JM Phillips: Store manager Daniel was really really expert. He juggled multiple customers and was able to solve our issue, despite the awful phone customer support from Verizon corporate. Daniel proactively took matters into his own hands and really showed customer care. Activating a new phone shouldn’t be as difficult as Verizon made it, but Daniel is an all star, it’s the only reason there are three stars here.
Monaka: Verizon charges an “activation” fee of 35 dollars for all phone purchases. All they do is take the phone outside of the box and turn it on. It is like going to a restaurant on your birthday with a cake, only to be charged for additional “cake-cutting” fee.It feels like Verizon takes the cake out, puts a candle, lights it, and brings it to your table without even cutting it.And what you get is some stranger’s oily fingerprints on your fresh iPhone.
Sienna Kim: Hose was extremely helpful with helping me out on switching from prepaid to a plan. I had several calls with customer service, credit team, etc. that lasted hours and was not getting anywhere. I’m so thankful that Hose helped me out and resolved this issue. Thank you!

Lynda M: I wish I could give an entire galaxy of stars to Verizon associates Ella and Morgan.....they were not only exceptionally knowledgeable, but were so pleasant and professional....AND patient.I am very happy with my new phone, the Samsung Galaxy A42 5G....and I took Morgan's suggestion and purchased a screen protector and phone case......it is incredible how much more vibrant and clear my photographs and videos are with this new Samsung, and Morgan was right, the battery life is far longer than my old Galaxy J3 Eclipse.I have had a few follow-up questions with my phone and when I went back to the Washington Street location Morgan, Ella, and Simba, were always very helpful......and while waiting in line for my turn to ask a question I saw that they were so professional and helpful with everyone.....I cannot say the same for all the Verizon locations, but my experience at the Washington Street store was always outstanding! They truly make you feel that they are genuinely interested to resolve any issue you are having with your phone.Most recently I was so appreciative to Ella for assisting me in transferring some voice messages that I had on my old phone to my new phone of my dear Aunt who died......and Ella expertly did the process and I am so happy to have those treasured messages.You can be assured to receive professional, expert, and welcoming customer service from the associates at the Verizon store on Washington Street in Boston.......and if you are very lucky, you will be assisted by Ella and Morgan.

Joan Luya: Nobody wanted to help. I had to go ask and wait and wait and wait and when I asked for a receipt the guy almost yelled at me. Don’t waste your time in this store. They are rude and at least today, they didn’t feel like working. I am not sure if they were being sexist because all the few customers in the store were women and they were ignoring all of us. If you think women don’t understand cell phones, you certainly has been left behind in medieval era. Anyway, not going back. Wow! Don’t your managers orient you about interacting with customers???
Southie 31: Ran in 15 minutes before closing and they were great. I had an issue with the number Customer Service gave me yesterday. The gentleman who helped me made it easy as possible and the manager came over to help without making me feel like a nuisance. Good people.
Eli Malo: This is by far the worst experience I have ever had at a wireless store. I went in for a simple setup and they literally wanted to do everything except help me. Don’t go to this store unless you want to waste 2-3 hours of your life using their phones to speak with customer service.

Ali Ronca: Really annoying experience here last week. Popped in on my lunch break to sign up for a plan and get a new phone. Unfortunately, the 'sign-up' program on the agent's tablet kept crashing, which added a lot of unnecessary time to the visit. I had to keep entering all of my details again and again. I chose a phone number four different times (each time the previous number I had picked was the 'unavailable' after the system crashed) and in the end I went home with some totally random number I did not pick and had never seen prior. After all of this hassle, I then got flagged by security, and the agent had to spend 45 minutes on the phone with security to verify my details. Only giving two stars instead of one as the agent helping me was patient and kind throughout the process, although not apologetic. In summary - should not take 2.5 hours to sign up for a phone plan - literally, this is what you do, day in and day out, so I expect you to do it a bit better.
Raquel Di Sousa: Went to the store to check eligibility to change carrier. Stood up there for 30 minutes and no one of the sales person provided service or any feedback. Just one of them was with a client. The other 3 was hanging around the phone.

Jean Gibran: As an 88 year old woman recently moved to the top floor of a North End residence, I often admire the night sky with rooftops, historic spires and the Verizon sign lighting up its Causeway St roof. Last December I noticed a red & green band of light surrounding the sign; then on MLK Day January 17, I enjoyed the same colorful image. Last night I searched and was rewarded. A Valentine's Day gleaming red ribbon enfolded VERIZON. Now my adventure continues. When next will bright colors celebrate a holiday? First Day of Spring? Easter? Passover? Juneteenth? Of course 4th of July! THANKS for this brand new Tradition.
Nicholas Hunte,Sr.: The people that work there are the laziest! There's no specs next to the phone's & the workers don't even know ANYTHING about then either. They just sat there while I asked what the specs were for a phone, said they didn't know, then turned away to keep talking with his other female associate worker! This is ABSOLUTELY the WORST retail phone store I've ever been to. Out of ALL the phone places I've been to!

Bill Moscarelli: I'm in the category of the tech illiterate old guy. For several months I've been driven to distraction by overage charges for usage. I finally went to the store where I had signed up for the Verizon plan. In minutes Stavros looked up my info and figured out the problem. He put me into a different plan for unlimited usage , which started by dropping charges already accrued for the current month. Within max ten minutes I was out of the store and happy. So much better than dealing with a so-called customer service call center. Thank you Stavros.
Rebecca Lewis: Don't waste your time at this store!I asked for insurance to be removed from my phone (twice) and instead they added insurance to all lines on my plan, resulting in an erroneous charge of almost $100--after visiting their store twice about this same issue. Note that this is an authorized retailer, not an actual Verizon store.I'd take your business to an actual store, like the real Verizon store in Harvard Square where they immediately figured out the issue and rectified it appropriately.

Gary: Terrible experience !!!Upgraded my phone, but sales rep Cristal connected my new device to a different phone number. Did not realize it until I was far from the store and called my parents. The caller ID on their phone showed up a wrong name and number. Meanwhile the other person whose number was programmed into my new phone lost her phone connection.I had to spend at least 30 minutes on the phone with Verizon to straighten this mess out, was told that both phones needed to be powered off and powered back on for the fix to work. I was able to get my number back, but have no way to contact the other girl to tell her what to do. Feel bad for her.Very unprofessional!!

Lindsey Bishop: Went into this place because it was near my work. I wanted to trade in my iPhone 7 for the 8 and the girl asked me of the account holders last 4 of ssn and pin. I didnt know what the pin was kept trying to think of it and couldnt another sales associate said you can reset the pin but she wouldnt do it. I informed them my family member on the plan went in and did the exact same upgrade and didnt need a pin. They said it must have been a corporate store. So i walked out and went to a corporate store. Don’t go here its worth going to a Verizon Wireless store. I walked out with a new phone in 30 mins!

Lisa Neville: Be careful if they offer you a free tablet. I asked the correct questions because I didn't want any extra set up or monthly charges. I got slammed with a 180$ bill that had set up, access and monthly device fees. Thankfully I got my bill within the 14 day window that I can return it. Salesman had no idea what he was talking about or lied!
Alexandra Duplaine: I went to this shop while I arrived in Boston from France and they sold me a prepaid card whereas they shouldn't have because Verizon is not compatible with foreign phones. They pretended they didn't know and didn't gave me a full refund because "prepaid card are not refundable". That's a trap for foreigners. You should go to T-mobile instead !

Johanne Philistin: I just left the store (today 4/12/17 at 7:46pm), and I have to say that I'm very disappointed with the service that I received. I don't know if it was because I got there 30 minutes before closing, but the one guy that was there seemed very annoyed the minute that I walked in. I wanted to have a breakdown of the new plans as I'm looking to switch my phone. His tone was very unpleasant as he was explaining the information to me; and at one point he laughed at my question, belittling me. I decided to come to this store based on the reviews, but I didn't have the same experience at all.

Cambridge Street (Beacon Hill) location is so convenient and accessible for me and other employees at Mass. General Hospital. Spread the word and you'll get so much business from hospital employees alone

After asking a few questions during our call, Gilbert was very helpful in "diagnosing" my issue and determined it was because of the version my phone was on. So friendly and supportive! If I have any issues, I'll be happy to come in to get additional help.
