She doesn't have great customer service skills the way she talk to me, you would think that she thought I was stealing. I am way too educated to be taking things that does not belong to me. A person should never look at someone because of context of their skin.

V: I have been shopping at this specific location for 10+ years. They have a wide variety of shoes for both men and women. It’s always organized & the staff are friendly. FIRST FLOOR: Men & Women sneakers. SECOND FLOOR: womens heels, boots & Clarence section. If the escalator going down to first floor isn’t working. There is an elevator & stairs to lead you back down. I ordered a pair of boots online for pickup at this location for the first time and wanted to ask a few questions regarding the pickup. I made three different phone calls. The first one was put on hold forever (10 mins+) and never heard back. The next two calls got picked up and hung up immediately without saying anything. This is super rude. I totally understand that they are busy. They can just leave ignore the calls in the first place. So, I didn't have to wait for them.Anyhow, due to its prime location, I will probably shop here again.

I was in town for the weekend, bought a pair of shoes, had them for one day and I couldn’t exchange them because I wore them out of the store and walked 50 feet to the hotel in them. I wanted to exchange - not return - and was still denied. This is the first time I bought shoes from a retail store in years. I mostly buy online but wanted to support the local economy. It’s too bad stores adopt these antiquated policies when online shops are much easier for returns. I will not shop at a physical Clarke’s again. Much easier to get it through Zappos and not have some sales lady give you a hard time when you want to upgrade your boots.

Kimberly S: Vibes were off on my last visit. Usually I have a great experience here. Totally want to give benefit of the doubt if the SA was new or tired, but they were not familiar with styles or names at all. I asked about the 50/50 Soho Boot and they said that there is no such thing and that the 50/50 style only comes as a over the knee boot. I didn’t even want to press because it didn’t seem worth it. When I was trying on a shoe that I didn’t want to force to fit, they made a comment about how if I tried harder it would go in. If it doesn’t fit, it doesn’t fit. I did not really feel welcomed and I was made to feel awkward about asking about styles.

Ulrike Klein: Just wanted to do a major shout out to the Stuart Weitzman Boutique in Copley.I had seen a pair of boots on the outlet website and that pair had been sold out in my size. I then found the same pair at Saks for almost double.I popped into Stuart Weitzman's just to see if they had the boot in store for the sales price.Turned out, the boot had been returned to the warehouse, but the sales manager was tremendous. She checked the system, found that there were 9 of these shoes left in the entire company in my size and she called up one of their outlets, who send the boots to the store.Truly fantastic effort and customer service!
刘Even: One man sales is rude and pressure to buy. If you don’t buy it today, he’s not happy to assist you. Every time you ask for the sizing, he’s asking whether you’re going to buy or not. I’m not sure it’s because of races or he’s just rude.

It’s 95 outside and it was like 112 inside their store. Ridiculous. Thank you to the staff for being accommodating but I don’t think till their air is fixed.

Given the fact that the same employee had told me to get 2 sizes and return the pair that didn't fit as well, I'd be surprised if they would have taken the other pair back. Slimy character.
Alex Lennox-Miller: Absolutely fantastic source of shoes, socks, accessories, and mens wear. Knowledgeable, friendly staff who are more interested in finding the right match, fit, or look for you than they are in padding out the bill, which is a rarity in this kind of store. The building is currently under construction (Winter 2019), but they are very much open.

Every one I had spoken to either hung up on me or never transferred the call. Once I finally got a hold of someone, they seemed reluctant to even check and see if the item i wanted was in stock. After telling me what was in stock, they abruptly said ‘bye bye’ and hung up with out any thing else being said.

Sabej Tahan: This isn’t the first time i’ve had a bad experience here, first was the Chanel Beauty inside the Saks store, I went to see what foundation I wanted but I wanted to try a sample of it to make sure it’s my shade but the lady said they couldn’t do samples so i bought the shade she colour matched me. Tried it at home, it wasn’t my colour so I went back to return it and it was the same lady that sold me the foundation, she seemed very upset and just grabbed the receipt out of my hand and then just shooed me away, Now the second time I went to buy a twilly at the Dior store, was greeted nicely but once i went back to return it they told me to go away and couldn’t return it because it was “used” even though the sales associate wrapped it in around my bag. Don’t know but I think this store is very racist because i kept getting looks up and down and judged because i was struggling with my english pronunciation. Very disappointed. Won’t ever be coming in again
Nhung Nguyen: Do not recommend this department store! Terrible service! I bought a bottle of perfume and got it shipped to my house in NH. The associate claimed it would take 3-5 days to recieve and even 6 days later, I heard nothing from thr store regard my order. Sak’s online system does not connect to the store purchase which I could not track my order because there is no order number on the store receipt! Too much complications to chase cat tails, manager to manager that we have called 3 time and no one resposible for my order, even the lady on fragrance section who sold it to me shave it off. I was really upset. The assc also forced me to open a credit card to receive 10% off instea of just sign up for my email online.

Franty Cleophat: DON’T order online. You will Never get your item. I ordered from them on December 27th and delivery date expected on January 3rd. Shipping label created on December 28th for next day delivery. Now January 6, and you guessed it right; i never received my order. Mind you it was supposed to be a gift. I ended up putting a claimed for my money and now I have to wait 10 days for my refund. For a big company like this, they need to revisit their service because they have none. You can get better service from Dots then them. Don’t waste your time and money shopping there. Horrible experience.

Yimeng Wang: purchased a YSL Nikki from Saks last year and found out that the YSL head quarter weren't able to authenticate that, resulting in me not able to receive any warranty or other after service. This is very bad and disappointing plus surprising situation, but Saks continue to refuse to provide ANY solution, not a refund, nothing. They just kept telling me they are authorized retailer regardless my email from YSL saying they were not able to authenticate that. Makes me question the quality of all other items they sell.
Liz: Awful experience with their customer service at 1st floor. I received a wrong item from them so went there in person to get refund. I let them know that the item I ordered was different and is now out of stock- the staff scoffed at me saying it looks “almost” the same.Well clearly it was different belt (w/different code number) from what I ordered which I explained. He almost mockingly smiled which I found very rude.
Jasmin Liu: Very judgmental customer service representatives - I was clearly looking for assistance and probably made eye contact with 5+ associates but no one offered help. I then tried to to make a return and they said that I would’ve had to wait more than an hour because their “phone lines were busy” and recommended I ship back my item myself. How hard could it be for them to help me return something, especially when I was already at the store ??

Ian Tracy: It's a nice store, but they did not get my shoe size correct, and I've been stuck with two pairs of AE that are just way too snug and that I can't use. So disappointing. It took a trip to a different AE store to finally get properly fitting shoes. The Newbury location needs to get customer service right rather than what seems to be prioritizing the sale of (improperly fitting) in-store merchandise.

Tom Gregory: Kind and knowledgeable staff, they gladly took the time to get the right fitting boot for me and humored all my other requests about various shoes. Shop here for a truly great American made brand and support local sales staff. Look good, feel good, do good.

Doogie Oh: Shoes quality is just fine for the price. Often, shoes have weird design. I had higher expectations for their comfort line. However, they don't provide true comfort, but a little soft feeling. In addition, salespersons are unfriendly.

THey had a sale and they made a 3E for me since they didn't have one in stock in a any store. I still got the 30% off deal!They are the nicest shoes I own.You can pay more for a pair made by slave labour in a 3rd world country or you can get the best here.
