontinent, wearing diapers and wheelchair bound the whole time yet has never had a bedsore. Meadow Green has created wonderful annual traditions that our family has enjoyed such as Fourth of July picnics, homecooked Thanksgiving dinners, Christmas parties with a live jazz band, and Halloween parades to name a few. The grounds are beautifully maintained so I always enjoy taking mom outside when the weather allows. COVID has been a difficult time but it has brought out the best in Meadow Green; their staff has demonstrated admirable dedication. Even though I now only see mom once a week, I know that she is in good hands. I am very grateful that she is there. Carolyn Goldhammer
Dennis Civetti: Excellent staff ,excellent employees .. My mother truly found her second home..Thanks to all ! Bravo!
Jerry C: This is the "Meadow Green Nursing Home" cited in numerous news reports. Research this center yourself. In my opinion, what happened here from 2018 to 2019 reflects irresponsible and unlawful management. I would not trust them with the care of a loved one.
Jessica Killilea: My dad was there for 2 weeks post hip surgery. The PT and OT care was wonderful. However, the RNs neglected basic nursering care. Daily, I had to track down and put on his Ted stocking. He was having trouble getting to the bathroom in time, and his clothing and wheelchair pads were constantly soaked with urine. They finally during his last 2 days there began helping him with a "diaper." His incision was neglected and is now very infected. On the day he was discharged, I actually had to insist that they change the dressing (@ 2pm), which they had medical orders to do daily. I'm glad he's home now.
J: My mother was here for years.. the night nurse put ear drops in her eyes and caused erosion.Once she was dropped, another time she had a severe allergic reaction to meds that shouldn't have been administered.. fluoroguinolones/Cipro which were specifically documented on her chart as meds to avoid. They are great at covering up errors..the nurse apologized but wouldn't accept responsibility. If you see your loved one isn't feeling well, don't be afraid to insist on a trip to the hospital. My mom was jaundiced while they didn't see the need for hospitalization. I insisted.. My mom was in surgery the next day to have 15 stones removed from her common bile duct as she was in acute renal failure. The food is sub par. In the 7 years since leaving this place, mom has been thriving in a Woburn nursing home and will celebrate her 104th birthday this year. The money is spent on the physical appearance of the facility.. Now I know why there's always room here for the elderly!
Cole Corey: Great nurses here! Worked with my great grandmother for four years until her death in March 2019
Shri Krishna Yoga Sanstha: excellent
Jamie Sarkisian: My 88 year old Dad went for 8 days when he had a congested Heart. I thought the staff was very good as they where aware of his recommended medication and provided help when needed. They worked very well with me to help my father.I wish the food was healthier. I recommend eating healthy food often with very small portions. More Garden Salads and Fruit Salads would have been a plus.
Pj S: MEADOW GREEN IS EXCEPINALLY GOOD REHAB EXCELLENT NURSING IS GREAT BUT THE FOOD IS NOT GOOD
