Rock & Rye American Bar: what do users think?
Matthew Elwart: Great vibe service was good could have been a bit quicker
Christian Trunley: Came here for a night cap after a dinner date and was pleasantly surprised by this lively and fun bar. Lots of different places to sit and the staff were fun and welcoming.
Yasha Marcelino: $9 a glass of beer. There is no rock n roll at all and it depends how you look they ask you ID, they did for me but for the couple who looked as young as I am he didn't, maybe because they looked have more money.
Emily Meehan: Fun bar with lots of game options. I particularly like the fun tiki like drinks they offer.
Alana Moore: Food was ok...bar food. Terrible waitress! Had to seek her out 3 times! Sorry, not sorry!
Arian Bryant: I had a great time checking out Rock and Rye American Bar last night; I went to sleep before posting this review. Located conveniently down the street from the Doubletree on Washington, it's a perfect spot for a safe walk back after a few drinks. My server Nadine was awesome and gave me some great suggestions on spots to check out while in town. The whole bar staff was fun, making for a great night out. The atmosphere is a mix between a college bar, recent graduate hangout, and local spot which I found to be kinda awesome. The low lighting adds to the ambiance. I ordered the fiery chicken sandwich with tater tots and it did not disappoint - good eating indeed. I plan to stop back in before I head out of town.
singingchef23: The bartender we had on Sunday evening was absolutely amazing. True Boston affair, sports rivalry but the most welcoming and fun experience. Planning the next trip to Beantown and this bar will be on my list
Alison Cassidy: Wow what a find. There are not many places to go in this area for a bite to eat and drink. The kitchy description really lives up to you it's definition. The staff is the bomb! The food isn't bad either but a limited menu. Will be back!
Delsin Grubbs: The whole staff is great
Adam Covacevich: Lights set the ambiance well
Anthony Cape: Fun friendly bar with lots of drinks options and shots. We stayed much longer than planned it was so much fun .
Carina Kaiser: Rock & Rye American Bar in Boston is a great spot for a night out with friends. The atmosphere is lively and inviting, with a great selection of drinks, games, and good vibes. The drinks menu offers a wide variety of good cocktails, beers, and wines to choose from, and the espresso martini is particularly delicious. Try it with Rum instead of vodka, it gives a smoother taste! Another great feature of Rock & Rye is the variety of games they have available to play, which adds to the lively and fun atmosphere. It's a must try their shots too, they are delicious and well-made. The staff is friendly and the service is excellent. The decor is modern and stylish, with a mix of vintage and industrial elements. Highly recommend it.
Christine Dusablon: Best time ever!!! The bartender Joey was Amazing!!! Drinks were incredible service was A1 Perfect! Food was great! Nachos and fried dough to die for. Atmosphere was so much fun. It’s a must if you’re in the Boston area! Cleanest bar I’ve ever been in. Everyone from staff to attendees were so friendly and fun. We have an amazing time!! Def can’t wait to go back!
Josh Thiering: The goodies
Lorena Oc: Food was typical American bar food. Some plates were just terrible like the cauliflower fried rice (do not order this!) And service could have been better. Overall a good place to get wings and beer but that's about it.
jeffrey tran: This place is awesome, they have a drink called the adult caprisun, and table games or games you can play with.
Jay Jenkins: Stopped just as they openned for lunch so was quiet. Very good smash burger. Friendly staff. Saw it was packed later at night.
Raul Raul: Horrible place
Katie P: Stopped by for lunch after a Sunday show with several adults and 3 young children. Everywhere was packed so we decided to give this bar a shot as a last resort. There was only one bartender with a full bar when we got there but he did his absolute best making sure we were taken care of and was amazing interacting with the kids/taking our orders/serving our food all while taking care of the bar entirely on his own. I wish I had gotten the bartender's name as he was outstanding! The food was delicious and the kids enjoyed playing with the bar games. They're already asking when they can go back to the bar 😆
Jessica Jones: This place seemed ok, but we ordered 1 drink each and a snack. The bill came to $40.66. I tipped $8, so a total of $48.66. Today when they ran the tips through, I see I was charged $50.66. So after I left, they decided to add an extra tip for themselves?? I already tipped 20%! And when I call the number, no one answers. I know it’s just $2.00, but it’s the principle, and it’s theft. I’ll be disputing this charge with my bank, since no one answers the phone at this place, I guess that’s all I can do.
Amit Kumar Choudhary: Went out for our anniversary drink and this place made it special. The drinks and food were on point and the ambience was very welcoming. Will totally come back.

Hard Rock Cafe: what do users think?
Alison L.: This is always a nice sit down place if you want the touristy feel in a busy part of Boston. I have been here for different occasions, the music is always loud. I generally enjoy that sound in the evenings more than day time. The food is pricey as most tourist places, though, it’s usually fresh and hot. I have had a delicious spiked shake here and many of the beers. It was nice to get a collectible glass with one beer to take home. It always has clean restrooms and little to no wait!!
Candace Stayton: They officially closed their door yesterday 6/26.Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
JEM Ma: Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5More
Connie Cheung: This place is located at very close to the tourist area (The Quincy Market). We were there around 3pm, its our late lunch/early dinner, the restaurant was not many customers in it. Waiter served in friendly manner. Food taste actually is pretty good, I love their fries very much, crunchy outside & soft inside. Nowadays when everything is expensive under high inflation, their prices are truly reasonable.Vegetarian options: Impossible burger
Michael: Very friendly staff and cool environment. A lot of cool memorabilia for music lovers.Sad this location is closing!
Paul C: I love this Hard Rock location!!! The staff is always friendly and the food is delicious!! Sad to see this location go, but I hope they find another spot soon!
Maria Inés Morosky Decanio: I love HRC and this one was no exception!
Mark Gray: Great staff! Sorry to hear they're closing - hope they keep the staff when they move 😬
Tim Dunker: Essen war sehr gut. Preis OK.
Teagan Klewin: Great food and desserts
Eugenia A: Love the music
gurkan Ysrn: Klasik Hard Rock, güzel ve kaliteli
Karen Clifford: Great burgers and vary nice staff .
Al B: If I could do negative stars I would. Spent $80 and still hungry. The rolls tasted like they wer left out for a month. The burger was so small they loaded it with lettuce to make it look big. McDonald's has bigger burgers. They charged $7 for a lemonade and wouldn't give a refill without another charge. Iv been here before and it's not close to what it used to be . Will never go back. Biggest waste now I no why it was empty at lunch.
tyler wills: Today as a family we decided to travel to The Hard Rock of Boston, MA. I've been hear a time or two in prior years, with my family. This Hard Rock location is permanently closing its doors on June /26th/2022 , this Gift - Shop is 75% percent off everything , this started Tuesday 5-31-22. Here a few photos I took for my reviews for Google! I had to capture the moment, it was dowm- pooring while I was taking the pictures. They had a hand- full of merchandise on there shop , a few pull- over hoodies , magnetics, Glasses, Pins, Sweatpants, Panda 🐼 Stuffed animals, and a few odds and ends. I got 1 tee , 1 zipper Sweatshirt, & a magnetic. They only had small tiny paper bags , like you put a magnetic in, if you're want a tote bag you have to purchase it for $2.00 there. I got on . The tote is an off- white with Hard - Rock on it with the year on it (71') all thought- out the bag. This is sad 😔 to that Hard Rock of Boston is closing in a few short weeks. It's probably going to be housing , or offices . How sad , Good Memories, Good Times. 👍JUNE-2-22This was our second time coming back to Hard rock cafe in less than 24 hours, we called ahead to let them know that we had some items to return and a shirt that was factory defected. At one it looked like we weren't going to get our money, because they needed a manager to approve it. Today the store looked like it was at max capacity, and it was a mad house in there. Overall, very poor experience 😢.Kid-friendliness: This Hard Rock location is permanently closing its doors on June 26th ,22 the discount in the Gift Shop is 75% percent off ! In addition, Cleveland Ohip is permanently closed too, I've been there over the years too, Tulsa Oklahoma closed there Hard Rock cafe ' and Hotel Casino many years, I went there once 1 time.
Kristy Broughton: on the expensive side but good foodHusband was upset his burger seemed like a frozen patty that he could have gotten anywhere. wonderful service even in the middle of a thousand kid per bus service.
Doug B: Food was ok
ᴛʜᴇ ᴄʜʀᴏɴɪᴄʟᴇs ᴏғ ᴍʏ ʟᴜʀᴄʜᴇʀs ʙʟᴜᴇ & ʙáɴ: Huge dishes I was stuffed after it. Cool guitars on the walls.
william obrien: Always said my kids would make it on the big stage

Paradise Rock Club: what do users think?
Emilia Bingham: The stage was off center, which was kind of odd and made it hard to be in a good spot, but overall it's a great spot and it's fun to see the names of everyone who has performed there before
Jane Abbott: I just got thrown out for absolutely no reason. Do not go here. They will literally rob you. The bartenders are absolutely insane and will cut you off for no reason. The bouncers will throw you out for having dilated pupils. "Becky the bartender" (gag me) has no idea what's she's doing. Serves drinks with no alcohol in them and then cuts you off. Then Matt the bouncer throws you out for having dilated pupils. What century are we living in? We're in a dark concert hall, everyone has dilated pupils you utterly useless tools. All I said to the bartender was that I would leave a bad yelp review. And then she started this nonsense aggression that got me kicked out of a show. Great job losing a paying customer causing zero trouble, for life. This place is absolute garbage and so are all of its employees.
Autumn HallowEve: Nice venue! Loved seeing The Summer Set here.
Jonathan Fuchs: The sound in this place is great!Staff/bartenders are top notch, I was really impressed by this spot.
Christy Chamberlain: This venue was overbooked, too tiny for the amount of people allowed in, the staff was rude and physically pushing me around. Very little visibility of the band performing. No parking near this venue either!Very disappointed.
Ashlinn Withers: My boyfriend and I traveled to see a show here. The venue is smaller than we expected, but the sound was good. There are pillars everywhere that can block your view, but there is a balcony you can stand on. Two small bars which are sufficient for the amount of people you can fit in that venue. The staff seem well prepared for anything and are friendly. I suggest this venue for any intimate show you'd like to attend.
Alex C: We saw The Black Dahlia Murder along with a stacked bill of bands and we had a good time. There are a bunch of signs stating that stage-diving and moshing weren't allowed, but security was extremely cool, and there was tons of it. I liked that there was a balcony section that provided a good view (one side is closer to the stage than the other) and a reprieve from the moshers.
Jeff Wright: Paradise has excellent shows, professional and refreshingly relaxed security (they take it seriously, but there’s no overly aggressive nonsense), three bars inside the concert hall and one outside, comfortable seating upstairs, great lighting, and the world’s worst layout for sound. The stage is inexplicably oriented to face the short side of the rectangular room, resulting in many, many weird acoustically dead or insanely echoey spots. The two massive pillars also tend to obscure the stage depending on where you stand and make for a good shoulder-shattering surface if you’re at a rowdier show. The staff are consistently excellent and the acts they bring in make it worth the visit, but be prepared to try a variety of vantages to get decent sound.
Aaron Geisel: It's a good venue and I'd recommend it, but with some reservations. We saw The Summer Set in 2023 and they were great. The lights were very well done, but there's a few pillars that can get in the way of the stage. Check in ws quick. There were some jerks that kept trying to mosh and even though they have a sign saying you'll be kicked out, security didn't do anything, which was frustrating. I'm trying to have a good time, not get elbowed in the face. I would have had a better time had those guests followed the rules.
Zachary M (Dr Civilization): Some unfortunately placed columns and strong AC but otherwise great music venue!
Lindsay hynes: Nice layout. Medium sized venue. Clean, books hardcore shows often. Can't ask for much more. Sounds mint. I travel 45 min + so go there and it's surrounded by killer food.
Connor: small, intimate venue that still packs a punch
Dustin Allan: Always a great experience. Venue has amazing sound
Jessie Ritner-Skillings: It is much smaller than I expected, and there are a lot of obstructed views due to pillars. It's an intimate venue to see your favorite band, but you'd have to be sure to be up near the stage in the center, or you'll miss half the show. Security staff was friendly, and the bar tenders were great.
stephanie coffill: Absolutely love this venue! Every show I’ve been to has been amazing.
Crystal Lavallee: I took my daughter to her first concert tonight and this was the perfect venue to do it at! The bartender was so happy to serve us and the rest of the staff's vibe was great too.
Marisa Barden: My favorite concert venue. It's a cozy size - no matter where you are standing you feel close to the stage.
Nick Korbel: The layout is weird, but this is a great place to see a band. Intimate, amazing sound, good lighting.
Dave Van Iderstine: The grungiest tiny loud rock club you'll ever see blasting damn good shows at in Boston! Comes with secret parking spots too 🤐
Courtney Martin: First time going to the paradise rock club, it was a great experience. Jessie murph and Charlieonnafriday killed it!!!
Emily Roth: The oddest venue set up ever. The stage is on the long side of the room, limiting the space directly in front of it. It's a small venue, but has great shows. I'll keep coming back even if I can barely see the stage.

Croke Park: what do users think?
Holdyn Lansink: Went here all 3 nights we were in Boston. Walk in and smell the piss. A true dive bar. Laura was an absolute beauty. Free pool, cheep beer. Benny tried to take my wife home. Otha than that. 11/10
Okella Wood: Not a lot of places like this left.
Danielle Hurley-O'Neill: Greatest dive bar in Boston! The atmosphere is laid back and the patrons are friendly and welcoming. Staff is attentive and friendly as well. The free pool is just an added plus! Love this place!
Colin J. Murphy: best dive in southie
Sean McGuffin: Place is lit.
Anne Cassidy: Gerry rocked and we can't wait to go back and chill with them for the day!!!!
Matthew Mulkern: This place is great. You get what you pay for. We came at 3pm and were served by DeeDee. She was great, didn’t know how much drinks cost but damn were they good. The funny thing is we can back at 1am and the bouncer said that DeeDee hasn’t worked here in ages. Not sure if DeeDee was a ghost but all in all a great experience. Highly recommend.
Stacy Delany: Came from Dublin to Boston for St Patrick’s week in 2022 spent paddy’s day here best pub in Boston
mattt h: great people great prices and good pool players
Wouldn't You Like To Know: This place gives South Boston a bad name.
Phillip Morton: Great bar. Bartender is cool af.
Fadi & Mai: Very nice neighborhood pub. Nice music and vibes, good beer, cheap prices, you can bring/order your own food, pool tables, darts.. I like it.
Gary Newman: Love this place! We came from Nova Scotia and the locals made us feel right at home. They chatted us up at the bar and played a few games of pool with us. Bartender was friendly and attentive. I 100% recommend this place and would come back.
Josh “Fred Pine” Hunter: Can't really think of a way this place could be more of a perfect dive. It is what it is. I had a few cold PBRs on draft. It's the kind of place you can walk in with a $20 bill and most likely leave satisfied. I'll be back next time I'm here for work.
David McSharry: The owner is a sound man from Dublin.
Isaac Balinski: A true southie neighborhood bar. Played pool with a guy who had been going there for 33 years. Some tips:- Pool is free, but you gotta put your name on the whiteboard to get on the list- Cash only- Drink bottled beer not the beer on draft- People are friendly, get to know them
Lance Jones: My neighborhood bar 12 miles away
James Bryant: Excellent service and not too rowdy, especially considering it is quite the dive.
Carl: My favorite bar in Boston. Everyone is talkative. Try out a game vs the pool regulars there, look up APA before though. Beers are cheap. Lara is a mix between a mother and a wild best friend, amazing. Haven't been here in a while, I hope its still open!
bill raye: Best little spot I've been too in a little bit. The owner is super nice and the crowd can be a melting pot!
Meaghan Maureen: Best Dive bar in Southie

Howl at the Moon Boston: what do users think?
Bethany Mayott: Bouncers were extremely rude. There were many over served people that ruined the vibe. People throwing up in the middle of the club, falling down stairs. Unsafe environment. They let way too many people upstairs to the point you can’t even get a drink. When I finally did they were over priced and not worth it.
Felipe Bessa: Wauu que lugar incrível ambiente maravilhoso astral nota 10 galera animada banda muito top galera bonita animada drinks perfeitos amei super recomendo voltarei mais vezes com mais amigos
Martin Nunez: Great place and fantastic vibe
Elongen Jones: I ordered a redbull and vodka and could only taste redbull. Drinks were not great.
Curtis Gibbons: Amazing spot. Servers were great, security wet great, and the performers were great. Top notch
Tyler Zolciak: Great live band plays every weekend! Awesome vibes, typically a younger crowd, cheap drinks and always a great time 😌
jennifer zaniboni: We bought skip the line passes for both upstairs and downstairs venues for $40 pp for birthday party. We arrived about 9 pm and there was no line at either. Later there was a line outside for the lower level club. Very fun venue and MC was good at having the birthday girl get up on stage to dance and sing with the band with smoke effects!. Only complaint is that several times we venmoed money (as instructed) for song requests totaling $40 in requests and the songs were never played. MC said that the band only knows certain songs so they can’t do anything about not honoring paid song requests :(
Sanjay Patel: great vibe
Vineet Yalaka: Oh damn can't explain how much fun we had at this place. The Jell-O shots were crazy and the dance floor(which is opens around 11pm) opens up all new wonders. Best time to be at this place is after 10 in the night.
shriya hukkeri: Nice little place with great live music. You can suggest songs as well!
Pranay Devgan: Live music, good drinks, great vibe and people howling, lol (there was one guy) it was fun night.
Julie Nasser: We threw a private party at Howl and they were amazing!!! So accommodating, answered every question quickly, provided A+ service and the band was fabulous as always! I absolutely recommend going to Howl if you want a fun night with live music
Amanda Holmsten: The drinks were cheap and the bar service was good but there was a general manager going around and rudely throwing coats at people who left them on chairs. Maybe invest in a coat check or get rid of table service after 11 pm on a Friday night! Will not be going back
Savannah Harpster: Horrible experience here
Colleen Smith: Great music and there is plenty of room to dance!
Jolene Eastman: Went for my niece's Bachelorette party we had a great time.
Celestina Marie: Our waitress Haley rocks!!! I will go back each time and personally request her because she makes this place that much more enjoyable. Music is upbeat , drinks are good.
Crystal Curran: Kinda weird vibes
Talita da Costa Moreira Lima: Nice place, delicious margaritas, and awesome musicians! Had a great time with friends!
Gwenyth Duclos: EXTREMELY RUDE STAFF…bouncer refused to let me in with my friends because I gave him “attitude”…filing with the better business bureau. Should be shut down for their incompetence. Will NEVER be returning .
Caleb LeClair: This spot bumpin

Biddy Early's: what do users think?
Willem Ponikvar: I am a Canadian. They didn’t accept my id to get it. They said “passport or go away” how ridiculous. For that 1 star. I’d rate 0/5 if I could.
JoAnne Mayer: Reviews aren’t wrong.Stayed at nearby hotel & wanted to play Golden Tee & watch some sports.Bartender (owner?) great & watched him continuously spray clean tables & check bathrooms. Awesome service. Would be a go to neighborhood bar for us. Darts too.
Edward Harrington: Great locals dive bar. Cold beer and owner was great.
Justin Thomas: Best dive bar in the city
Colm Whelan: Live in Boston 20 years. How did I just find this place? Great great local bar
Hailey Stoltenberg: Great dive bar, but smells like a toilet in the back
Dan M: Used to come here after work when I worked in the area. Great dive bar for beers and casual conversation. They have darts and it can get cramped but it’s just what the doctor ordered after a long day at work!
Jorge Munoz: My wife and I visited this place a few times and the bar tenders and workers are great. You go into this place and forget you are in Boston because it's not overpriced or filled with fancy pants. Just a great Irish type bar with great people working there. I'm making it a point to visit every time I'm near.
Pearce Wurthner-Labrecque: Awesome dive bar if you're down to drink in a toilet.
evans festo: Cheap drinks and good vibes
Carson Gibbs: My buddy Epstein (not that one) says this is the best bar in all of Boston. After a visit I can say it is my favorite as well. Loved playing darts and playing music all night long. Great service and location.
Jason Livingston: Good drinks
Dennis: Had time before last train out of South Station for Providence and was excited to find such a fun, welcoming, and good time scene here. Happy New Year and thanks for the warm shelter from old man winter BE peeps -D
Mike O'Shea: This place is great... PBR DRAFTS for only 3 bucks.
Jeff Grote: Great dive bar!!
Collin Keddy: Place is a joke and would never recommend to anybody
David Leyva: Cool spot, very dive bar local type feel. Nice people, attentive service.
Iyshia Kirkland: Loved the atmosphere here. Drinks were made with love, and the place was packed!
Heather Haley: So much fun!! Just the type of place we wanted to find!! Spent New Years Eve here. Crowd was awesome, busting into the best singalong all night!! Bartenders did a great job.
jerzdoolz: $3 PBRs in Boston is unheard of but there it is. Just love the rustic feel of the small pub!
L: Classic Irish dive bar

Durty Nelly's: what do users think?
max lavallee: Wouldn't serve us because we were canadian and wouldn't give a reason as to why, basicly ignored us after they saw our canadian id's
Austin A: Place is gold. Be a local, act like a local, don't be a D. Bar staff is awesome. True Irish Boston pub. #iykyk
Sam Farmer: Waited 45 minutes on St paddy's day for this lol. Couldn't have been more than 20 people. And got kicked out of the halfway interesting upstairs bc we bought a drink downstairs. They tried to embarass us by stopping the music and telling all 10 of us to leave. Very confusing experience. Not worth the $8 buds
Kelly Craft: Great place and bartender
Freedom seeker: quick drinks, shots and a good laugh. It's a must visit for a quick drink before an airplane flight.
Lauren Rodgers: I was in the area and didn't want to spend a lot of money on lunch. I picked out Dirty Nelly's because of the very reasonable menu listed on their website. I walked over and discovered that they had a truncated menu with 4 of the 8 things listed online (didn't find out why, but confirmed that there weren't additional options). They didn't have wings on this menu which is what I wanted so I left.
Kylie Nichols: Best location and best place!
Tanner T: Solid dive bar! Staff was friendly and crowd was good when we were there. Didn't check out the other level, but It seems the crowd that hangs out here is fun to be around.
Suzanne Burton Taylor: Loved this bar. Great prices. Must go if visiting Boston.
levi cooper: Came here on New Years, what an incredible crew working. Vibes were great, very cozy. Staff is incredible & hard working. Whoever the bouncers/bartenders were seriously deserve a big thank you. You guys rock!
Joe Nash: Best avoid
Kent Williams: Arguably best dive bar in Boston. The bartenders are super nice and my fiends and I had a great time here last weekend!
Julie: I absolutely hate leaving a negative review but I have to. My friend and I were visiting Boston from Florida on Halloween weekend and we popped into this place because they looked like they had a good crowd and it looked the the perfect hole in the wall. We approached the bar and received nothing but attitude. They were not interested in serving us at all. In fact they literally said to us that they were too busy. We got the feeling that they only cater to the locals. Upon seeing the other reviews I think we were right. If you are an out of towner don't bother with this place. RUDE!!
Brian Bowen Jr: The best hidden gem of Boston bars. Very friendly bartenders
Henry Aufiero: Bartender has the worst attitude of all time. Dude you’re not that cool relax tone yourself down. Beer was kinda cold guiness was good outside of that not great.
Gretchen Cann: Nice “dive bar”. It’s clean comfortable staff and locals are friendly. The bartender was attentive and a pleasure to chat with. I would have no problem stopping by with friends or when I’m traveling solo.
Will Rhodes: Top 3 worst bar experiences we've ever had. Upstairs bartender, what a pr*ck.Ordered 4 diff beers. He poured them very confused and wrong. Like a training video for "how not to pour a beer". They were not carbonated and sour - all of them. We told him and there was no consideration of the quality: "This is how beer tastes. If you have a problem you can leave.". Ok dude.So we left. Not my first rodeo. The beer was filthy and flat. Enjoy "Durty Nelly's". Specializing in floating rat water.
Talie Delemere: Really actually great bar. Lovely music, nice setting and we thought the bar maid Roisin was lovely but when it came to paying she got all weird and kicked off about us splitting the payment. We were happy to take our time but she kicked off and then overcharged me. When I called out the overcharge she huffed and puffed and gave me my refund via cash (minus the tax already paid....) Avoid if you're a tourist
Samantha Amy: Hands down the best bar in Boston!! Good beers, good vibes, good tunes, better bartender. If you’re a fan of finding the local watering hole in each city, this is your spot! Will be a staple every time we come to Boston.
Tris Whitebear: $10 for a pint of Guiness. Criminal
Juliana Paredes: It’s a very small place to have drinks and uncomfortable. No food offered, only alcoholic beverages. There are two floors and it’s like in a building with apartments around.Staff seems nice but second floor bartender seems like he doesn’t want to be there so he’s annoyed when you don’t know what to order, ask him about it or talk to him.My husband and I had only a drink and left right away.Off atmosphere.

Wally's Cafe Jazz Club: what do users think?
Dave Kinghorn: Standing Room Only. I would have had a great time even if I hadn't been lucky enought to get a seat, though. I hope they can knock down the wall and add some more space because I'd love to be back there.
Nat Werth: Superb jazz venue with consistently talented and impressive musicians. One of my few regrets while living in Boston was not visiting Wally’s more often. There’s no cover, so remember to tip the band and to show your support to the venue! I look forward to future nights spent dancing at Wally’s Jazz Café!!
rafael g: Great jazz music... very impressed with Paul's ability to do everything 👏 👌 👍🏼
Éva Thouvenot: As many have mentioned before - says it opens at 5h pm, that’s just BS. I brought my dad (75 years old) to this club, coming all the way from Montreal… we got there at 5h and waited in the freezing rain until 5h30 pm - the bar manager kept telling us “just 10 mins “ … we left, never got in, who knows if they ever opened? Very disrespectful. Won’t ever go back.
lala stein: This bar is our kind of local bar! Friendly and great music. We were there on a Tuesday night, funky music
Rob Goodwin: This is the best Jazz and best vibes you will find in New England.
DextDee Studios. LTC: Great environment. Super nice owners. Family own and managed.
James Wynn: Boston jazz at its finest...
Stéphane Perron: Very bad experience . The bouncer and the manager at the entrance are full of contempt for the clients. Overrated place. It stinks. I love jazz and have been to many jazz clubs around the world. This is easily one of the worst ones. Money grab for naive tourists. Walk around the area, there are many jazz clubs or restaurants with live bands that respect their clients. All the 4 and 5 for this awful place are obviously friends of the management trying to bury all the 1. Beware. Filter the reviews.
Dylan Sidd: My first fail attempt to go to Wally’s was 1993, on my way I got mugged on Columbus Street, back then it was not so safe area. I was a student, after my school I moved to California, my kid is going to same university as I did and I came to visit her. This was my first visit to Wallys, which I have waited 30 years, I walked in with the full style, could not have been happier to be there. It’s an iconic place to be. I had fabulous time.
David Hale Smith: Unique small venue for enjoying great music in an intimate historic setting. Cozy spot with walls lined by photographs and news clippings of jazz history. Pretty good prices on drinks for Boston. Wonderful place to see talented newcomers on Sunday nights when students and friends play for tips. Do not miss this spot.
Tim Barnes: Amazing spot if you love jazz!
Alan Pierson: Great music! And real history here too
Donal Waide: Been here on and off since 90s. It's not just Jazz, it's Wallys!
T K: Maybe the coolest place you never knew was there
Alfonso Sira: Great place to go for live music!
Priscila Drummond: Cozy place with live performance and nice drinks.
Phil B: Fun atmosphere. Open late on weeknights.
Kevin M. Doyle: Truly, a Boston institution. If you like jazz, you'll love this simple little bar that loves to showcase up and comers as well as accomplished and famous jazz musicians.
KR Marañon: Jazz night during the winter time, grab a drink enjoy the live music, and don’t be afraid to share the energy with the performers - respectively.
Christina Moreno: Every time we go to Boston, we always go to Wally’s! It is THE place to go to have a good time! It is extremely lively, and the music is always extraordinary.

O'Briens Pub: what do users think?
alex geb: AahhhhAhhhhhhAaaaaahhhhAahhhhahahh
Zach W: Cash only. The drinks are cheap and strong. The music is fast and loud. What else do you want?Great spot for local/smaller punk bands. Sadly a dying breed in Allston, but please, protect O’Briens at all costs!!Bring back the roller dogs!
Jedi Piff: Fire music chill bartender
Katelyn T: Worst Pub ever! Wish there was an option for zero stars…from the “Hostess” to the “Owner” Terrible food no “live” music and was bothered by little kids who wanted to Irish step dance 😂 wouldn’t recommend this place even if it was free awful don’t waste your time or money.
Shane Woolley: Best gansett tall boys in town
Ryancc Huang: Update on 17 Oct 2022Last night, the doorman thought my Florida ID was fake, got my ID away and said I have to wait their boss to check my ID. If the ID is real, I can come back next night to get it back, if not, I have to provide another identicaion to get it back.In the beginning, I wanted to call the police. The doorman said no need to call the police and asked me to come back next night, then I kept asking questions about my right, he finally give my ID back for me.I know that it's your right to refuse anyone to get in your pub, but I don't think you can get my ID away. I really like this pub and the music here. In fact, I came here every time when I came to Boston. This is my third time to Boston and I used the same ID in the previous two times. I feel really frustrated about last night's experience.Next time, I'll try to bring another kind of ID with me, I hope that I can enjoy the drink and music again. Then I'll modify the review back to five stars.----- below are my old five stars review-----超棒的音樂酒吧,客人和酒保都很友善,適合晚上沒事進來小酌聽聽音樂要注意的是這邊只能用現金交易,不過角落有一台ATM可以使用
HKT: Great venue and the staff and locals were all wicked. I was on my own visiting from the UK and went to a punk show, loadsa fun.
Will Hughes: Absolutely class. Robin was really good at guitar, and Batman BATTED the drums like someone who was good at the drums would. They have a solid selection of drinks, as a Welsh person, I was confused by them, but they tasted nice, and that was nice, this is a nice place. Thanks very much! The staff were friendly and short, but still friendly, which I know is tough, and although they had lots of rules about ID, we met the requirements, thanks to our in date British Passports. Punk still lives in O'neills bar, visit if you ever get the chance!!
Steve McNeely: Great dive bar
Jeremy Epworth: Keeping live music alive in Boston is no easy task but this place makes it seem effortless.
Steven Brum: Bought tickets for a show and they didn’t let my girlfriend in because she had no ID. Showed the door guy a college ID, BARTENDING LICENSE, and a drivers permit. Crazy to think she could get a job there but can’t come in as a customer. Happened to at least 3 other people that night too. Guy was too stuck up to just put an X on our hands and enjoy the show.
Tori C: Terribly rude. Lied about their policies and were rude even when confronted with the fact that they were lying. Absolutely awful. Prices are not good either ($8 for a Long Island, really????)
paige mckeown: Was absolutely delicious. Would go back
Evan Perusse: Great place for live music and to have a drink with a friend.
Charles Gonzalez: Stay away from the bartender billy if you dont “tip” enough you wont get served
John Roemer: It's a pillar of Boston's hardcore and punk scene.
Mike Grill: This place is cool, but often i find it difficult to drop logs without a door to the toilet stall
Lisa Albert: Great venue for live music and well priced drinks. They take covid restrictions seriously, I felt very safe there!
Braeden Robert: Doorman.
Juleshoket: Staff was great and hospitable. Just a fun time overall
PATRICIA M Ready: Great local haunt! Some of the best of Boston music can be heard here! (Cash only)
